The funeral service went very well we thank Chad and the staff for the smooth timing. We appreciate that we had the chapel for a very large family all the way to great great grandchildren that all consider themselves all immediate. We appreciate that Marianne Ferro looked very nice. We thank you for the sign-in book that we forgot to purchase. The staff was very nice to us and we appreciated it. We have four to eight prior family members buried there. Luckily we purchased the plot for my sister when her two sons passed away in 2004. The planning of the funeral was a little taxing. My first visit took about 4 hours or so. I only had a $7,000 figure to work with including the 5000 insurance policy. They explained the third-party fees and was able to work it to a 7500 rounded up amount including tax. But we still didn't have enough to get a headstone. We did get some family donations but that went to the extra flowers and clothing. I came back on a Saturday had to sign some further papers and was told I had a balance of 258 within that cost. Had to wait quite a while couldn't see Karen that day. Never did get to see Karen since she was with other customers that day. I then came back during the week to bring the dentures and saw Karen so in total spent about seven to eight hours with the planning which was a little much. In the past with our four other family members took us much less time. They did forget to put Marianne's necklace on and took care of it immediately. Might be a little understaffed. Chad mentioned that there could be some glitches in the current charges and may not owe the 258? I am a bit confused there. I do request an audit of that contract so that we can see if there are any other dollars to put towards a headstone. All in all we were very pleased with how it turned out and was treated very well, of course we will be back again, hopefully not too soon. Thank you to the staff.

Don't work with Sandy!! After approving my brothers marker the final proof came back wrong. After advising sandy that the proof is incorrect she advised she would email me a new proof. Never got an email!!! After calling for about a week I finally got a hold of sandy again and was told the final proof would be in the mail. Got the final proof approval and the final payment handed to Sandy to be processed. After about two or so weeks I started to get calls from the financing company saying I'm past due on the marker payment. After telling them the pay off check was given to the funeral home weeks ago I was advised to call the funeral home myself. After all this frustration I come to find out that Phoenix Memorial LOST my check!!!!!!! I now have to do a stop payment on a check they lost and go back and give them a new check. Horrible customer service is an understatement!!!!! All Sandy could say to me was "once the check is out of my hands I have no control on where it goes." Well that's very reassuring knowing you work at a funeral home! Phoenix memorial is dealing with customers that are going through life sensitive situations and should have things more under control. Customers should not have to deal with stop payments and multiple proof edits on a MARKER!!!! That being said I know I will never be using their services again. This has been a nightmare already with the loss of my brother and I shouldn't have to be dealing to a funeral home that can't get their act together!!

I want to say in advance that I do not want to tell anyone how they should remember or celebrate the life of their loved ones. That is their choice and yours, you do what you feel needs to be done and I hope you find comfort and love where ever you can. If you have to deal with Dignity Memorial, understand that they want to sell you on whatever fluff they can. They provide an essential service, but they still a corporation. I am glad I did not go alone to make the arrangements for my loved one because I was genuinely uncomfortable with just how much they wanted to sell me, and while of coarse I had every right to say no and I did, I felt like if I had not had support and been in a worse spot in my grieving process, I could have felt obligated to do whatever it took to show my love for this person, and emptied my wallet in the process. Beyond that, I would warn that if any errors are made in paperwork, on their side or yours, be ready for a long correspondence of trying to get it fixed. For my families privacy I wont go into detail, but it has been over a month since my loved one has passed and we still do not have a Certificate of Death, as there was an error on the first one they sent out and it needed correction. I am not sure how long until this will be resolved.

My parents purchased their plots years ago here. My dad passed away in September 2021 and the burial & funeral arrangements went by pretty smoothly - Ashley & Sandy went through the process & Ashley was really nice & insured everything went without any problems - that would give them 4 stars. Now we are getting ready to work on my dad's gravestone & I was told that I need to get the information from Sandy - spoke with her a week ago & she promised to call back with the necessary information. I waited for 3 days - no call from her. I called them again, she wasn't available but a gentleman took my information and stated she'll call me back. For whatever insane reason - they have no voicemails. Of course, I did not get a call back. Gave her another few days & this morning called back again. I asked to speak with someone in charge - was put on brief hold & then Betty stated that Josh (whoever he is) was not answering. She took my name, phone # & my dad's name & promised that someone will call me back today. It is 8:20 pm and obviously no one called me back. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated!!! It should not be that hard to obtain gravestone information. STAY AWAY!!! Obviously people that work here have no clue about customer service and do not care.

