Absolutely dreadful customer service for the past 3 days and will not be returning. For the past 3 mornings I have tried going into this bakery to get my breakfast and lunch. The first 2 mornings I was at the door at 7:45am and both times the doors were locked, even though the bakery is supposed to open at 7:30am. And on both occasions the staff inside would not acknowledge me. On my third and final attempt today (3/12/21) they actually opened on time but had NO sandwiches/rolls available and the only pastry options were a few meat sausage rolls. When asked if there was anything else available, a female member of staff with blonde hair abruptly replied "no." and that was it. It would make sense from a business standpoint to have more items available in the mornings to fulfill orders from the people going to work in the mornings. I will not be returning to this establishment

Just a bit of constructive criticism for the management, for the store in henleaze. Myself and a colleague have passed this store 2 days on the trot, and stopped in for a bacon butty and a coffee, and both times got turned away at 8am, because the bacon and sausage wouldnt be ready for half an hour. I understand the staff have lot to do in the morning, but its turning sales away. The store in fishponds usually have the bacon and sausages ready when the store opens. Also I bought a white loaf the other day from this store, and noticed it had tiny fibres in the bread, looks like it was baked into the dough. Other than that, love parsons, a great bakery. Fresh cooked breakfast sandwiches, on freshly baked bread. Great coffee and freshly baked delicious pastries. What's not to like.

Promised my son crunchy baguettes through uber eats from the Parson’s bakery. We were sent sandwiches which we did not like. You cannot do anything in such situation. You can claim money from uber eats but you must have fotodocumentation for which I really did not have time. Later I contacted the bakery management who send me “stupid” aplogetic email saying that action will be taken (Really?) but said she cannot help. How come she could not help? Regardless where I am supposed to have my money refunded it is their bakery and their fault. If it is me I would sent the right items for free + something more as an apology to keep the customer happy. My solution: never again with the Parson’s bakery.

Had a few just eats from here normally there good. I have a nut allergy and obviously if u order different food it comes separately packaged. My partner ordered some food plus 3 desserts(iced bun, fruit nut flapjack thing and a donut) I can't eat nuts but when it arrived they were all boxed together. Couldn't have my desserts as it would risk me eating a nut. This is ridiculous health and safety wise. Won't be ordering again if they are doing this to just save packaging, great way to care about your customers.

Missed breakfast this morning so popped into parsons for a coffee and cake! Really looking on the positive side of running late I get a tasty cake. I am giving this place a 3 star purely on the friendly staff and the average mocha. The cake how ever was horrendous, dry hard and I'm no scientist but had that tast you get from being in the fridge tail tail sign was the fact the cake/bun was cold not room temp. So basically I'm still hungry!!!!

Bought a bundle but there was missing item on delivery. When I called , the manager gave me a very stupid solution which was to place another order. I suggested I would place another order but I would want the missing item in my original placed order. She said no, she wouldn’t do that. Absolutely frustrating experience! On the pizza quality, it’s not good. Not worth it. You can get better pizza in the supermarket.

possibly the best veggie sausage roll I have EVER had, in 18 years of being vegetarian (fake meat, not vegetables), but they do wonderful thing with rosemary perhaps? staff are harried but nice enough. Bought a small sourdough, a pain au chocolat each, two sausage rolls and a pasty for around £10. Crossaints do seem to run out faster than the others.

Worst pizza ever had, no toppings or anything with pizza, if I want to eat bread, I can make myself. Not enough toppings. Waste of money. I was new customer to see the food, but this is very disappointing. Just to show they added some toppings, not worthy for money. Was cold and very dry. The pizza was so hard to chew and very dry.

Nice Parsons Store. Was a quick visit to pick up some treats for the kids and I was served quickly by a friendly and welcoming server. Level access to get into the store from the pavement. On street parking available on the High street. Clean and tidy store. Well stocked with delicious food and sweet treats.

Parsons is cheap and cheerful - you know what you're going to get! Nice coffee (they only have oat milk as an alternative so if you're coeliac you might have a problem). Bit misleading saying all their coffee is one priced when it actually isn't... Still, nice coffee, good service

The baguette are in fact soft white bread with a very industrial feel. I m not sure it should be called a baguettte, it is quite misleading. It’s a shame, however the buns and sausage rolls are good. I may not buy a bread again from them though as it is really disappointing.

  • Usman Nawaz

If you need to receive a delivery, I recommend avoiding them. The minimum wait time is approximately 20 minutes. It seems they employ a minimal staff despite handling a high volume of orders. I’m quite disappointed with the experience.

  • Andrew Tarr

If you advertise that you open at 0900 on a Sunday I should have be able to purchase a bacon baguette at 0910 ,not be told the bacon was not cooked yet.I suggest the staff member gets into work earlier

  • Rob Grieve

Great sausage rolls and pasties and good value sourdough bread.

Service swift Chain of independent bakeries local to the Bristol and surrounding local area Do drinks and a variety of savouries and sweet cakes Standard fare - fills the gap Nothing special

  • Gerry Lewis

Food good if not a little pricey. Sales assistants hands far from clean . Wearing jewellery on your thumb is not hygienic when handling the bread. Wear gloves, but wash hands first.

  • Sarah Hardwick

I visited last night and the team were incredibly helpful when I accidently ordered pizza's from the wrong shop. They went above and beyond to help me. Thank you Parson's Henleaze.
