The terminal is under construction possibly due to Olympic events being held in Marseille 2024 Terminal 2 is very small Security very busy. Passengers respectful. There are notices about aggressive language or behaviour being used is not tolerated However. This has to be applied to passengers and STAFF ! Young woman on security desk 3 was aggressive, belligerent and rude for no reason, mutual respect is a must !!! I did have an issue and a very kind lady who spoke English was very very helpful - sorry I don’t have your name but thank you Then there was confusing flight notifications sending passengers through gate 1 However, no departure gate allocated for flight Tight pinch point getting to the gates with queuing passengers, confused passengers coming back and forth causing frustration and high anxiety Asked personnel wearing ryanair identification cards about the flight and was told to speak to Ryanair !! What ?? So all the people who had been sent down for the flight were milling about with nowhere to go My concern that there are huge risks of people getting hurt if the situation became more heightened I hope the airport look at what is happening More staff needed helping passengers whilst the reconstruction is ongoing Any flight notifications should be in sync with the departure gates so you are not sending 300 people down a dead end when the area is already over crowded Train staff in passenger manager skills (I’m sure some passengers can be a challenge!) however, if the staff do not wish to do the job with respect and professionalism- don’t do the job with a chip on your shoulder Thank you to the wonderful security lady on airside who helped myself and others - kind and considerate
