Firstly, 3 stars are mainly because of security service, cinema hall (audi4) was fine but the sound was bit too much, sort of unbearable level at times. Picture quality is good, but 3D glasses were oily, and lenses were not clean. Remember to use some glass cleaner and clean them before packing. The cashier service is good. The service of the person who is checking the tickets is also good, but your security is bad, first why do you'll check customers again, everyone inside the mall has already gone through a security check, now when we went to buy tickets Security was not near entrance suddenly a female Security officer came running and started checking bags which we did shopping inside the mall by this time we were half was inside close to the cashier at PVR. Next, when we pursched the tickets, we went out of PVR area when trying to leave again your Security officer asked us to leave from the left side, in school also we were tought to walk on right?? Anyways, if you really want people to follow that kind of instructions, place a board such as entrance and exit. Some people don't like it when people try to order them. One more thing, if you don't like people carrying bags after shopping or drinks, have a storage cupboard, let people keep it and take it when leaving. What do you expect us to do? Go to the car, which is far and put everything inside it and come? Please improve on your service as it does not suit the overall mall experience. Overall design and other stuff is good, I didn't try the canteen as I heard people have mentioned food is high priced and I came just after lunch so was not nessasary. The whole experience was when we came to watch Gajaman at PVR located at One Galle Face 6th Floor Audi 4, which the movie was very nice, funny, and entertaining.

Fortnight ago, my family and I visited the cinema which was a pleasant surprise since once in a blue moon we do family outings. I had to book tickets online for a screening of the latest movie, and I was impressed by the ease and convenience of the process. The cinema was located in OGF(One Galle Face), but it had its own entrance and parking area, which made it easy to access. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they checked my tickets and guided me to the correct auditorium since there are multiple of them. The cinema had a spacious lobby with a variety of snacks and drinks to choose from, and the prices were quite expensive. Nevertheless, the popcorn and drinks were fresh and tasty. However, please order the relevant food and snacks prior so you can enjoy the movie while you are consuming your ordered cuisines. Make sure you get a menu from one of the assigned staff members. The auditorium was clean and comfortable, with reclining seats and ample legroom. Also, they will provide a blanket to you too. The sound and picture quality were excellent, and the movie was engaging and entertaining. Moreover, the cinema is located in a convenient area, close to many restaurants and shops at the same level of the building complex. I enjoyed the experience, and I would recommend this cinema to anyone looking for a great way to spend an evening.

The best place to watch new-release movies is around the Colombo area. The PVR Cinemas offers 2D and 3D movies with multiple theaters. Theaters are in two categories, PVR LUXE, and PVR MALL. PVR LUXE is very comfortable compared to the other theaters, and it contains adjustable seats (a seat can be converted to a bed also), a phone charger socket for every seat, an adjustable foot holder, etc. The theater has a freezing environment; if you feel too cold, blankets are also available. The ticket price is high compared to the PVR MALL theater. PVR MALL is the primary theater, but the theater is almost ok, and it contains adjustable seats but not fully adjustable; you can adjust the seat a little bit for your comfort level. Each seat has a cup holder with it. There is a food center there; you can buy popcorn, pasta, sandwich, etc from there. The food quality is excellent, but the prices are expensive too. The washrooms are excellent and clean. There is a lot of space there, so there is no rush and queue for washrooms. If you are planning to watch a movie, it's better to reserve your ticket via their website before you come. Using the website, you can book the ticket at the same price as your chosen seat. Online ticket booking is an advantage for you because otherwise there is usually a queue for seat reservations.

Best movie theater in Srilanka. It has located within the largest mall in Sri lanka called One Galle Face (OGF) the mall of Shangrilla. This complex has 9 theaters. There are two luxury theaters also. There you can lie down and watch the movie. The ticket price varies from luxe to normal. Luxe also sometimes 3500 per person sometimes 2500 per person. Other theaters may vary from 1200 – 1300 per head. But all the theaters are maintained well. The food court of PVR has a variety of foods. Pizza, Samosa, nuggets, kieves, fingers, wedges, fries, pop cones and many more. Lot of vegetarian options are available. Variety of drinks are also available. Yummy food and clean environment. The food will be delivered to the theater if we provide the seat numbers and the theater numbers. That will be more convenient for the customers. Only disadvantage is, there will be a huge queue to place the order for food since there are 9 theaters and a short break is given. There is an app called PVR to reserve the movie seats. That is very useful for pre bookings. Also can get the trailer views too. Worth experiencing PVR theaters. I will recommend this for family outings, kids entertainment and for couples also.

