The one and only downtown casino located in Vancouver. Associated with hotel and Riverside. The BC place every night and Rogers Arena. The casino itself seems to be doing pretty good business particularly on Friday Saturday and Sunday evenings. It’s quite packed also around the time of Canucks games it’s also super full as there is almost direct attachment between the Hockey arena and the casino. There’s a wide selection of electronic games, including video poker video back read, and of course the one armed bandits. There’s a poker room which is also full all the time. The third floor has Bacharach mainly and some table games. Usually there is a single craps table that starts opening at 7 PM. There’s several roulette tables on the second floor with some video roulette close by as well, and there is a lot of variations of 21 located scattered throughout the casino. Overall, it’s quite clean and bright and they were generally moved all of the Covid restrictions now. There’s bars on both the second and third levels and there’s Apple room to move around. The dealers, dice people and pit. Bosses are generally very knowledgable and friendly. There’s not much pressure to play or to play quickly for the most part. You can always change tables and there’s a spectrum of experience at the casino. The clientele varies quite a bit but for downtown location there’s lots of young people around as well as the standard old dog casino regulars. In terms of eateries, there’s fast food eateries a bar kitchen, a Chinese kitchen, and what used to be fine dining. There’s also private rooms for the high rollers on third floor. if you were a whale, then there is good hosting services. Parking is underground an ample although I can’t believe that I can Cito makes you pay to park in their underground parking. If you register your car as a Casino guest, you don’t have to pay, but it is a pain in the butt to log this each time you go to the casino. It’s a problem with the casino is that I don’t seem to win whenever I come here. However, will still come again. Close to everything downtown.

I was here for a conference and I loved the food and attention to detail the parq catering and staff put into the event. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The scrambled eggs perfectly cooked with some cheese and butter for extra taste. They had gluten free options and vegetarian options. Coffee and tea sections were great. Because of covid the buffet had a designated staff helping the guests plate their food. Amazing job! The lunch was sit down and they could accomodate dietary restrictions. Salad and lentil appetizers, Chicken and potatoes main, and a chocolate mousse dessert with white and milk chocolate and macaron. After the conference they had alcohol and a bartender in the middle of the floor. With small bites. All and all I've been to 3 of these conferences at Parq and I look forward to the service and food by Parq catering/staff the most! Washrooms were always clean. Everyone was reminded to wear their masks. They had hand sanitizer everywhere. To get to the conference level, you must go to the elevator and press CF. A casino is attached to Parq. Honey and salt is their restaurant; newly opened. And they have a bar/lounge here as well. Good place for wedding, bachelor or bachelorette party, big groups, parties, dining. Modern. Located in downtown Vancouver, off expo blvd. Lyft, Uber, and taxi available. Public transit 10 minutes walk to/from stadium chinatown station on the Expo line.

Great location with free parking which makes your visit start out great. Large gaming floor with a large selection of games to play both dealer based and electronic. Facilities are clean for the most part but can be lacking during peak hours. The restaurant has an okay menu allowing you to choose from some basics but it would be nice to see a few more options. The quality of the food is good however the portion size is small compared to the value / price you are paying. I love that they provide you with a little dish of popcorn while you wait to order! The restaurant staff are friendly however I found that the other staff such as the floor staff, etc were not very approachable and welcoming. I also noticed that security at the entrance does not even welcome you so all in all the customer service is extremely poor. I also noticed there does not seem to be much security presence at peak operation hours so during these times it can be very rowdy both inside and outside the front doors so I would say safety is a concern during these times.

The hotel I have stayed at 5-6 times this year. Twice I left with bed bug bites and there was dust on the bed. Their cleanliness has gone down after Covid. During Covid and pre Covid it was great. The hotel check in staff does not coordinate well with the casino VIP concierge. There is always a miscommunication on the type of room booked and check in process takes much longer because of it. The casino VIP concierge consultant (Sukee I believe) stops responding to texts, rooms are never available when you ask her. but when you book through other consultants they always try to accommodate. We use to play and stay the night there atleast once every few months, but since the casino vip service staff is so not helpful, we go to the Richmond casino instead.