1 star (because 0 stars is not an option). Follow up on review from 5 months ago. Donna stepped in and I was able to get my finger print pendant. It was ordered. Donna emailed to let me know it was in and ready for pick up on 8/26/22. On 8/31/22 she emailed again saying she was about to turn me into collections for the $298.66. I was out of town and couldn't get it on the 26th and I wasn't about to pay for ANYTHING else until I physically had it in my hand. That being said, I still do not have a headstone for my mothers grave (which was paid for in Jan/Feb 2022) so we are pushing a year come February. (Anyone know how I can turn them into collections for the custom engraving $295.00, Freesia Vase $271.00 and adult entombment $1,995.00?) I included the entombment price because there is nothing more than a piece of commercial grade cardboard with a curtain over her resting place. I understand if their contractor is backed up but they need to provided temporary stones with at least a place to put flowers for families that have to wait for engraving and installation of head stones to be completed. We will see if that happens. (insert eye roll) I'll believe it when I see it. My sister has filled a complaint with the BBB.

We had heard horror stories about mortuaries taking advantage of the recently bereaved and arrived expecting to have to argue about unnecessary charges and upselling. Instead we found caring and concerned people who actually worked with us to plan the service my wife would have wanted, select the casket and options she'd have chosen, and no upselling or pressure at all. In fact Hunter Peck came back after we'd completed our package and showed us she'd found a way to save several hundred dollars off the price we'd been shown. The celebrant, Caleb Klein, spent two hours with us just talking about my wife and gathering stories. He asked simple questions to get a full picture of her life and what she meant to us, and conveyed that in a excellent service. And they all happily performed the service on a Sunday afternoon, normally a day off for them, so that her friends, mostly teachers, would be able to attend. Although there was a small overtime charge for this (which we were told about right up front) nobody complained about the extra hours. We are so glad we chose Phoenix Memorial Park for this service.

My mom was laid to rest in August of 2015, I paid in full even her headstone, a year after her burial, and my mom's headstone wasn't put in. When I called several times, was suppose to get calls back and never recieved it, eight months after I called to ask when my mom's headstone would be put in and I was told they never ordered it, then they stated a rush order was being done, I was suppose to see proofs of the headstone before they started never did, kept calling and kept putting me back to the person who helps us and still he never returned my calls, finally I called to speak to someone higher up, well he called me and assured me that her headstone was on a truck and it would be place in a week or so, and promised me that I would recieve photos when it was in place because I am out of state, still til this day I have not recieved photos or a call to let me know that her head stone was placed. This has been torture on our family, just want closure and we can't get it. I do not recommend you put your loved ones here, it's a shame dignity is affiliated with this cemetery

No one wants to deal with a mortuary so the 5 star "loved it" seems a little inappropriate. My 5 star indicates "Excellent". My husband died unexpectedly and suddenly while working near Phoenix. We were stunned. We had done pre-planning with a mortuary in our home state of California, and of course thought it would be years before we actually needed it. Never assume that. By chance, we were given the Phoenix Memorial Park name as a contact. From the first call I made to the day my husband's cremated remains arrived home in California, the staff at Phoenix Memorial were professional, kind, and efficient. They worked with the California mortuary and made a difficult and agonizing time less traumatic. A special thanks to Jennifer who met with us on an incredibly hot day and handled all the details so we could return home to California. I urge you to pre-plan and if you live in the Phoenix area, do not hesitate to contact Phoenix Memorial Park.

