The good news : Let me start off by saying the food is absolutely amazing. I went there two days in a row in fact because the food was so good. We had meatballs, garlic, cheese, bread, pizza and salad. The marinara sauce was amazing and I don't even like marinara sauce. The meatballs were perfect. They're homemade. The salad dressing was also amazing. The bad news: The first night we went there with another couple. Two out of five of us. We're still sitting there 35 minutes after the others got their food without theirs. I asked the waiter what was the holdup with my son's pizza as well as my pizza. He assured me that it would be right out. 10 minutes later I called him back over and I said sir could you please find out where my pizza is? He went back into the kitchen and I could clearly hear him till another man in the kitchen that he forgot to put the pizzas on the order. When he came back out of the kitchen I called him back over to our table and asked him to tell me the truth. I said just level with me man. Tell me what's going on. Finally he said okay, I'll come clean. I forgot to put them on the order. I was fine with that because mistakes happen. We ate our food and went on our way. We liked our food so much. We decided to go back the next day. Oddly enough, the same exact thing happened once again. This time I asked the waitress what was the holdup with the pizza after my meatballs and cheesy bread, (which by the way were absolutely amazing) arrived 25 minutes prior. The waitress told me pizzas take longer than meatballs because they take time to bake. I told the gal. The gentleman sitting in the table next to us got here 15 minutes after us or his food. 15 minutes after us happened to get his two large pizzas 20 minutes ago. We were still waiting on our small cheese pizza for my 9-year-old. About another 15 minutes passes and finally my son's pizza came out. Instead of eating in front of my son, my wife and I sat there and waited for his food to get there and by the time his did ours was not even lukewarm. My meatballs were cold but still delicious nonetheless. I feel like this place doesn't care if they get a bunch of repeat business and that's why they're staff doesn't care. To the point: The food is amazing, but the service both times I've been here have been absolutely horrific. I don't feel their staff really cares and it shows. If you want some absolutely killer food but terrible service. This is the place for you.

Had a pretty good experience at Pizza Rock. My gal and I ordered a slice of pizza apiece (for there) and an order of calamari (to take back to our hotel room for her mom.) The calamari was going to take up to fifteen minutes so we asked if we could sit at the bar and enjoy our slices with a cold beer. The host said that the bar was open seating, so we made our way in and chose a table to the left of the bar. I went to the bar to order drinks. It took a minute or two before one of the bartenders came over. It wasn’t busy. There simply wasn’t anyone tending bar for that two minutes. Not a big deal. There is a lot to do in a restaurant before the dinner rush. I asked about IPA’s, was given a suggestion, two quick pours later and we were enjoying our food and I e cold beer. Please keep in mind, it wasn’t busy . My gal finished her slice and beer. I literally had two bites of pizza left when an employee informed us we had to sit at the actual bar and leave the table as they are reserved for guests dining in. To be fair, this employee looked REALLY uncomfortable telling us this and was as professional and courteous as could be. The timing sucked. I’ve been to many restaurants that have open bar seating and it includes the bar area, not just the actual bar. That being said, I understand the need for tables as dinner approaches. But the restaurant only had maybe six parties at the time. I had two bites left of my pizza. Whoever asked the poor guy to ask us to move should’ve considered waiting three more minutes. The difference would’ve been us heading to the bar and having a few more drinks, and a return visit one of the three days we stayed next door. The food was fantastic. Absolutely loved it. And the employees were all very friendly. I will definitely go back the next time I am in Vegas. One single disappointing interaction isn’t a good enough reason to avoid such delicious food.

