I had a bad experience with the delli. I came in around 11:15 to beat the lunch crowd and there was only on lady making online orders which is fine. She said to wait a minute. Ten minutes later another lady comes up and starts making a sub for a fellow Publix employee. The other lady said can you help this customer that's been waiting. She basically continued to make the Publix employees sub. Then I said to her what about me I am a paying customer and now I've been waiting for about 15 minutes. I said the whole purpose of me coming in early was to beat the lunch crowd and not be late for work. Then some words were said in Spanish which I think is very rude. At that point I said I want to speak with the manager. Then the first lady made a rude gesture in Spanish like yeah ya yeah. Finally I guess a stock person who overheard the argument got the store manager. I spoke with the store manager and told him my experience with trying to get a sub made. Then the other lady got very defensive with the store manager and said something like she was on break and not on the clock. Well it appears that it was a misunderstanding. However, on break or not I think it presents a bad image when a paying customer is waiting for over 15 minutes while a Publix employee is taking care of another Publix employee and a paying customer is not being taken care of. It's just bad business. I will not shop at this Publix again!!!

Devin the roving Real Estate agent here! Being in Real Estate, I've always admired the prime location of this place - its presence makes the area a lot more walkable and local, though a few ground floor stores (like you see in a Publix Plaza) would be even more wonderful. Now.. This is one of exceptionally few (I want to say 3) Publix Greenwise supermarkets. So what's different? Well, at this one, some other reviewers have pinpointed that it's smaller, and that is definitely true, but it's not exactly tiny. If there were "lite" versions of Whole Foods and Publix, and a Lite Publix and Lite Whole Foods had a baby, it would be the Publix on Azeele. I'm not sure if there's anything here that Whole Foods doesn't carry, but there is a lot that you won't find anywhere except specialty food stores and Whole Foods. There is a lovely olive bar offering free samples, prepared soups, salads, and other salad bar favorites, and a small area to sit down and eat too. There is a pretty decent sized wine-selection, and maybe it's just me, but the baking department seems much more extensive than usual Publix. The escalator will seem pretty cool the first few times (how it carries up the shopping carts), and the exterior of the building is also pretty trendy looking, depending on your architectural style. Overall, I'm a big fan. :)

Shopped for some basic items at the Publix across from where I work on weekends. I usually buy my frozen Jewish foods I enjoy at Publix stores like Golden's latkes(potato and other vege flavored pancakes), blintzes(Jewish breakfast crepes with different fillings like potato, sweet farmer cheese or fruit), Gabilla's frozen potato knishes (delicious potato pockets like big empanadas) - a NYC standard often sold at street vendors, and Tabachnik's kosher soups which I grew up with having lived in New Jersey as a boy and young man. Also some stores have a kosher section with hors d'oeuvres, Empire frozen kosher poultry products, Israeli Sephardic and Middle Eastern frozen foods and desserts. Some of the last remaining Winn Dixie stores in Florida also carry these Jewish kosher and kosher style foods but most Publix stores always have these as well as a dry goods Jewish food shelves section for gefilte fish, matzah ball soup, matzah and matzah products, imported and local kosher juices, sauces, noodles and pastas and sometimes specialty items like candy, tahini dressing and domestic and Israeli snack foods. Kosher pickles, horseradish sauces, sauerkraut and deli meats/ franks are often found in the refrigerated cases.

I love this Publix, it’s my favorite since I’ve moved to Tampa about 2 years ago. But today was extra special. I was looking around at the milk selection because I prefer 2% Greenwise but of course I’m not being picky in these times. As I’m looking and grabbing another brand the amazing employee that is working in the dairy section asked me if I am finding everything I’m looking for. I told him what I was looking for but said it’s not a big deal. He basically insisted on checking in the back for me. He came out with my 2% Greenwise milk. I can not say I caught his name but he was working on 4/5/2020 at around 11-12. It doesn’t stop there. I checked out and I’m trying to be as quick as possible but totally forgot to enter my phone number to get my discount on digital coupons. I went to the Customer Service. This Customer Service person was AMAZING! His name was Kenneth. He completely helped me out with a smile. And in times like these it was truly heart warming. Thank you to the Publix in Hyde Park for continuing to be a pleasure to shop at during these difficult time. I appreciate it more then I can say!

