When I visited the Peace Bridge in Calgary, it was a beautiful structure that captivated me, especially in combination with the snowy landscape. The whiteness of the snow contrasted with the bridge's vibrant red color, creating a picturesque scene that I wanted to capture in photographs. Crossing the bridge allowed me to take in the surrounding scenery and be amazed by the beauty of Calgary. I enjoyed a peaceful stroll, feeling a sense of harmony with nature. Moreover, the Peace Bridge served as a gathering place for people to interact. I had the opportunity to meet locals and other tourists, making for enjoyable moments. Smiling and exchanging greetings, we shared cultural experiences and stories. Overall, the Peace Bridge embodied both tranquility and beauty, symbolizing the charm of Calgary. Visiting on a sunny day with snow-covered surroundings allowed me to have a truly wonderful experience.

Construction is underway, beautiful place at downtown of Calgary. Great destination and design. Must watch, do not miss while visiting Calgary. The Peace Bridge in Calgary is a well-known pedestrian bridge that spans the Bow River. It was designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and opened to the public in 2012. The bridge's unique design, with its sleek white structure and red accents, has made it an iconic landmark in the city. It serves as an important link for pedestrians and cyclists, connecting the downtown core with the neighborhood of Sunnyside. The Peace Bridge offers beautiful views of the river and surrounding scenery and has become a popular spot for leisurely walks and photography.

I think now it is under renovation however it is still open to the public . One of the most beautiful places in Calgary. I would recommend visiting the place in the evening to enjoy the vibe of Calgary city. The bridge is decorated with lights which is giving a mind blowing scene in the dark . No entry fees and easily accessible from Calgary city. Good place to spend time with friends, Family and Kids.

Great place to spend a nice evening. However when we visited they were doing construction as the glasses of the bridge were broken. But there were few street performer, ice cream trucks and the best part was neuron e bikes. Both my girls had a lot of fun. If you are in Calagary area highly recommended to visit. View of downtown in breath taking. Follow for more and check out the images and videos

After a long walk there, I found that the bridge was currently under refurbishment (Aug 2023). So it’s not beautiful at all. You may find railings on two side which blocks the scenery. You can still read the history and details of structure on the plates. They are explained in details. A lot of people at weekend. Many of them played electrical sccoters and bikes there.

This is one of the interesting places in Calgary which you must visit during your stay. The bridge is beautiful both in the day time and at night with lights. Stunning view from the bridge to the river + great photos having the bridge on the background. There is tableaux with the historic note about the place. You can continue waking to the nearest parks beside.

Peace Bridge is definitely a place to visit in Calgary Alberta. You will be fall in love with it’s uniqueness, colour & amazing structure. I recommend this place to everyone. Feel the love in the air, people gathered there to breathe some fresh air, sight seeing, physical activities and a good place to take some photos.

Piece bridge and princes island are a beautiful area. I visited to occupy my time while visiting from the states. I walked the parkway along the river and was welcomed by the beautiful scenery and squirrels. I'd definitely go back. It's a good place to decompress and enjoy a beautiful sunset.

Iconic Bridge over Bow River. They are doing some renovations on it currently but it's still popular for commuters and locals. I also love all the flowers on the south side of the river. So inviting. Definitely a nice place to explore, or even get into the river as many did!

Cool looking structure from the outside. However, at the time of our visit, the interior was under construction, so it was a bit of an eye sore. Definitely worth a stop to walk around and wander a bit soaking in the nice views around.

Lovely in the evening. You get such a beautiful sunset over the water. We rented a few scooters and took the bike path all the way to the edge of downtown!! It surprisingly goes very far. It’s a sweet ride along the water.

There are always events happening on weekends, and the walk along the river is beautiful. Have a walk or run along the river. There was a fold festival, a dog show on the day we visited.

Nice bridge and surroundings are great for summer activities. Though it was under maintenance when we visited but overall great fun. Downtown is also at walking distance.

Pedestrian Bridge with an interesting construction. At night nicely illuminated. To get a good view of the bridge climb up the wooden stairs to the Crescent heights.

We’ve just walk going to the bridge from our hotel. The bridge got steel baricade inside of it unlike before you can see the river on its side. Still nice though.

Construction was ongoing when I visited the bridge. It is hyped. I had difficulty finding parking near by. Bow river running through the city is beautiful though.

It was a very short walk. They are doing construction on the bridge so I recommend for you to go when it is complete... right now It is not too cute.
