I had to cancel my prepaid parking reservation for 3/12/2022-3/14/2022 In New Orleans. I paid $132.51 in advance and canceled my reservation before my date of arrival. I immediately contacted customer service the very same night and they took all my information to file a refund request. A week later and they never refunded my money. Instead they put a credit on my account which is not what I asked for. It’s a parking spot not a hotel stay. Absolutely ridiculous that you have to request a refund at all for a canceled reservation. The way they avoid giving refunds feels very much like a SCAM. There is no logical reason to keep a customers payment for a canceled parking reservation. I decided not to waste my time emailing back and fourth with customer service begging to get my own money back. Instead I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to request the refund back to my card instead of the credit that they issued to my account. This company never responded to contact from the BBB. On 3/29/2022 I filed a complaint with the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office as directed by the BBB. I will update once this issue is resolved. Although, I used Premium Parking once before at this same location with no issues I would NOT recommend giving this company your business. If you’re considering using this company please review their sketchy self serving policies regarding refunds and cancelations prior to parking with them. *UPDATE* 4/5/2022 Almost a month later and only after the Better Business Bureau and the Louisiana Attorney General's Office contacted this company did they FINALLY issue me a refund back to my card for the full amount. I definitely will not be doing business with Premium Parking ever again

Scam. I was there 55 minutes, paid $18.50 for 1 hour. Came back and they had booted my car, 16 minutes after I parked it according to the sticker. Called number and 5 minutes later a registered idiot with IQ of a rock got out of an Uber and volunteered to unboot my car for $30. I tried to ask a few questions. He said I didn't pay. I had texts showing I did. He said I didn't pay. I asked how much should I have paid, I got a blank stare. I lived here in the 1970s and know the stupid game and that he was well skilled in the art. It took only a minute to realize he was stupider than I was smart. Am I really going to stand on an asphalt parking lot with my family and argue over $30? He was willing to play stupid all day, I had 10 hours of driving ahead of me. It was worth $30 to stop smelling him and we both knew it. So I paid and he walked off with the boot, I think he just walked 1 isle over and put it on another random car. This is the full New Orleans experience. The beignets were good, just cost $30 more than the listed price. Bring cash.

Convenient but much too expensive and parking spaces much too narrow. Could barely fit my car in the space and still have room to get out the door with car parked on both sides. Apparently they are trying to squeak out every single penny they can get from parking even though it costs almost nothing to run these lots. Two of the 4 pay machines were broken and the one lot attendant that was really busy trying to find cars that were expired did not seem to care and was rude. Several tourist were complaining about the broken pay machines and the cost. We live in NOLA and the cost of parking has skyrocketed so much that we rarely park in the quarter. I'll find other lots or have someone drop us off. It is a shame that greed is going to ruin what was once a wonderful outing for locals.

This place does not even deserve a one star rating. They are running a SCAM! There are many more and free options for parking - do not park here! Like many of the other reviewers, they put a boot on my vehicle even though we returned more than an hour before our time expired. I have text message receipt showing my payment and time of return but you cannot speak to anyone to resolve the problem - its an automated system. Their security who came to remove the boot (after they made us paid an additional fee to take it off) was sketchy and foul mouthed and had gotten into a shouting match with another family who was experiencing the same scam. Save yourself the expense and hassle and park somewhere else.

  • Mike B

Never Park Here!! We paid for 5 hours of time, but came back an hour late. Instead of being able to pay for the difference, the attendant put a boot on the vehicle, and then charged $90 to remove it. I was told my car was not in the "system." I showed the parking ticket to the attendant, who then proceeded to tell me my car was kicked out of the "system." I asked for a refund of my original 5 hours of parking, and I got silence in return. I under stand I was late (Imagine that!! ppl having a good time in the French Quarter, and losing track of time?!?!?!), but there should be a way to pay for the extra time. The staff was very rude as well. This lot's "system" is setup to steal the money of visitors.

(Do No Use Premium Parking) First of all this is the first and Last time I'm coming to New Orleans, French Quarter. I paid for parking 2 days in a row and today I paid and it went over about 35 minutes and they put a boot on our car and had us text to get the combination to remove it and then said it would be $ 140.00 dollars to get the combination!!! This is Robbery! Don't park in the parking lot next to the Mississippi P401 is the area we parked in. What a way to put a damper on your visit here in New Orleans to spend your hard earned money! Never again!! And I'll tell everybody I know about this experience!