They don't carry any cough syrup containing the expectorant Guaifenesin. I'm looking for a product that DOES contain guaifenesin but does NOT CONTAIN ANY dye or artificial flavors or fake sweetener or propylene glycol (aka antifreeze) or polyethylene glycol. The kind of thing that you can hopefully find at a health food store. Apparently not even at health food store... All they carry is regular tussin or useless homeopathic stuff & honey or elderberry syrups. At least whole foods took the time to check shelves unlike greenwise, who told me to try Walgreens or CVS. Ill never shop at Publix again... Searching the internet was equally useless. When I type what I don't want, the internet shows me dozens of choices containing the ingredients I'm avoiding. I'm too sick to take a cab there to read labels myself, plus I don't want to get random shoppers sick, but If I was a different kind of person I'd go there & cough right in their useless associates faces. If someone carried or made a cough syrup that fit my criteria they would make a ton of money. Anyone know of such a product?

This grocery store evokes a classy, upscale vibe. The soup and salad taste fresh and delicious. In fact, I have yet to pick out something I have not enjoyed. The Asian style wings burst with flavor. There are many healthy choices. The produce display and quality stand out. The bakery is "legendary" in the words of a friend, and I must say that I agree. The sandwiches are made fresh, and are better than Subway in my opinion. There is a parking garage with escalators leading to the store, or a large elevator which can fit multiple people with full grocery carts. The employees have been friendly and helpful, showing a level of enthusiasm. The only complaint I have is that they are just slightly high on price, but I guess you get what you pay for, and there are some good deals too. This grocery store competes with any store I've been to, top three I've ever seen in my life. So, they get 5 stars from me, a rarity that I rate any place this high.

Thanks Publix for towing away my electric vehicle from your charging station and ruining my day. Your location is listed as a public charging spot but your parking policies don't even allow me to use it when I need it. Software on the car doesn't tell me what your parking policies are so I don't know until I get there. I don't get towed away from the gas pump so why should I get towed away from a charging station? Can I help it that it takes time to charge? It was an empty garage and I wasn't there for parking. I wasn't blocking anybody. I had no charge to drive around looking for other places to charge up. My EV doesn't have a reserve gas tank. An EV owner is not the type of person to make trouble in your garage. Store manager's response: "Too bad, sorry". Shame on you Publix, my new last resort supermarket.

I am a frequent shopper at Publix Greenwise(a few times each week). Tonight’s experience had an equal amount of pros and cons...I tried to reason because it’s 9 pm on a Monday night, however; this is my usual day and time. Pros - Selection of RX Bars(although stock is short), plenty of my favorite Dannon banana cream yogurt and macadamia nuts and coconut chips and egg whites, large selection of travel size toiletries, parking Cons - No citrus grilled chicken in the deli section, no unsweetened carob covered almonds, thankfully a few elli Quark left(This location only carries two flavors - vanilla bean and brownie batter. If you haven’t tried this creamy German spoon able fresh cheese put it on your shopping list.), one register open with 4 customers waiting to check out despite plenty of employees.

I went in for lunch with my partner in crime and my little ones lol and we were NOT disappointed. Place was clean, the salad bar was clean and they had everything stocked (no empty or cold trays) food looked fresh and warm. We ate in the car from how good the food looked and it tasted as good as it looked lol. Salad was fresh and crispy. Kids were more than please with their meals. The manager in charge of the kitchen today with a pink shirt on was absolutely amazing. Talk about awesome customer service. She definitely has it.... We will be coming here more often. It was worth the drive. Not only was the manager nice, so was the employees. Food had taste and the roast beef and grilled chicken were juicy and had flavor. Thanks guys!!! We appreciate you all.

Great shopping space. High quality groceries and deli options. I've shopped there numerous times. But this is based on my most recent visit. I offer the first star for being acknowledged: after I stood at the coffee bar next to the deli (a few feet from the Customer Service desk) for a few minutes, somebody acknowledged my presence and yelled to somebody else. I looked around and waited. I didn't see anybody approach the coffee bar to take my order, and I didn't see anyone around to respond. Nobody came around for the period of time I thought was reasonable to have to wait around when there were no other customers ahead of me, so I left. But I give it a second star in the spirit of inclusion: I don't think anybody would have received good service.