Good Morning . On Friday the 5th of June I had a call to bring in my husband clothing for the funeral on Saturday. When I came in with the clothing the man sitting in that front office with ear length hair or longer, not Chad , I told him I was needing to bring in my husbands clothing. And instead of Good Morning or welcome or sorry for your lost he said, DO YOU HAVE A APPOINTMENT. My husband didnt have appointment when he was there either, Leah wasn't there so Chad came and we talked and he took all the info on the clothing and I told him about that other gentleman in the front office, how rude he was, no smiles just sat there, didnt even get off that chair. Chad very very nice and gave me his condolences and said that he would tell , either that man or someone in charge,,, I do believe this is the wrong job for that gentleman who was very rude on my sad day of being at your office. thank you for hearing me out.,

Worst experience ever, I never expected they would do something like that. My dad just passed away few months ago, so I just left his picture and two vases for the flower with fake grass because the place was so dusty and there was no grass at all until we can build his place. I went the other day and there was nothing there. I didn’t care about the fake grass because I thought they are working on it to make it look nice, so I went to ask about the picture and the vases and they told me that they had to clean up the spot. When I asked for the picture they took me to a place like a trash where all the pictures were on the floor and broken. I thought that was so disrespecting and I wish whoever done that to put him/herself in my shoe, where they see the picture of their loved once in the trash. If they called me I would of went and got it but of course they call when money is involved not for other things.

Horrible. My mother and father are both buried there. My mother passed away 30 years ago. I have visited her grave many times and even left my wedding bouquet because she missed my special day. My father passed away May of 2020. My siblings and I were informed my father could not be laid to rest next to her in the double plot that was purchased. In order for them to be size by side we had to “dig up mom” which I don’t care how you word it, that was what needed done. My dad was buried and it took weeks and weeks to finally have my mother moved and have them side by side. A base stone was purchased and after months of no markers placed, we were told the order was cancelled when they changed vendors but never reordered. We were assured a few weeks ago the markers would be placed. We are almost a year since my fathers death, still my parents are in unmarked graves.

I prefer to give good reviews but need my voice heard. It seems there is a severe shortage of groundskeepers and installation crews. It took months to get a headstone for my son and now it may be months for his headstone to merely be installed . Meanwhile, it’s heartbreaking for a mother to visit a completely empty gravesite. The sprinklers are always making puddles on the pavement instead of watering the grass. I’m told there are 50 other people ahead of my sons headstone that have to be installed. I feel for those 50 other people that are also visiting empty grave sites. Something needs to be done - we have all paid in advance for the installation and I think everybody deserves to have this happen as timely as possible. Perhaps you can hire a crew with the over $30,000 that we have all paid in advance and get this done for us!

My daughter passed unexpectedly in April. I’ve never dealt with loss until then. We were referred to Phoenix Memorial and I’m so beyond grateful. Everyone was absolutely amazing and helped us navigate through this process I had never expected myself to be in. Donna has been so helpful throughout the entire process. Our vision for our daughters celebration of life was brought to life with a beautiful room to celebrate her in. We had amazing floral arrangements to choose from in addition to catering for our friends and family. In such a dark moment in our lives, where it was hard to even breathe, Donna and her team effortlessly came in and made such a dark time as bare-able as possible with their care, love, and support for our baby girl.

Worse experience ever my son passed away 6 month's ago and visit his grave atleast 3 4 time's in a week, I stopped by 2 day's ago and everything I purchased was placed in the garbage due to their rule's. His grave marker isn't in place due to back order's. I understand there is rule's in place but I purchased a piece of land to bury my son and decorate for my comfort. His grave had a few light's with Angels and a cross and some flower's. Now one question why didn't all the grave's get the same treatment that had the same exact light's angel's and flower's. Why was only certain grave's targeted, I'm extremely disappointed in this behavior. Now I don't even know the exact spot of my son's grave. My son's name is Jose Rodriguez Jr

I want to thank everyone at Phoenix Memorial Park. I don’t think anyone walks in to a funeral home to plan a service for their child and says this will be “easy” but Ashley Taylor was calming and made it bearable. She was attentive right to the day of the service where she had everything all set up upon our arrival. She communicated through out the process. The outdoor setting was most beautiful and was very fitting for the Harley Riders to commence. Allene Cebe did a good job as celebrant. She noted that it was probably one of the largest in attendance she had done. After just a single night amongst family, and a follow up phone call, she made a loving tribute. Highly recommend Ashley and Phoenix Memorial Park. Mart E Bryant

Ned and Judy Walter were amazing during the process of my father’s burial. Judy Mercardo (sales rep), Donna (general manager) and Richard at the office are just awful. They do not care about helping anyone. My father’s ledge cost us over $14,000 paid in full because of you don’t, they will not order the ledger or headstone and it has taken over 10 months for this to arrive when we were told no mover than 6 months and they keep blaming the company that the stone is not available. This has been the most stressful and dragging process. They do not care nor have any sympathy towards anyone. I bet if their love ones passed away they would be on top of this. If you want a place that cares please go elsewhere.

