I took my Goldendoodle to Petco for grooming as I usually do in August 2021. Within a week of grooming my dog began to itch/scratch uncontrollably. He began to lose hair by the clumps. I take pictures of my dog often so I have pictures of the balding spots as they developed. After 3 vet visits and almost $1,000 in vet fees my dog has Sarcoptic Mange. I do not take my dog to dog parks, and Petco was the only place that I took my dog where he would be around any other dogs. We are a 1-dog family. I have 2 small children (6 and 4). I am utterly disgusted and broken that he contracted this and I am certain it was from Petco. Sarcoptic Mange as you know is highly contagious and the level of cleaning and care is AWFUL!! I’ve had to quarantine my dog from my kids and the look on their faces and his was heart breaking. I understand how busy the grooming department is but I will NEVER bring my dog back to Petco for grooming. I should have been notified that a pet was serviced in the facility who had mange. If this was unknown then your staff needs to reach out to all families who were serviced on 8/28/2021 at the Presidio location to advise them of the contamination. Time line of events: 8/28/2021 Grooming at Petco 2241 Porter Creek Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76177. 9/9/2021 noticed red spots on my dog and he began to itch/scratch more than usual. 9/15/2021 noticed bald spots on my dog and his itching intensified. 9/21/2021 noticed complete hair loss on paws (crow’s feet). 9/23/2021 Took him to Bonds Ranch Animal vet @ $346.03 for evaluation. The vet assumed he had allergies and we began an allergy regimen. Switched dog food and dog treats assuming allergies. 11/4/2021 Took him to CityVet for a second opinion @ $281.81. A skin impression performed and a regimen to treat the skin bacteria and skin infection suggested, again assuming it was allergies. 11/26/2021 He was not getting better so back to CityVet for a third opinion specifically requesting a check for mites. A skin scraping was performed which confirmed he had Sarcoptic Mange. Total Vet bill $366.32. Total Vet fees $994.16

My wife and I visited this Petco yesterday and it's probably the saddest Petco we've ever been to. I don't know if we just went on a bad day or what, but it was pretty rough. The lighting was weirdly dim, which already made it feel sort of gloomy, and it smelled pretty off as soon as we walked in. We first stopped at the betta fish where at least a few were clearly dead. Not necessarily unusual, sadly, but still. Next we stopped by the other live fish displays. All of them, without exception, were filthy, had little or no lighting, and were sparsely populated. It was all really sad looking. We visited the ferrets next, and again, their enclosure was just full of feces and you could smell it (beyond just the expected stink of ferret.) The ferrets themselves, though, seemed bright and playful and energetic. They had two water bottles in there, but it looked like one of them was empty, so a couple of the ferrets were fighting over dibs on the remaining one. The large bird display with all the parakeets in it seemed OK, but around the corner was a small cage with a single, larger parakeet in it. The cage was sparsely furnished, with only two small hanging toys and a perch. The bird inside it seemed anxious and distressed, and I'm pretty sure it was trying its hardest to get through the bars to bite us. The cages for the hamsters/guinea pigs/rats all seemed OK, except maybe having too much bedding? There was enough to reach to the bottom of the exercise wheels to where it seemed like they couldn't actually turn. Just all-in-all a very odd experience compared to other times we've visited other Petcos or PetSmarts.

I decided to come to PetCo because they tend to have a higher variety in aquatic plants and fish. I came in at 6:47pm. I was not greeted or helped out at on the floor. The store was not busy at all. I looked around in the aquatics section for a few minutes. I found two female employees chitchatting at the cash register. No line. They looked at me (and continued conversation) but did not acknowledge me until I came right up to them. I asked for help in the aquatics section and they told me the aquatics section was closed. It was 6:58pm. 1) Why are the tank lights on then? 2) Why would aquatics be closed when the store doesn’t close until 8pm? 3) PetCo and the aquatics section are not two separate stores. They should have the same hours. It doesn’t make sense. 4) PetCo needs to train their employees how to take out fish properly for customers. Not every customers schedule line up with the aquatics specialists schedule. If you are going to work at a pet store you should know how to work in all stations/ sections. I drove to Petsmart in Alliance. It was mildly busier than PetCo and I was still greeted by the cashier who had a very long line. I went to the aquatics sections and was immediately asked if I needed any assistance. I asked them if the aquatics section was still open and they confusingly said “yes, of course”. THAT makes sense.

