Yes 1 star happens all the time people put bags or chlotes on few machines and claim them so nobody can use them and many times people come to ask me to move so they can work out after I just sit down but today was the worst experience and for the employee who harassed me and discriminated me side with random lady who put her bag next to a machine that she wasn’t using wich is prohibited the employee lady should know that!!! Then tell me to leave the machine why ? Why bother me I nobody was using the machine when I came and nobody has any right to claim ownership or any rights of the equipment while they resting 6 ft away ! Then discrimination was when I’m telling the employee to stop harassing me and let me finish my exercise and she kept going asking me if I speak English!!! Yes I just told you to stop harassing me and you ask me if I speak English??!!! You curly hair employee sided with the lady who was in the wrong in the first place by claiming the machine because she put the bag next to it you know that’s wrong! And against the company policy! I told you I’m recording this whole harassment and you said you felt uncomfortable being recorded but care less I told you I feel harassed ! I have 4 minutes recorded of you telling me to get off the machine don’t even let me train!! Tell I can only do 2 sets!Yes I’m Caucasian not latina as the employee and the woman who ganged up against me but I’ll sue and teach them to follow the company policy wich clearly says no bags or personal belongings in the workout area !!! And no harassment and intimidation!!!! And no discrimination!!! I’m very shocked and disappointed in the staff involvement very disappointed why had to interfere and intimidate me and harass me instead of letting me finish that was a bullying move and obviously there is a hang up over there I don’t feel safe going back

Overcrowded and under equipped. So they have a cheap membership and allow a seemingly endless number of people to sign up, okay. But smith machines and weights are never available and multiple machines are out of order for months at a time. I always go at the least busy time of day. If you want to do any leg press you need to go take 45 pound barbell weights from every smith machine, the leg press storage bars are not fully stocked with weights and neither are the smith machines. The storage bars on leg press and smith machines should be absolutely chock full of weights in an overcrowded gym like this. The dumbells are always missing and you always have to wait or go look for them or pick a weight that is not right for you. On one hand people are selfish for taking multiple weights far from the dumbbell rack to do supersets on machines (they should pay a little more for a less crowded gym) but with planet fitnesses business model they should at least make sure this place is well stocked. The glute machine is broken and I even noticed the hip abductor machine is broken and I left the gym for 3 months and came back and it was still broken. In summary, if they want to have this business model which packs us into a gym for a cheap membership they should be appropriately stocked on weights and machines should be swiftly repaired. If you don’t like having your workout interrupted or paused or have to feel like problem solving every time you go to the gym take that into consideration before joining this gym. I hope they fix it.

on July 13th I went to the gym I got there at 1:35 pm I did my training then I went to the reception to use the massage chair, who was there the manager and a receptionist the manager looked at me and said " almost no I see you " as if you were my little friend, I replied I work a lot, then I wondered why she asked me that.... Once I made a complaint and put it in the Google rating just like this one talking about the receptionist Luna who treated me with bad manners and then I personally went to talk to the manager and explain what happened... ... What happens is that I usually go to the gym at night, which is the time I can go during the day I only went twice and at night the manager is never there because she has to work from morning until late afternoon only. I was surprised with the way she spoke to me she didn't ask me if I was ok or not because usually when we see a person that's what we talk about it was just rude , rudeness and unprofessional just because she is in the position of manager I think she thought she could treat people the way she wanted .... This gym really deserves a -10 because the employees are unprepared and rude . She asked me to remove the complaint I made on the review page and in return she would give me 1 month free I agreed but I hadn't deleted it yet but now I just changed my mind I won't delete anything.... Education and respect we learn at home

This location has had its fair share of really poor customer service staff up until I recently started visiting once again and it made me really happy that they hired new staff. I had to cancel my membership 6 years ago due to the facility being dirty and management not having enough customer care. When I walked in, not only was the place spotless, but I believe there is a staff member named Carlos, the young gentlemen in the front, who absolutely gives his best care to all the customers. There was a long line the first day after having my membership cancelled for five years and this young man literally took care of everyone in such a timely fashion. He even gave me such good explanation on how membership works and what new updates the facility had. I thoroughly am grateful for people in Miami who understand what customer service is truly about. I was not able to continue my membership since I moved out of the area, but I will definitely be visiting again if the same staff is as educated and well versed as Carlos- a true leader and exemplary easy going, friendly, courteous and educated individual who the company should definitely consider moving up, ASAP, if they know what is good for them. Don’t make the same mistake in hiring unprofessional staff that once was. He keeps the place, SPOTLESS. Very good moved, planet fitness.