  • Alexandra Phillips

It's great to have both health food and regular grocery options in one store! I do prefer Rollin Oats and Whole Foods larger selections but it's very convenient to have this Publix in my neighborhood. On a whim I contacted the manager about offering a larger selection of vegan products. Within a couple of weeks they started carrying Gardein, vegan frozen pizzas and vegan cheese! Great customer service! Also, I love that they don't bombard you with greetings. If I look like I need help they always ask. I hate when I just turn down an aisle and immediately get hit with questions. Also, I love the parking garage. It rains so much here so it's nice to not get drenched walking to your car with groceries. Best Publix in town!

  • Tonks416

Seriously, don't waste your time. This Publix used to be known for their great selection of hot/fresh foods and quality service. Not even remotely true anymore. Their hot foods are on a buffet table which sits out all day. Their bakery/deli/sandwich/fried foods department employees will all look at you waiting and then completely ignore you and your attempts to get access to the foods locked away behind their viewing cases. Also, the stockers won't acknowledge your presence or help you find anything either. And the checkout personnel don't bother asking if you found everything etc. I'd love to say this is the worst Publix I've been to, but honestly all of the ones in Tampa are have been well below par for a while now.

Publix Hyde Park did our cake and it was beautiful and delicious! The bakery team was responsive and easy to work with, and we were able to call and make changes as needed. Beware, the dye in the frosting turned our tongues bright green! We didn’t mind and it provided us with lots of funny photos, but if this is something that would ruin your day, I recommend asking to try some different colors when you do your tasting. The highlight of the night though was the incredible dessert table, all provided by Publix. We are still getting compliments on how delicious everything was and my Midwest family couldn’t believe everything was from a grocery store. You cannot go wrong using Publix for your big day!

  • Antonayja D

Super rude manger Henji and they other tall bald headed manger there rude in raises there disrespectful to all the customers that comes here I will never come back to this store and shop to horrible and not only it’s unprofessional nobody never at the backery or cashier all the workers act slow the manger doesn’t do there job to busy & the back sitting on there phone and being an as hole because there not on there stuff handling they business please they need to fire these guys they doesn’t mean no good at all honestly they got rude with me soon as I walk inside please fire them worst store I’ve ever experienced DONT GO HERE THEY RAISES AND NASTY !

Everyone knows that Publix is a name that's synonymous with customer service, and so we expect nothing less. This morning they exceeded the usual. I had a large order to commence Teacher's Appreciation Week. Megan in the deli department really went above and beyond for me. She not only walked me through the process, but aided with suggestions, gathered items ordered from other departments, and had my entire order ready well ahead of the expected time. She helped to ease my anxiety and was so patient with me (Lord knows I asked a million questions). I truly appreciate Megan!!! Thank you for exemplifying why we shop at Publix.

  • Betty from Back on the Rack Again

Super clean and the staff was super nice! The prices are high but I feel like the prices of groceries are high everywhere. They did have good sales though! Tons of buy one get one free stuff! We are here from out of town so I thought that we would have to sign up for their shopper card but we did not! They honored the sales with no shopper bonus card that's pretty awesome! Also this grocery store has a parking garage on top of it and then you take an escalator down into the store. That's pretty cool. When our GPS said that we were there it was hard to distinguish that it was a grocery store from the outside.

  • Paul Walker

The deli manager on duty started yelling at the one girl doing subs. Telling her to get through the line faster. For a deli with 3-4 sub stations and only 1 person hworking it is kinda sad. Maybe instead of screaming at employees, get gloves on and help. I'd give a 5 star for the deli girl. 1 star for the management. I'd give a 3 star for check out since the checkout girl threw my sub down. Front end management seen just standing around up front while there is 2 cashiers and a line 7 people deep on each register lane open. Wish there was a survey on the receipt since no one will read this review anyways

There is a reason why this is the #1 Publix for wedding cakes and one of the highest rated bakeries in the Tampa Bay area. The cake was beautiful... come on look at it!! It tasted amazing too. Service was over the top from the time we first met with the catering department, the cake tasting, iroing out the "vision", working with Vanessa Christensen (assitant manger) to make sure the gum paste flowers were the perfect color and with bakery manager, James Jacobs, who delivered and set up the cake, the experience was wonderful. Thank you Publix for being a part of my daugthers wedding.