I booked two appointments for my dogs. I was told they were priority because they were the only two booked. The grooming package states that they will Cut and style, Deep-cleaning shampoo, Blow-dry, 15-min brushout, Scented spritz, Gland expression, and Nail trim. However, on one of my dogs I asked to leave the nails be and the other to trim them. The one I asked for a trim did not get her nails done. That same dog did not get her gland expressed. On this same dog, they did not clean out her private area at all. I don't mind waiting to get everything we paid for, but we were told everything had been done. If you need to take those things off the package deal and put them as an add on that way you cannot charge us for it. If it's in the package, it should be done and told to the customer if they were unable to do it and then discounted. Not "If we don't have time to do it, you still have to pay for it." What the groomer said. If I have an appointment, you shouldn't run out of time. I was scheduled. I even came in EARLY. Dogs smell good, much cleaner than they were before. Just disappointed in the menu prices / options / "if we can't get to it, you still pay for it."

I love the Presidio location. The staff are friendly, and extremely helpful without that hovering feeling you get at other places. My lower score was due to the narrow isles and the lack of some of your stock. You can't fit down an isle walking without a basket and not bump into the other customers in the one you need to use to get to items you came for because they're letting their 3 year old sit on the floor looking at the mice. Don't get me wrong, I love that the little boy wanted to look at the them, but the isles need to be wider. You have the space in the store to do this with the right rearranging. As special with the social distancing going on right now. You also were out of a lot of Ferret accesories that I needed to purchase and had to settle for something else for my ill Ferret to sleep in. You're always out of the large 17x17 hammocks. You also have the smallest selection for them available to purchase in store. We have resorted to purchasing most of our items from Amazon or EBay. There are a lot of Ferret owner in this area and the supply does NOT keep up with the demand.

I will never go back here. Had scheduled grooming service online the day before for both of my dogs. After packing them up and driving there they make up a lame excuse that their online service is new and only had one scheduled. They also tried to come up with an excuse about my dogs vaccine shots. I showed them a receipt that I purchased a one year vaccination on December. The girl there said that was not good enough and really gave me a hard time. The manager Then came over and said my receipt would be okay and mentioned their was a cancellation so we should be abl to get both dogs. The groomer came back from lunch and talked with a manager and said she could only do one. Instead of doing the right thing that a corporation should do and go ahead and book both dogs since it appeared to be their error, they denied service of one of my dogs. Keep in mind it’s a smaller dog. I understand grooming is a time consuming service but they clearly showed that they don’t care to keep a regular customer. I will now tell all people to avoid Petco. LOOK ELSWHERE FOR GROOMY SERVICE.

Alexis was again aggressive on the phone when I called and asked about why I wasn’t able to book a grooming service for my dog. She was very rude and lied about what she supposedly told me. This is a very unsettling interaction again with Alexis for no reason. She wouldn’t even let me ask questions but she kept interrupting me. You guys need to look into her conduct ASAP. This is unacceptable. I’ve literally seen her be aggressive with my dog before so I’m pretty sure she’s just a bad apple in general. I even spoke with Danielle who is supposed to the manager and I could sense she also had an attitude as soon as she got on the phone. When I told her what had transpired she only believed Alexis’s POV and dismissed mine completely until the end of our conversation. I truly hope my conversation was recorded because it’ll show that I was not provided customer service. Alexis shouldnt be working anywhere where customer service is required. All the bad grooming reviews are talking about her going back at least 2 years? And Petco won’t do anything about it?? That’s crazy

