If I had six stars to give, I would rate Sean and Amy at least that many. Actually, make that a seven or an eight out of 5 stars. Where do I even begin? When I decided to sell my unit, I knew nothing of how to go about the process. Sean and Amy insightfully, patiently, and expertly held my hand through the entire process (including disclosures, which I had previously dreaded), advised me on everything from listing price to counter-offer strategy, and most importantly handled every last detail in a timely, professional, and detail-oriented manner that exceeded my expectations. I could literally write an entire essay about how amazingly fast their talented crew of trades professionals arrived on-site, how well they managed the budget (even accounting in advance for any overages, and staying under that amount!), and how they went above and beyond the call of duty every step of the way (from driving keys to provide access for the workers to fronting their own personal cash for misc. expenses). They kept me appraised of the timeline, stayed on schedule, and (true story) when they sent me the photos of the finished, staged unit it honestly took me a few minutes to grok that it was my old unit. Then when it was time for the sale itself, they were terrific in their interactions with all the neighbors, kept me updated on all the marketing efforts, and sent me text messages after every single open house with an assessment of the event. When it was time to work through the offers they had actually been able to talk not only with the various buyers' agents but also with their lenders in order to understand the most value-added way to craft a counter-offer. I mean, first, whoever knew there was an art to crafting counter-offers? And second, whoever expected their agents to know all the lenders in the city and be able to get insight on what matters to their clients most? We just sold our 3 bed/1.5 bath condo in the Inner Sunset with Pacific Edge, and couldn't be happier with the way it worked out. Alec and Amy were an absolute pleasure to work with. Initially, thought of selling a house during Covid/quarantine gave us serious pause, but we desperately needed more space for our overgrown family and decided to take the leap. We worked with Alec to buy our first home! We had very specific requirements of what we wanted and location, so it took about 5 months to find and close on the right place. Alec was very patient, he learned quickly what we were looking for and even tried to talk us out of seeing place that he thought would not meet our criteria. The place we decided to buy turned out to be a tricky transaction. Not only was it a TIC, we also needed the seller to do some work as part of the closing contingencies. Alec shined in a number of ways. -- He went over the TIC agreement with us bullet by bullet and highlighted sections that we should really understand. -- He connected us to a lawyer specializing in TICs who also gave some great advice. -- He put us in touch with a draftsperson to measure the square footage. -- He helped us negotiate the price based on the above findings. -- He joined us on countless meetings with the seller to go over and review the work. The thing that struck me the most was how Alec really kept our interests at the forefront during the whole process. At one point, when we were already in contract for the home, he pulled me aside and said "We don't really have to go forward with this if you don't think it would work for you. Don't feel obligated to do it just because we're far along." It ultimately worked out great, and we're so thankful for having Alec guide us along the way. One other thing I'd add is that Alec is knowledgeable in all aspects of real estate. When we were looking at a different home which would have required a decent bit of work, we got on a zoom with him and he was able to give ballpark estimates for how much various things would run. It was helpful to put all the numbers into a spreadsheet and understand how much more we'd need to invest. We ultimately decided not to go forward with that place, thanks to Alec's expertise.

Amy and Alec are the best - highly professional, polished and knowledgeable from the very first meeting. From the first presentation of their proposed selling strategy to providing advice for interior updating and to the final sale, it was clear they always had our best interest in mind and always a step ahead of our questions. They managed all the interior work and landscaping with contractors and designers which was such a relief since we had moved an hour away with our 1-yr old. The updated house was gorgeous. All this while Alec had a newborn child and just as we were ready to market, a global pandemic shut everything down in mid-March. No open houses, no appointments with lockboxes, nothing. They immediately took action to purchase equipment to produce a virtual 3D and a recorded guided tour and re-worked the pricing strategy for the new market reality. They provided an online Q&A for serious buyers agents and we received multiple offers, closing in May. Did I mention this was during a global pandemic?! Buyers provided offers having NEVER SEEN the actual house. They are nimble, flexible and sharp thinkers. I honestly don't know if anyone else would have been able to get our house sold in such an environment at above list price with minimal delays. We can't recommend them enough. We never felt the need to hound them for updates or make sure our house was still top of mind for them. They guided us, never pushed one way or another. Listened to us (didn't want to delay going to market by waiting out the sheltering) and acted accordingly. You will not regret choosing Amy/Alec to buy or sell your home. Believe me when I say I don't normally have my high expectations met but this team exceeded them.