  • DeCarr Covington (Dowman)

I have always been a fan of Publix and Publix Supermarket at Hyde Park is one of my favorites. It has a fairly eclectic layout, with the parking upstairs and an escalator ride to the first floor shopping. It is a compact area but is spaciously apportioned, with wide shopping isles and well and appropriately labeled areas. The produce is varied and fresh, and the bakery, deli and seafood sections are first rate. The grab and go area is exceptional. The staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. This Publix used to be a Greenwise, and I believe made the transition gracefully.

  • Bruce Young

The petite, Deli/Hot foods manager is the epitome of excelling in Customer Service. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong but she was right there, finding workarounds and solutions to a fountain drink machine out of order, broken ice machine, hot foods table not regulating food temp and famous baked beans and NY style potato salad sold out. And no unsweetened ice tea in individual serving or quart size. Publix - your labeled foods are so good you cannot keep stocked! We received the best fantail fresh fried shrimp & chicken tenders - ever! Lookout KFC & CHICK-FIL-A.

  • Fez Miester

Compared to what? What I don't like is that it has a Monopoly on supermarkets in Florida .. like Safeway does in California or did 20 years ago .. and you have to search out for aldi or sprouts or trader Joe's the first one came 20 years after I moved here and all there was was Publix... In some senses it's the lowest common denominator which is at the corporate level extremely Republican... I'm told.. I avoid generally... It has terrible fresh food in general and high prices in that department... Still a lot of people go there idk

  • bourque amanda

Is Publix a supermarket or dog park? I think they are also confused, as I am. Managers need to be reminded that dogs inside of an establishment that sells food is a health code violation. I saw 3 dogs wandering around the aisles on my visit today. Obviously, untrained dogs with normal collars. Not genuine working dogs. It's disgusting and highly unsanitary. Managers and staff do not seem to care either. Also, to the people bringing their dogs to the supermarket... seriously, why?? No one wants your dog slopping on food for sale.

  • Lindsay Hardee

Not only is there a great selection of groceries at this location, but the customer service is wonderful as well. I couldn’t find the right size pork shoulder so the guys in the meat area offered to cut a new one for me. I also dropped a huge glass bottle of olive oil on the floor that spilled everywhere and the staff was quick to respond. I wish I got the two gentlemens names because they were so kind during my embarrassment and laughed it off with me while helping clean my slimy sandals lol. 10/10!

  • Ivone’s Ma A

I personally needed the services and just wanted to thank one of your employees that I met today. A Star just like her name called Starr Williams today I went to buy lunch for 8 of my coworkers who are in court, She was very professional, courteous saw me in need of help and came to help me right away and has a beautiful spirit! It was an absolute pleasure I recommend everyone to go to this store! This company is very lucky to have such a wonderful person on their team! Thank you.

  • Ray Centeno

This Publix is amazing cause it has a parking garage. I would say about 2 floors. It’s spacious and if you are visiting Hyde Park you can leave your car there if parking is an issue. Don’t be a jerk, don’t misuse it. The Publix is nice, clean, and it got everything. It looks large if you are coming from the garage but it’s the same size as any other Publix. You know what else is cool? There is an escalator for people and for your carts. Pretty nice if you are of age.

  • Juliet Oliva

My daughter just picked up this cake at this location, it's been barely 2hrs and this is what I got for my daughter's birthday party. It costed me a lot to look at this and believe it was done by Publix bakery. How much more this companies need to degrade the services to bring to us. This is so disappointing Update: Publix at Redington beach refunded the money to my daughter and we buy a new cake wich was exquisite. Thanks to the store at Redington Beach!!

  • Jay Young

This GreenWise store is very clean . The staff are there to assist you . Right down to the manager . It has lots of organic foods . A big selection of Herbs & vitamins . More variety of other healthy foods . A buffet that you weight the food by the pound. The list go on and on and it's worth it . I shop here adleast twice a month . The price of the merchandise is not costly at all . Plus I love the buy one get one free items . I wished it had 10 Stars ☺

  • M P

This is perhaps one of the cleanest grocery stores around, even by the already very high standards of Publix. The store is well stocked and the staff is very friendly. I can always find a wide array of foods that I want. The selection of cheese and deli items is remarkable. Finally, $5.00 Sushi Wednesday is a great place to get a quick bite to eat if in a hurry for lunch. The outdoor patio area to eat is a nice touch as well.

