Popped down to Proof Wine Bar to celebrate the countdown to my birthday...we were a party of 5 and i must say, this was an awesome place with really unpretentious people. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. The venue is a little small. The music was pretty decent, some Queen and Cindy Lauper, if that's your thing. The drinks were good. I understand Gin is all the craze right now, but for someone who doesn't like Gin, I found the Cocktail options limiting.

When the opened the wine list was filled with interesting and boutique style wines. Gone are those days - just a number of average wines are now stocked. Place was nice and busy, interesting decor. Pity about the wine list...