This is five stars for algorithm purposes only . This place is 3 stars and somehow thats an insult to 3 star gyms but I was feeling petty today . This picture below was taking on March the 7th of this year. But I do remember the staff workers saw me running a mile on the treadmill on a 7.0 speed . But they felt the need to interrupt me mid excercise. Because they felt it was extremely urgent . Id put my shoes cause I was running in my dri fit nike socks. But the gentlemen in the picture is a regular of this same gym . Who comes frequently in open toe sandals and puts his raw toes all over the ab section floor just like many people that attend this gym but I've never seen a single staff member ask them to put back on there flip flops. Keep the same energy across the board . Don't come at me about running in fresh nike socks while you got grown men in thong sandals at your gym rubbing toes on your equipment.

(Sighs) so I left the one in hialeah to start going to this one because its closer to my daughter school and the elevator is slow and the stairs are hard because of my knee...I got to this one and the handicapp shower hose is broken water comes out the bottom and there is no pressure and there was someone's soap box and empty shampoo bottle on the floor ....water takes forever to get hot...I told the front desk ladies and they said they would let someone know I went this morning same EXACT thing this time it was a dove soap box on the floor I told them today again so we will see how it goes wednesday Edit : I meant to put two stars because I like the ceiling shower its pretty cool ...if they have it right by wed def giving 5 stars

This place is musty and crusty. Bathroom/locker rooms you can smell before you even enter. Mold growing on the walls, scum all over the toilets. Rude patrons that will try to squeeze onto the machine while you're on it lifting, dangerous. Watched this old man try to fight two high schoolers the other day over a bar they were using. Wanted to use the tanning and massage and the front refused to turn them on because they "just cleaned them and didn't want to do it again" Very tweaker friendly though Edit: what in the bot reviews? In the span of one day 5 reviews for this place specifically mention how clean it is and Gabe, Ivan, and iris by name. Either this is a bot or the reviews were paid for in some way. unbelievable.

Update: I'm docking a star for dirty bathrooms, only one sink works, and breaking machines. People just leave their weights on the floor, it's such a liability. I've almost tripped 2x. Parking lot also has cars who aren't using gym. This location is convenient for me, but I prefer the River Landing location. Staff is pretty nice, but owners need to invest in better cleaning staff and protocols. Everyone has just gotten used to the chaos. Dumbbells are always messy and not put back, it's always packed and there's never parking haha. Don't get me wrong, I still go there bc it's my gym and I still enjoy the workout, but they're not running a tight ship.

This gym is my all time favorite. The employees are super helpful and friendly, super clean and it’s a no judgment zone. I’ve been working with the personal Trainer “Mac” for several months now and have shown AMAZING progress. He motivates you to keep pushing, and will not give up on you even if you give up on yourself. Extremely professional, and isn’t like any other trainer I’ve had before. He MAKES SURE you’re doing everything the correct way and will even workout with you if you don’t wanna do it alone. I’ve never felt so comfortable working out in a gym until I came to this one! I advise everyone try this gym and the trainer out.

Mack, the trainer is a very dedicated and attentive trainer. The classes he offers are intense and really beneficial. They are not the easiest to do because he will not be easy on you he will push you until your breaking point and then some. Although he does close a section for the class the machines are offered in this section are all around. I love having to be part of the class because it makes me feel comfortable, secure, and judgment free. Working with this training is hard but if you are up for the challenge I highly recommend it.

On Wednesday, September 7, 2022 , I went into planet fitness located in 775 SW 8th street, Miami Fl 33310 to inquire information regarding their membership and I came across a great employee by the name of Trevor. He took the time to show us the facility, explain the two different type of memberships. He’ went above and beyond to make my husband and I feel comfortable and answered all of our questions .He’ truly provided an exceptional customer service .thank you Trevor. More employees should use your example.

