last time i brought my dog to get groomed. Cassadi did a terrible job . he came out smelling like wet dog and stated “she did the best she can” but i decided to give them a second chance . I scheduled his next appt for 4:30 with DELILAH . she called me early morning asking if i can bring in my dog around 230, me being understanding, i said that was okay. When i arrive, she asked me if I had brought his proof of rabies with me. she did not tell me anything over the phone beforehand or even a week before the appt to bring it in. she stated she couldn’t groom my puppy unless i had proof. I tried calling his vet in front of her but they’re closed on weekends so I was unable to reach them. I offered if i can head home since i only live 5 mins away to get the copy and she said unfortunately no since my puppy was her last grooming of the day and she even said “my apologies i should’ve told you beforehand” . SMH!!! she then rescheduled my appt . I was beyond upset she’s the one who made me push my appt up to 230 when it was originally 430!!! I honestly felt like she just wanted to get over with her day. Unprofessional . again her name was DELILAH. never again taking my puppy to PetSmart . terrible service . I will be taking my puppy to a place where they actually CARE for pets.

Employees have no clue what they’re doing. I came in to buy feeder ghost shrimp and when I asked for help I was initially told there was no shrimp in stock. I wait to be assisted to show the employee where the shrimp are that I’ve seen and I inform her those shrimp are in the wrong tank because those shrimp are ghost shrimp. She says they’re chocolate shrimp?? $5.99. I inform her again that maybe there was a mix up because those aren’t chocolate shrimp and she calls someone else over who looks at the shrimp already in the ready to go bag and he goes “Yeah that’s a ghost shrimp!” Then he comes closer to the same tank, looks around the shrimp tags and then goes it’s another type of shrimp. These people don’t even know what shrimp they have in stock and honestly whoever sorted out the shrimp couldn’t tell the difference between the colors black and transparent. $5.99 for a feeder shrimp that is marketed at 50 cents is unbelievable. Don’t even get me started on how disgusting the conditions these poor creatures are living in are. Pointed out a dead shrimp right in front of me as they were trying to figure out what kind it was. This is the worst experience I’ve had at this Petsmart and honestly it’s a shame.

Went to the store to get some final products for my bearded dragon enclosure and purchase my bearded dragon. Gathered my supplies and waited 20+ minutes for some one to assist me with the bearded dragon. They came over at 7:58 and told me that I couldn’t purchase one because they have a end time for live animal purchases of 8pm. I understand the time frame, which isn’t even posted on the reptile cages but when you come over before the posted time and tell me I can’t purchase them when I’ve been waiting for assistance since 7:40 that’s not acceptable. I understand you might be short staffed but I was there and waiting beforehand. Manager came over and told me come back tomorrow. When stores need business and have sales quotas find it hard to believe you pass up a purchase over 200. I put my supplies back and will not be doing business at this PetSmart again.

I have nearly always had a decent experience at PetSmart in the past. This time, though, I had purchased an aquarium heater with a lifetime warranty. I chose this heater even though it cost quite a bit more because of the warranty. when it stopped working, i took the heater and the receipt and box and packaging back for an exchange. the warranty said nothing about a time limit...it was a lifetime warranty. the manager refused to allow me an exchange and said a lifetime warranty is tricky. I recommend not relying on this PetSmart at Grand and Naragansette for fair treatment.

Took my dog in for a Nail trim, bath & grooming and a terrible job was done at this place. For one I was told they had gave my dog a bath & he smelled like wet dog! Secondly they communicated 2hrs after we had dropped him off saying that they could not trim his nails or groom him! To put the cherry on top two of his paws were cut and he was still bleeding when he was picked up! Please stop advertising you can work with BIG DOGS if this is not the case.

Went to buy dog food and when I asked to have them price match a competitor that I've used at multiple PetSmart's before I was told they can't price match. When I asked them why they can't price match and that I've done this at other PetSmart's without an issue I was told that this specific store doesn't price match because they have been losing a lot of money doing it. What's the point of a price match guarantee if the store isn't going to honor it.

Love coming to my neighborhood Petsmart. The staff are all friendly all the time I stop by, the shop is always usually fully stocked. I never have a hard time finding what I need and if any assistance is needed the team is quick to help. Plus, my dog loves coming along and making new friends. Thanks for a quick and smooth experience every time team!

Cashier #665729 02/26/2023 @5:28pm was very rude and not helpful. I did an online order and ordered cat food instead of dog food… I asked her if this location carried the dog food i’m requesting. She said “Your gonna have to check the shelves” . And which I did, I walked all around the store with no help for 15-20 minutes and couldn’t find it.

I had a bad experience at the grooming salon. I explained my frustrations to Jessie, the store manager. He listened and was sympathetic. He provided me great customer service and I did feel better after speaking with him. Unfortunately, I would never go back to the grooming salon, but I would purchase products at the store.

I bought my sons 1st fish from here, everything was cheap. I needed some help to know what I actually need and the workers were so helpful, they greeted us when we walked in and were so nice even when checking out, with a smile. They also have so much other stuff for many different animals for a good price, would recommend!

I had my 10 year old Springer spaniel groomed here and I was most impressed. Elena was the groomer and she was awesome not only did she go above and beyond but her patience and attitude was right on. Been going to this specific Petsmart for years. Always stocked, and easy to find the items I’m looking for. Beds, toys, treats, etc. If I ever need some help or have questions, the staff is pretty friendly and always helpful. If you’re in the area and have a pet, this is definitely a place I’d recommend :)

Had a bad experience with the groomers. Took my dog here for a cut for the first time on a busy day. My dog got an ear infection and they basically just shaved her down to the skin. I noticed that other small dogs were coming out the same. So I guess it's quantity over quality here. Will not go back.

I love going to this store, but today I used the app and a new feature for the curbside pickup is to just press the the button and they will bring out your items. I waited outside 15 minutes and had to call inside for someone to bring out my items. They need to fix their pick up feature.

The girl that helped me out was very helpful and very sweet. I believe her name was Destiny or something similar to that. But she helped me find the proper harness for my dog. As for the cashier, not friendly at all. Didn't get her name but she was Hispanic, very thin, and young.

This pet smart is terrible I couldn't find a single person to help me they were all up front conversing it's a 1/2 block from front to back I'm a senior and spent 20 minutes before I walked upfront. If I wanted to do my daily walk I wouldn't go there. I will never go there again

They have a great variety of products, especially for reptiles and aquatic animals. However, they are lacking in hamster product variety. They have plenty of cages to choose from, but I'd like to see more accessory variety.
