Today I experienced the most honest service I have ever had. When browsing through the fish section I noticed one tank in perticular with several decaying fish as well as many with noticeable diseases such as itch if that's how it is spelled. When mentioning it to the employee he stated that the bigger issues was the fact that all the tanks were connected through the same pump and filter. Then the light bulb came on with such neglect to one tank or others it had now spread through out the store. The employee didn't actually state not to buy the fish but he stated if I was a fish I guy I knew what he meant. I was honest and thanked him for saving me money on fish that were sure to die and infect whatever tank you enter them in. I can't help but feel this poor employee was put in a real bad spot because he knew the fish were bad and nothing he could do but sell them anyways. He couldn't even look me in the eye as he knew I was a fish collector of sorts and knew enough to know the fish were as good as dead before leaving the store. Once again I thanked him for his honesty and said I was sorry he had to his job with such inferior product. Furthermore to this I discovered that I had bought fish here before annnnnd. Here goes thes the story. I had previously purchased several fish from this location to enter into my home aquarium. All have since died also taking all but one of my other fish who I managed to save. I had a number of fairly expensive cichlids I had purchased at Als in Hamilton which I highly recommend but wanted to try something local as I didn't want to drive. Anyways long story short it cost me about $200 worth of fish and supplies to try and save my fish and seems to be this knowledge was present before the fish I purchased even left the store and can't help but feel ripped off for every fish I've bought there. I expect some reply from someone at pet smart on this as this is unexceptable and who ever is reading this your are be lied to and taken when buying fish at this location. I say again no fault on the honest employee but as a corporation how can you put people in this situation where they are stealing people's money knowingly you should be ashamed and glad there are some decent humans who believe in right and wrong and this is just wrong.

Just wanted to make sure this was the PetSmart on Appleby line before I left this review because I have a very different one for Milton LOL Onto the review! I wanted an easy transition and I had heard of a type of product called feliway and it was supposed to be really helpful in calming down cats and making the transition a little easier when I had asked the Milton PetSmart they had no idea what I was talking about and basically said there no such thing asl my vet... when I called THIS petsmart brett answered the phone in such a lively way (he boosted my spirits for the day I swear lol) he knew exactly what I was talking about he actually provided me more information about the product and told me which one would be best for my cat we ended up picking a diffuser which worked out great it's now been a month since I've purchased the product but he told me I could have come back at any time and returned it if I didnt work. I find that it's working great so if you have any questions or confusion about products I would definitely recommend going to this pet smart and no other I rather drive 30 mins to get what I need rather than drive up the road 2 mins to be told I'm an idoit and theres no such product Thanks brett and the rest of your team!

I recently bought 2 beta fish one for each of my sons. Unfortunately the next day 1 of them passed (they were in their own tank, for those who will comment betas live alone). I went back to speak with the manager and let him know, one fish passed and I’m hoping to switch for another. I let him know I took a picture of the fish to prove it of course is not alive. He then let me know that in order for him to help me I would need to bring the fish carcass back otherwise he can’t prove that I’m not trying to scam him. For a $10 fish that was likely not well when purchased, has now wasted more of my time that needs a 3rd trip back to the store. Customer service fail, my information is all on our pet smart account along with purchase history so the assumption that we will be scamming the company for a free $10 fish is unwarranted. I’ve worked in customer service for many years the manager could have helped and choose to go a more difficult route out of pure laziness. We obviously disrupted his smoke break when he had to come out and help us, therefore he was unwilling to give us any options. In fact he let me know that the products sold in store for the fish was likely the reason for it dying so quick. Every situation is different and require understanding and patience to keep customers happy and continuously shopping with the company. Service that is only willing to help when they are taking your money and not willing to Help when there are issues is not good service .

This is the first time in my lifetime, I've been compelled to write a negative review given the extremely poor experience our dog has faced at this location. I would like to advise anyone considering taking their dog to PetSmart Appleby location for grooming services to highly consider visiting another location . Our dog was assigned one of the junior stylists who despite was told not to cut the hair too short, decided to make our dog bald from head to toe. Not only did she disregard the instructions, there are areas of our dogs body where her skin is fully exposed. In addition to this, the following day we noticed a significant infection forming and took our dog to the vet who explained to us the infection was caused due to clipper burn. Our dog has been extremely traumatized from this location and has lost her spirit and appetite. We've taken our complaints directly to PetSmart and spoke with Scott from management who acknowledged the groomists wrongdoing and has agreed to provide a refund for the services and cover the vet costs. While I appreciate managements intent to cover the damages, no amount of costs can cover the emotional trauma suffered by our dog. I would hate to see anyone elses dog go through this experience, and while I understand there may be other qualified groomists at this location, I would avoid this location entirely.