This was our first time at this restaurant. During pandemic restrictions you enter the main hotel lobby and veer right for restaurant check-in near Honey Salt. They will point you forward down the hall to take the elevator to the 6th floor. You have to walk a bit through hotel and then outdoors to access the restaurant but lots of clear signage to direct you. The restaurant is such a lovely setting, inside or on their patio. We dined outside as it was a nice evening. I felt I was transported away in a sunny resort, looking at a water pool scene and beach umbrellas. We enjoyed their supper club menu and had their onion and cheese bread-warm, kale salad-tasty, steak-perfectly cooked medium rare and dessert-creative. Fantastic meal and great service.

I went to this casino after a canucks game and I was have trouble getting the card they gave me to work so I went to get help and I have a disability so my first thought is going to go ask for help. So I approach a staff member and I didn’t realize that I wasn’t supposed to be behind the table I was just looking for help. So there rude staff pushed me away instead of being polite about it and patrons were telling me to get the f out. I had no idea I was trying to get help. Then the manager accused me of swearing at the staff. I have never felt so disrespected before. They have no respect for there patrons the staff is rude. They are rude to a person with a disability and they say there values are community and respect.

3 stars but only 1 spin away from 6 stars. Yes I said 6 stars people. Let you know when said spin happens. Overall it's an average casino attached to an expensive hotel. Would love to hear about what others think or from the staff / management about what makes the Parq casino special? Maybe I'm just missing something. A better review may come should I get a response or info on what I missed. maybe??? One particular female bartender was very nice. She put in the extra effort and was easy to talk to. Also knew her NFL football ! Cheers to her!

The pinkhaired young asian server at the Parq Casino has to be the worst server I’ve witnessed. Not only does she not know which patrons ordered what, she picks the most inopportune moments to try and get your attention. She cannot wait 5 seconds for a poker hand to be finished before trying to get everyone’s attention and asking who ordered what. She tops it all off with a snobby, snarky, rude attitude. Would not recommend this server, please hire a new and better one, Prq you can do better than this.

The Hotel contracts out the parking to Indigo parking. The parkade signage is strategically designed to maximize Indigo parking ticket income . I paid $12 to park in an area that seemed clear , there are small signs when you enter from light to dark its difficult to see and navigate the underground . End result , a $65 parking ticket . I cannot stay on a property like this again , its not the money , its seems shady cash grab in the parkade. Thanks for reading .

This is one of the worst casinos I have ever played at. Do not go to this casino! BCLC blocked them after discovering what was happening. Do not make yourself vulnerable to the problems at this casino. In my opinion, this casino has major game play integrity problems with patrons openly engaging in plain sight cash side better which is alleged to be influencing the action and a violation of the BCLC / province regulations. Stay away from this casino!

Worst virtual roulette machine is have ever seen. Looks like they are living in 19th century where the screen is always buffering. Duration of one spin from beginning till the next spin is almost 3-4 minutes. People visit other casinos, i am sure if you play virtual roulette, you will get impatient because of hell low speed of a single round and buffering screen, you will end up losing everything. NOT AT ALL RECOMMENDED.

I loved my conference and three night stay at JW Marriott Parq. Very fresh, modern (brand new) property, very well appointed and comfortable room. Lots of amenities on site which I wasn't able to fully experience. My highest praise for the staff - from the front door, to front desk, servers and greeters - every single one was pleasant, professional and warmly engaged. I was so impressed! Highly recommended.

It's a place where dreams are shattered. A place where they make their most money off of addicts. A place where sad faces are found. Those slot machines are made to entice you. They have zero percent payout so you will be extremely disappointed. They don't like this kind of reviews, last time they begged me to it down. No sir, not this time.

  • Nigel Fish

I commend the valiant efforts of the brave security who were willing to defy the lack of common sense in the other security and allow our party, despite having purchased alcohol on one floor, to be transported to another floor by way of an elevator. Truly a Heroic move that will not soon be forgot by those looking to gamble.

Free parking on P2 if you use your Encore Rewards Card within the Casino, I love when I put my money in my favourite machine and come out with more! Great experience! The staff were super helpful, I lost my rewards card and they helped me get a new one right away and updated my license plate on my card.

  • ivan usow

The place sucked my a hole , they were rude and arrogant and refused to payout my lottery ticket winn on the excuse that the signature on my ID was different then the one on the ticket . Not nice at all . On top of that they made me go to the metro town bclc in order to get paid . What a pair of losers.

One of my favorite weekend hangouts. All the restaurants are good. Great happy hour daily at Centro bar. Good selection of machines for slots. Duelling pianos on the weekend is fun to watch n be a part of. D6 bar on the 6th floor is one of the slickest places in Vancouver. I love this space.