This is the best pizza, for me. The dough is out of this world delicious. My fiancé has been raving about it (he lives here and I live in Toronto) so I was a little bit skeptical about the hype. I thought he just wanted to prove it's better than anything in Toronto. lol The first time I had it, we bought slices from the takeout counter. It was the last few slices so I was a bit disappointed looking at them. But boy oh boy was I wrong. I fell in love with the new york slice I had. Months later, his friend brought us to dine inside and we had the Detroit style and the picante. Ever since, I have been craving their pizza every now and then and would want nothing else. Make sure you know where to park, this is the walkable part of downtown. Price - 5⭐️ Variety - 5⭐️ Flavor and Freshness - 5⭐️ Drinks - 5⭐️ Vibe - 5⭐️ (great for big groups, music was nice)

They got staffing issues so the wait is gonna be pretty bad for a pizza slice purchase when it gets busy. Also the layout of the restaurant isn’t very well thought out at the entrance. The line for the pizza slices blocks the host desk for a table to eat at the restaurant. Also the food order pick up spot is the same line as buying a slice so you’ll have to wait in it. It loses two stars for those issues. Best to go when it isn’t busy. Other than that the food is great. I’ve had their meatball sandwich with fries, very delicious, on a nice discount for $7, was $15, on DoorDash and had some slices near the main entrance. Their regular slices aren’t that great, dough is soggy. But their square ones like “Sweet Grandma” are very good. Two slices of Sweet was about $13.50. Edit: Went up to 5 stars. Had a single “Sweet Grandma” slice and it hit the spot. Best slice of pizza I’ve ever had and I find pizza vastly overrated. It’s a nice big slice for a small tummy at $6.77.

Saw a video on google promoting Pizza Rock as a local hotspot, so we went here in hopes of a great meal. We watched videos of their signature pizzas before going and I will tell you right away you will not be disappointed if you eat here! It’s worth the trip, a block past Fremont street. Pizza was amazing, the food was delicious and perfectly cooked. Honestly I have only eaten pizza as good as this one other time and that was in Chicago. I’m telling you right now every single thing here is prepared to be the best every single time and I went on a busy night and still did not have to wait long! Our server Jessica was very attentive and cared about us the entire time. She was very knowledgeable and even helped us with directions to find our way back to the local bus route! Amazing experience I definitely recommend this place!

5 , A+, ! HANDS DOWN, PIZZA ROCK HAS THE BEST DETROIT STYLE PIZZA IN LAS VEGAS! My wife and I ordered their deep dish Detroit style pizza. The pizza was baked with butter in a blue steel pan that caused the crust to be really crispy and had caramelized cheese around the edges. My toppings of choice were onions, garlic, and good quality pepperoni that folded up into a cup when you cooked them in the oven. The sauce was fresh, savory, full of seasonings, and the cheese stretched because it was so milky. When I took my first bite, angels started singing in my ears, and I've found the meaning of life! The crunch was so loud that it echoed across the room! This is one of the best pizzas I've ever had, and Pizza Rock is the ONLY place I'll go for Detroit style pizza!

The DeVille is in the details. Took a party of 4 to Pizza Rock on a Saturday night, and it was awesome. We parked in a nearby parking garage (they validate parking!) and walked to this strip-adjacent spot. The 30 minute wait for a table flew by as we walked to see a magician and balancing act street performances just minutes away. We ordered two pizzas for 4 adult men, and it was the right amount of food for sure. The DeVille was the highlight. They warned us it'd take some extra time to come out, but the wait was worth it. Perfect amount of spice, excellent flavors, just amazing. Also had a build your own pepperoni, sausage, and ricotta pizza that was a hit as well. Overall excellent experience. Atmosphere was awesome, they have a semi-truck cab in their dining area and they're blasting rock music, so, fun times.

We were quoted a 45min wait for a table when 3/4 of the venue looked empty. We put our name and phone number down then got called back to the podium 10min later, this is proof of the hostesses overstating the wait time which drives your walk-in traffic away. We were then seated in Briana's section, and everything went downhill from there. The server was probably panicking because she got 2 tables seated back to back, she seemed annoyed that we were inquiring about certain menu items and in a rush to get to her next 4 top. My girl wanted a specific pizza, we showed Briana the picture that was posted online but she was somehow bothered by that. Didn't check on us during service to the point where we had to flag the busser for to-go boxes, she was nowhere to be found for a solid 12min. Abysmal service by Briana.

