I love shopping at Penningtons and my customer account can vouch for that. However, there are very few times I actually enjoy shopping in store at this location - trainyards (closest location to me). Over the years I have interacted with several employees majority of whom are pleasant, absolutely wonderful and helpful! But in the last year I've mainly interacted with two staff members (both tall females; one with salt and pepper bob cut, shoulder length hair and another with very short dyed red hair) - both act like they would rather do anything other than help me find a pair of shoes or answer a question about sizes, even if I'm the only person in store. But I have noticed how they interact with other customers and it's much more pleasant than with me. For that I rate this store 2 stars. Guess I'll stick to online shopping.

This was my first time at this location as their store moved places within the Train Yard layout. I went shopping with my sister as I was in need of undergarments and a swimsuit. I felt so lucky as they just happened to have a weekend sale going on at Penningtons unbeknownst to me. I was told that their weekend sales are Thursday to Sunday. At the back of this store, they had a few winter coats, another item that I had hoped to find while about shopping. I found all my items sought and got a bonus as I found a winter coat amongst their selection. Their staff were super friendly, kind, and helpful. Thank you, and keep up the great service.

The lack of customer service is ASTOUNDING. EVERY single time I walk into this store, there isn’t a single employee who greets me or says anything to me. They make eye contact and then walk right past me. SHOPPING IN STORE SHOULDN’T FEEL LIKE I’M SHOPPING ONLINE. As a plus size woman, I value and care about my shopping experience. For those of you who also share that sentiment, I WOULD NOT recommend this store. There are better places to spend your money that actually care about ALL of their customers.

I always get the friendliest service and the best help. I walk out with the biggest smile on my face and the biggest pride and gratitude towards the staff at Pennington . Thank you to everyone who has helped me at Pennington at trainyards location. Your dedication to your customers is amazing. I know that I appreciate it and I'm sure that everyone one that walks in those doors feels a little bit more special than they did when they did when they walked in. I know that I do every time I walk in.

The employees are always helpful and knowledgeable about the product! PENNINGTONS is my FAVORITE for plus size clothing because I've looked everywhere and no one actually knows the fits of the plus size body like this company does. My clothes fit and dramatically boost my confidence as a plus size woman. Penningtons has been my go to clothing store for over 10 years and Trainyards location always has lovely employees.

Had the worse service tonight at the store in Trainyards. I didn't get any service whatsoever. There were two women working and neither of them greeted me or asked if I needed a hand. Went back to the dressing room and tried things on and left after without so much as a single word said to me by either employee for the 15-20 minutes I was in the store. Just another reason for me to not shop at your store.

This is about the 4th time I.go and I have never been greeted, asked if I ever needed help finding something or when my arms are full of.clothes or even escorted to the changing room. I'm not very please with this lack of customer service, also the clearance rack was a complete mess and not even close to being organized by size. That's the last time I'm ever stepping foot in this place !

Wish the staff were more accepting. I’ve been to this location multiple times and the staff look me up and down and don’t help me. Just a simple hello would be nice. I don’t look plus size but I only fit into larger bras. No one helps me find sizes, helps me to a change room or offers any recommendations. If I didn’t need to buy plus size bras I would never step into this store again :(

Always a pleasure to browse around this store. The Ladies who served me were kind and friendly. They helped me purchase a complete outfit. The in store sales are always great. Lots of plus sizes of beautiful clothes and shoes. If you are above size 18 I recommend Penningtons to you. You will not be disappointed. Give Penningtons a good look.

I visit this location a lot and have always had great service. Went in last Sunday and two staff at the counter. No greeting when I went in, I walked the entire store and gathered clothing. Tried on clothes and left the store. Neither sales person ever talked to me or asked if they could help. I was in the store for over 40 minutes.

My daughter orders some things from them online. Periodically items need returned. They can be shipped back, or returned/exchanged at a store. I have at times returned an item here for her. The staff are amazing. Really friendly. That's about the limit to what I can say, but from my interactions with the business, I recommend.

Excellent service from Chloe! Not only did she measure me first to ensure I selected garments of the right size and fit, but also assisted me in choosing pieces that are flattering in both colour and style. Chloe understands the value of service and went above and beyond. She is a tremendous asset to this store....

I wish Penningtons would prioritize hiring sales associates and managers who are visibly plus size or at minimum within their own size range. Doing so would absolutely enhance the customer service experience. 2 star rating as the bathroom at this location was horrendous despite it being very slow when I was in.

Shopping for bras is always a challenge! The quest was made easier by the great selection but most importantly by the helpful staff. Courtney (spelling?) Was unbelievably patient in retrieving the various styles and sizes and I can't thank her enough for the extra effort and her pleasant good nature.

great staff, on hand for any questions. I was met at the door with smiling eyes ( mask hid her face) asked me politely to sterilize my hands and told me of all the sales in the store. they always give me space to shop but close enough if I need help. thank you for all that you ladies do..

Got what I was looking for with no customer service whatsoever. The only employees I spoke with were two women chatting in the changing area. When I would go in and out I had to walk between them while they were chatting. No one ever offered any help at any time while I was there.

Been shoping here many times and never a bad visit. happy to see that they are getting less aditionelle and more penningtons clothes back. everyone is very helpful and if i needed anything i just simply needed to ask and they were there to help no hesitation

Wonderful experience! Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, helped my mom get fitted as it had been a few years. Made a great connection and helped her find what she needed online when they didn't have some things in-store. Would 100% recommend

The employees always make online returns uncomfortable, even when it's only a $45 return that really shouldn't hurt their bottom line. You don't have to ask customers multiple times if they are sure they want to do return and not an exchange.
