Delicious and very Affordable thai. So nice to try lots of things. Duck, padthai, mango sticky rice. So quick as well for kids and opening hours are great. Becoming one of my sunday regulars. Penang Beef is the better of the currys :) boneless plumb duck is nice, but the squid dishes and noodles are my go to.

We have been take away fans for the last few years, but tonight was the first time we ate in the restaurant. The food was super tasty, as always, and the service was lovely. Booked the side room over a month ago for 23 people for food & Karaoke been before and it was good fun Then came lockdown & then new restrictions so we cancelled 2 days out (3 Dec) we had to the numbers were too low for it to happen but they changed again on the Friday so we rebook for the original night (5 Dec) but people had changed there plans & couldn't come we were down to 14 not the original 23 So we turn up to celebrate my wife and a friends birthday with bottles of wine 8 bucks corkage thinking this is going to be a good night only to be told as the mains come out you only have the room till 9pm & it was 8.10pm at the time & no karaoke the reason given there is not enough people (14) it has to be 20 we were never told this at any point through the booking process So thank you for spoiling 2 peoples birthday's

This restaurant was a true hidden gem. The food was authentic Thai, service was good and the prices very reasonable. But… something has changed recently; our last visit was decidedly ordinary food wise, but we put that down to possibly ordering the wrong dish. We were prepared to give them another try and ordered takeaway this time: sizzling beef, chicken pad ped, and pad Thai noodles. Apart from the very average noodles, the rest of the order was awful; certainly not Thai, more like KanTong. Dinner ruined, and we won’t be going back unless they get a chef that knows how Thai food should look and taste.

So I was in a Laska mood and when I googled Laska this place came up and it was close to me, so I came in to try it and I got the seafood one and it was tasty, but it wasn't the Laksa flavour I was expecting. It had a strong tumeric flavour and was closer to a sour flavour than sweet or chilli. It reminds me of a Vietnamese curry powder my dad's girlfriend brought over that she uses to make a chicken and potato soup, and it can be used in all sorts of dishes for any meat (including eel) Anyways nice place, I liked the colour in the water glasses but if you are craving a sweet and spicy Laksa, best try a different venue

Clean and trendy spot with excellent, attentive and welcoming staff. Really makes all the difference when a smile arrives with your food. And speaking of the food, this is the best Thai food in the South, and i don't mean south of Adelaide, I mean South of actual Thailand! The pork belly, pandan, choo chee chicken and basically everything else was fantastic. Afterwards I felt full and satisfied without that sick bloated feeling you get from lesser spots vying for the Thai food crown. Ignore the imitators, experience Paya Thai today, these guys are on point, support this business!

We have been coming to Paya Thai for over 4 years, which is worth the 40 minute round trip. We have taken lots of friends and family (from interstate too) and everyone always leaves impressed. The food is always fragrant and tasty. The service has always been 100%. We love that there is a seperate vegan menu which makes eating for all of us an inclusive event. This Thai restaurant is a hidden gem. It is located in a small shopping area opposite the Flagstaff Hotel. It is well worth a visit. Food provided is delicious and reasonably priced. Their lunch specials are a feature. These are also available on the weekend. We have had satay chicken, honey chicken, chicken with cashew nut and the chicken fried rice. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Try it. You will not be disappointed.

Their lunch special has the most affordable price which I rarely see nowadays. Portion is generous and their food taste good. Staff is so friendly. I have enjoyed their pad thai and crispy barramundi with apple salad. Will do dine in next time plenty of parking space in that area as well.

5 stars is not enough. I normally cook my own green Thai curry but tonight it seemed to hard. The dish we got from Paya Thai was unbelievably delicious! I have never tasted it soo good. With an additional dish of salt and pepper tofu, our tea was amazing. It was cooked quickly and still hot by the time we got it home. Thanks to the team at the restaurant. We will be back for sure!