I was here for the Tilly Mom interaction. That lady was a bit neurotic and I was under the impression that she was trying to steal the sun tanning lotion from the Planet Fitness staff. I don’t want to judge a book by its cover but she seemed to be a stimulant or amphetamine abuser as demonstrated by the erratic behavior. Anyways I saw Tilly Mom’s review and thought that the Planet Fitness staff is very friendly and polite at this location. They handled that woman with patience. -Brandon

I love my planet fitness blackcard perks and i visited over 40 of their gyms in FL, GA , AL.. and i am sad to report This one is among the least appealing ones i have visited as far as space design and blackcard lounge amenities. It just doesnt quite conform to the birght and modern PF esthetics. I go there only when heading to FIU and this is on its way to basically only use the hydromassage. Whats the feel of it: dated and cramped. The staff is kind and attentive so kudos for that.

I’ve only been visiting Miami for a month, but the staff are very nice and they are always doing deep cleans of machines. That alone is top tier. The reason for 3 stars is the terrible parking situation. The parking lot is way too small for such a good, central gym. Half of the time, I’m barely finding parking and that is defeating when I’m just trying to workout. This gym could be stellar but they’d have to work with the surrounding businesses to offer more parking for gym goers!

As nice as any planet fitness, but fairly crowded given its central location. If you manage to go on the off hours you will have your pick of machines, and cardio options are plentiful and always available. Staff is friendly at the door and maintain the place well. At peak hours it can be a very male-dominated space, especially the weights section. Wish it were open later on more days of the week to spread out the crowd and allow for more flexibility of when to visit.

I love the staff and the atmosphere. Definitely a great place to go and work out. Since I started going to planet fitness it changed my life, I feel myself getting stronger every time I go. If you need anything or have questions definitely request for for iris or dayana. They have helped me a lot whenever I needed help with anything. You can definitely count on them for anything you need and they are very friendly. Over all great place, great staff.

So far, the gym is nice, and they keep the place clean. In this case I share 2 points for the late payment policy. They charged a late fee, but I had already shared the necessary information for them to automatically get the money when they needed it. They made the late charge and charged me additional money that I did not authorize. I spoke with the manager today and the person was friendly and helpful, but the extra charge will not be refunded.

It's definitely not my home gym. It's busy all the time. Machines are dirty. They don't enforce the "wipe down the machines after use" rule. I witnessed 2 employees making fun of another worker who was the only person actually putting in effort. Patrons hog the machines and spend more time on the phone than working out. The signs say no bags on the floor but most people have bags. Locker rooms are gross. I'm glad I didn't have to shower there.

Ivan the 'manager' is rude. Clock on wall is 2 min fast (pls fix), Ivan goes around telling ppl gym is closed when it is still 8:58pm. Then gets rude with customers when he's told it's not 9pm yet. And when asked to be given better customer service he responds with "leave, leave right now". Regional management please look into your gym manager. Planet fitness member for 10+ years. Rudest interaction I've had with one of your staff. Thank you.

This is the worst Gym ever they make it impossible to cancel your membership even if you move and literally cannot physically go to their location. I’ve been trying to cancel for over a year with no luck and every time I go to the location they tell me the manager is out and is the only one who can cancel the membership. Stay away from these guys they are running an illegal over billing business with some gym on the side.

Unfortunately this gym is designed for a 2000s workout when all people did was cardio. THere's about 100 cardio machines but if you want to do weights there's no space. Forget about using the Smith machine because they're hogged by the same people for at least an hour. Sadly this could be a good gym but they have to get rid of 90% of the cardio machine which no one uses and make the rest of it with more weight stations.

Great experience, this is one of the few planet fitness i’ve felt truly welcome in. Staff members Dayana and Iris were very helpful and welcoming employees. They definitely deserve to get employee of the month and a raise. They showed me how to use the stair master and treadmill. And in general they made the experience awesome they made me laugh they have amazing personalities.

It is a well kept place with nice equipment. Unfortunately it is seriously overcrowded. I have been to many many gyms and this is hands down the busiest gym I have ever been to. I had to ask people every time if I could use the machine after they had finished. Meanwhile I am standing around losing my pump and intensity. It’s too bad for such a nice location.

Full scale gym in a great central location. Open 24 hours a day during the week. Lots of equipment to choose from. A great place to make new friends that are into similar activities. With Black Card membership you can visit and work out at other locations nation wide and more. Staff is always helpful and polite. Stay motivated and go daily.

