We had such an amazing time at Park Güell in Barcelona! The best part? No waiting around to get in—definitely recommend snagging your tickets online a day before. Trust me, it makes everything smoother. Once inside, the place just blew us away. Antoni Gaudí's whimsical designs are like stepping into a fairy tale. The mosaic sculptures and cool architecture tell their own stories, and we couldn't get enough of it. Tip: comfy sneakers are a must. We wandered around, exploring different trails and viewpoints, and it was all worth it, especially the terrace with those killer views of Barcelona. Oh, and don't forget your water—it's a lifesaver, especially if the sun's out. The mix of nature and art at the park creates this chill vibe, making it a top-notch spot in Barcelona. Seriously, Park Güell is a gem that lets you escape into a world of imagination and beauty. Totally worth checking out!

Overrated park, probably another way to make money from tourists. Queues everywhere you go to. If you want to visit the houses inside you have to queue and pay extra. The view of the city from the top is amazing, but you can enjoy the similar views by not entering the park. Unfortunately there is nothing much to see in the park. The directions are not that great. I wouldn’t say that you can get lost, but proper maps would be useful. The water in the park cost 4 euros. I think beer is cheaper than a bottle of water. I wouldn’t advise of walking to the park. Take a cab or bus to get to the top. Otherwise, by the time you going to reach it you will be exhausted. I’d be honest, there are better parks out there where you don’t have to spend money to enter. There was nothing special for me.

The park is rich in trees and clean. No map is provided at the entrance. It was suggested to use the app. Routes are not all suitable to pass from if you have a stroller or wheelchair. There is a slope at the beginning and a good number of steps are to be taken to visit and access the whole park. In my opinion I think it should be free to go inside. There are no animals so far. I saw only pigeons and three small parrots flying around. The restaurant inside was fully packed and the service is slow and the servers needs attention. Food is not expensive however the portions are small. It would be wiser to take a packed lunch with you. Take a good walking shoes and non slippery.
Lavabos
Only 1 set of restrooms at the exit area.

Another place that was amazing and inspiring and photos do not do it justice! I will post it but you have to see it and experience it with your eyes! If you are in Barcelona you have to see this. The mind of Gaudi is amazing and unfathomable how he had this in his head and was able to execute it!? We had advance tickets and arrived when it opened which worked out great. We were there about 3 hours and walked 3 miles. Be prepared! By the time we left it was packed! And this is the end of the season! I cannot imagine how busy it was a month ago! Do it! Enjoy it! Watch the video presentations at various stops.

This park is really beautiful and has great views of Barcelona. It is uphill to walk to it and there is a lot of uphill, walking and stairs in the park so if you’re not ready for that, it may not be worth going. I thought my ticket included access to, one of the houses on the property but apparently it did not. They do have a QR code where you can purchase an entry to the house on site however, the phone signal and Wi-Fi is very poor. Unfortunately, we ended up missing out. The landscape architecture and the Gaudi buildings are beautiful, it’s really just a place to walk and taken the greenery and views

Fabulous park in Barcelona. Great project by a legendary architect Antoni Gaudí. 10€ per ticket was a great price for what we got. We came early in the morning so there wasn't that many tourists. Most of them just took a photo from the main staircase and left anyway. That means that rest of the park was relatively empty, which was wonderful. You can really wonder around for hours. To make it even better every once in a while there's a musician performing. 5/5 ⭐

We visited the park on Sunday. The park, especially the area with the houses and sculptures, was completely packed with long lines to enter the inside of the houses. The area is beautiful, but it's hard to enjoy yourself with such a crowd. It's probably better to visit another house of Gaudi and skip the park. Another problematic issue is the restrooms which are not very clean. The park's "regular" area isn't really noteworthy, so coming here only for it isn't worth the extra effort.

