Agnes was swift in her email correspondences before our arrival and was helpful in our planning to Lake Toba. However, the driver, Rafael/Raphael who was assigned to us gave us the worst nightmare! Since we were dissatisfied with his service from Day 1 (had requested for a change in driver but not successful), we refused to give in to his demand for a total tip of RP200,000 (according to him, we have to tip him RP50,000 per day per pax for the 2 days of service). He threw the RP80,000 that we had tipped him earlier back at us and refused to let us go. Luckily we were already at our hotel entrance and the hotel staff managed to bring him away from us to ensure our safety. *ps: we verified with the locals that there’s no fixed rate for tipping, purely based on your level of satisfaction.

I used PT Lovely Holidays to organise return transport to Lake Toba. Agnes was extremely helpful in organising a car and driver ("Kiki") who was extremely careful and took care to ensure our comfort. This was all done on very short notice and for a reasonable price. . . . Ibu Agnes adalah orang baik dan memberi bantuan kepada keluarga saya untuk berjalan (pulang/pergi) ke Danau Toba.