Our recent experience With Phoenix Memorial Park was absolutely perfect from start to finish. While this was a very emotionally difficult time for us, the entire staff went out of their way to get everything completed in a very timely manner. They were all friendly, helpful and sensitive to our needs. I would like to recognize Funeral Arranger, Ashley Taylor, in particular. Ashley was so kind and made a very difficult situation much more bearable. Ashley arranged a private viewing that was so perfect, and brought us a tremendous amount of peace. The level of care and compassion she demonstrated went above and beyond. I cannot begin to thank the entire staff at Phoenix Memorial for all they did for us.

My husband passed away last month and I had a pre-arranged memorial service at the Phoenix Memorial Park Chapel. I worked with Carmen Cozart and Judy Mercado to arrange the Memorial, cremation and burial. Their guidance and gentle assistance made my event flawless and just what I wanted. The chapel and reception room was beautiful and just the right size for us. I received so many compliments on how beautiful the service was. It was a pleasure planning with such professional, caring and knowledgeble staff. I recommended this Mortuary to all of my friends. I most certainly will use this Mortuary for future events as they arise. Thank you Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary.

  • waynel mayes- hancock

I would look elsewhere if you are needing a caring staff to help you with your loved one's service. The chances are 50/50 that you will get a professional caretaker that will see you through from beginning to end.. We went to prepare ourselves before we brought a young teenage girl to help make arrangement for her father, no details or information was given to the family. Later on the director was cold and did not consider her age or the disheartening comments that she was making about her father that had just suddenly passed away. If it had not been for the Celebrant, that we had given directions to, many parts of the services would not have been done.

What the hell is going on here? Graves being digged up, holes on the grounds everywhere, Peoples flowers and belongings thrown everywhere.Called the office to find out whats going on.Staff name Judy or Julie said they been having alot of burials and their workers just haven’t got around to finishing up. They have to leave it to do other burials n they will go back to finish. Hopefully they fix the issues. This is terrible for business and people who spend alot of money expecting them to do their Job. Workers were in their go cart on their phones. No wonder nothing isn’t completely done.

  • Pamela Manion

There are improvements needed to areas of the cemetery. My Mother's stone is sinking in on her side. My Father's side is not so much. He is still with us thankfully. The grounds have looked better as of late, but still have a ways to go. They have literally gone over graves with large equipment that had malfunctioned, tearing up the ground like a 4X4 event. Not the fault of the dead. The cemetery needs to make that all right. I don't know if anyone has also noticed, but the west section does not get tended near the same as the rest of the cemetery. It's sad.

  • Richard Legge

Hunter was absolutely the best to work with. She has the balance of professionalism and personal touches that made the whole experience less painful. Caleb, the Celebrant, was awesome. He made the service so personal and relevant. He made any last minute changes graciously. We had many comments about how wonderful and how this service was the best they had seen. He is to be commended for his talents. We had the food catering afterwards. The food was delicious and the servers were great. I would recommend Hunter and the Phoenix Memorial Park.

  • Jim G.

Carmen provided us with such incredible and compassionate service, and was so helpful and attentive to every last detail. You are the best, Carmen. Thank you. We would also like to thank Brenda for doing such a wonderful job with posting and captioning my mother's pictures. And the tribute movie was beautifully done. Thank you to all of your staff for everything you have done, and for the beautiful rose that you sent to my mother's funeral. I am going to ask my brother to have you arrange for my services, Carmen, when it is time for me.

  • John Patrick

No dignity here...during the most difficult time of your life they're only desire is to UPSELL you. Oh and its not just the plot or headstone, or the food, or the cards, they want to sell you pencils and magnets. Also if you dont choose to buy their absurbdly expensive head stone ( and decide to buy it from another firm ) they penalize you. I would rather put my family member in my own back yard than here! The grounds are unkept and messy and they will remove anything you place on your loved ones grave if they didnt sell it to you!