Pizza Rock was pretty darn impressive. I really liked the atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food. Wow! I ordered the spicy sausage with honey and then a chicken Caesar salad. That sausage with the sweetness of the honey was fantastic. I really had wanted to get a burger. However, they had run out which based upon how busy they were does not surprise me. The menu does warn that they have limited quantities for some items. Now I did not have to wait but it was just myself and I ate at the bar. When I checked initially I was told for a table would be about 1 and 1/2 hours. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Never thought calamari at a pizza place would be so good! It's so filling and perfectly breaded. The sauce it comes with is pure genius. We also ordered a veggie pizza, lasagne and a pineapple olive pepperoni bellpepper (the kids concoction) pizza. All of it was good and we left completely full. They offer Detroit, Sicilian, Italian, American, New York and Classic style pizza. They definitely don't slack on options.

What can you say about Pizza Rock... This place is Da Bomb Some of the best Pie we've ever had. I do believe they have 7 different types of ovens, all at different temperatures for all the different Pies they have. We always hit Pizza Rock twice while in town for the Nascar Race weekends. Outstanding Pizza and our mom always looks forward to the Spaghetti and Meatballs. Also a fairly great Beer and Drink selection and Wine selection as well. Definitely don't pass this place by. You'll be sorry if you did.

Had to give y'all a 3rd chance! And the whole experience tonight was great! Food was hot, our server Danielle was amazing!!! My previous experiences have consisted of bad service. But this time I skipped reserving a booth, and we went at 4. So that made a lot of difference. We were sat in a different area. Thank you Danielle, for allowing me to leave a good review tonight. She is a great waitress all around. She is very familiar with her regulars. I could tell that by just by hearing her talk to them. Great job Danielle! Pizza was delicious as well!

We stopped in during our stay in Las Vegas for Pizza and beer. The place was busy but they got us seated very quickly. We ordered the New Yorker Pizza, Abita purple haze and Mango Cart beer. The pizza was delicious, the crust was nicely cooked and the sauce had a nice flavor. The staff was very nice and friendly and very attentive. Overall we had an excellent dining experience.

We ordered three pizzas, the kid's pepperoni, the Margarita, and the New Yorker. The kid's pizza has a kick to it, but it was tasty according to the kid. It's thin, so if your kiddo likes thick, try a different kind. The New Yorker was delicious! Crust was on point, the ricotta and sausage made a great combo. It comes with mozzarella and pepperoni as well. The margherita was a bit over-charred but still tasty, no complaints from my guests. The meatballs were juicy, delicious, and highly recommended. Skip the garlic bread, nothing phenomenal about it. Total $88.75 plus tax. Will repeat when I'm in Vegas.

Absolutely amazing experience! We came after visit to Mob Museum and ordered from the Happy Hour menu, a personal pizza the Cal Italia and an appetizer of fried green beans. Don't forget a side of the calabrese ranch for the green beans! We then ordered two different pizzas to go for dinner, the Grandma's The Butcher and an American Hawaiian Hitman. James was awesome in keeping our drinks full and making sure we were doing good. Both to go pizzas were outstanding! Truly one of the best pizza dining experiences hands down in Las Vegas. Cannot wait to go back!

This restaurant is one of the best pizza places I have been to. There were many rewards and interviews hanging on the wall to show that this place won a lot of rewards. I ordered a Detroit Red Top. It was so fresh, soft, cheesy, and tasty. I could tell they used real ingredients and yummy recipes to make their pizza. People kept coming in and lined up quickly. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family!

This last time was disappointing although I had always been a fan of Pizza Rock and recommended it to several people in my life. We ordered the Margarita Pizza and it tasted very bland. The server never came to check on us and when we had finished the manager came by and asked how it was and I told her that the whole pizza was not crispy and tasty as the slices you can buy at the counter. She said it is because they are both made in a different process and oven and now I would know for the next time. And I am thinking, no, there won't be any next time for me. This experience was totally over-priced for what it was.

We had a great experience. our server is amazing I could not decide witch pizza to try and deciding between the Sicilian or the Detroit style was very difficult. So I got both. The Detroit Motorhead is a deep dish pan pizza with thick cheese and amazing taste and flavors, I would recommend this pizza to anyone. On the menu it says it would feed 2 to 4 people I would guess its more like 4 or 6 people. The Sicilian is a thick crusted pizza not in a pan the edges are a little crispy to allow the center to be cooked. The Mob Boss and the La Regina are both great choices as Sicilians.