Let’s not talk about the popcorn priced at 1,450 LKR. That’s hideous already. But what’s new their dumb-ways-to-operate menu is the fact that them having about 5 POS machines, too many staff behind the counters (running around. I mean its popcorn. Whats the rush?) BUT ONLY ONE POS MACHINE operating EVEN WHEN THERE’S a massive line to buy their overpriced popcorn, when there’s like 5 minutes left for the movie to begin! How stupid is that. Apparently they HAVE a station manager too and he is not even aware that there’s only ONE POS OPERATING! Please, you need to implement a refund-if-we-delay-you-to-your-movie, because that’s what happens. Stupidity has a domino effect. Fix yourself please. The quality of food to the premise to everything is top notch but what I said above adds to the experience and that’s even before you walk in. So yep.

I visited PVR cinema today @One GALLE Face without it being planned as it was my first time here & 1st day ever in Sri Lanka . Marvel just so happened to be playing in 5mins so l thought why not try out the cinemas in Sri Lanka- Wow wow wow… The movie was shown in 3D and in Luxe cinema which was simply amazing and as a very keen. I Emma way her around the world l would have to say that was the nicest cinema experience lve had for the cheap price. Electric recliner lounge seat with fresh blankets on offer….sound quality was fantastic and everything about the movie experience was fantastic. The guy that served me the ticket was happy and helpful and on exiting the staff again so happy….highly recommend. Even the toilets at this place are 5star and immaculately clean

It's common knowledge that pvr is waaaaaaaay over priced, with its ticketing and it's snacks. The theatres, the screens and the overall experience is very similar to other theatres that is less overpriced. I believe most of the charges has to do with the name and the location but if you are more focused on watching a movie and grabbing tastier popcorn(we all know the cheddar is to die for) there ARE other... Better places Paying a whopping 2000-3000 on certain tickets I expected to have an indulging experience at PVR but everytime I return to watch a movie, I am simply disappointed. Furthermore, the website shows a membership card that offers several services when you purchase tickets online but they don't function irl. Maybe fix that. Love OGF tho ✋ Peace

Edit: visiting the luxury hall a few times and the hall is pretty comfy with the seats reclining but the audio was not loud enough. Ticket price is a little too much but the worst thing is their service. They have only one guy at the counter to issue tickets to 30 people in a queue. Same with the food queue which btw is ridiculously expensive. A regular popcorn is 1400 where as Scope it’s only 650 with much better service. Never gonna visit here again just robbing your hard earned money. Old review: The Cinemas are very modern and very well made. One major concern here was the whole film hall smelled like sweat. I think they don’t clean the carpets. It was so gross and unpleasant! (Film hall 8) Besides the food is outrageously expensive.

- Luxe Audi 01 - Movies can’t be booked thru the website and had to go physical and collect the tickets which was too bad. Went for Jawan and tickets were priced at 3250/- pp. For Expendable 4, It was 3500/- pp The luxe Audi 1 film hall was perfect. The adjustable and comfy seats, good space between seats, balanced sound system, and even a sheet to cover up if it’s too cold inside. The seats come with in-built cup holder and adjustable plate holder and a usb port to charge your phone. Love the atmosphere there. The food was good, but they are way too overpriced. had to wait a long time to buy something in queue. Even it’s for popcorn. So better to be there early. Overall experience was perfect!

PVR Cinemas located in OneG is a solid choice for the average movie-goer. There are many screen choices with different movies shown here with 2D and 3D options. Screen quality is good but not the best here, hence the 4 stars. Dolby surround sound enabled theatres give an immersing experience. Their food court offers well-made variety of food and beverages with in-hall service as well. Play house is rather a great theatre to go watch a movie with your kids where a play area is available for them inside. Overall, this is recommended and one of the better cinema choices in the Colombo area.

Professional staff who are attentive make sure you feel like you're home and have a good experience.

They have many cinema halls and a selection of movies to watch . Seats inside the hall is really good and comfortable. Its a very luxurious cinema halls section . We watched two movies the same day . Enjoyed it very much .

Amazing place to spent our free time with your family and friends ❤. Lot's of theater's 24/7 showing flims, Tamil flims, English flims, horror movies, hindi flims etc.. No out side food allowed if you want snaks you can buy inside pvr kitchens central but Price's high. Really enjoy seeing a movie in Sri Lanka, they food is quite good and the popcorn is delicious. The one thing I love was the seats slide down, which you don't normally see in other theatres around the world. Luxury Cinema experience in one gall face mall. Adjustable seats are great. Also the picture quality. I think they have 9 theaters. They recommended that I buy tickets from the very back row. So I did it. Sadly the sound experience from there was not what I expected. Some dialogues were unheard-able. So buy tickets from middle rows. The red ambient lighting for guiding was kinda annoying because it adds red tint to the screen.