Haven't ordered from this restaurant for over a year and the quality of the food has diminished significantly. Crispy squid and crispy chicken were soggy and not crispy. Squid was very over cooked. Fried Chinese rice was gross and not tatsy. Not the same quality that we are use to and love. Very disappointed with tonight's meal and won't be going back any time soon. FYI our meal was takeover, but so were our previous meals that were very good.

My partner and I came here for the first time on the weekend and we were so impressed! The staff were so accommodating finding us a place to sit with the pram and the food was outstanding. We had the Chinese fried rice, satay beef & the Choo chee chicken. Absolutely fantastic! Will definitely be coming back soon!

So dissatisfied and disappointed. The garlic prawns were completely tasteless and very watery. The Colliflower was brown (rotten) and the red prawn curry was watery and way to sweet. Ordered the Pad Thai and unfortunately they don't include on their menu that it includes peanuts cooked throughout at and I had an allergic reaction. Normally when I order food if it says it includes peanuts I ask to have it without peanuts due to my allergy but I wasn't even given a chance to avoid this. Extremely dangerous. Luckily my allergy isn't as severe as some people.

I have a chance to make my review about 4 weeks ago I ordered pork belly at this restaurant extremely very hot based with very hot chillies I asked why the owner said give me $10 I will get you something else because you have taken a piece off the corner he said cannot resell I could not believe it I give him $10 and went elsewhere makes me question

Staff friendly but not co-operative. Ordered a few times over 6 week period and have delivered wrong food in substituting tofu for chicken but still charging the extra. Also, delivered food at wrong time being approximately 1 hour incorrect. Called them several times but no satisfactory conclusion reached. Based on our experience would not recommend.

Another totally delicious meal for my birthday lunch with friends today. The Beef Thai Lemongrass was superb! The vegies were crisp and fresh and the beef tender with great flavours. Good wine list. Great service and a quality, spotlessly clean dining area. We will be back.

The food came out REALLY quick even though the restraint was busy. I ordered the Thai basil chicken and it was to die for! So flavoursome! I have had better chicken satay skewers though. They tasted just like a plain peanut sauce. My parter was impressed with the vegan menu and ordered salt and pepper tofu which he devoured! Great service too

I was hoping that this place would be our new local but it just wasnt meant to be. Had a curry and a sizzling dish the sauces on both where like water it was utterly disappointing. Very surprised with the average ratings this place has, mustn't be much competition in the area, fed a family of 4 for $80 and was let down, duck was dry, pinnaple and lyche with not much else made the dish way too sweet, everything was bland. Will keep looking for a decent Thai place in the area.

My partner and I went to check out Paya Thai on the recommendation of someone in the Adelaide Vegans Facebook group and had the most amazing experience! The food itself was incredible, easily the best Thai I've ever had and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely be back.

Possibly the best Laab Gai I've had in Adelaide. Will be back to try more. Update: Weirdest Green Curry I've ever had. This looks like someone put Shrek in a blender. It's fluorescent green. I'm pretty sure they used actual green food colouring instead of green chillies. Hard pass.

We last ate here a few years ago. Back tonight to take food home and we are so disappointed. Chicken is reconstituted minced something. The beef was the same, strange crumbling texture. A lot of food went to waste and it wasnt cheap. Not the usual appetising dishes we remember.

Was sad to see Kwik Stix by the hospital go, but when I found out this was here I was so excited. Same chefs, similar menu. Sizzling Mongolian beef is to die for. Slightly more pricier then before, however the shop layout is much nicer and newer/cleaner. Highly recommended.

I've been searching for a Thai place to be my new regular after moving back to Adelaide. Finally tried this place and love it. The food is tasty and the staff are friendly. Best of all, they make an awesome pad Thai, always the acid test for me. Will definitely be back.

As a dutiful daughter in law, I booked family to come for lunch today - thinking it was somewhere else (yes, I live way on other side of CBD). Food was exceptional, service amazing - right from booking and throughout the meal. 100% recommend.
