I've been a patron of Prakash Theatre for many years, spanning back to its days as Prakash Tent. Fond memories of watching fantastic movies are etched in my mind, creating a sense of nostalgia that draws me back. However, the sheen of those memories is unfortunately dimmed by the consistent issue of cleanliness. While the cinematic experience remains as captivating as ever, the lack of improvement in cleanliness over the years is disheartening. Prakash Theatre, despite its rich history, seems to struggle with maintaining a hygienic and tidy environment. The ambiance is tainted by overlooked spills, dusty corners, and the occasional lingering odor, creating a distraction from the immersive movie experience. I vividly remember the transition from Prakash Tent to Prakash Theatre, expecting an upgrade not only in facilities but also in cleanliness standards. Sadly, this hasn't materialized, making it challenging to fully enjoy the cinematic magic. The seating, though comfortable, sometimes shows signs of neglect, leaving one to wonder about the overall maintenance. It's important to note that this review is not a critique of the movie selection or the staff's dedication. The movies showcased are still top-notch, and the staff remains friendly and accommodating. It's the persisting cleanliness concerns that cast a shadow over an otherwise enjoyable movie night. I encourage the management of Prakash Theatre to consider investing in improving cleanliness standards. Small changes, like more frequent cleaning routines and attention to detail, can significantly enhance the overall customer experience. As a loyal customer, I would love to see Prakash Theatre regain its former glory, not just in terms of cinematic offerings but also in providing a clean and inviting space for its patrons.

Good low price theatre with basic facilities. Initially the sound was terrible with lots of noise and imbalance(When I watched lagaan here). They upgraded their sound system to dts in 2004 or 2005 and since then it has been better(Watched Johny, Simhaadri, Khaleja and Shakthi with acceptable sound and picture quality for its price). Seats are also very basic(plastic), and it cannot handle large queues. Ticketing system needs a huge makeover. Overall, if you want to see a movie in a theatre with least cost and with the mass, in yelahanka, this is your choice. Coming up: Eega on 6Jul12 in this theatre!

This theatre looks like old days theatre but the screen and sounds are of latest technology. Tickets can be buy at theatre in queue system and online booking may be available. Seats are of plastics type, no AC and only fans are available. Snacks and cool drinks are available. Restrooms are not well maintained. Parking available only for two wheelers in front of the threatre but of too small hardly around 50 bikes can hold.

I had a very bad experience going to this theater. The audio is pathetic. So pathetic that I got a bad headache by the time I got out of the theatre. The only reason people go to this theater is that it is only one of the two theater's in and around Yelahanka. I would recommend people to spend a little extra and go to theater in a multiplex. It will be worth it.

Prakash Theatre at Yelahanka is a budget class theatre with less cleanliness and seats are also not so good. Prakash theatre is good to watch movies of mediocre standards with labour class people and middle class people are often seen visiting this theatre. Road near the Prakash theatre is very narrow and parking is a problem most of the time.

Worst maintained theatre in old Yelahanka Bangalore Poor sound system where u only hear noise instead of dialogues. Poor seating system. You literally experience backpain after sitting for 3 hours watching movie. Screen clarity is poor. Though located in good residential area, due to poor maintenance, it fails to drag crowds.

It's an OKAY type theatre in yelahanka old town . Very bad place to go along with your family. The cleanliness isn't maintained properly and the chairs are so hard and uncomfortable to sit for 2 or 3 hours. Overall it's reasonable for that price but minimum standards do matter.

This time a night mare with d fellow viewers.. Don't even have d common sense how to behave at public places.. Spitting behind d seats.. Couple of smart guys smoking..this management people are enthusiastic in counting collections ..they are least bothered about d services..

No maintenance inside the theater .no hygiene no cleanliness, Ventilation is not good feels very hot and sweaty inside look like a old garage but less cost so you decide if you want good experience of cinema then avoid it sound and picture quality is good .

I have seen Prakash theater grown from normal iron chairs to basic need chairs and normal screen quality to DTS quality. Needs lot more improvement in seating, toilets, parking, ticket counters etc..Hope these changes will be soon as Yelahanka is growing.

Maintenance is very bad, For movies which released newly they will raise ticket price. But very big theatre and it would be better if they had good maintenance and service. You can buy a multiplex ticket with the ticket price which you spend here.

Can book tickets in paytm and there is no numbering, can't afford in morning times but can manage in night. Seats near fan are good and rest is hopeless and we find seats in a awkward situation as in the form of not even proper chairs.

Best theatre under budget but it should be properly maintained. First class seats are poor and broken. Balcony view is fine. Maintenance and facilities should be improved. It has Good sound quality speakers.

The worst theatre experience i seriously won't sujest any one to visit this . Bcz of the theatre seating ambiance etc . I've lost interest to see movie only. I've quit in between movie n went off worst experience ever .

Good thetre at budget price, awesome sound clarity, only seats are not good but OK for tht price.also this theatre have online booking option. Totally best theatre for best price. Also have two wheels parking.

Nice location with a good choice of Tamil, Telugu and Kannada movies. Theatre interiors are pretty decent and for people who enjoy single screens more than multiplexes its the right place

Prakash theatre is good for the budget class and I found it ok. But only concerned with their toilets and there canteen, they are not clear proper. During the interval time people smoke.

Staff behavior not good, behaves rude.Worst theatre for booking online tickets. Money debited from account but the show was canceled without any information, also money not refused.

Silent theatre, easily tickets are available...but it seems old, so seats are not much good, If you are ready to see movie but not want luxury seats, then it is GOOD Theatre