  • Carol Redmon Smith

I normally don't shop at Publix, but we happen to be in the area so we stop there, it's was beautiful, the staff there were friendly and very helpful, we brought a Beautiful Birthday Cake, it was very fresh and tasty.but what really amaze me was the escalators, this Publix had an escalator were in you can have your buggy go up the escalators along with you I thought that was so cool it was definitely convenient.

  • Shawn Patel

This Publix Bakery is the worst. They never anyone at the bakery section, always have to go to the customer service desk for them to call for the bakery person. And even when they call for them the bakery section doesn’t show up. I had a long day at work and I was looking forward to getting a jumbo m&m cookie and of course no one in sight in the bakery section. Basically go anywhere else for your bakery needs.

  • Logan B

As a local, I'm sure it's annoying having to navigate the same ol' parking lot and etc. just to shop for groceries. As a tourist like me, seeing a 2-story Publix is unbelievable and something that is once-in-a-lifetime. They have a cart escalator! Definitely a fun place to shop, they have a wide variety of stuff at the deli and the store is very modern and clean. No issues here. Very positive experience!!!

  • Miranda Brooks

It was cool bc we're not used to city groceries. We had to park in the garage, the the escalator down and back up, including a special one for our cart, we got a kick out of that. The deli was super friendly. It's always haed to shop a new store but this one in particular was especially difficult bc the way the aisles arent all parallel, some are perpedicular and somw are the double the normal length.

  • Ashley Marie Gaugh

Dont get to this Publix much because i don't live close. So when I was in the area and my son and niece were with me. I took them to it. They had the best time. Because we parked on top of store and took escalators as well as they enjoyed the cart lift. Amazing prices, in store coupons. Who doesn't love that. Spent a total of $$ with lots of groceries. Super nice check out cashier and grocery bagger.

  • Rhea Rossiter Koziatek

The Best Grocery Store I've Ever Been To Sometimes when I'm in a bad mood I just go to Greenwise Publix because it's awesome. Amazing health food selection, and I eat from their salad bar/ hot bar at least 2 times a week. Great wine selection and everyone is super friendly. Beautiful store too, it's the classiest grocery store I've ever seen it's like a designer version of the already great Publix.

  • Tyler

Carmen made my sandwiches while cleaning and helping other customers. Noticed she was a real team player while the other workers around her were falling short of expectation. This Publix needs to evaluate the made to order food section including making Carmen in charge of training. It would definitely be a faster cleaner and more positive vibe if she was the manager. Thanks for the pub subs!!

  • Guadalupe De La Vina

I have to comment on your staff members. They are wonderful. I had left where I was looking at for sandwiches and then went to the line and two of your staff members said that since I am in a wheelchair I could have ordered from where I was at. The young lady asked me what sandwich I wanted and she went to make them for me. I wish I got their names. It was a lady and a gentleman. Thanks.

  • Buck Buchanan

This grocery store is super cool. You park on the second level, so if it's raining, you still dry loading groceries. The grocery store is on the first floor. So you ride an escalator down. Then you do your shopping, then once you check out. Then, the carts are designed to go up the escalator, and they lock in to the escalator and go up to the second level. It's super cool and a most visit.

  • Edward Leon

Is it even necessary to rate this store? I absolutely give it 5 stars before even entering lol. This is the only grocery store around i know of that requires you AND YOUR CART to take the escalator!!!! How awesome is that??! You'd seriously be cutting yourself short by not experiencing shopping here. Needless to say, the selection inside is matched by none in the area as well.

  • Whitney Boyett

Even though this is no longer a greenwise it is still one of the best Publix in Tampa! I love how it has that overseas feel. They have a new bakery manager who makes the most adorable cakes every season! I'm sure if you order one they will be amazing as well but they have them already prepared ready to go for any holiday. The people in the deli are super friendly and helpful!

  • Tajuana Scott

This is my new favorite Publix! I live in Largo but my boyfriend lives in Tampa, so I Google the closet Publix & let me tell you I was impressed. It's fancy, with the escalators & elevators.I spent most of my time & money in the produce section because they have a large selection of organic fruits & vegetables. I highly recommend & will definitely visit as much as I can.