  • Triple H

If I could post 0 stars I would. Since my mother’s death in January her crypt has gone without the engraved plate. My sister has been handling the details. She was given the run around for 7 months. I am now informed that the have just now ordered it, and it will be 3-4 months before it’s ready. This should be a rush job. They really don’t care. However it has been paid in full since January. This is unacceptable and we are at the mercy of them. They hold all the power, not to mention the funds. Please do not use this mortuary.

  • cindy marquez

Once again I have had to use Dignity within a years time. Once in May 2019. and now in August of 2020.I must say that there standards and quality of services still remain high.I was also very pleased that Mrs Leah was still there to help us on this 2nd time. She is so very helpful and pleasant, she listens and cares about all your needs. And once again they do not push any thing on you that u do not need. I would highly recommend them to anyone who may need these services one day.

  • Tiffany Snay

I am extremely disappointed in this facilities follow through. My mother passed in Jan of 2022 and it is now July 2022. I can’t even get a proof for the engraving for her resting place to approve. Furthermore, I’ve had to reach out multiple times regarding an order of a pendant I want and Ned won’t get back to me. I recommend finding another cemetery, unless being ignored once they take your money is considered great customer service. Truly disgusted!

  • Phyllis MacLain

The staff at Dignity Memorial is professional, personable, empathetic and efficient. During this emotional time of transition, Max provided a calm, safe space in which to discuss and finalize the arrangements. Arrangements, once made, were carried out seamlessly. All promises were kept, all details were attended to, and all requests were fulfilled. Truly a blessing to have such a sorrowful occasion handled so smoothly and with such dignity and grace.

  • Lori

Use another funeral home. No one wants their loved one in refrigeration for 2 weeks and three days while they are told the funeral home is "understaffed". No one wishes to have a funeral home fail at their promises, lack overall communication and not return calls or communicate about their loved ones plans. I will not be using this funeral home again, and I encourage others to review all their options before going through what I had to.

  • Deb Allaire

I lost my only son suddenly in August. Carol was kind, informative and caring. She let us know about different options available for his service. Thank you Carol for making a very sad and heartbreaking event more bearable. I appreciated the kind and caring way you took care of my son, myself and his family. I would recommend Carol to anyone who needs a caring and compassionate person to help them thru the loss of a loved one.

  • JOHN N

Hunter did an absolutely impeccable job. The service was wonderful, and she did everything to enhance it in every way, and at a very reasonable price. She was the perfect planner. We used their caterer, who provided excellent food. Every step of the way, she provided caring support, and didn't try to gouge me in any way, like I've heard so many places do when you're vulnerable. I would never use anybody else.

  • Sean Dossey

Losing a loved one is extremely difficult and finding the right place is just another added stress. I was put in touch with Judy as a counselor and was shown many options since I had no idea what to do. There was no pressure and all my question were answered. I found the Mortuary to be really pretty with lots of options. I can't thank Judy enough for a fantastic experience from start to finish.

  • Lee London

I am very appreciative of the care and concern that was provided to me by Phoenix Park and Mortuary. They were professional, sensitive and thoughtful. They answered all my questions promptly and never pressured me. They were supportive and helped me through this difficult time with the utmost support and expediency. I highly recommend them to assist in this time of sorrow.

  • E Wright

My Mother and step dad are both buried at Phoenix Memorial Park. My spouse and I decided way back in 2002 that we were going tp be buried there also. I could not have been more pleased to have Ashley and Scott assist with my husbands funeral. Everything went great without any problems at all. I would recommend Phx Memorial Park & Mortuary to anyone, they are the very best.

  • Chrissy Goins

The Staff are very loving, caring compassionate individuals who put their clients first. They pay attention to every detail to ensure the best possible outcome for each and every patron. At the most difficult time in our family’s lives, they made us feel as comfortable as possible, and my sister and I appreciate you all so very much, Thank You, and God Bless You!