  • Scott

Absolutely stunning view as seen. Sunrise is incredible. The staff here are warm, welcoming and attentive. The rooms are beautifully appointed and full of wood which is warm and inviting. Fresh and crisp smells greet the nostrils and soft sheets & towels meet the body. I highly recommend.

  • Alireza Kazemi

The lady at the freedom lynn valley who helped us was the most dishonest person. She just wanted to sell the sim cards to us and any questions we asked she said i dont know call customer service. Why is she working at freedom when she cannot answer a simple question. Very disappointing.

  • N Lissette

First and foremost Jenn and Jenna were the most amazing hosts to our group. They went above and beyond. The ambience was perfect and upscale, but not uptight. The food was delicious, along with the drinks. If I'm in town again I will go back. Thank you all for the amazing experience!!

Casino Parq is the only place where you can enjoy the Las Vegas lifestyle in Vancouver. Enjoy slots, tables, stay in the luxurious hotel, get married, host ticketed events, eat at the restaurants or make a reservation at D6 and make your night an unforgettable one.

Nice casino in downtown Vancouver. Good place to grab food or drink before or after hockey games. Good casino and chill place. Good late night food and noodle bar. D6 lounge is always a fun time. Casino is nice though. Huge place and new so it's nice and luxurious

The pink hair server IS GOOD LUCK. she is the best server I’ve ever had in the poker room. Every time I tip her for a drink, I would WIN my poker hand. I tested the theory and I ended up leaving with 10k. THE BIGGER THE TIP THE MORE YOU WIN TRY IT !!!! …

  • Denis Jacob

The casino looks clean and modern, but I didn’t find the selection of slot machines particularly interesting. The self-service coffee only poured water when I went. Be careful outside: someone in the smoking area spit over the rail and almost got me.

  • Moose “Moosehorn9” Horn9

In the heart of the Yaletown beside BC Place, stadium and Rogers Arena. A great place to make your hub in Vancouver. If you want to check out events, enjoy the casino and False creek. Minutes away in Granville Island and the Aquabus to get there.

  • Mark Reilly

The Casino finally is going in the direction of better music. They are trialing a DJ on Thursdays for a limited time only. This is so much better. Better music=people dancing=people drinking more=people staying at the casino longer, rather

A fun way to spend an evening! There was plenty of tables to play all sorts of games, and it’s in a fantastic location. All the spaces were clean and the staff were very respectful. I’m glad I went to this location, but I wouldn’t go again.

  • Ponda Baba

Always a fun time, but don't get addicted. Make sure you are only gambling with money you can afford to lose. Know your limit and play within it. Use your game sense. Definitely refrain from drinking because you will make bad decisions and

My new favorite Casino to play poker. They actually have open seats here, and a daily $90 tournament at 11:15am. Bigger buy in on Sundays. Friendly staff and players. First time here today and I took 4th in the tournament; I will be back.

  • Victoria Klippenstein

Excellent high tea and very competent friendly service. The atmosphere was calm, restful and spacious. There is a nice separation so you can sit away from the sports TVs. The couches are comfortable and inviting.

  • spencer lee

Came here to gamble, not a good variety of slot machines here, also tried to play blackjack, but it seems neither the dealers nor the pit bosses knew even basic strategy. The baccarat tables were poppin tho.

  • Jo L

A good, clean casino with a great selection of games. I just wished they'd reopen the Asian food market on the 2nd floor. Also the staff checking the IDs in front are always unfriendly, no matter the time.

  • Luc Dixon

A much more modern space in comparison to other casinos around the GVA; although, only downside is there aren’t many $25 minimum tables open on weekdays and on the weekends they are normally crowded.

  • Sarvesh Thustu

Casino has its royal touch. Crowded - it means the place gives money its run. Staff is really polite and nice. Lots of arcade to choose from and multiple live competitions run throughout.

  • kenton lionel

They have some decent live music on the weekends when I visit. There’s a good pub with excellent pub fare. I like the layout of the gambling area and the smoking balcony is awesome.

Not welcoming at all. Found the workers rude except there was 1 waitress who was amazing. Not friendly dealers or card dealers the table. Not recommended for beginners.

Fun to lose all your money The food at the bar/restaurant is good and drinks are a bit pricey. Can't say I like the 4.50 fee for the cash machines though. …