I had worked with Amy 10 years ago, she was great back then, so I reached out to her again last year, 2020 to search for a new house. She is just plain incredible! Both times, I was able to get the best price that the place could offer, not a dollar more!!! I actually got to know Amy because she was able to found a short-sale unit for my previous roommate for 50% of what it was sold for at SOMA in SF (back in 2009); surely, she continued to wave her magic wand and got me my dream places, even though it's 10 years apart! The most important thing is that Amy never gave up, even when I almost did. She spent as much time as I needed to look for places. My first condo took us 6 months and our second house took us 9 months! I seriously was half-given-up and it's Amy that alerted us the listing and dragged my feet to the place that finally became "the one". I had worked with an agent that said to me, "...just pick a place already! No one will plan on staying at the same place for 30 years..." on the 5th place that we looked at; so I switched to Amy. Gosh, should've done it sooner!!! Amy is very pleasant to work with and her knowledge about real estate is excellent! She gives you honest opinion and guides you every step of the way so that you can completely trust her either as a buyer or a seller. As a buyer, it is extremely competitive in Bay Area, not to mention during the pandemic lock-down period. I just can't believe that we were able to not only get one, but also a great one and closed in March 2021 without making ridiculous amount for an offer! Anyone can throw more money and get a house here, but you won't have to if Amy is your agent; just like us.

Why do they only allow 5 stars? Amy deserves more.... I recently worked with Amy on a new condo purchase and can't say enough great things about her. I don't think I've met a more motivated person, and certainly not a more motivated agent. From the start, Amy was on top of everything and made the entire process seamless. It seemed like every day she was contacting me to view a new listing and discuss updates - to the point I felt bad she was spending so much time trying to help me. Once I found the place, Amy was instrumental in helping me decide the offer price (it was a multiple bid situation). She never pushed me in one direction or the other, just gave her expert opinion on low/high range. She also shared some secrets to help in this situation (you'll have to work with her to find out!) that were vital in helping me win. She gave me all the tools to make the most accurate pricing decision possible. I also recall Amy going above and beyond while helping me look over the disclosures for the property. There were some question marks/missing details and Amy went out of her way to solve. Literally, I think she called Gov. Brown's office in Sacramento to find the answers. Not something I ever would have expected, but it's just the way she is. I'm a very tough critic and hold extremely high standards (think angry Boston guy). I'm also a broker (in a different industry) and know what it takes to succeed. Amy has all the qualities (and then some), and did nothing but exceed my expectations in every possible category. I hold Amy in the highest regard and would recommend her unconditionally.

We chose Alec and Janelle at Pacific Edge Real Estate Group to sell our home in Spring '22. We interviewed several other agents we found online and through family referrals. The other agents were top notch but based on the quality of Alec's marketing, their approach to answering questions, quality of staging partner, and providing data to support their recommendations, we felt they were most confident in achieving the highest sales price presented out of all we spoke to. This review is long overdue. We worked with Alec to purchase our house in Forest Hill in 2016 and he was absolutely incredible to work with. Let me rewind - we started our home buying process by looking on Trulia and getting "matched" with a random agent. We went to a few house tours with said agent and, by the third or fourth house, it became immediately clear that he was more interested in his outfit-du-jour than helping us find our first home. We quickly moved on from agent one and continued the process on our own with the help of the MLS. Pacific Edge and Alec Mironov did an absolute top rate job in selling our property. He began by informing us that the market was declining fast and that the Holiday (slow sales) season was coming up quickly. The return on investment was double what we would put into fixing up the house.