They have a new rule here at the little Havana location. They close off a section of the 30 minute circuit section for personal training classes. Even if there is no class you are not allowed to use two of the machines. When asked how long the machines would be off limits, the Personal Trainer told us, for a few hour long classes. …

when i first came into the gym i was kindly attended by Emilio and Melanie the manager who are so sweet. emilio gave me a nice tour and presentation of the rates. helped me book the classes with the trainer. not only are the employees nice but members. the gym is well maintained very nice customer service thank you for your time

At this location no one care to put back the weights! We spend more time look for it than working out. Of course it’s people bad habit but if they have a good manager and a good staff they will tell and teaching members to put things back!! Also, this is not safety if you step on any weight, so it’s not a safety place to go.

I love this gym! Its small but comfortable. I like the 24 hour options and thats why I chose it. Heidy is amazing in the wee hours, always with a warm smile and greetings. Only 1 thing is that the male customers should re rack the heavy weights because it us the ones that use them. Other than that all good. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I’ve been with this gym since it opened. Melanie, who’s the assistant manager, has been here since and she has always given great customer service. The new manager, Josefa, is a great addition to the staff. They both always make everyone feel welcomed. They make it a friendly environment.

Been going here for about 2 weeks now. I feel that every workout really benefits me and makes me feel better. Really the right regimen and diet with the right exercises help to achieve an awesome mood. This is where they told me all this and set up a schedule for me.

One of the best gym out there!!! The manager (Melanie) is always ready to help us in what we need. The staff are also friendly and funny.( Iris, Dayana, Carlos , Gabriel) They are always trying their very best to keep the gym in a good shape and that’s appreciated.

The air conditioning system and fans are in operable. South Florida temps are unbearable especially during summer months. This situation is unacceptable, for your customers comfort and health. I believe the establishment should be closed until it has been resolved.

I have been to at least five different locations of planet fitness.All of them meet the standard. This location looks small but utilize all space as well. The massage area is not too crowd. Staffs are friendly and professional. The bathroom and area area clean

Ive been coming now for 2 weeks and it is a very nice place to come to. Staff are friendly and can help you if you struggle and the environment with the people who work out is awesome. They are also really friendly and have been patient with me as a beginner.

At what time do you close again??? Because this keeps happening all the time where they hunk the alarm 3 times Startin 23 minutes before your posted closing time. I even have a video where they hunk the alarm at 8:48 with lights off yelling gym is closed...

They can do better with cleanliness and maintenance. Reasonable rates though and the upgraded membership allows you to get extra services like tanning beds and mechanical massage furniture. I travel and appreciate being able to use clubs nationwide

This location is good but could be better. Some of the staff is nicer than others. Most of the people wear their masks but some don’t wear it at all or they only wear it on half of their face. When it’s busy it can be hard to find a parking spot.

Great experience with Melanie, Vielka and Jardí. I went from paying $50 monthly to have a great rate with guest included and multiple perks at this location. Also, parking included. For this price this is a steal! Very happy to have joined!!

Just let you know - if you want to use massage chair (which is cheap as f and hurts you) or hydro bad (which is really good) - REMEMBER you can use it only 10 minutes, after that you have to run to the reception and beg for another session,

Sucks ! Equipment is old and doesn't get serviced. The cardio machines just keep getting used , reused and abused . This gym really needs new and better equipment not just three new steppers and two rowing machines. Anybody who goes to this

I had money stolen from my wallet which was in a locked locker. Dont trust your locks dont leave any valuables in the locker take your belongings with you on the floor. There is a thief at this planet fitness.

$10 a month in Miami. It seems too good to be true. One of the best bang for your bucks in the city. Ample space and machines for cardio. My biggest complaint would be the small amount of parking though.

This was my first time at this location and the staff was very friendly, Emilio, Christian, and Melanie were awesome! The gym and locker room was very clean as well, will definitely be coming back here!

I have visit this planet fitness with one of my friends, since they had the black card and Jardi help me with all the questions, he was super awesome and very kind and friendly.

Use this gym on a daily. And its wonderful nobody is looking at you weird like in other gyms. Plus the staff there is amazing and always ready to help other awesome place