I came here based on recommendations and social media. Easy to find with a nice dark yet cozy vibe inside. Kind staff with good and quick service. Now about the pizza. They had a bunch of different styles and toppings which you can buy by the slice to go which is what i did. I went for the Detroit pepperoni rosa. It was an enormous slice that could feed two. The sauce i felt lacked deep rich tomato taste. The cheese did not have much milky creamy taste to it. Now the crust was ok with a nice crunch but the edges were bitter from the overcooked cheese crust. It was ok

We heard great reviews about this place so we wanted to stop by a try it out. We only wanted a snack so we ordered two slices at the takeout counter. We got a slice of pepperoni and a slice of Hawaiian. After we ordered the kiddo wanted to eat inside because it was a bit chilly out so we asked if we could sit at the table in the dining area and the staff was wonderfully accommodating. The pizza itself was really good! I would definitely return for the great food and service next time I am in Vegas.

My order of the Detroit rosa pepperoni was utterly delicious. I came here with my cousin's friend (who had recommended the spot) and my cousin. While I have had pizza at other places back in Chicago, getting pizza here at Pizza Rock is absolutely a must-have for anyone who likes pizza. I will certainly order again from this place if I have the opportunity to do so. The image attached to this review is the Detroit rosa pepperoni and I have my Samsung Galaxy A71 5G camera (3:4 aspect ratio) to photigraph the pizza.

This is the best pizza I've had in the downtown area. If you just want a slice, you can't eat in the dining room. You buy a slice to-go and eat outside at the tables. Inside dining is for full pie purchases and menu items. The weather was good so we didn't mind sitting outside but I wouldn't want to in the middle of summer. The security is good and runs off people that not customers taking up space at the outdoor tables. I felt safe even tho it's a block away from the canopy. I recommend eating the pizza here.

We always order pepperoni pizza when we’re in town. Last year’s was better; the turnover was fast, the pizza was being made in front of you but this time, they were already sitting there. This year’s pizza was also a bit burned on the edges. The service was slower this year. The two servers were taking “our time.”

I recently visited Pizza Rock and had a great experience. Although there was a 30-minute wait for a seated restaurant, we decided to go for the carry-out option. The slices were enormous, priced at $7 each, and we ended up eating at the tables next to the restaurant. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The combination of delicious pizza and a pleasant outdoor dining experience made it a memorable visit.

Best pizza... I'm in vegas visiting from the bay area (California) I've been to italy, detroit and Maine. Best pizza is here in vegas baby!!! I had the detroit style (motorhead) and Sicilian. You Must try the detroit deep-dish Best pizza.flavor wise the pizza tasted fresh, I was able to taste every ingredient from the cheese to the basil which tasted fresh out of the garden. The pizza didn't need a side of ranch, parmesan or red peppers. They have everything for every pallete

There were so many more pics I could have shared but it would have been uncouth in the moment and its Vegas and…I lie. But seriously, the pizza wings and lasagne are legit. All were well executed and I understand why the wait is an hour+. This is probably the best option you have in the area and it’s worth it. While you wait, just head to the biker bar around the corner and you’re good. Or are you still looking up the definition of uncouth?

The waiter forgot to bring another Sprite for my dad, even though he did a good job for the service. The first two pizzas were delicious but needed a few improvements. Delicious pizza and a great concept! Service was good and prices reasonable considering it’s in Las Vegas. Pizza Rock is regarded as one of the best Pizza joints in Vegas and it definitely lives up to the hype. I went with the Detroit pizza which I had never tried before and it was delicious. I got it via UberEATS and it was already cold when it arrived but I still enjoyed it. Really good buttery crust, amazing sauce a very generous amount of pepperoni and cheese. Best tasting pizza I've had in Las Vegas. Taste is subjective and this is just my opinion. Got 3 slices, the red top, a pepperoni Sicilian, and the grandma slice of the day. All tasted great. Really good tasting sauce. Meats were good quality and tasty. Great crust just like I like it. (Thick).

