I don’t mind the higher prices, it’s the price you pay for “convenience”. The opening cashier that works Mon-Sat is amazing and just a good dude! The cashier that opens on Sundays and works several nights is extremely unfriendly and unaccommodating. I’m sure bad luck is involved, but literally every time I try to go to your store when he is working he is outside taking a very long smoke break and have to stand outside for 10 minutes waiting for him. By then there is usually a crowd waiting to go in so you have to wait even longer because you know have to wait in a long line. So what should take 2 minutes now takes 15 or more and takes up my entire work break. I know your employees are entitled to breaks and know you don’t care about me or my experiences at your store, but just letting you know I will never go to your store again when that particular cashier is working. I have also stopped referring my employees and customers to your store as a result of that cashier.

I live in the area and understand that it’s expensive, but Peterson’s takes it maybe 25% too far. Real reason for review is false advertising, rows of alcohol advertised on special for $17.99 last night.... But was accused of lying at cashier when charged double, and then was showed the famous “I don’t make the pricing sign.” I understand that employees don’t make pricing, and I would never be rude to them... but that doesn’t give the excuse to not honor what’s advertised throughout a whole cooler.... The whole “we haven’t changed those special stickers in years” doesn’t work for me. It’s dishonest, I was in two weeks ago and didn’t see it! Be better Peterson’s, you aren’t the friendly neighborhood store I need.

The guy working was nice enough, that's the reason for giving 2 stars. BUT, very little actually has prices on it and he just made up prices on the go. I asked how much the 6 pack of Stella Artois and the guy pondered for a bit before saying, "about $20." Wow, expensive. So I grabbed beer that was clearly marked in the cooler at $15 for a 6 pack but when we got to the register we were charged $22. Didn't realize until we had already left so that was my fault. Also, inventory is low and it smells overwhelmingly like cigarettes. Strange vibe. Be wary.

This store is extremely unsafe to be in around night time. When I was waiting in a long line the clerk was overwhelmed and being threatened. A dog even almost bit a customer and lunged at someone above me. It was extremely scary and the clerk was also overwhelmed from people stealing and stated that the store needs to be shut down but she cant take a break or she will get in trouble. It was extremely unsettling. Next day security is there (thankfully) but your life shouldn't feel threatened by being in this store or even working here!

A highly highly overpriced "convenience store" nearly double the price you'd pay at any grocery store or even a well ok known convenience store such as 7eleven or plaid pantry. With much less convenience, hospitality, and manners. The employees seem like recovering addict's.. nothing against that. But the screening seems less than high. Overall decent.. but the prices are at least double any other establishment

Do not shop here. Cashier could not operate the pos system correctly so my card was charged incorrectly multiple times. Luckily I had cash. This store looked empty. Nothing restocked. Very druggy. Been here multiple times. It's the same vibe. I've been here since my review 3 months ago, its still the same. I work downtown. Honestly now I just walk up the street to a different convenience store by fred meyer.

The only reason I'd go here was to see Jason. Half psychologist/half philosopher. Always a sight for sore eyes. His friendly connection made my return always great. My heart goes out to his family. They need to know how special he was to so many. His gentle soul did not deserve the barrage of customer abuse. None of us do. Message to you in the bardo, "winner, winner chicken dinner."

All the employees at Peterson's are very kind and helpful!! Never have I had a grumpy employee.... And we all know that everyone has bad days but, these employees leave there bad days at the door before they start there shift. Prices are a little high other then that it's a great little store. Keep up the great work. You are all appreciated

It's more than higher prices that's the issue. This man was charging me for items I did not have. He raised bag prices higher than they were supposed to. Then when questioned he got frustrated and tried to fix his mistake. Hence the correct receipt versus the fraud receipt. He was trying to steal from me to increase his register.

Why is everyone complaining in the reviews about pricing? Don't you know it's the only store open until 2:30am in the area? They are friendly. You give respect to earn it. If you don't like the prices maybe relocate. Downtown=expensive. Yea, the booze is pricey. But I would up the price too if I was the only business open.

I am very disappointed. This was our first time visiting the city. I was walking into the store to buy milk for my son and some young kid stopped me abruptly from walking in saying "don't try to walk past me". Turns out he was "tired of people". I get he may need a break, but that is just not the way to go about it.

  • Bryan Points

Was told it would be an hour before I could buy something there because it was their break and shift change at 10pm on a Sunday on 8/6/23 didn’t know you could shut down for production by for that long? Owners how about you jump in and do something because this ain’t the first time I’ve been told this!

I'm so glad this place is open 24 hours. I needed food for my dog, cigarettes, and some snacks and was so thankful I didn't have to walk too far to get what I needed. They may be a little spendy, but I sure do appreciate not having to walk super far to get what I needed at 2 am. Thank you! …

A bag of chips and 6 pack of beer was over thirty bucks. SO expensive The next day to buy a pack of cigarettes and instead of the price they quoted $13.60 they entered $136.00 on the debit machine. And then pulled out bear mase and threatened us. So dishonest and gross. Do not support their business

Expired food... I bought a blueberry pastery. Noticed it tasted funky. The color was even wrong in the snack. Started feeling queasy. I brought a piece back to show the guy. He said they don't make the pastry, that has nothing to do with it expiring. They need to put dates on things and check them.

Love having a 24 hour shop relatively close by. Cashiers here are always nice. Other reviewers that are complaining about prices here should consider the fact it's a 24 hour place and that comes with a cost. Go somewhere else at a more convenient time if the prices are going to bother you.

The lady at the register kept my change ($3) and as I waited she just hurriedly told me thank you and I still waited since I was so confused seeing her put the $10 in the register but keeping the $5 in her hand. I’m quite sure she just pocketed that...

I love Peterson's! Have since I was a little girl staying with my mom at 'the georgia' back when it was called 'the kent hotel' Many moons agothe employees are friendly and down to earth. Also quick to help out if needed. Way cool …

I'm a man. Which is why it took me awhile to realize that the employee screeching "MA'AM! MA'AM! MA'AM! MA'AM! MA'AM!" was actually yelling at me for not leaving my bags at the door, in front of a store full of customers carrying their bags.

  • Rose Sommers

Hello whoever manages or owns this establishment; i have been standing in line to buy juice for at least 20 minutes with the same customer attempting to nab product. I find it extremely irritating that there is one cashier while 8 different

  • Christina

Not 24 hours. Just walked up to a person standing outside the door saying they were closed with no explanation except "we'll open when someone else gets here." Would not recommend an unreliable spot.

  • Paul Budlong

Prices are about 50% higher than Plaid Pantry based on what I purchased. Could of got 3 cans of chew and had leftover dollars for the price I paid for 2. Staff was nice tho.

  • shaun kirk

I used to be an employee there, service is always great, would love to intone more customers go there, biggest downfall is there prices... Gotta pay convenance tax I guess!

I will come and visit this location sometime soon. We’re sorry that one on Morrison will be Permanently Closed Forever and not survive after Construction.

  • Chad Corey

I literally cannot believe a pack of American spirit, blues and ecliptic starburst six pack is $32. One block away. I just paid $24 for the same thing.

Debit /Credit doesn’t work mid -morning so being convenient as a convenience store didn’t happen nor the $4 ATM FEE‍♂️ …

If you don't want to get ripped off in price for everything sold there do not go and people do drugs right out front

I give it 5 stars for my needs. Only place I've found open at 2 am to buy smokes, that's close.