There are so many things to say about this Petco. One day We were looking for cory cat fish. We asked an employee if they have it. He replied “I don’t know what it is” then walked away right away. Wow. 50% of the groomers have bad attitude and awful grooming skill. Half of the time my dog came home with cuts and bleed. I thought it was my dog’s problem before but since I sent him to Petco at Watauga he never gets cuts or blood on him. Here is the thing. There are many Petco but the experiences can be different. It’s all about management. I actually called this store to make a complaint before. It was about a mean groomer. She called us and ask us to pick up the dog ASAP with her nasty attitude like always. She only called us once. And I did call the grooming department to check if my dog was ready but no one answered. The manager I talked to didn’t give me bad attitude but she told me if the grooming department didn’t answer the phone then I SHOULD try to talk to the customer service. See! Blaming the customer for their own faults.

Staff is always friendly and helpful if you need something. Items and brands that you find in stores and some that you'd find in speciality stores are available. The items available will cater to the majority so if you are looking for a limited or special diet pet food you'll probably have to continue purchasing these items elsewhere. I purchase The Honest Kitchen brand and I was thrilled to see this brand in their store. If you want grain free or the dehydrated food (not special diet) you will find it for a good or competitive price. I purchase the limited ingredient beef, dehydrated food which is not stocked. It is a special diet food and costs a little more than the standard food so I can understand why they would not keep it in stock. Overall this store is conveniently located, if I need a toy or a singing birthday cake this is my "run" to store. I have never used their grooming service or any other services that may be offered so I can not comment on any of these services.

As an expert reviewer: Visited this store a few times recently and disappointed to interact with unprofessional management (Managers) and team members that are not unable to answer questions/ lacking knowledge on animals. This store is constantly understaffed and the management solution was to close down sections of the store since they were unable to leave to counter to assist at some times and could then for others… it was an unorganized mess and the manager was dishonest about availability of a product, not realizing I was just at the store and had to return to pick that item up. And found it was in fact there. The store was open for another four hours so this was unacceptable. All else was a waste of time explaining over this review. *The problem I have had seems to continue to be a problem based on other reviews (with a generic store auto response) - consider retraining your staff and managers, which might help in who can work different section vs turning customers away.

Don't buy from here. If I could rate this place 0 stars, I would. They sell lizards that eat crickets and then act like it's a hassle when you try to purchase crickets from them. In the past, after some subtle complaints about having to collect and sell the crickets, they would sell them at 120-140 at a time (which is less than a week's worth). THEN, today, the lady at the counter told me they never sold more than 50 at a time. I told her I had purchased 120-140 from them multiple times. She told me they don't do that, essentially calling me a liar and telling me the closest place to purchase crickets at that amount is in Arlington. What a joke! I'm going to Petsmart to purchase crickets momentarily. From my experience with them, Petsmart won't complain about getting the crickets either. I encourage all other shoppers to get their animals, supplies, and services from Petsmart and not the joke of a pet store called Petco.

Usually I don't leave positive reviews but I wanted to come on here and say what an amazing job Alexis did with grooming our dogs. We have 3. One has such bad anxiety that she can barely even ride in a car. Alexis was so kind and understanding of Ellies anxiety. She took her time and made her feel comfortable. Ellie looks the best she has in years thanks to Alexis. The next dog Evvie had a spot that Alexis was concerned about so we took her to the vet and sure enough it was the onset on a hematoma. She saved us hundreds of dollars! It was able to be treated with antibiotics and steriods instead of surgery. Lastly our Emmie girl is 13 years old can barely see or hear and she walked out looking like a puppy. I couldn't be more pleased about the experience we had with Alexis and Petco will continue to have our business as long as she is there.