Cancelled all appointments here (going to a better PetSmart location). They unilaterally cancelled our grooming appointment I booked months in advance with zero notice (we showed up to the store). Now our dog is uncomfortable because his hair is too long so we asked for a makeup appointment (they offered about 2 months later) or to switch another appointment we had for our other dog with the one that was cancelled (they are very similar in size and hair length, and in fact the one we wanted groomed is easier to groom than the one whose appointment we were willing to cancel) and I was provided with illogical responses about how that couldn't be done because of other dogs' appointments that day. I tried to explain it had nothing to do with other dogs since this was the appointment I booked for my dog and the dog I wanted groomed would actually be a quicker groom, and the store manager was unwilling to engage in any kind of productive conversation. I asked how they couldn't come up with a solution given that they no-notice cancelled our appointment the week before and she said we received a coupon for that (I am obviously more concerned with my dogs' comfort than money). I don't think they care about dogs' comfort levels here.

Honestly, if I could give it zero stars...I would. Her name was Debbie I think... I booked my 4 month puppy for a puppy trim and bath. I get there, and the lady says he’s too matted, he has to be shaved (not what I wanted,...but ok I get it). I leave him, and am literally gone for FIVE MINUTES...before they call me back saying “you have to come pick up your dog, he’s way too matted to cut”. Okay...fine. I go back, thinking I’m going to pick up my dog, who still looks like he did when I dropped him off. NO! They shaved HIS WHOLE BODY, and left his feet, and his head to look like a lion...his neck is HALF cut, with dangly pieces of hair falling out. He literally looked like a rats body with a lions head. They said nothing to me other than, “you’ll have to rebook him when you get the mats out”. HOW DARE THEY HAND BACK MY PUPPY LIKE THAT! I get it, fur grows back, and I’m not mad they shaved him, I am furious at how they left HALF HIS NECK AND BODY! Like seriously, don’t cut his hair at all then if you noticed he was too matted. I will NEVER be returning to this location, or any petsmarts ever again. The audacity they had to give my puppy back like that...never again.

2 stars are for most staff and store in general. Would have been 5 if it wasn't for their waste "manager". I bought a $4 plant on a Tuesday for my aquarium, only to go home and find it in pieces (couldn't replant in my tank). Went in to exchange it Friday night (my only free night that week), and was literally laughed at by the manager cause "there's no way I got it like that". I wasn't even trying to get a refund, just a straight exchange. Great example of customer service when you have to argue for 15min in front of other customers for a $4 plant. Disappointed to say the least, considering I go there weekly since it has opened and this was my first return to ANY petsmart. He also said they would then make an "exception" for me and it will never happen again. Then after this brutal exchange, I went to go select a new one and this "manager" who was also on fish duty, walked right in fish and wouldn't look at me or help me get a new plant. Didn't know I should be taking a photo montage with time stamps to ensure I wasn't lying about exchanging $4. Complete joke of a manager.

First, she called us to move our appointment up by 1 hour. Still not sure why that was done as it was booked and confirmed online. So I left work early and got there 1 hour earlier as requested. Went for a haircut for our puppy. We gave very specific instructions twice that we wanted a short trim only. She ended up giving him a full shave right down to the skin. Her reasoning was that he had knots in his hair and so therefore she had to go right down to the skin. However, when we were dropping him off she inspected him and said she only noticed 2 knots and it wouldn't be a big deal. Even if during the haircut she had noticed the knots the right thing to do would've been to call us and let us know and ask if we'd be ok with a full buzz cut. That was not done. We feel she just wanted to get out of there and the buzz cut was the faster cut rather than take time to trim properly. Not sure of her name but hopefully management will look into it (appointment was on June 30th and 3:30pm). Very very disappointed.

We've been here so often with our bloodhound George that the staff greet him by name. We have had lovely experiences with the staff at checkout and in the store. This is why our experience today was so disapointing. I would caution people in using the grooming area of the store as they have inconsistent service. I don't mind waiting for drop in nail care for my dog, but waiting 40 minutes and having other customers taken before me with no explanation isn't ok. There was not even an attempt to page us before taking other dogs as we had been told they would. When it was brought to her attention there was barely an acknowledgment and no apology. The solution offered was to take the dog in now (picture a 10 month old puppy and his level of patience now). The next solution offeres was to bring him back another time. Again, no apology or other solution for time wasted and poor service. The poor service was disapointing and the follow up was as well. We'll be taking George and our money elsewhere after this.