A group of us went to Pizza Rock and ordered a couple of different Detroit style pizzas. I'm from Detroit and know what Detroit Pizza is all about. The Detroit pizzas here are the best I have had outside Detroit, and rival some there. They are that good. I highly recommend them.!!

Great restaurant with delicious pizza. So many options, including all of the different types of pizza. There is something for everyone here if you like pizza! They also have a full service bar if that is important to you. The person waiting on us was very attentive and helpful.

My family and I really enjoyed the two pizzas that we ordered. The flavor was outstanding, with what were obviously quality ingredients and fresh veggies. We enjoyed the atmosphere, and above all, the service was great. Our server was constantly stopping to see if we were in need of anything. The Pizza Rock will be my go-to place whenever I visit Vegas.

I’ve been to Tony’s and the slice house in San Francisco at least 20 times. This place was disappointing at best. My wife and I always get a sweet grandma at Tony’s. This sweet grandma in Vegas was a huge let down. The dough was flat and dense, see picture. We also got the Americano, the crust and dough was equally sad. I’ll continue to visit in San Francisco but doubt I’ll return to Pizza Rock in Vegas.

The food was very good. We had Garlic Garlic Bread, Cal Italia (my favorite) and the Pesto Paradise. We were there during happy hour, so the prices were a bit cheaper than usual. Service was good too. Can recommend this place.

YES!! Just yes to everything about this pizza. So many toppings some spilled every time I picked up a slice? YES! Flavorful sauce that wasn't a salt-bomb? YES! Cherry tomato halves firm enough to still slightly pop on first chew? Followed instructions & avoided onions? YES! Just...YES! It was all so good.

Soooo good!!!!!!!! The line and wait for a seat was kind of long but once seated, we received our food surprisingly fast. We weren’t all that hungry so we got a single Sicilian Peperoni and some drinks. The pizzas are huge! It fed a family of 5 easily. I want to go back and get the meat pizza!

Solid pizza. Definitely great place to go to if you are at Fremont. The pizza here was great but not the greatest. Customer service was amazing as well. The New Yorker was the best pizza here I would recommend trying it if you come here.

Great atmosphere located just off Fremont Street. So happy to have stumbled onto this place.Bartender was pleasant and attentive. Great gf and vegan cheese pizza options. Crust thin, but not hard and crunchy, vegan cheese has nice melt and chicken pieces tender. Fresh and tasty ingredients.

Absolutely the best pizza I have ever had!!!! I would love to come back to this place one day. We had a Chicago deep dish which was delicious. We also ordered one more but can’t remember what it was called. Both pizzas were fabulous!!! This is a must if you are in Vegas

I think this location is the best in Vegas. You can get a slice to-go or eat it at the bar. They also have large party tables for big groups. Friendly bar keepers, and servers. 10/10

The food was exceptional. We had meatballs, garlic bread and spicy sausage appetizers. The sausage was phenomenal! The meat lovers pizza was awesome! The menu covers are rock music album covers, and the music playing in the facility was great! Not too loud. April and Amber took good care of us. A very enjoyable experience! More

Was sort of skeptical before coming in but the pizza is good. Went with the New York/New Haven style tomato pie and the crust, cheese, sauce were all quite good. For an appetizer, tried the fried artichoke. It was "pretty good" but not nearly what I expected. Very breaded and could have been better. The service was excellent.

Customer service is lacking especially at the bar. The pizza was very bland and very little flavor although it was cooked very good. They use 00 flour which is great. The menu is very informative and the 3 ovens are neat. A little bit pricey here.

I was almost put off by the long line for pizza. WHAT WAS I THINKING? That was very much the greatest pizza I have ever had. And to be in such a crazy location, enjoying it right under the crazy roof of Fremont Street. Good price. Great slice.

I tried the gluten free pizza and it was tasty- I liked the texture and thickness and it had herbs in it that gave it good flavor. The waiter said they switched it recently and the package didn’t have a company name so they weren’t sure if

Every kinda pizza you could want! Too many to choose from! Both the pizzas we tried were great. The fried artichokes and truffle fries app were also tasty. Great beer and drink selection. A touch pricey but you get a good portion. More