Took my 11 year old Xena to get groomed. First time, did a wonderful job with no issues. Second time I scheduled an appointment I got a call back because my dog has a bladder leak sometimes when she gets up from playing hard; but was refused service. Alexis made my Xena sound like she was about to die with her bladder issues. That is not the case and perhaps petco should stop taking dogs over 6 years old if they don't want to deal with senior dogs/animals. I don't appreciate the discrimination against my dog and you wouldn't turn a human down for having bladder leaks. Alexis stated that I take her to a vet because of her bladder... which the vet only recommends vitamins and therapy for weak muscles. This is being done on our part but still refused by Petco. You just lost my business and I will never recommend your company to anyone else.

Grooming department is a joke. I have taken my pup 2 different times. First time they cut her ear. To the point of bleeding. 2nd time I dropped my pup off at a 10:30am appointment. Around 3:30pm I decided to check on her. THEY DIDN’T EVEN KNOW MY DOG WAS THERE! Had no clue! How? Is my question. The so called manager, Alexis claims they had new people. My dog sat in a small cage with them walking back and forth but they didn’t know she was there! I went to get her. Alexis hands me the dog tells me it’s on Petco because of what happened. Now she is claiming we walked out without paying. What!? You handed me my dog and no paper how did we walk out!! You had my dog all day and had no clue she was there. So if you want careless and lying service take a change on getting your dog groomed here. NEVER AGAIN!!

Misty at the front desk has a nasty attitude and demeanor upon my arrival for my pups grooming appointment, her attitude was horrible and she spent the first 20 minutes questioning my dogs records even though they were all there. I was also told that somebody else was supposed to arrive to do my dogs grooming besides misty. She ended up doing it, which I was already uncomfortable with from check in. After I arrived after 3 hours of my pup being there, I found the staff socializing, eating, drinking, not wearing a mask, and not servicing my dog. Overall, the staff seemed very unprofessional and comfortable with talking to other employees about their customers. It even seemed like they didn’t want to be at work that day to service my dog, I will not be back to this location.

i had gotten a huge betta fish on sunday, it died wednesday of severe swim blatter disease. i rescued him in hopes of getting him back to normal, but it was just too bad. i hate how petco loves to check the ph of water and have all these requirements to return a dead fish, but they can’t even take good care of the ones they got at the store. i saw 5+ fish in there with swim bladder disease, 1 dead betta, and the kicker is that all of their containers are about half way empty. i keep my fish in 5 gallon tanks, but employees tell you that’s the minimum even though they keep their fish in containers they can’t even keep up with. they don’t care about their fish, so if you’re shopping for bettas i suggest petsmart, the owner knows what she’s doing there!

As I was leaving this store today I witnessed the groomer who was grooming a brown poodle yanking the dog’s paw and yelling at the dog for not staying still. The groomer yelled so loud at the dog that I was able to hear her through the grooming door while I was near the exit door. If that was my dog I would have been in that back room and probably headed to jail very shortly after. I would NEVER bring my dog to this groomer after what I saw today. I will not even be shopping at this store. How can you hire people to take care of our pets who obviously don’t have the patience to do their job correctly? I am completely disgusted and I hope that whoever’s baby that woman was yelling at reads this and never takes their dog back their either.

We went to buy fish. The worker wouldn't stop cleaning the outside of the fish tanks so me and my children could look and it was a Saturday morning, you think one of there busier days. He then wouldn't sell us any fish due to the size of the tank and lack of filtration system. He did not provide any help like help us find the items we needed, just basically refused to serve us. I was upset and embarrassed standing there with my little children and not being given any service or help. I just quietly put back all my stuff and left. I did think it was very ironic not letting me buy fish I had done plenty of research on and I know Pet stores throw them away every single day, eventhough they have all the "proper" equipment.