Staff is great on the whole and do their best. Management however, has been unhelpful, arrogant and plain incorrect with A LOT of their advice. Also, I went in there three days in a row (kept forgetting one item or another) and looked at the guppies. I was finishing cycling a tank and wanted to add some guppies. I looked at the cobra guppies and there two half eaten dead ones...three days in a row. Dead bettas that I notified them of several times remained in the cups. I actually brought one to the cash and said "this one is dead" and the girl with glazed over eyes rang it up. I was trying not to let everyone around know but the girl wasnt catching on. The manager comes over and says "yeah we clear them every night" I mentioned the dead ones that had been there 3 days and he said "yeah it doesnt hurt the other fish". Wait...what? I have a lot of animals so they get quite a bit of my business. At least they did. Try Brant street location. Much better

My wife and I bought a CHEW-RESISTANT dog bed made by Kong for my dog and it was torn down within just half a day. When we bring the bed to the store and ask for any possible solution, the first sentence came out from a sales associate Jeanelle is "all the chew-resistant are lying" (with a smiley face). I can't believe how she can make the response like this!!! I was totally shocked and not even think ask for a refund or exchange. Her words make me very angry. I feel I was fooled by PetSmart BECAUSE THE SALES IN THIS STORE KNOW THE PRODUCTS THEY SELL ARE LYING TO CUSTOMERS. This is my first visit and also the last visit to PetSmart. I wouldn't shop there if one of their competitors could open later yesterday. I am very disappointed with the employee, the store and the brand. Be aware of any kind of ads they made to their products! They won't let you know you are fooled until you hand your money to them and have unlucky product issue like us.

I was there tonight as I always go every 3 wks Usually I have a great experience but tonight it was a different one. I don’t like to do reviews as I do customer service myself but the cashier was not the most pleasant person doing her job As soon as I walked in I knew she was going to be unpleasant. I was having a issue with my phone and when I arrived at the checkout my phone won’t let me open the coupon for the 10$ off as I have spend close to 200 tonight for my 4 pets and 10$ was better than nothing. As I said to her my phone doesn’t open up the coupon and I need to call my husband to send me a screenshot and you can just go with next person and best ally rolled her eyes and through my stuff on counter back in my cart. I was going to say something but i was more concerned about the 10$ lol I always had great experience in this store. But today wasn’t it. I do hope she was just having an off day. If so sorry

My dogs usually love coming here. A very rude groomer has really annoyed me and I will never return to this location or any other location. My dogs were great last time they had their nails cut there which is why I returned. I did tell them that one of my dogs hated getting his nails cut but had been great the last time he was there. When I went back in to get my dogs I asked how they were only to be told quite rudely that they were both awful and I shouldn’t come when they are so busy. It was busier last time I was there. Anyway they don’t have to worry as I will not be returning. Whoever this groomer is really has no people skills. If I had spoken to someone like that I would have been fired. I will be taking this up with head office. Shame on you petsmsart. Strictly Rens for me from now on. The young lady at the checkout was lovey I must add.

I've had nothing but good experiences here. I love the convenience of booking grooming appointments on-line. My puppy always leaves happy and looking handsome. They once had to cancel my appointment due to staff illness and they notified me immediately and offered a discount for my next appointment. I like the selection of products (would be happy to see more Canadian-made products), I do my own research before I buy food/treats so I don't rely on the staff for that information. It would be nice if the staff had more expertise when customers have questions; they're nice enough to chat with, but not always knowledgeable. I also like shopping on-line and picking up in the store. So much easier when you have kids in tow ;) Have to say, I love their adoption program and support of local animal charities.

I just had the worst experience At this pet smart! The guy who tends to the fish was the most rude, aggressive guy I have ever met. My husband, son and I went in tonight to get our son a fish for his birthday. We had bought the tank and set up the water few days earlier to make sure the fish were ready to come home tonight ( my sons 7th birthday is today). The sales guy told us we didn’t know how to tend to fish and that he wouldn’t sell them to us. My husband used to work at a fish store years and years ago and proceeded to tell him that we know how to tend to the fish and have the tank ready. The sales guy said I don’t think you do and refused to sell us the fish. I will never return to that pet smart! We ended up at the one at Brant street and got our 3 fish! The lady who helped us was wonderful!