I have wanted to visit the Park for some years and unfortunately following recent foot surgery I couldnt enjoy the experience - however - after walking up the steep hill with several Stops for a sit down I managed to get to the top and what can I say,the views were spectacular. The beautiful weather made it possible to see for miles . Downside I felt there should have been at least one station selling water on the way up - but the afternoon was very enjoyable looking at Goudi’s work

  • Amy T

Worth it - would recommend going inside, it’s a huge park and there’s lots of beautiful views! There doesn’t seem to be restaurants or food stalls inside so would recommend bringing your own food. It’s easy to get lost in the park so would recommend taking a picture of their map at the entrance so you don’t miss any part of it! Each part is very different from hiking trail to antique houses to large areas with palm trees!

It is a beautiful park and huge, i got myself lost twice and head back to entrance because security thought i was trying to get in from residence access do not go too up there, you might get yourself lost in the forest. Even though i had a silly experience, i really loved the park, beautiful and super cool. Perfect spot to take stunning photos

For me the place is a little overrated. But you can plan to visit if you have an extra day in Barcelona. We took the public transport to reach here, which was quite convenient. there are multiple gates to enter the park, so depending on where you enter from, you should plan your tour of the park so that you can cover all attractions of the park. In summer, you should visit early in the morning (around 9:30 am) or late evening.

  • Nataliya Podolska

It's a beautiful park. I was very lucky with the weather on the day I visited. I recommend to bring water and a small snack. In the park I didn't see where you can buy water, that's a minus. And another minus, not clean restrooms and a big line there. But it did not spoil my opinion about this place. I recommend to spend half a day in the park. You have chance to listen wonderful music from an unknown guitarist.

  • Elitsa Donkova

This park is incredibly beautiful. It has a great view of the city. The gardens are unique, they transport you as if in a fairy tale. Every detail is beautiful. Only the organization is a bit strange - once you enter the terrace, you don't have the option to return to the gardens, but you have to go back to the central entrance and go around the whole park to come back and look at them too. A quaint place!

  • Vittorio Tempesta

Definitely a nice place if you like nature and if you want to have a pleasant walk. There are a couple of spots with an excellent view of Barcelona. I would recommend going if you are planning to stay for more than just a weekend. Otherwise, there may be more interesting sites to visit.

Park Güell. €10 admission, entry best bought online. A very beautiful park that's worth the extra effort. Unwittingly came on the day of a national holiday and found the place packed. Best to plan accordingly if you want to enjoy the place in a more peaceful and self-paced manner.
Parc infantil
Playground at the upper portion of the park. Nice touch for the public to enjoy.

I could spend an entire day here. Although it’s very crowded still even with the entrance fee nowadays there are still corners of the park that are quiet. Just get out of the busy center part and discover the far corners and different levels. One thing I was very grateful for was that they allowed my elderly dad to pay a visit to the bathroom while we were still waiting in line.

  • Nathalia H

It’s always a breathtaking experience coming here. As an architecture student it’s one of my favorite places to go. I definitely advice a guided tour and you will get to know all the details about this magical place instead of just going yourself and take a lot of photos. Take your time and walk around not only the colorful part of it but also the raw earthy side of the park.

  • Steve Keefe

We went in the fall so the vegetation was not as spectacular as it would be during spring and summer. Supposedly we went to the "best" entrance but it still seemed we spent the first 20 minutes walking up a steep incline. Luckily the rest of the trip was downhill. There were many memorable sights to see during our visit and I would recommend visiting if you have the time.

  • Apurva Nataraj

We had a local take us through the park and its important sights. We were here around sunset and ended up getting some great lighting as we hiked through the beautiful columns, the mosaics and sculptures. Whether you want to take in the history, the freshness, the quiet away from the city, or just walk around, this place has it all to provide a relaxing atmosphere.

  • Aris P

Is really a masterpiece. Every corner, every inch is unique. Very very impressive structure and worth visiting. Actually is a MUST visiting place in Barcelona. I recommend to have a tour guide with you to explain the hidden futures of the structure and the engineering behind it. Book your tickets in advance!
Lavabos
There are multiple restrooms in the place

  • Leah Blem

A lovely spot with a beautiful combination of architecture and beautiful mature trees and plants. There is a lovely balance between paved areas that are accessible and easy to explore, as well as more mountainous paths and even picnic areas. Beautiful views too. I think the staggered entry is a great policy for ensuring that the park isn’t too crowded.