Picked up our new AussieDoodle outside Fort Worth and stopped in here on our way home. Very clean store and much nicer than our Amarillo location(which isn't bad, just not as new and clean feeling). They had everything we needed for our new pup. And the best part was Casey. He was very friendly and helpful and recognized we had a new puppy and got us set up with the puppy coupon book. He was hands down one of the best customer service reps I've dealt with in a long time. He seemed to take pride in his job and was knowledgable and kind. Everyone needs to hire a Casey. Thanks again Casey. And stop in to this Petco and you will not be disappointed.

This is supposed to be a place to not just pamper your little family members but where can get them their basics like food and treats. The prices are ridiculous and the fact that I have to have an APP, give out my information, and give up my privacy in order to get $5 off an already extremely over priced bag of dog food is crazy. I love my babies and I spoil them rotten. They can make me smile when nothing else can so I want all to know I'm not cheap!!! Petco is so over priced especially on the basics they don't even have a good selection of dog treats. I have never had a good experience there but after this app. thing I'm done!!

Worse service ever. Called for cleaner shrimp fir salt tank. Told yes they had two shrimp. Got there at 745. Yd me they were not selling fish because close to closing. Other person their was told they were too short staff to sell fish at 715. Then told closed you need to leave. They locked us in. Better off without. Tanks were horrible with many dead fish and other salt life. Never seen it so bad.....MGR that closed was a slob at best. Belongs in store. Only clerk was just as rude and nasty. Tossed patrons out and would not let them purchase what they had. Stay far away from this store.

Groomings fine. They don’t understand polite communication. We walked in when they were grooming our dog and we were watching through the window. Instead of politely asking us to not, she mouth yelled through the window “YOU NEED TO GO!” Definitely doesn’t understand customer service. Alexis is the employee, she needs to be put in check. When the checkout groomer rang us up she provided us with excuses rather than owning up to how inappropriate their communication style was. No more grooming for us there. Meanwhile the store staff there are AMAZING, polite and very helpful.

I didn't realize this particular was close to my home. I went in to schedule an appointment with the groomer and asked if I would still receive my discount for being a Thrive member,. Your representative stated I have never heard of Thrive are you sure your not suppose be at Petsmart. I have here a couple of years and never heard of this Thrive.I know this location does not have the veterinary clinic at your location, but it would not hurt to circulate a memo to your staff on what the Thrive clinic is and the benefits. Just to let you know Petsmart did take good care of me!

I went there to look around and one of the first parts of the store I go to is the Reptile section. I saw an extremely malnourished Ball Python hatch/baby. Ball Pythons can be notorious for not eating but most of the time it’s caused by stress and improper husbandry which I am not surprised if that was the case because this is Petco after all. The employee I talked to about it unfriendly and seemed totally annoyed despite me being friendly and kind about the situation. They also had Bearded Dragons on sand (Potentially Calcium sand which is absolutely horrible).

Store is unorganized and messy. Tried to use the restroom but it was downright gross. Brought the need of cleaning to the attention of an employee and was told, E: "Yeah we know. We don't clean it because of covid." Me: " um shouldn't you clean it more cause of covid?" E: "yeah we should but it's a whole deal and we have to put on all this stuff so we just don't clean it. The store next doors bathroom is better if you need to go." Wow, just wow. I'm a general manager elsewhere and just wow. I can't tell the manager how to run their store but maybe corporate can.

The grooming manager, Stephanie, did not review my account before refusing to groom my dog that has been groomed at Petco in Houston for years without any problems from the mild seizures that I reported. She then went on to say that other stores may not be strict about it. I believe what she should have said was that she nor her staff are appropriately trained to groom animals with disabilities. This would have been more understandable than blanket discrimination. If he was my son and not my dog her behavior and statements would be illegal.