Just saw a review about the betas dying so soon after arriving home. I think I have discovered the reason...they are clearly selling very sickly bettas. I asked about one, as I felt pretty guilty and thought with enough TLC I could save him, but not paying 15 dollars for a dead fish to try. I'll have to attach a picture, if it wasn't for it being a suffering living creature it would almost be comical. I pointed him out and said he's not looking too good eh. And she said "No that's what they all look like and are supposed to look like...not sick at all, no discount".......yikes yikes yikes. Then she started smacking all the other cups to show how they still move around when jumbled .. no wonder half them are diseased This is abuse of a living creature. Shame on them.

I can’t review the whole store as I only went to the fish department. I wanted to pickup a few cheap goldfish for my little pond. The selection was less than minimal and the condition of the fish was horrible. In the tank with the fish I would have chosen there were more dead and dying fish than live ones. What kind of pet store does that? The other more expensive goldfish were not in good condition either. The employee was ok but of course was talking to me as if I knew nothing about fish. That’s ok except I’ve kept fish for almost 60 years, which I’m pretty sure is longer than he’s been alive. A little hint for young folks in the work force, there are people out there who might be your customer who know more than you. Show some respect.

Great service! I just went there with a return because the vet put my dog on a special diet. I hadn't opened the bag of food yet, but as I arrived the bag ripped open spilling into the parking lot.... I honestly did not expect them to take the return and I asked for a supervisor immediately knowing it wasn't going to be a simple request. Well I wish I got this gentleman's name, he was the supervisor on shift tonight. He was completely accommodating and understanding---it was a non-issue. In even great stores you would get a hassle with this even if it ended up with a positive it wouldn't be a customer service highlight... Well this honestly was a highlight and they have solidified my patronage. Thank you!

I really want to like this place. It's a 10 minute walk from my house, the selections are pretty huge, and I gave it 3 or 4 go's just to give it multiple chances. Every time, I have been disappointed with the customer service, specifically one woman working there (won't be mentioning her name). She wouldn't remember me but I remember every encounter we've had and I felt like I was an annoyance, my dog was an annoyance. Rude, dismissive, I felt like I was bothering her personally. There are so many quality pet stores out there, especially in Burlington/Oakville, and even though this Petsmart so close, my dog and I won't be stepping back into this location. Go vote with your dollar.

Wonderful service had just what I needed! Decided to us my points after I had purchased my items because I’ve been told a few times people have lost them after a year. I checked my points history and it seemed I only had 2 days to use this before I potentially lost them. I went back inside to see if they could refund and put my points towards my purchase. Brenda I believe was my cashiers name and she was fantastic with the rush and making sure I could use my points and had a great attitude! I wanted to fill out the survey they staples to my receipt but I could find a link. If PetSmart does see this if they could comment the link I’d love to give this store a 10/10

PetSmart carries a huge variety of supplies at great prices for all of your pet needs and if you have trouble finding something the staff is always there to assist. Whether you have a dog, cat, fish, rodents, etc. you will find products for them. They also have a great online shopping experience if you are unable to get to a store. I value PetSmart not only for the variety of supplies they carry but also for partnering with local pet adoption agencies to help find homes for rescued animals. The PetSmart Charities organization is another way they help further the efforts of local adoption agencies in finding forever homes for these animals.

We've done 2 classes (puppy & intermediate) with Maria at this store. I cannot say enough about Maria. She is kind, helpful, compassionate, and so dedicated to helping each and every pet in her class. Maria has helped us tremendously with our puppy. We've learned core commands that we use every single day. We have always felt that Maria cared so much about our puppy and was always willing to help us! I am so thankful we chose to do training here! In addition to the amazing trainer, the staff is kind, friendly, and always willing to help! The store is clean and we are always able to find what we need!

OMG...may be a good pet store offering a wide selection of pet care items, however there is a pet trainer, however liked, who thinks they own the store. Very rude to customers while in a pet training class, asking them to either remove themselves from the store or to only be in a certain part of the store during a session. Get over yourself!!! You’re JUST an employee in a pet store! Grow up and act like an adult, not your IQ...remember, you’re JUST an employee, not the store owner. Don’t act as if you control the pets and their owners and the store. You just work there...come down a notch or two.

