Had lunch and ordered pho dac biet with prawn spring rolls. Also wanted to order a three colors but it was not available. The spring rolls were nice but the pho was not. The sliced beef had a gamey odor, the tendons and tripe were tough and not cooked thoroughly. Very disappointed in the overall meal.

Came here for the first time with my family. I ordered the large size beef and fat pho, far out it was a massive portion for a decent price! One of the best pho hands down I’ve ever had, very fresh and quality taste. The waiter was very friendly and helpful! We will hopefully be back very soon :)

My friend recommended me to this place and I was very impressed. The pho was perfect. Beautiful silky noodles in a very tasty broth, and generous portion despite being the smallest size. The prawn spring rolls were amazing too. This is definitely a new favourite place. More

It's amazing that pho places in the suburbs are always so generous with portion. The $13 larga bowl is gigantic and very satisfying. Very generous with the toppings too. Brisket tastes like butter. Definitely worth a visit. Probably even worth a drive to Box Hill.

Went to this place for lunch with a friend. Both of us ordered special pho and we shared a clay pot pork rib. The pho tasted quite authentic and we enjoyed the meal. The clay pot dish was good too. Not bad overall, might return for pho again in the future. More

Very good pho. I recommend the vegetable and chicken. I'm a creature of habit and get this most times and am never disappointed! Also recommend the rice vermicelli with lemongrass beef and spring rolls--super! Great Viet white iced coffee. Enjoy! More

staff was not friendly, went there around 4 ish staff was scrolling on their phone. The soup was salty and the meat was smelly. There was a fly in the pickle onion jar which staff did not notice, very poor hygiene. Very disappointed!!!!! More

Almost every aspect of our dining experience at Pho Huong Viet was subpar. The service was inattentive and brusk. The beers were room temperature. The chilli oil smelled fishy and the 'fresh' chillis had dried out like they'd been sliced up

The beef pho at huong viet is really good. The broth is very aromatic and flavoursome. My friends really enjoyed the pho, even drank all the broth. Downside was the chicken beef combination ~ there were over 10 chicken hearts included in my

This used to be my go to place for pho around boxhill. Sadly, the last handful of times I’ve been, they’ve regularly ran out of condiments like the Thai basil/mint and service has been very lacking… the staff seem like young kids on working

We ordered the broken special rice dish. The pork chop was dried and the egg should be normally fried leaving it slightly runny but instead was cook in an egg ring similar to the eggs you find in Maccas. It was so dry it tasted as plastic.

Came here because indochine is closed for renos but turned out better in many ways. Really great quality, fresh Vietnamese dishes. Service wasn’t great and tables were sticky but I wouldn’t expect anything more from an authentic place. Bun

Holy hell this was an incredible meal! I read on someone else's review that the pho bowls are very big and they like to get a small and a side. Very glad we did get small as a very large bowl came out. We looked around and the medium and

Stopped for a late lunch (3.30pm on a Wednesday) and there were other people dining in which was a good sign. Ordered the crispy chicken with rice and a serving of spring rolls. Both meals were presented very well as per the photos and

My favorite Vietnamese restaurant, the beef lemongrass vermicelli is so good, it’s hard for me to order anything else. The complimentary tea is good, the pho is very good. Usually busy but service is quick and food is tasty. More

The spring rolls were very delicious, rice paper rolls were yum and generous in size. However the pho was disappointing compared to a lot of places, the rice noodles in there were not as soft and chewy and broth lacks flavor.

Generous portion of pho even when ordering the small size. The beef balls were great. Slice beef was just a little thick and tough. Otherwise it’s quite flavourful especially if you add a little bit of red cut chillies. More

Had dinner there. The shop is absolutely filthy and floor was super oily. The tables and chairs were oily and not cleaned well. Service was below standard too. The water jug was so dirty, pls see the lid in photo attached.

Pho soup is average. The rice vermicelli portion is quite small and the grilled lemongrass pork is a bit dry and hard. 3 colour drink too much coconut milk. Can't taste anything else after you mix everything up. More

Fast service, decent Beef Noodle Soup, value for money. Soup base is decent, noodles is on the thin size. Combo beef is good. Friendly and prompt service. No frills decor. Everything came within 5mins of ordering.

Edible. Rice paper roll used the bbq pork instead of boiled pork belly FYI. Not traditional Viet pho. Broth’s sweetness was mostly from sugar. Noodles cooked too soft. Rare beef & tendon were fine though More

The small pho (from $13) is enough for one person, I found the broth to be too subtle for my tastes and needed more beef flavour. The pork & prawn summer rolls $11- the outer pastry was a bit tough, the pork

Pho was average but prawn spring rolls were good. Tables and items on the table need to be cleaned better/regularly, everything felt so sticky. More

Best pho in all of Melbourne. Seriously, we mean to order something different everytime we come but we always end up with pho. It's just so good!

  • montague smith

Nice pho, cheaper than other shops and offers other good dishes too. Close to home and service is good. Place is nice and clean too.

  • priya jana

Not an expert in the pho department, but decided to try it even after reading several negative comments about their pho.