  • Jonathan Borges

An excellent option for a place to visit when you go to Barcelona, you can enter for free if you register on the website. I recommend trying to register at least two days before going as it can take up to 2 days to get your registration approved. After receiving approval, you need to enter and request a ticket to visit. ticket valid for the whole day .

  • Graham Cobley

Huge site and a long, hot, uphill slog to walk to from central Barcelona. Would definitely get a taxi if you can! There are interesting areas in the park, but much of it I didn’t find particularly interesting. The view from the upper parts overlooking Barcelona are incredible, if it’s a clear day take your binoculars. Very busy, booking is essential.

  • Irina ...

It's a large, beautiful park so wear comfy shoes. Not asking for ID and they did not check time on tickets. You can see views of the city, dancers or musicians, there are a lot of parrots on the trees. Amazing architecture of the park, benches, houses etc. Park worth money. You can bring your own food/drink or buy it in the cafe. Park worth money

  • P Vega

I liked the park but if you want to know more in detail I would suggest a guided tour. If you are on your own it is hard to navigate and know where you are going. There are lots of stairs so be ready. It was beautiful though definitely a must see if you are in Barcelona
Zona de pícnic
You can bring food and have yourself a picnic

  • Lloyd Smyth

Beautiful views over Barcelona, incredible artistry, design and architecture. Relatively cheap entry. Highly recommend going at sun down/golden hour…magnificent scenes! If you’re doing a running tour, you can even get a few laps in at quieter times with plenty of elevation gain! Entry is quite cheap too. All round winning tourist stop.

  • Joy Alvarez

This park is just so incredibly unique and beautiful. I could have wandered around there all day. The park itself is cool enough, but it also provides some spectacular views of the city. There was a flamenco performer and musician there when we went. The park can get crowded and tickets sell out, so be sure to reserve in advance

  • TOO MUCH MICHAEL

I was only able to take pictures from outside because once we arrived, they were sold out of tickets for the day. However, you can see quite a bit of the park from outside and it did not seem as if there were that many people inside, but it is quite beautiful. I only wish I was able to go inside and see the view from the top.

  • Nikolai Nikolov

One of the best parks around of Europe. A lot of architecture masterpieces from Gaudi. Hundred percent must to visit. You must have at least 4 hours for organized and brief walk around to feel the place and to remember it. If more better. Kind a boring for teens. Pretty correct solar clock can be seen in one of the buildings.

  • Isabel Sánchez

One of my very favorite places in Barcelona. Now you need to buy a ticket and try to do it in advance since we went on a week day and it was sold out! Good thing we bought our tickets days before our visit. But it’s still as amazing as I remember

So beautiful! Definitely get tickets in advance. I waited too long and ended up having to do a tour in order to get in. I really enjoyed the tour and the overall scenery. The cafe was super crowded, as was the main bathroom. Worth it though! Also, there are multiple entrances so make sure you go to the correct one! Més

  • Rosanna Sánchez

This is a must in Barcelona! What an amazing park! The lovely views and incredible architecture make it a must-go-to place. Make sure to get tickets ahead of time and be there at the time marked on your tickets. This park has a limit on how many can be there at a time. You will not regret going!

Th park is huge. It’s relatively cheap to visit and worth it. Here are some tips to remember, u might need to go up to small hills so, get ready for that. Also, they won’t allow any snacks/food inside. So, just go there with a bottle of water. It’s beautiful and perfect representation of the city’s history.

  • Kristo Gushi

A nice point of attraction. Make sure to book in advance for the tickets because the line is to long at the door. Plan that you need 3-4 hours to visit the park. I don’t suggest going on rainy days. Around the park there are artists dancing and singing creating a great atmosphere. The ticket is 10 euros.

  • Shelley Magnezi

In order to appreciate the history and the stories behind the structures you need a guided tour. Besides the Gaudi structures the vegetation was mostly trees and shrubs. Barcelona experienced a drought and this may be why there were no flowers
Lavabos
There was a line, and the restrooms were clean

  • Chi Kit Wong

It is a shame a 'park' is being turned into a tourist attraction with gated entry. Would've been the perfect place to spend a sunny afternoon if not for i) the traveling time/cost ii) ticket costs, and iii) dealing with massive crowds Manage your expectations and you might have an enjoyable experience

  • Oana duplea

A wonderful experience, slightly different than almost 20 years ago when I saw it for the first time as you need to pay an entrance fee and most importantly you must book in advance as it sells out easily. A different type of park where the nature gets Gaudi's touch. Highly recommended.

