If I can write a review without even giving any star, I will. We made an appointment for grooming at this Petsmore branch for 2pm yesterday. When we got there with our dog a few minutes before 2pm, there were 2 staff behind the counter and 1 groomer in the grooming section. We asked the staff whether they are ready to start the grooming session, and the staff said they won’t be able to start immediately, but only at 3pm or 4pm. We were surprised by his answer. By then, the groomer came out from the grooming section and said again she can’t start immediately. When we mentioned we actually made an appointment for 2pm, they said it was meant for us to drop off the dog at 2pm, but pick up time is 3pm/4pm. Then the staff said the grooming session will only start at 3pm/4pm. We were not told any of this when we called up to make the appointment. We were very confused. When we voiced our dissatisfaction and also our confusion, the groomer suddenly said in a very reluctant and unhappy tone that “then I will start the grooming for your dog now!” and walked back into the grooming section. She told one of the staff to carry our dog into the grooming section. When we looked in the grooming section, there were 2 small dogs running around on the floor, 1 husky was on one of the grooming station without securely leashed to the station, he/she could jump off anytime, another dog half way being groomed, and finally another dog in a cage right outside the grooming section. And all the dogs were barking away loudly, non-stop. Our dog was stressed out and I would say quite traumatized by all the loud barking in such a small room. Looking at the situation and the emotional state which the groomer was in, we honestly did not feel safe and comfortable to leave our dog with them. So we told them we will not proceed, and left with our dog. The whole time, the groomer just kept quiet and did not try to provide any explanation to us about the confusion etc. She did not even look at us when we decided to leave. To say this is an unpleasant experience is an understatement. Needless to say, we will not come back ever. If you love and care for your dogs, please avoid this place.

After being a regular here, they know my usual purchases. I always bring my corgi here for grooming too. They are very friendly and very patient not only to customers but also to our pets. They handle every pet with care and kindness. There’re many regular customers here, we trust our pets with them. And they remember our pet by their names and even their attributes. They know my dog is afraid of nails cutting and handle it very patiently and advised me to schedule for more frequent visits and now my dog is slowly getting more calm and start to enjoy his grooming here. I want to say that there is a staff in it that is not honest. I bought something at Rm250. 50 today, because I didn’t have small change, I gave it directly to Rm300, after he take my money and said rm0. 50no need, just Rm250 then didn’t count my money and put it directly into the cashier ,i said i paid Rm300 but he denied it.he said i paid Rm250 I'm sure my money is missing Rm300 because I only spend at the shop after I withdrawn the money from the ATM. Disappointed with them I won't be visiting this shop again

Sent both my dogs there for grooming , at first say Rm55 per dog then say Rm65 per dog when I decline to join member. But total is RM145 if i choose not to join member. I don’t know how a grooming price from Rm55 jump to Rm65 and then Rm72.5 per dog. Both are miniature size dog with one being 6 months old. Never recommending anyone ever.

Petsmore Taman Danau Desa is not just a pet store but offers grooming services as well and are priced pretty reasonably. The staffs are hands down the best. The groomer is genuinely kind and gentle with the animals she handles. I trust her explicitly when she handles my poodle mix Egg Tart. Keep up the good job girls!

Want to ask about exchange empty packaging dry foods for free 400g IAMS cat food,if no more stock why still put the adds in front the shop? Last month come staff said no stock and give me other brand (purina one) but when my chinese friend come they have stock this month also staff said no stock but the adds there!

Its been 2 years plus we became a regular customer here. I always came here to buy our cat food, tofu and others with reasonable price. Nowadays they add in many choice of pet toys. All of the staffs here are very helpful and friendly. Thank you for the good service everytime we came by.

I walked in 5 mins before 8.30 pm. I was in urgent need to buy. The glass door wasn't even locked. Wasn't even going to take long to pick up dog food. Sometimes, you should know when to make concessions. I didn't even know your closing time. Sad to say, you won't be my first choice anymore.

Poorly stocked. Staff are friendly n nice but the shelves are very bare! I come here for the convenience and member discounts but honestly if they dont improve their stock, they will lose a lot of customers

It's a pet grooming/ pet food/ pet related things shop. NO ANIMALS ARE SEEN. I Don't think they sell animals. Summary. This is not a 'pet' shop. Otherwise, friendly staff and lots of petfood variety.