  • Brittany

Whatever they are using to clean the kids shopping carts causes severe irritation to both my child's skin. Like immediate screaming/burning. Please stop using this. Also, note this new greenwise doesn't offer the same services as a regular Publix which was really disappointing considering the old greenwise was amazing. It's a very rushed experience in the new store.

  • Leonel Jimenez

This is a premier publix they have a lot of extra items that other publix don't have. Plus the staff here is more friendly without asking they asked me if I needed some help and took me to find the items I needed. Everyone had a smile on them and were as happy as someone who just won the lottery. I was truly amazed just wish all the Publix were like this one.

  • Elijah Miller

Should Publix have the ability to duplicate their deli worker, Destiny, they would unquestionably secure the title of the finest supermarket worldwide! Additionally, Joey, her supervisor, exhibited remarkable attentiveness. I am truly grateful for the exceptional level of care and customer service they delivered during a particularly hectic time of day.

  • chris cms24

It would be my favorite Publix, but this location is more of a mini-mart than a grocery store. Most of the time I go, this location either doesn’t have a specific item, or their stock of an item is gone. There’s one just a little farther away, and that’s my new go-to location. It’s not as clean but always has what I’m looking for at the other site.

  • Mary Lynne Healy

We go here all the time. We live close by. This is a Great store with a parking garage so in rainy weather you are fine! My only complaint would be that we used to be able to talk to and use a butcher but not now. All the meat is pre packaged. And occasionally you can't find everything here! But it is clean convenient and the people are wonderful!

  • Joni Gun97

Even though you need to take an escalator or elevator into the store, it's still quick. Also my back was going out & there was a plugged in & charged electric cart ready to go on the parking lot level in front of the elevator. The elevators are huge so you can maneuver an electric cart in them with no problem even if there are other people in it.

  • L Knight

This is the 3rd time I have had very poor service in the sub salad area. Your staff seem to be clock watchers and excuse makers. I shop at many of your stores throughout Tampa and Sarasota, while I think this location and store are one of your best, I think you might need a change of staff and perhaps management at this location.

  • Georgetta Sherron

First time ever going there, probaly last. Im disabled , even though I managed the escalator once arriving on floor couldn't locate motorized chair. NO ONE offered to look elsewhere. Wasn't able to shop, ended up sitting in restaurant part until my party was done with HER shopping. I wanted to shop also. Wad VERY disappointed!!!

  • Tara Marie

Megan and the other girl (I’m so sorry! My phone deleted the other review that i started which had her name on it) Blonde hair and a beautiful accent too. She has gone above and beyond the past few times that we’ve been in there! Tonight her AND Megan did! Happy new year to you both and thank you for the great service!! ♥️

  • Amber Nicole

Amazing atmosphere! This store in particular is very clean and the customer service was amazing . Lines were quick. Jay assisted me to an item I could not find and Jamar offered carry out service and I was very pleased with their kindness . Thank you gentlemen for all your help and all that you do as an essential worker !

  • Megan O'Neil

The head butcher Angel was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I am not very familiar with different kinds of meat and he offered his advice on what Is best for grilling and some other grilling tips. Our burgers turned out great that night! He was very friendly and made my shopping experience a good one. Thanks, Angel!

  • Jennifer

Great customer service. Typically, never wait in line to check out. Pleasant employees. My only complaint would be the amount of time it takes to order a Pub sub. No one seems to be moving very fast. Like no sense of urgency to wait on the line of customers syacking up. But, I guess that's the world we live in now.

  • Robert Lynch

I Waited in the sandwich line twenty minutes while the customer in front of me orders two sandwiches . Three people show up on the other side and wanted to order some chicken tenders. She leaves me standing there and waits on all three of those customers while I was next. Please Kroger come to Tampa!!!!

  • terre tulsiak

Stopped making the bread and rolls I went there for, didn't have vanilla bean Haagen Dahz (even though it's on sale and they always run out,) and even the dark brown chips they stock at the south Tampa Publix aren't here. But it's clean and friendly. But I was oddly reluctant to buy ground beef...

  • Janice Brewton

The store is huge and immaculate. The staff is very friendly always ready to assist you and the management is outstanding. My shopping is always a pleasure at this store location. I visit this store 4 or more times a week, the buffet bar is delicious and offers a selection each day of the week.