I purchased a small bottle of herbs for cats. When i got home it was broken. I went back to the store to try and return it but I didnt have a receipt. The guy at the counter said he had to have a recipt to prove the item was from the store. I opened my bank app and it showed the purchase from their store for the amount of the item. He told me that didnt matter and I wasnt listening to him. I guess the only thing that matters in customer service is that the customer listens to the feelings of the sales clerk. Never going back

If i could give them -10 stars I would. About a month ago I had my 11yr old dog groomed there and they did a horrible job. They didn't charge me but only because I complained. I decided to give them a second chance today but was even more disappointed. I arrived at 930 for a 10 am appointment and was greeted by an extremely rude employee. Her attitude towards myself and my dog said she hates her job. I decided not to leave my dog with them. I highly recommend you choose a different location. This place sucks!!!!!!!

Love the grooming at this location, I've been to several different salons, and this tops them. They take great care of my fur baby here, she always leaves happy - sometimes, with new bandanas! The manager, Stephanie, and her team, including Bella - beautiful personalities and kind hearts. Keep up the amazing work. The store, overall, is a bit smaller than the usual Petco's I am used to, however, they keep our treats and food in-stock, which matters a lot when you're trying for an all-in-one stop/shop.

My son purchased a dog crate for 162.36. I had already purchased one in Amazon for 60.00 which was bigger. Went to return the unused still zip-tied/packaged dog crate and the managers explained they would only give store credit because I did not have the store receipt which was not given at the time of purchase; I only had the bank receipt which matched the purchase price exactly. I had no choice but to accept store credit. I will not shop there again due to the high prices and poor customer service.

Absolutely love this store!! I had a previous bad experience at Petsmart with getting my Yorkie groomed for her first time, so I took her here instead and had such wonderful service. Now we go here every time to get her groomed. She is naturally a very nervous puppy and everyone is always so nice and gentle with her. We go to Debbie every time to get her groomed since she does such an amazing job and is so good with her. Couldn’t say enough nice things about this place, love it!!

Writing this to hopefully encourage the store to take better care of their livestock. The fish area, specifically the saltwater fish and tanks were ridden with algae, and the fish do not appear healthy. They had a valentina puffer just recently that appeared pale, underweight. There is a yellow angelfish whose tank went from looking cloudy to full of algae. The freshwater tank of gold fish was extremely overcrowded. Please take better care of your fish or don't sell them.

This review is for the grooming services. Staff are nice, but they didn't text me when my dog was ready to be picked up. They never pick up their phones and return messages. I had to go there myself to pick her up because they never text me as I was told. My dog ran straight to her water bowl. My dog was with them for 6 hours. Didn't they give her some water? The customer after me said she didn't receive a call or text either. Oh and dog was nice and clean. Pricey.

i asked the lady at the front counter for assistance with the fish snd she very rudely said that the fish area is closed and i quote “have to wait a long time” to get assistance. she also said thats why the lights are off. like i would have known thats what it meant. she seemed annoyed that i even asked. i will take my money elsewhere. i have been going to that petco for years and that’s the first time anyone has ever been so rude to me what a shame.

First, the store was clean and had most of what we were looking for..... The employees are more worried about their social lives than helping customers. We were needing supplies for our Guinea Pig.... asked questions a couple of times to two separate employees... one was more interested in the bird she was holding while talking to another employee...the second didn't seem to know where anything was and only pointed in a general direction.

We've had the best experience with this store and the staff. We have enrolled our puppy in several of their training classes and have experienced training in different Petco stores. Their dog trainer, Rhonda, is the most incredible person and she is so good at what she does. Our dog loves her to no end and she has helped us so much over the past few months. We are so grateful for her and the wonderful staff at this location.

I received an email stating my order was ready for pick-up. I arrived to pick up my order, and while I was waiting, the clerk assisting me stopped to ring up another customer that came up after I did. Not only this, but I had to go find the merchandise I ordered as it hadn't even been taken off of the shelf. This was my first time doing an online order for pick up with this store. This hispanic looking girl at grooming area was so rude, I asked her if she can call someone for help since I walk around the whole place and couldn't find nobody but the cashier and she had 5 people waiting at the register. She told im a groomer sorry............ I know you are in the grooming department thats why im just asking for you to call somebody thru the radio or p.a. or something, useless people!!!!!