When it comes to Luxury viewing Luxe is absolute worth the money compared to other cinemas in Sri Lanka. But due to certain attributes in PVR I give only 4 stars! The place is very nice, I came to watch cartoons, but I didn't expect that the studio was provided with a place for children to play, and it made them noisy and running around, making it uncomfortable, I once went to Studio in Kandy, even though the show was for children, the atmosphere was very comfortable and darker, so the children couldn't run around. Maybe there is another more comfortable place in Colombo??

Everything is good except for their F&B pricings. It's okay to have expensive choices but they really needs to consider adding more budget friendly options like smaller popcorn packs. 1.5k for a popcorn is too much. Seats are great and comfortable, have reclining ability as well. One thing needs to be mentioned is upper 2-3 rows(superior) are bit higher than the screen which gives a weird viewing angle

One Galle Face PVR Cinema is a premium quality theater that provides the best movie experience I have ever had in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Both the sound and screen were top-notch in the theater. The seats were both clean and comfortable, with a pleasant interior. Compared to other movie theaters, the ticket and food prices are slightly higher. Overall, PVR Cinema is recommended for a good movie experience.

One of the best places to get great cinematic experiences. There are more than six movie theaters. Staff was very helpful . And the service was great. If you want to get luxury experience there are LUXE theaters. You can get wonderful experience there . There’s a special LUXE LOUNGE that you can stay until the movie begins. Most of the time staff will serve the food items that you order to you.

The theater consist of good seating facilities, arrangement is nice. In the 6th floor of OGF. The ticket prices are reasonable. But there was a serious issue with the popcorn and coke price. Price is not mentioned anywhere, no bundle packages, a regular coke cost you 850 which is not worth at all. Total for two regular pop ones (one Caramel and one spicy) plus a regular coke cost us around 3500.

I've been to Audi 5 and 7. 5 is specifically for kids, while 7 seems to be a normal i guess. If you're going with your kids Audi 5 is the best, if not make sure to book another one, since you won't be able to hear clearly because of the shouting of kids ;-). Either way you'll get a luxury cinematic experience. Great customer service, they'll bring your ordered food and beverages up to your seat.

International level Cinema Sounds, seating, cafe, washrooms all are perfect. But buying tickets online was not an easy task. Customer service guy directed for a app but that app doesn’t work with apple phone. Recently I watched Barbie movie with my kids. Should introduce user friendly online ticket service. Apart from that issue all others are excellent. Hence highly recommend this cinema.

Big selection of food and drink, but very expensive compared to other cinemas in Colombo. Ticket price Rs 1500 for the movies we went for.Regular popcorn Rs 1450 and soft drink Rs 950. The theaters are clean and well maintained. From the entrance to the auditorium everything was clean and well kept. The lobby has a seating are and several counters for tickets. Staff is helpful. Seating is comfortable. Screen size and the sound quality was great. Would definitely visit again and would recommend to anyone who is looking for a digital movie experience.

First of all its luxury experience so dont compare this with liberty. However sound quality is lower than CCC dolby atmos and screen brightness to contrast ratio also low. Also mini theater. Food is very high price but delicious. Seats are very comfortable but you cant change or press down the arm rest. Overall great but ill put CCC dolby atmos as 1st choice

Great cinema. However we were more impressed by the empathetic and great service from the manager Patrick and his team when we had an issue where we had a issue related to tickets and refunds. They went out of their way to solve our issue and also ensured we had a good time at the Playhouse. Look forward to taking the kids again.

They have cafes which offer a large range of food, such as pizza, burgers, sandwiches, hot and cool beverages, chips, french fries and so on. This theater feels like home.

The theater is clean, the seats are comfortable, and the staff is friendly. The movies look and sound amazing. However, the nachos don’t taste good at all, especially the “nacho cheese”, which doesn’t bear any kind of resemblance to the original nacho cheese. It was a weird hard mess of mayonnaise and some random spices.

The finish is very luxurious and the whole place has a soft, warm glow. The PVR playground cinema is meant for kids' movies and has cute animals and patterns all over the walls and sides. There is even a tunnel with a ballpark on the side. The seats are brightly coloured and recline (just lean back).

Theatre is world class! Sounds and Seating were perfect! Lost one star due to not play the movie on time, excess advertising and movie trailers - they use to play these for 15-20 minutes! Hope they improve this and save audience time. Snacks were great and service was splendid keep up the good work