  • Alan Chastain

WARNING! If want a sub, do not come here! You have to wait on average 15-20 minutes just to place your order with only one person working the counter and no flex person to assist. This person is fulfilling on-line orders and in person orders. Been waiting 15 minutes now and still no movement

  • roland valle

That store in Hyde Park if I'm not mistaken by Azeal Top Hand top crew clean professional friendly and willing to be accommodating to my menu I choose that store always when I select that menu to choose from Publix continue to support your team there pretty please they do a hell of a job

  • Nattaya R.

Great customer service I’ve ever experienced. Especially the meat department. Everyone was so helpful, tried their best helping me get what I wanted. Everyone in the store is so friendly and ready to help you whenever you need help. I’m impressed every time I go to Publix this location.

This is a very pretty store. So we decided to get their meal in a bag prep. What a rip off!! Cheap turkey meat, small bag of green beans and microwave rice. NEVER NEVER AGAIN! I should have taken pictures of this ridiculous excuse for ingredients, from what looked like a nice store.

I'm experiencing this 2nd time..i bought grocery on 9/21/16 label on snack sprouts says need to use by 9/26/16..but I saw spoiled sprouts inside it after I started eating it. I was in assumption that PUBLIX will have good quality..I will NEVER buy ready to buy food in PUBLIX..!!

Convenient Publix if you’re in this area. I do miss the original Greenwise here…that was as good a foos shopping experience in Tampa during its first 2 years of operation. Then Publix management took away store control and it basically became another Publix. Still a nice Publix…

  • Andrew Wyman

This is the best Publix. Why? Parking garage. I don't have to dodge rainstorms getting to the car and it is never a journey to get in and out either. It is much better selection after they dropped the greenwise and made it s normal Publix so now I always like this location.

Joanna in the wine department was AMAZING! I had been searching for this special wine for my husbands birthday and although it was not something they carried she found a store that did. I had been to 6 locations trying to find it. Her customer service was above and beyond.

  • Marsha Montoya

Very appealing in every way. Good displays of merchandise, well lit, fresh looking deli and bakery items. Nice salad bar-buffet. Even a Starbucks with gelato and tables to sit and enjoy. Employees seem happy. It was an over-all pleasant shopping and lunchtime experience !

  • Lamberto Mathurin

This place never disappoints. Great ambiance and even better food. It’s a professional crowd that shows up; upper middle class to upper class clientele. It’s a go-to lunch spot during the week. The menu is full of excellent, flavorful dishes that are enjoyed by all.

  • EDDIE LEAL

Decent place to shop. Selection is huge. Parking area can be a little troublesome. Traffic coming in and out of the parking area can be a bit crazy at times. Drive carefully as you are driving up the ramp toward the parking area and as you are leaving.

I came here to order my sons wedding cake. Awesome people. Very professional. I met the assistant store manager. Great guy. Their cake is very good. As soon as you enter the shop you can smell very severe Asian food. Very nicely looking shop.

  • C. Pearson

I just don’t like the staff. I tried many times to do pick up orders for my firm here but it’s wrong every time and while that’s on Instacart, the employees don’t bother to correct anything. So I have lost money without getting my products.

This is by far the biggest Publix we’ve ever been too. We did a quick stop when we got to Tampa. Their tiramisu and sushi were so fresh and delicious. Publix where we live does not do samples - so it was very surprising to see that here.

  • J. Caroline Barker

A very nice public superior very good customer care. I was able to find everything that I needed. This Publix hasn't asked you later to go up to the parking which I felt safe and secure. We'll most definitely be seeing this Publix again

  • Dana King

We chose our wedding cake from Publix and we were thrilled. It was absolutely beautiful and it was delicious. We appreciate the efforts of the bakery and the catering team for making this beautiful cake and delivering it to our venue!

  • Timothy Fay

This is one of my favorite Publix locations. They have a salad/hot food bar, full deli, and a very large store with so much to choose from. The parking garage is a nice touch, and the electric vehicle charging station is a huge plus.

  • Maria Santiago

Nice variety of options for organic greenwise products. The service is always good, fresh foods. This publix has a parking garage, elevator & escalator. You could hitch your cart on the escalator for a ride up which is super cool.

  • Tim Poulos

No longer a Greenwise just a Regular Publix...same layout minus the dedicated cheese section. Still a good place to shop, especially during Florida rainy season. This Publix has a parking structure with an elevator and escalator.

