wow I am surprised that no one has reviewed this yet since everyone seems to know there is a problem with 1 of the drivers being unreliable. Phoned the taxi to pick up, he didn't bother coming and hung up when we phoned to ask where he was. Also if he says he will call you back he won't cause he can't he doesn't have that facility on his boat.So what he means is he is not coming but he won't tell you that. Today phoned numerous times for a pick up, it was in the afternoon 1.00pm then 5 more calls around 1.45, there was no answer. I ended up catching the fairy around 2.00. Do watch out if you need to get home and you are relying on this taxi service we had to ask someone if they could drop us back to where we were staying we had sent our young teenagers ahead of us and couldn't get the stupid taxi to come and get us, the fairy stops running early evening so we were potentially stuck and panicking. There is definitely room for someone to start up a reliable business and make some money.

Mostly good service. Important to know it is a joint venture and the drivers are independent business owners. I mostly love the service! 95% of the time there is no problem with the service but like the other comments here suggest, I have also been let down on one occasion which was very stressful with international guests who were left scratching their heads and having to get a neighbour up in the middle of the night to help us out, even after trying 3 times with 7, 5, 3 hours notice to pre book our return ride out to the bays (according to instructions from one of the very good and reliable drivers who let us know to pre book with the less service minded colleague). Knowing this I recommend you think ahead to Fridays and Saturdays and adjust your plans according to the pink water web roster.

Friendly efficient and professional ALL of the team will go above and beyond to offer excellent service it's important to remember this privately run service is offered as a courtesy to to the public as essential as it may be these guys try their best to be there for us in all conditions and weather with our safety a priority always. The pink taxi driver was very unpleasant and rude. We were informed that dogs were able to be transported however he wouldn’t allow our dog on (this caused a lot of stress and we have to do some rearranging of plans) We were quoted $60 for our trip however he charged $92. If you can I suggest avoiding pink taxis!

We used Pink water taxi for multiple trips between Scotland island, Church pt Wharf, and Taylors wharf. We found the drivers friendly and very accommodating. It is a little bit expensive but we do like convenience and reliability of this taxi service. we will use this service again next time we visit.

Very disappointing, this is a monopoly with scant regard for customer service. Prices are quoted at random. Return trips, only if they can be bothered and then at 50% premium on the original quoted price. This is a disservice to the community and only good for a one way trip at best!

The pink water taxis consist of 3 drivers who each own their own taxi. 2 drivers are great, one driver Alex is rude, unreliable and non service minded. If you planning on using this service make sure who is on duty because if it is Alex don't be surprised if he never turns up.

My experience has always been good. I feel they provide an invaluable service. Friendly, even in difficult circumstances. Best to give them a bit of notice especially in peak times. If they don't answer, they may be helping someone into the taxi. Thumbs up from me.

Very unhelpful and rude, he was unwilling to do any pick ups at all and when I asked if he could recommend another company as he was "very busy" he flat out said he can't help me. Terrible service and company

Terrible timeliness . These people have a monopoly . Can't wait till uber disrupts this. There is literally no other service sometimes. Kept us waiting.
