As a First Nations young woman of Canada and newly finding Jesus Christ and fully deciding to surrender and give my heart to Jesus Christ I set out to find a church, praying and asking God beforehand to guide my children (3 year old twins) and I to a church that would be good for us. Whilst led us to Peoples Church - with no recommendations or invitations. I’ve been to 3 services and I felt welcomed. I liked the messages and service they provide to the people of their church. On this particular day, I came and the pastor was preaching about unity in the Church and all areas in our lives. After the service was done I went to pick up my children in the children's area and a man I’ve never seen before approached me and told me he needed to speak to me. The man (never told me his name) let me know that I was not allowed to come to this church because of a third-party matter with which I have nothing to do with. And saying since the third party has been coming to this church way longer than I have he can’t have my children and I come no longer. I thought I’d share my story because the church preaches about being in unity and peace in Jesus Christ and to be turned away from a Church as a person who truly wants to devote their life to Jesus Christ and to be in a community and fellowship of people of the same beliefs - I find extremely absurd. Bless this church and the people in it.

I attended this church off and on for the last couple of years up to about April of this year (2019). They have great Pentecostal services and sermons (pastors, choir and band). This church also has lots of activities and events for all ages throughout the week. Most of the people (pastors, staff, volunteers and some of the congregation) were friendly when you enter the church and whenever you were in the church. But whenever you saw some of pastors and / or staff outside of the church, they didn’t know you. They had a newcomers luncheon, where they told you a little about the church. They had your name and contact information, but the never follow up with you afterwards. Around the first of April of this year (2019), l attended a membership meeting but refrain from filling out the application because of some of the Pentecostal doctrines. I emailed Pastor Esther (l believe that’s her name) telling her l will not becoming a member at this time. Pastor Esther never had the courtesy of answering me back. Maybe some of this my fault. I BELIEVE IN KING JAMES BIBLE DISPENSATIONALIS (Not Hyper). Deuteronomy 4:2 Authorized (King James) Version “Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.” God bless this church and everyone in it. AMEN

Worship music and services are Awesome! I love the pastors messages. However I don’t find it as welcoming for new comers. They have a card and a lunch you can go to but theres the assumption that you already are a Christian and on that walk. I think they could try harder to try follow up with visitors and make them feel included and possibly make it their home church . I pretty much come in for the service and leave because the people I met At the welcome lunch didn’t remember me the few times after that I approached them and most members seem to already have friendship circles. Just find it hard to feel inclusive or get connected . Otherwise always a good service.

Definitely the best I have ever been to and I have been to a lot of amazing churches. If you love undiluted Word of God and worship, this is the church to be. I have met many great people here and so happy to have found a homely place. Spiritual growth and prosperity of souls is the core of the service. Peoples' Church is simply a bunch of ordinary people doing extraordinary things for God and the community. I have never seen a church so sold out to Jesus and people!

Now THIS is how Church should be. No phoney people. Just come as you are. Lead Pastor is an amazing, REAL person. He's not afraid to get his hands dirty to help out. He also plays in the Worship Band. Such a humble man. Great Sermons there every Sunday. I especially love how they are always involved in the community, having sports, fairs, etc. And its all free. They're not after your $. They just want to help you know Jesus. So proud to call this Church home.

This is a church not a cult i.e they preach the Bible and nothing else It is affiliated with the Pentecostal Church so don't be afraid if people have their hands up and are a bit more exuberant in demonstrating their faith etc It is a joyful happy place No dress code I prefer a little more sedate and a little more formal so 4 instead of 5 stars for me Especially great church for people with kids of any age

I was praying for God to show me a place to worship Him, I was buying a coffee in a plaza, when a woman approached us talking about a dream she had had about the Holy Spirit, at that moment my husband was amazed by this revelation . . The lady with a smile invited us to this church and from the moment we arrived we felt at home, we felt the presence of God and the people were very friendly. God is good.

Unfortunately I have not attended any of their services. However, my son played on a basketball team 8 years ago at the church and their gym and equipment are amazing. The people that volunteered were great. My son now attends a school program that runs out of the church class rooms.

I love the FREEDOM of worship awesome band and sometimes a choir..great down to earth Pastors . We have another Church Campus downtown..called People's Church Cumberland on Cumberland Street(Ave/Rd) Hamilton..

Peoples Church is a great place to worship. They truly care about people as they share the love of Jesus. If you are looking for a church to be part of, I would definitely recommend this church.

They are a growing Church that have programs for the entire family. Very caring and friendly Pastors and congregation. Lots of free parking. There is also a fulltime daycare operated from there.

Peoples is my home church and has been for years. They have an amazing staff, community, and are dedicated to serving others. Pastor Tony is an amazing lead Pastor who leads by example.

I just started going here a few weeks ago. I find it a wonderful, peaceful, and friendly place to go. Went to their Women's Conference today, absolutely wonderful. Had a great time.

This Church is a very good community center. There are many children's activities with good Christian content. It is worth a look at. You might find what you have been looking for.

I dont know anyone at this church but I have been attending for a a few months now and feel at home. The kid services are amazing and everyone is kind and welcoming.
