I usually get all my floral arrangements and fresh cuts from here (birthdays, grads, funerals, for office coworkers, Mother’s Day, dance competitions and shows, or just flowers for myself). I’ve ordered from here or walked in on many occasions over the years and usually almost the first place I think of when I need to get flowers. They are reasonably priced and have a good variety of different florals and foliage that I can’t get elsewhere. Today is Valentine’s Day and I called in at about 2:30pm to ask if I can just pickup 15 floral sleeves for a DIY. My daughter and I usually do this every year and is a tradition and we enjoy doing it, for dance shows and competitions. The DIY consisted of: wrapping and tying a stem of rose and a foliage in a sleeve for each little dancer. Today wasn’t an exception I needed to wrap 13 roses with my daughter for dance. However the individual on the phone was quite adamant that they “couldn’t do it at this time (today)”. I asked nicely and explained why I needed to purchase some sleeves. But she wouldn’t budge, because apparently it is the busiest day of the year for them. So I have these florals sitting in water on my counter that I won’t be able to hand out to these dancers. I was honestly quite upset and disappointed, almost angry, that they couldn’t accommodate for such a small request. But I guess it was because it was too small for Vday and wasn’t worth their time and effort. I honestly don’t know how hard it is to count out 15 sleeves and charge me $1 each if you like. I would also wait in line to buy them like every other customer. So kinda frustrated that something that seemed so simple wouldn’t be considered because it was too small in their books. Every time I would call in advance to make sure they had them available and as a courtesy before popping in. They were great in having them ready for me each time in the past but I was prepared to line up and wait to buy them today. Just placed a bulk order on Amazon for sleeves and water picks for our future DIYs.

I ordered flowers for my grandfathers traditional wake/ funeral service. I ordered in the morning and they where able to deliver that afternoon to the church. There was a bit of a mix up, the church actually kept my flowers in the office thinking it was for the service the following day. When I arrived at the wake I thought a certain bouquet was the flowers I ordered. As the night went on, I wasn’t happy with the bouquet ( thought it was mine) it was half dead. The very next morning I called and spoke to a gentleman and explained my concerns. He was very understanding and right away said that he would go down there and fix it. The gentleman went to the church right way and fixed up my bouquet but than after realized that those flowers where not there’s. so he went on a mission and found my actual bouquet. He called me right away and told me what happened. I apologized and was so thankful that they went down there and figured it out ( I was so upset I lost sleep over it) When I arrived both bouquets where beautiful as ever! I was so thankful and so relieved that my flowers weren’t a disappointment. They looked so beautiful for my grandfathers funeral. I would highly recommend this flower shop. The service was impeccable! Some places give you a hard time when your not satisfied but not this place. I explained once and he was more than willing to fix it. But seeing the ACTUAL flowers I ordered I don’t think you will be disappointed with your flowers. I ordered a lily and roses bouquet and they were absolutely beautiful. Remarkable service! We purchased a $70 bouquet of flowers (including shipping fees) for a family that was grieving and had them delivered. After seeing the photos of what was sent we were so dissappointed in the quality of the flowers. My experience with Petals for Less in Edmonton left much to be desired, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. This florist shop fell short in several aspects, resulting in a less-than-pleasant experience. First and foremost, the quality of the flowers I received from Petals for Less was far from satisfactory. They were wilted and lacked the freshness I expect from a reputable florist. This lack of quality was particularly disheartening, especially given the price I paid for the arrangement. Customer service was another letdown. The staff appeared disinterested and unhelpful when I expressed my concerns about the poor quality of the flowers. There was a lack of empathy or willingness to rectify the situation, leaving me with a sense of frustration and disappointment. Furthermore, the shop's website and online ordering process were clunky and outdated. Navigating the site was not user-friendly, and it was challenging to find the specific arrangements I wanted. Delivery was also problematic, as the flowers arrived late and in worse condition than when they were ordered. In summary, my experience with Petals for Less in Edmonton was marred by poor-quality flowers, lackluster customer service, and a frustrating online shopping experience. I would caution others to consider alternative florists in the area to ensure a more satisfactory experience when purchasing flowers.

Hopefully this reaches the right audience. This review has everything to do with the service I received and not the actual products offered. Outstanding selection as always, but the two girls on shift March 18th around 5:00pm were anything but. When I entered I was greatly fairly warmly by the one with brown hair but her co-worker proceeded to say any “ANYWAYS” as I entered the cooler as if I was interrupting her conversation. I was not offered any kind of assistance while browsing .. they were much to busy enjoying their loud and frankly inappropriate conversation. Upon cashing out I was assisted by the other one… while still continuing her conversation (rude). She tried to charge me for a full dozen roses before self correcting and realizing it was a half. Lastly I asked her not the wrap the flowers and she proceeded to tell me in a very condescending tone I might add “It’s for the weather.” Which mind you makes perfect sense .. had I not been going to put them on a grave; I replied just that. Unfortunately as beautiful as flowers may be, sometimes the reason behind them isn’t so pleasant. A reminder to the people that work there.. sometimes a smile and some good customer service can do wonders on a otherwise bad day. I hope she sees this and is able to make the necessary corrections to her sales approach. Better yet if she is so bothered by helping people perhaps a different job is in order.