  • Yauheni Leaniuk

This park can sold out at noon. So you should check if tickets are available before climbing up to one of entries. Park is great, but Sagrada Familia, old town, National Museum of Catalonia, Temple of the Sacred Heart of Jesus should be in priority before visiting this park

  • Jorge Ramirez

Absolutely beautiful. I was lucky enough to get an amazing tour guide that was very informative about the history and the just everything about the place, but you don’t need a tour guide to discover the beauty in this place.
Lavabos
There are restrooms near the back

  • John Witchell

Parakeets flying round above your head, all the mystic of a Gaudi-designed garden and beautiful plants everywhere. Fantastic But be warned, on a hit day, all the steps, both up and down, can take their toll. Bring or buy a drink from the kiosk outside to stay comfortable.

  • Seda Guner

Don't pay 10€ to see! Walk to the lower exit (in the Park Guell bus stop) you can see all famous buildings and statues. Not worth 10€ to see few buildings. You can't see not even a small part of the park without paying money. And it's too crowded to take good pictures.

  • Brendan F

A beautiful, peaceful park that is filled with art, wonderful views of the city, and plenty of space to stroll. Every section of the park has something to look at and enjoy. Very clean and well maintained. A place that needs to be experienced while you’re in Barcelona

  • Gaurav Mehta

A lovely place for an evening we'll spent. Pros: 1. A huge park in the middle of Barcelona 2. Many sections in the park depicting different flora & fauna and activities Cons: 1. Reaching here = climbing many steps and steep slopes; however it is worth every single bit

  • Matthew Vik

Fun place to walk about. Definitely original in design. If you are on the lookout for a "Gaudi experience" this place is a must see. Just one thing. Book your tickets online in advance - they are often sold out on a daily basis as there are quite large crowds here

  • Arkadiusz Jędrzejewski

The park is definitely worth visiting. Tickets can be purchased online. In the park, there is a Gaudí museum, but this one requires an additional fee. There is also a small exhibition in one of the houses situated right next to the main entrance and the gift shop.

  • Elizabeth Tan

Recommended to take a bus up as it’s a steep climb. This would have been a 5/5 if not for the fact that there was too much crowd and people jostling for prime photo spots. Maybe late afternoon or sunset timings may have less crowd as I went in the early morning.

  • Paula Chance

Beautiful park, with amazing architecture and fantastic views of the city, all the way out to the see. Costs £10 to get in, then you have to pay extra if you want to go to the Gaudi house. Worth the trip if you want to get a bit of nature in with you city trip.

  • John Abrahamson

Quirky place. Beautiful..buy tickets in advance. Also, plan for all of the hills, if you walk there and back. Depending on which direction you're coming from, there may be very steep hills or hundreds of stairs. The architecture is beautiful. Don't miss it.

Large park on the outskirts of Barcelona. Some parts quite steep so go to the upper gate and walk down. Contains buildings and features designed by Gaudi, including the impressive gate keepers cottage. Allow a couple of hours for a full exploration.

  • Semih

Its a nice park with good views and lots of green and not too expensive at around 10 euros. Very busy which can make taking nice pictures hard. The only negative thing about it is the way up there, the closest metro is 15 min walking and its uphill.

  • İzel

Unfortunately it is very crowded. There are no signs telling you which way to go. you have to walk a lot and you can't be sure you got everywhere. Gaudi's other houses are more striking architecturally. still worth a visit. You should spare 2 hours.

  • Pong Lenis

It was very busy when we went, I would recommend buying the tickets online or advance before you go. Was lovely to walk around and see the beautiful architecture and area. I would definitely recommend checking this park out if you’re in the area.

Really beautiful park set in the heights above Barcelona, with Modernista follies and architecture. We spent a lovely couple of hours wandering around exploring its sights and the views over the city.