Had a very unpleasant encounter with a staff member who yelled at my autistic son that only one person was allowed in the fish area. Maybe block it off properly or learn some manners and decency. There was a tiny sign off to the side, otherwise the whole place was completely open. And it's a large area so who would think only one person allowed at a time due to Covid. Also, not everyone can read!!! Also this location has a fraction of what the others do. I will never return just due to how awful this staff member was. Some training could be beneficial.

Do not buy fish from this location, waited 30 minutes just to look at fish because the area was swamped with people during a pandemic. most if not all of the fish have ick. When brought to the employees attention they just tell you they sell ick guard and you can treat them. Alot of their fish look ill and or on the verge of dying there were also some dead ones in there. Most of them were swimming sideways and were not very active especially with their cichlids, koi and goldfish. I would not recommend getting your fish from this petsmart.

Went to this store with a friend excited to get some new fish for my tank. I was also buying a new tank for my betta fish at work, so I had a 5 gallon in my hands. As soon as I mentioned that I wanted to get 2 mollies, the lady with red short hair laughed and told me not for that tank. I mentioned I have a 10 gallon tank that has 2 fish in it already, and she REFUSED to sell me anything, and I had to walk out empty-handed. With that being said and how ignorant that specific lady is, I refuse to shop at this location anymore.

Completely and utterly unreliable and unhelpful. The grooming services here are the worst I have seen. I have booked three appointments and been canceled on twice. There was no help other than well you can phone around or wait another month and a half. I waited a month and a half for this appointment. Why would I want to wait for another one to be canceled in another month while the dog suffers. I appreciate things happen but there needs to be backups in place like waitlist, priority booking whatever. They just don't care.

Went in with my daughter as she wanted to look at some of the pets. Cannot say enough good things about employee Megan who was working in the pet area. She immediately asked if she could be of help to us. She redirected me away from the mice (totally phobic), yet she picked up my daughter so that she could see them. It was the kindest, sweetest thing ever. We spoke about fish and the store no longer carrying bunnies. She is a fantastic employee and should be commended for being so personable and going above and beyond.

Helpful staff, excellent sales, a fantastic membership club for squeezing that last little bit of extra. Nothing but good things to say and the staff are genuine animal lovers. While walking the aisles looking for my needs I observed no less than two groups of people who had brought in their pets for fitting and determining the right products and in both cases overheard knowledgeable and helpful staff making sure they got what they needed. Definitely a good place to go for the right stuff for your pets.

Have to give Kudos to Blake, great service yesterday. We bought a lizard and 40 gallon tank kit at the other Burlington store on the weekend and had trouble with a bulb. He was able to assist with a replacement without any hassle in no time. Really appreciated the quick turnaround, and helpfulness. The person who was in the reptile section was also who was super helpful, keep up the great work guys. It’s not everyday that things go this smooth in retail.

The bird department is always out of stock of food, perches, and toys. The thing is, they were in stock but they were still up on the top rack where the overstock stuff are. So why aren't things being opened and displayed when they are actually available? Don't you want to sell things Never mind when I tried to find someone to help me, there weren't any at the stock room nor the fish /bird dept and it was at 4pm when it was getting busy on a Friday.

Went to pay cash for a product August 31, 2021 and they absolutely refused my cash offer of payment! I understand that a year ago it was a different uncertainty, but seriously we've evolved to accepting cash! Business owners need to wake up or you're going to loose clients! Very bad business practice! Shame!!! Staff was very apologetic, but at the same time wouldn't accept the cash! Paid debit, but what if I didn't have it? Get with it!

AMAZING puppy training at this location by Maria Pellegrino...she was fantastic with all dogs and really went above and beyond at every step of the way. I HIGHLY recommend her and this store....it is more about building a bonding relationship with your puppy than it is about the lessons of the classes and this is what Maria focuses one. So just take the 6 weeks and have some fun with your pup and you will be 100% happy with her classes!

I like petsmart they have a huge selection from dog toys, food etc., cat, bird, Guinea pigs stuff etc. There are fish tanks with fish in them. Very clean and organized store. People seem very helpful and nice. Know answers to any questions you may have. Lots of parking spaces. Prices seem good. They also have grooming for your pets there. So if you haven't gone you should. I only went to get dog treats and gift cards for friends.

I got an online appointment for 10 am but the receptionist said it wasn’t possible because they don’t have the groomer for 10!!! When I showed the screenshot she said they didn’t have it in their system! She tried to take my dog but it got angry and the receptionist not the groomer said they cannot accept my dog although it had groomed with another Petsmart before! Not recommended specially for online appointments!