I've been a Customer here for almost 30 years and have never been disappointed. NEVER! I always go in and either pre-order or select one of the many beautiful arrangements in their walk in cooler. Their arrangements are the best and their skills show through. I've purchased flowers for my mom for her birthday or mothers day each year, a long with cut flowers for my grandmother's urn at her resting place to celebrate mothers day. Out of all those purchases of well over 50 arrangements, my mothers reaction was always one of admiration and appreciation of the beauty. My mom passed away a few days after her birthday just before Christmas and her service was yesterday. I called them, they remembered me and told me the arrangement I requested would be embellished in appreciation of our long term relationship. They weren't kidding and practically doubled the size and added some beautiful flowers and nice touches. So this next mothers day, my mom and grandmother will still be receiving flowers from Petals fior less, and although their immediate reaction is no longer, I will always have the memories of the ones I was fortunate to witness. Thank you for being part of my mothers life.

We ordered Mother's Day flowers several days in advance and even made arrangements to have the flowers delivered a day early (Saturday) so as to avoid any possible delivery issues on Sunday. The order was confirmed and our credit card was billed. Unfortunately Petals for Less did not deliver, so no flowers for my 80 year old Mom. I called on Sunday when the delivery did not come and was told that there was a backlog and that all Mothers Day orders would get delivered by end of day Sunday. When there were still no flowers on Monday, I called again and was told that our order was misplaced. They offered to send something out on Tuesday, but I declined based on the poor experience and asked to cancel the order and refund our money. I am still waiting for a credit and am not overly optimistic as this point. This does not appear to be a very well managed company and the customer service is non-existent.

The residents of the Vilna Lodge were in for a treat today. They made their own flower bouquet with flowers from Petals For Less. The look on their faces when they saw the flowers was so worth it, followed by "This is the best day!" "Oh my goodness, they are so beautiful!" A huge thank you to Hannah for the great customer service in not only picking the flowers but doing everything to ensure we were pleased. She did not disappoint! We would hug her if we could. They loved the activity and proudly showed off their creations. They are now sitting proudly on their tables. They think you need a ten star button because five is not enough! This was the first time I have been to this location and certainly will not be the last. I went in about a month ago to prepay for an arrangement for my mother's birthday. I had a horrible experience ordering an arrangement online for mothers day (not from petals for less) and I decided to go in and speak to an actual person. The staff was so extremely friendly and welcoming. I know absolutely nothing about flowers and the lady at the front asked me basic questions and voila! I was text pictures to my phone before delivery and I couldn't believe my eyes they were stunning! Thank you so much everyone for the beautiful arrangement you made my mothers birthday.

Fantastic service! Staff walked me through my very bumbling questions as I figured out what I would need to order in bulk for my wedding centrepieces. On the day I picked up, I was invited to the back to watch my order be counted out, stem for stem, with extras thrown in at every turn. The flowers were fresh and lasted for days, I want to say a week even. The fellow who helped me out even gave me his cell number in case I ran short and needed extra flowers in a pinch. The prices were very reasonable and the customer service helped put me at my ease on the day before my wedding.

This place is fantastic! I bought some flowers here for my sisters graduation and the owner was so helpful and got me in and out very quick since I had to catch a bus to school. I love that they’re open very early and close very late unlike many other flower shops in Edmonton. There is a large variety of flowers available that are all fresh and beautiful, good for any occasion and the prices are very affordable. You will not be disappointed. We had a family friend order what we thought was a funeral spray for my sister who passed, but after it was delivered to the funeral home, we were told it was a bouquet and we advised them it should have been a spray. The funeral called on our behalf and it was fixed ASAP, no extra charges as I’m pretty sure there should have been, and was delivered in time for her funeral the following day. Honestly so thankful for the great service and beautiful spray for my sisters coffin, thank you so much ❤️

I went to Petals for Less to order a large volume of loose stems to use in the creation of my friends wedding bouquets. I was pleasantly surprised at the wide variety of flowers there were to choose from as well as the assistance in getting in whatever I was requesting. Upon pick up of the flowers, the staff member noted that some of the chocolate cosmos had not come in as nice as expected, so she threw in a few extras just to ensure I would be covered. My husband received some flowers from work for attempting to save a mans life, and without going into detail they were less than quality product at first. However after a quick phone call with the shop and some photos exchanged, they were quick to rectify the situation. The new flowers are perfect, and certainly have won the approval of my husband. Thats just for customer service i received otherwise seems like they have everything there. Usually go to different place but on labour day it was closed but when i visit there seems like people working dont like customers not even intrested what customer wants. Had to get a flower arrangement (on a long weekend) for my mother's birthday. There was so many beautiful arrangements to pick from. My mother loved her flowers. These flowers traveled from Edmonton to the cottage and on to Calgary. The quality and freshness was evident as this arrangement lasted 27 days. I recommend this shop to everyone.

I came in looking for flowers to redo the butterfly enclosure for my grandma's 90th birthday. They were extremely helpful in getting me the dried flowers I wanted to build this. They made an old lady extremely happy to have her favorite butterfly surrounded by such beautiful flowers that will last a very long time!