  • Catosha Smith

Great parking. Okay on price.. 47 per day through the week. 52 per day on the weekend. We had an over sized vehicle and it worked out great because it is open. As in not a parking garage. Download the app! You can pay and will be alerted when your time is running out! You can pay from the app and not have to worry about getting back to the lot to extend your time. If you are late paying they will boot your vehicle and will be charged 90 to get it off, plus it could take some time for the guy to get there to get the boot off. Other wise premium parking was a good experience for us!

  • Caleb Whitfield

Great place to park if you want to be close to everything but be sure and pay for more hours than you plan on staying it’s cheaper to pay for more and not use it then to have to pay for extra hours, prices are kind of steep and be sure to get back to your car on time to avoided having a boot put on your tire or your car towed! Happens a lot is what the locals say! 2 hours $18 3 hours $22 5 hours $30 9 hours $42 24 hours $52 What I did was pay for 2 then needed two more and wound up paying $36 for 4 when I could have payed $30 for 5 so lesson learned

  • Allison Shrimpton

I recommend parking somewhere else unless you know exactly where you are going and dont expect to get lost. We went to bourbon street and were having a good time, we downloaded the app but couldn't find out which parking lot we were in nor how to extend our time to be parked. We decided to head back so we can extend our parking time and go back out, but got lost. Finally figured it out by retracing our steps and to find with just being 30 minutes late we were booted. $90 fee to get it off, completely ruined our time.

  • Nicole L

Do not park here. It is a scam! Like the others I paid using the station (the app wouldn't download). I enjoyed my time exploring the area to discover a boot on my car AND an additional "non payment" fee. I have the receipt showing that I paid, but it doesn't matter because no one is available to address this issue. Essentially they're forcing you to pay for wrongfully being booted and hope that you don't care enough/forget disrupt it. I usually use a parking deck in a different area. I will never park here again.

  • K. Ellis

To me, this is the safest and most convenient place to park in NOLA. Park and walk to you right and get to the St. Louis Cathedral/French Quarter area quickly. Walk to your left and you can get to some great shopping and museums. It's open enough where if something dangerous happens, people will see it. You pay with your card, it gives you a slip of paper to put in your dash with an expired time. Easy breezy. It's expensive to park anywhere in NOLA, so I don't even consider that factor...

  • Emily Winters

Took my money, didn’t print a receipt so I called and they told me to run it again and while I was on the phone with them AFTER i ran my card they told me they actually received the first payment and running it a second time wasn’t necessary but I ran it again already because they TOLD me to. So when I asked for a refund they told me no, hung up, and I couldn’t get anyone on the phone again. Ripped me off for $80.

  • C McMillan

Do not park here. Great location, however when we “paid” we input our car information multiple times on the website because the page kept resetting. We finally were able to submit a picture of our plate and thought everything was good to go. Came back about 40 mins later to a boot on the vehicle. The worker told us to take it up with the company if there’s a problem. Money hungry scam.

  • CA

this weekend a bunch of cars got broken into during the parades. busted windows everywhere. they shouldn’t be charging $80 to park and not even have a security guard. if you park here do not leave any valuables in your car. you’re better off not leaving anything and just leave your door unlocked. there’s a 50/50 chance your car will get a busted window

  • D D

Downloaded the app in the parking lot and set it up as pay as you go - really easy to use. The longer you stay the cheaper by hour. beware the meter maids are out and enforcing! I saw a lot of boots! Safe area and convenient location. It's expensive but that's expected with any tourist location/downtown. FYI free parking in French quarter after 7pm

  • Shannon F.

Great location, yes, but do you want to get scammed out of your hard earned money for not paying enough in advance? The lot used to be...grab a ticket and pay at the end, but some nasty sleezy low ball came up with this scheme, with what little brains he had left. And now you’re screwed out a ton of money. Go park some where else! F these people!

  • Diamond Jim

Absolute rip off. The spaces are too small for a full sized SUV unless you park in a "STAR" space which was $31 for two hours. Then, when I returned to the car 1-1 hours later I found my car booted and had to pay an additional $30 to get the boot off that shouldn't have been put on on the first place. This place is organized theft.

  • Sai G

I payed parking fee at the kiosk machine when I parked my car. It was charged on my card but the kiosk machine showed no receipt needed. The enforcement agent has locked up my car wheels when I returned and asked me to pay 110$. I have seen 10’s of people are getting charged the same way. Differently don’t recommend parking here.