The staff is akwats pleasant, hence I keep on going back. Nowadays though, they have no plants available for my aquarium, which I find strange since Big Al's has them. So, I have bought them from that store. I guess that they have different suppliers . So, that's not a point in their favour for people who own aquariums. Pet Smart may be closer, but if they don't have what I need, I will take my business elsewhere.

Clean and organized. Friendly staff. A little expensive for their products. Cons: my snake dosent like the frozen mice brand they sell. He will not eat them and turns his nose up at them. I have to drive to Big Al's in Hamilton to get the mice he likes. I get the impression that maybe these mice have been in the freezer and stored too long. Perhaps they should change up their supplier or rotate their stock.

Some of the staff is friendly, but Ive had a few problems when shopping. One of the pet people in the back was telling a woman to cycle her tank with a shrimp from fortinos and then told another custoner she could place several goldfish in a bowl. I always knew this store was better but that worker is below par and that info should go right to the garbage. Sad this store used to be better.

Staff is generally very friendly and helpful - pet people tend to like pet people! There are, of course, a few exceptions to this, but I've learned which staff members are rude (or seem like they're working somewhere they don't like) and I just avoid them. Good selection of products and pricing is reasonable... sometimes a good deal can be had. I'll be back for sure.

The staff are super friendly and always willing to help. They are usually well informed about their products and can offer some sound advice. I find the pricing quite standard except for maybe collars and harnesses which I think are a bit overpriced, but they usually have many discounts going on. You can save a few extra bucks with the coupons and rewards card.

This place people are not nice and they don’t have any idea how to make a good cut style for the dogs. Mine was terrible, they only pass the razor without taking care the aesthetic style for the dogs, they don’t even clean the ears and get rid the little hairs inside them. The service is very expensive but the results are awful. Was my first and last time.

Really inconsistent on grooming. Have been here a total of 4 times. Two times it was decent however the last two they completely butchered my dog. They ask you what you want and do the exact opposite? They shaved him right down, despite asking for the highest setting. It's also blotchy. He cried the whole way home. I think he knows how bad he looks

Grooming cancelled for the third time in the last year, always last minute. I have to book these appointments 3 months out and then get told 2 days before they can't take my dog. No effort to try to fit her in with another groomer or offer remediation for the situation, just told sorry there's nothing we can do. Save your time and go somewhere else.

My go to store for most or all of my pets needs. Great aquatic selection and knowledgeable and helpful staff. Pet rewards benefits are great as well! Get discounts and other promotional stuff when signing up. I usually come here for all my fish tank needs. They have their own in house branded merchandise called TOP FIN which is quality stuff.

They usually have everything I need in stock but I always check their online inventory before I make a trip. I've ordered online for pick up at this particular location and its gone smoothly. If it gets too busy it could take a while before they can cash you out on an online pick up because they can only use the tablet for online orders.

Purchased 3 platies from this store in September, when brought fish home we realized it has white spots. After some research I learned it's a parasite called Ick. Most of my fish in my aquarium got sick and died during the week. Ick treatment I used saved only 2 of my fish. Why to sell sick fish with visual signs of ick to people?

I think Her name was Debbi grooming department was very rude and unpleasant! She cut the nail of my dog ... I ask if she can file them she told me I need to pay an extra 16$ When I did paid 13$ I would paid the difference but she was actually so aggressive and told me NO ! You need paid a extra 16$ Wow ! Avoid making online orders with Petsmart for canned pet food. Twice in a row I received severely dented cans or cans with the bottoms smashed in. The second time I asked for a refund they only wanted to give me a refund for 6 of the 19 dented cans. Completely incompetent staff who do not know how to safely pack an order.

I have gone here ever since I got my puppy. They are all very nice and very helpful. Yesterday I went to get a harness and the person told me which one to get and why. Not only that she was nice enough to put it on my dog by sizing it right and also gave me some tips on dog walking. Great store with great employees!

Huge selection that the other stores can't compete with. Employees are always cheerful. Today my dog was groomed at the Appleby line location and it was a great experience! Nice staff and many variety of products, however most of them are pricey and the store has a strong mixed smell between chemicals and animals that provoked nauseas in me and dizziness. Besides there is no A/C and the poor employees were sweating not still smiling ! Probably the animals as well.

The fish were in a disgusting state when there. Bags were floating in numerous tanks, tied shut, most with dead or dying fish. Looks like they were there for over a week. Terrible way to be treating the fish. I will not be purchasing any items for our new aquarium at Pet Smart.