  • Janet Thiem

We would love to thank everyone for all your help with Kathryn Hoyman’s funeral . Hunter Peck was very much appreciate for all her hard work along with the rest of the staff. They went well above to help us and make everything run smoothly and took awesome care of everything. Thank you all for making it so easy for us. Janet Thiem and the Hoyman Family

  • Marilyn Sheedy

I would never recommend them. Every step of this process has been unresponsive and inept with the exception of cashing my checks. They are quick to grab the money. My mother has been gone two months and they still don't have the engraving done for her niche door. Horrible way to run a business which should have maximum accountability for service.

  • Thomas Sallaway

This Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary is Great and Wonderful. My Dad is resting at this Cemetery. So is my Sister as well as her Husband. Leah Phillips is a wonderful Funeral Director and the fellow that helped is also wonderful. As far as the rest of the staff at this site is also a great help to our family. Thank You From, The Sallaway Family

  • Eiei Myo

Very unprofessional staffs! While my family and I were mourning. They were so loud in the lobby laughing and chatting away. I had to tell my husband to closed the door and ask them to lower their voices. If they want to talk and laugh do it outside not in the lobby where people are mourning. I am disappointed and disgusted by their behaviors.

  • annette petzel

3.5 stars. They were very nice and accommodating . However , we had to always ask what we needed to do and what should be done-- which when you are grieving, is difficult to think about things that might be needed. There was very little guidance unless asked about it. I feel they need to be more proactive in keeping the family on track.

  • Brian Johnson

Had services for by daughter at this cemetery. Judy was our funeral director and it went flawless. We used the chapel and catered reception areas. The chapel was set up so beautiful, Judy stayed in constant contact. Every staff member was courteous and professional, I would highly recommend Phoenix Memorial Park.

  • Keith Polk

Jennifer Peers and all the folks at Phoenix Memorial helped our family in our time of need. They were truly professional at all times and patient while helping us with our requests to honor our father. Our family thanks Jennifer and Phoenix Memorial for all they have done for us. I highly recommend them.

  • Burkha Arabova

Everything went well at the funeral. The only thing was disappointing is that even though they do not put up anything around the grave to avoid people walking over it, at least they could do is put a minor sign on the ground with the name. When called to ask said family has to do it. What inconvenience!

  • Ky Dale

i love it here. it’s really peaceful and a nice area. there are lots of squirrels (adorable duh). i go there to think and talk to people who are long forgotten. only weird part is there’s some dead birds around the street and sometimes annoying kids come and run a muck but other than that it’s very nice

  • Tom Busschaert

We were assisted by Julie & Erika in pre-planning our & our in laws future arrangements & cannot thank them enough for all their kind help. My parents completed their pre-planning 12 years ago with Dignity & when my mom recently passed, we had just one call to the Mortuary for all moms arrangements.

  • Shawna Peterson

My late husband, sister in law, grandma and dad are all buried here. We had issues with my sister in laws head stone falling in I brought it to their attention and it was fixed along with my late husbands. We have being dealing with this cemetery for 14 years and have had a great experience.

  • Sara Moe

They are great with the upkeep and most of the staff is helpful. I did hear a rude comment from under one of the staff's breath when I asked for help finding my great grandmother's grave. It was a very disrespectful thing to say to someone looking to find a loved one's final resting place.

  • Teresa Walls

Losing someone and trying to make funeral arrangements while grieving is extremely hard. At Phx Memorial, they help walk you through the process step by step. I found the need to call them after leaving and ask the same questions over. They were so patient and willing to help.

Did a nice job in handling what is always a difficult event. Staff were all professional and appropriate. No sales pressure throughout the process. Needed more help at graveside as 3 people are not enough to transfer a casket smoothly.

With my husband passing away unexpectedly young, my kids and I felt the glass front niches were perfect so we can see his photo and add items annually as we want to. The staff were so respectful and helpful. Could not have been nicer!

My mother and grand parents are laid to rest here. The staff was kind, compassionate and helpful. The process went smoothly. I had my mother's luncheon there and the food was good. They made the experience as positive as possible.

I/we could not have asked for anything more. The ease of preparation, the reverence and compassion shown to my mom and all of us was more than expected. I can not thank you enough for the compassion and care given by all.