For pet food and treats I am more than happy to come here but unfortunately they do not keep some of their reptiles and rodents properly and I have to actively avoid those area of the store because they make me sad/upset. I really wish that they would train their employees better on basic husbandry and care for the animals they sell or at least have accurate brochures available for people who buy pets here.

Would give zero stars if i could. Do not go here if you want your pets in good hands. They lie about services, expiration dates, and accuse you of saying terrible things. Specifically Alexis. Every time I got my pet groomed I had to ask if Alexis was working to make sure she didn’t touch my dog. Today was my last straw when they lied about my pets vaccination being expired… so glad I switched locations!

Store is clean. Was actually here for a grooming appt. Was NOT impressed at all with the girls attitude and demeanor. Just her attitude alone made me not trust to leave my puppy in her care. We opted to take our pet to a manual dog wash. As for the store alone, I shop here often for specific items my puppy needs. Wish they had a little more toys and harnesses but overall it's a good store.

For the first time ever, I left my adorable Havanese at Petco's groomng department and he is now a Dachshund. The reason I gave three stars instead of 1 is bc Crystal, the bather, was so sweet and caring. Don't get me wrong, they did not give me back the wrong dog, its just that they shaved my adorable, fluffy dog, instead of getting him back cute, but the fur will grow back, won't it?

Wasn't treated well when we were at the store. First, we asked to buy two fish in their tanks. Were told they were on hold for someone else and no signs were posted as such. Then my girls wanted to see the ferrets and were told "unless you are going to buy it, we cannot let you see it"...? What? No posted sign of such policy. Poorly trained employees and service as a whole. 1/18/19.

Very good service. We come here often to buy food(and litter)for all of our pets we have cats, dogs, a turtle, and a rabbit. So you can imagine we come here a lot. They keep good care of the animals there. I once saw the cutest ferret and it was so friendly I loved it, soon after a nice woman adopted it and I was happy to see it get a home. The employees are nice as well.

Purchased over $100 worth of stuff here today and when I got my receipt it looked like a buy one get one 50% off had not applied. After looking into it they said that it didn't apply to the Kong toys I got. If it didn't apply then maybe the sign shouldn't say "all Kong and nylabone" and the sign shouldn't be almost directly above the toys it doesnt apply to.

Went in the other night to shop for supplies to adopt a baby ball python. They informed me about a 10 year old ball python that was brought in and surrendered by it's previous owners who were moving and could not take Slick with them. I ended up rescuing and adopting Slick. I'm so happy I was able to give him a good home with me. He's happy as well

I will never shop here again. I purchased an $80 bag of dog food and within a few weeks of opening the bag it had maggots. I tried to return but I was at day 31 of their 30 day return policy and they wouldn’t budge. I spoke with 1 male manager and he was rude and fighting with me over semantics. PetSmart has a 60 day return window. Bye Petco

He helped me with supplies for my new puppy made wonderful suggestions He was just a delightful person. He gets an A-Plus in customer service. I also used to shop at PetSmart but with this young man I will be a Petco Shopper from now on

This was mu first time at this store. Mariah checked me out and was very kind. Everyone in the store greeted me and asked if they could help. Not many srores left that care about customer service but this Petco does! Kudos to you for your outstanding customer service, and their prices are better than the other guy. You have earned my business.

Purchased 3 parakeets, 1 got sick and died in a week. Store refused to replace without a paper receipt which I would have kept up better with but I thought I wouldn’t need it since I spent the time registering my information when I bought the birds. Store manger was way less then helpful, will not be doing business with Petco ever again.

Being a Petsmart customer, I was surprise how nice Petco is (at least this one). They try to sell healthier / Earth conscious products and the prices as not exorbitant. This location has plenty of parking and very nice selection of dog toys and treats. It does not offer as many services as PetSmart, but the few things they do, are good.