  • Brenda Velasquez

The price to park is a bit high but I mean, its a busy city with lots of tourist so its understandable! Parking spaces are wide enough to open the door comfortably. Dirty so watch where you step. Just wish there was someone there to help just incase help was needed. Good spot to park and walk around for a few hours and explore.

  • Elizaveta Voitsekhovskaia

Parked overnight at this parking lot with uhal trailer everything went fine. It’s expensive but you get what you pay for! Safety and space right in a center of NOLA. If you parked with a trailer you have to pay for 2 spots! Total cost for 24 hours (2 spots) $134 And we use their app to pay. Recommend for oversized vehicles!

  • Ngoc Ngo

Parking is ridiculously expensive. If you don't know how long you'll be there, just pay the few extra dollars to park a little longer. If you have to extend the time, they charge the base price for the extra hours so you might end up paying twice as much or more than if you just paid from the start.

  • Jenya Sedova

Horrible place! We paid 18$ for parking by parkwhiz app, but we didn't print our receipt, because we were on the way. When we returned, our car was blocked and we were forced by a man from the parking lot to pay extra 30$! I attach the pic of this man. Don't park there! It is a criminal place!

  • Tyrone Perry

Phone didn't have service to renew parking via text (the mall to the south has poor service when you're inside.), and they booted our car 3 minutes after it expired. $90 fine. Company that boots the cars doesn't own the lot, so they could care less about your problems. >:(

  • Louis and Elaine

Parking lots in New Orleans have a number of expenses imposed on them. This is added to the price and Premium P401 is no exception. This lot is very convenient to Jackson Square, Decatur Street and several other places and no more expensive than other lots in the area.

  • Chris P

Tight parking stalls between the yellow lines. Weekend is expensive. At least $50. We decided to not park that Sunday for that much money and feared a busted window and a tire being booted. Parking and crime is the reason we won't be coming back to NOLA ever again.

  • Rafael Olavarría

What type of weird scam are they running here? We got booted even thought the machine said we paid. The worker said there’s nothing he could do and we were forced to pay $90 I guess they know they have malfunctioning machines and take advantage of it?

  • Dane Fray

Horrible experience!!! Customer service and policies are ridiculous. My car was booted by mistake and when I proved it with a valid parking receipt, I was asked to pay a “reduced fee” to remove the boot??? Avoid parking here whenever you can!!

  • Deborah Sylvestre

Instructions are not clear. We went for the cruise dinner, thinking we would pay when we leave (that's what it says:"pay when you leave") and we found our car with a great lock in one tire. 120 dollars to unlock.... One of many robbery in NOLA

  • felicia reyes

Great location to park. Reasonable price on the weekend even better price during the week. Make sure you DON’T go over your time! We saw many people get booted and if I can remember it was about $70 to get the boot off according to the sign.

  • Yvonne Schort (Shorty)

Little on the costly side, but etlast no parking tickets, unless you don't come back in time, then it's really going to be expensive. We rather pay for more hours then get a boot ☹ we seen them on vehicles don't look fun coming back to that.

  • Jen T

If I could give this place a negative star, I would give a -5. Very narrow parking space. 2 hour parking is $25; 3 hour parking is $30. And the machine is not offering changes when it swallowed our $40 for 3 hours. The system is a rip off!!!

  • Brian Curlin

Most garage parking systems pay as you leave. This one is set up to pay as you arrive. It's not intuitive to pay immediately and they boot your vehicle with a 90 dollar charge. It's set up this way to make extra money in my opinion.

  • Chrissy C

Large parking lot. Self serve pay stations. Machine said no change, which didn't register to me until I over paid by five dollars. I understand the reasoning, but it was still frustrating. $15/2hr and up when we were there on 3.2016.

  • Mason King

Parking lot is in a great location and very easy to use. We prepaid online and then just parked and came and went as needed. There is virtually no security and it isn't cheap, however it is hard to beat the convenience.

  • Sam O

The parking lot is in a convenient and safe location near all the action in the French Quarter. With that said you will pay dearly for this location. Overall it's a great place to park if you don't mind the cost.

  • Omnivia

Minutes from everything downtown. Paid $46 for 4 hours. Recommend paying online that way you can pay less and add time as you need it. I only stayed 2hrs due too weather so the other 2hrs was a waste.

  • Tanveer Momin

It's a parking lot. When I went they were very aggressive about booting your car if you went over your time limit. Highly recommend using the mobile pay service so you can top off remotely.

  • Dennis Bopp

Great parking location when visiting the French Quarter, although a bit pricey given parking has been the function of that location for many years requiring only maintenance expenditures.