Save your money and your time. Their “groomers” are a joke. Camryn worked with my dog. After she drug my dog through the back door yelping, I should have known right there not to leave my pet with theses people. Not to mention after picking her up, they didn’t even preform the service I stated specially needed done. What a waste!

This store has some very helpful associates. The store manager is great, and so was Amanda. They were patient and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. It was my first time to shop here and normally I use Chewy because of the convenience and price. I will definitely begin to shop here with customer service like this.

Was a little disappointed that they don't price match online prices but the employees were very helpful and kind. Returned the store bought items and purchased something different online from Petco. Shipping was fast and my pup loves her new crate. Overall good customer service and nice experience. I would shop here again.

Have not been as disappointed as I was the the other day. The price of pet food and the lack of options to shop anywhere else for my little ones makes it extremely difficult to have pets in this current day. A year ago the price of ferret food was a manageable $30 for a 7lb bag now its $50. The price gouging has to stop

They have a pretty good selection of pet food, they are the only place I can get the good bottles and nipples for my rescue kittens, can't get the filters for my turtle tanks there, they sell the brandof cartridges but not that brand of filters.I do use Petco veterinarian services and for the most part been pleased.

I appreciated seeing that they had All Gendered restrooms, but they were so dirty and nasty I decided to hold it and wait to go at home. (Ugh) This was my first impression of this store so I decided not to buy what I came in to get and just ordered it online while my son looked around. Vote with your $ ppl.

Hands down my favorite BBQ. The brisket is so tender it falls apart. The Jalapeno Smoked Sausage is just the right amount of spice. All sides except beans are extra. The beans honestly could be a meal all their own. They are seasoned well and tasty. Family atmosphere, and extremely cozy. I love this place.

Went in to see their ferrets, was absolutely filthy, bedding in food, litter box full and keeping them from water. Feces everywhere, flies. Tried talking to someone and they just walked away from me. If you don't like ferrets, hire someone who does and will take care of them. This is really sad.

We stopped by on a weekday afternoon to coo over some fury creatures. The store was very clean and sales associates were present and attentive. This location at the time had a selection of cats, birds, reptiles, and fish for adoption. It was a nice little trip and we enjoyed our time there.

It wasn't really crowded or understaffed, but there was no greeting or offer to help find insects for our bearded dragons. The bugs didn't look so well. We wanted to adopt a cat, and the people that run that were unavailable, and the store employees couldn't help with that either.

I went to another pet store was treated rudely so I came here and just loved it. Employees were so friendly and helpful. The store was clean and we'll stocked. I grabbed what I needed and roamed every isle making note to go back when I needed any pet supplies. A 5 Star store.

My family and I went to get some new fish and a couple hermit crabs. The experience was fairly effortless with the most difficult part being choosing which fish and crabs to buy. The people were most helpful and we will definitely be going back to that store.

I got my dog back from getting groomed and my dog had a few big gashes on his nose. They didn't mention anything happened to me. I noticed them when I got him home. Looks like they tried to tight a muzzle too tight or something. My dogs will not be back.

Great Petco. It was clean and well-maintained. Some of the animal cages were empty, but that's probably not the fault of the store. This location has a great aquatic section with plenty of fish options and a neat water sound generator.

I’m a saltwater fish guy. I can tell this location has fairly healthy saltwater fish unlike many others but the selection was scarce. So kudos to the good upkeep! Us Reef and FOWLR guys really appreciate your healthy organisms.

Grooming appointment was at 2 pm went back an hour and a half later they still haven’t started grooming my dog and now say I need to wait an additional 2-3 hours. Poor service don’t waste your time or money.

The fish department needs to clean the tanks, there was so much algae I couldn't see most of the fish. Some of the fish looked dead. Other than that it's a typical pet store.

The dog ‘treat bar’ is uncovered/exposed so the cookies, ginger bears, etc. are hard as rocks. Other PetCo’s have covers on them so the bulk treats stay fresh.