  • Ricardo Leon

The location is great, you can walk from here to many points of interest around. The only con is the price: $ 9/hour. I think it's overpriced for the kind of service that it provides.

  • Casey Bowden

The parking spaces is very difficult to get into especially in an SUV or Truck. The prices are ridiculously high. It was $31 for 5 hours. I absolutely would NOT recommend this place.

  • Hollie Parks

$30 for 4 hours on a Friday evening. Was going to extend for an additional hour but it was going to cost another $18. We'll just get an Uber into town next time. A shameless rip off.

  • Your Local Guide

Waited over 15 minutes to be let out as there is no guard, no code pad, you have to dial the national phone number to be let out each time.....not using this facility again.

  • Chris Toms

Terrible. For the cost you would expect a decent lot. Also, charged for a full extra hour after going over one minute - the extra minute was spent in line for the teller.

  • Maria Natalia Ornelas

Convenient place to park. Expensive!!! We were able to find different options, recommend you do too. Public transportation is excellent there. Best to use that

  • Erin L

Convenient to a lot of places in that area. Be careful if you use the Premium Parking App though. The time it was showing me that I had left was not accurate.

  • Bryan Houle

Pretty good place to park, but the first day I booked it there was an event that took up most of the lot. A heads up from the company would have been nice.

  • Paul Chaffin

Lost our ticket. Sign said lost ticket =$100. Manager intervened and reduced the price to half! $100 would have left a bad taste in our mouthes …

  • Kalena E

Location was safe and convenient for beginning your day in the French Quarter. Located next to the Mississippi river with fairly reasonable prices.

  • Norma Robinson

I've parked here many times. Easy acess to the French market the aquarium pretty much anywhere you want to go in New Orleans French market area.

  • Vasily Bender

Always places to park and in the middle of everything New Orleans has to offer, river walk, French Quarter, Canal Blvd, Aquarium and more! Pricy

  • Traveling Toonies

Good parking, close to Jackson Square. Seemed safe. Parking spots are tight for a big truck. Pay either online by app or by kiosk.

  • Robert Rakosi

Conveniently located but they hose you in the charges. Weekend $20 for 2 hours, during the week $20 for 12hrs. Welcome tourists.

  • Valerie Rich

Very convenient parking app, alerts you when your time is running out and gives you the option to add more time from your phone.

  • Olivia Noel

Easy place to park, but not cheap at all. If you're going to be there late, you can get out free since the gate person leaves.

  • Ryan Hunter

Great location for most of the french quarter. Prices are reasonable. Use the app for sure. There was always a spot available.

  • Robyn Smith

Easy walking distance to the French quarter. Easy online payment system. A little pricey but worth the convenience.

  • Stacie Easterwood

Spendy parking but in a good location. Worth the extra money to not drive around looking for parking on a busy day.

  • Josh Aycock

Great location and price. $16 for three hours in downtown. That's ok by me. Two minute walk from Jackson Square.

  • Chris Flanigan

It was a parking lot and it did its job quite well. I parked, paid, and when I returned my car was still there.

  • Vem Fell

$41 for 3hours? That's equivalent to my 3-course Sunday Jazz Brunch meal at Commander's Palace. Preposterous!

  • Brandi

Excellent French Quarter location. Easy in and out. Reasonable prices for area. Easy to use app and kiosks.

  • Ingham West

Very smooth experience and I loved that the text message setup actually worked the way it was supposed to.

  • VR

Not bad, the place was cleaned and maintained. But it is not cheap, the price of a hour was about $14.

  • Adam R. (Seriustruth)

Over priced parking. Be mindful of your parking times. These lots are revenue generators for tourists.

  • Carl Ledet

This gets you close to Jackson square area. Also a short walk to Bourbon Street. Great spot to park.

  • Kim Mitchell

Perfect place to park for new years eve event. Had no trouble leaving before the rest of the crowd.

  • Laurie Dufrene

Easy to find! No problems ever parking here. Prices are high but what's to expect. That City life!

  • Jaime Poore

Best well lit,and security patrolled parking, right by the french market 2 blocks from bourbon

  • Dillon Gonzalez

Kinda expensive but good for the location. Paid around 25 bucks for 3 years.

The parking area was nice; however, the payment kiosks did not work at all.

  • Poppi Murphy

Made it easy to park. Start the day ! Made it easy to leave. End the day !

Parking was in a good location! Not the lowest cost for all day parking

  • Avis Hamardelabrethoniere

It's really hard to find parking in NOLA, so this lot was a life saver.