  • Candace Marie

The prices of Publix have gone up which has to be the only thing I don't like. Service is good. Hot food is good. And I LOVE that there is a garage so you don't have to get wet during the several month rainy season we have.

  • Lucas Rubinstein

It was very well laid out, and the parking above the store makes it super convenient. Great hot food section and quick uncrowded checkout. Overall, it was a pleasant and quick shopping experience.

  • Tracey Murray

The updated layout is great! The quality of the produce is good. The staff are helpful. A nice clean store. All in all, a really good publix experience! And parking in a garage under cover, nice!

  • Ana Santiago

First of all the employees are so attentive and nice. The store is so organized that it did not matter that i went on during rush time as I found everything needed and was able to check out fast.

  • Colorado Home Roofing

This Publix is always clean and the employees are very helpful with finding anything you may need. The hot food is always good. I can say I have never had a bad experience there. Good job!

  • Cynthia Smith

This Publix is huge! Didn't get a chance to look at entire store, this was my first visit there. Clean and friendly staff. Out of some of the items I wanted. Overall a great store

  • Francisco M Gonzalez

Great for last minute items. Quick in and out. This store is considerably smaller than most Publix stores. So stock is limited. I use a full size Publix for most of my shopping.

  • micah phagan

This store looks like it has a new experimental layout for Publix, It seems a little more whole foods inspired. Overall it is a better location than the smaller channel club one

  • Cary Christian

This publix used to be a Greenwise and is really small. Parking is up two stories then shopping is down a escalator. Selections of items is limited and I didn't see a pharmacy.

  • James Friedsam

This Publix used to be a GreenWise Publix and was converted into a regular Publix. Therefore it is a very unique store and still very beautiful just like the GreenWise Publix.

  • Maggie Algarin

The staff here are really friendly and helpful. There is a huge produce and bakery section. Like a lot of South Tampa businesses, parking can be a little confusing and tight.

  • De ole Prophet

I got spoiled by the publix in Dunedin. Each morning, I got in for two donuts. The look and taste fresh. Unfortunately, this Publix appearance and taste was very different.

  • Shelby G

Miss Judy and Miss Alice were the loveliest cashiers I’ve ever had. Good on Publix for hiring elderly workers. I’ll be returning in the hopes of seeing those two ladies!

  • Susie A

Always clean. Make sure you visit the cheese department. They've always got great deals. Love going to this Publix they're green wise. Turkey is amazing for lunch meat

  • LUIS

Store was very clean, went to get a sandwich for lunch, line wasn't as bad as usual.. Lady was nice and accommodating, got me out quickly and sandwich was vary good..

  • Genesis Orama

Honestly worst Publix I’ve been too. Something is always missing when ordering ahead. Some of them are Great workers, respectfully the deli needs better management.

  • Danielle Hall

Went during the hurricane and I just went to wal mart down the road which by the way has no structure publix omg line were so short with alot of people there thanks

  • Diane-elaine Speros Crowthers

This is my favorite Publix in the nearby area. It's clean and modern, easy to get around, and parking is in a garage so your car stays out of the hot Florida sun.

  • Jacob Martin

Smaller than a usual Publix but always well stocked and mostly has everything you’d need. Can be less busy during certain times because it’s in a college-ish area

  • V Prabhu

Didn't know about this hidden gem. Parking is not an issue and staff is friendly. 4 stars since its a bit difficult to identify how to get into the parking lot.

  • Rachel Barker

$5 sushi on Wednesdays and it was really good. The staff was really helpful but the coffee machine and escalator were not working though. Good parking garage.

  • Constance Hines

Gourmet Publix is stunning. Lots of ready to go hot & cold items. Excellent produce selection, always fresh. Garage parking, stay out of the rain that way!

  • TrIp1e A

The customer service worker "Alice" saved my life, I was new in town and my ran out of battery. She helped me recharge it, order an Uber and get home safe.

  • Rafael E. Fuentes-Jaimán

Centrally located in the heart of Tampa. This location function as any regular Publix Supermarket. The location has great services in all the departments.

  • Peter Bogacz

Clean and well stocked like all their other stores. You do need to park in the parking garage unless you are walking or riding your bike to the store.

  • Vassilios Kukorinis

Freshness variety and mainly smily and polite employees. Prices are a little stiff but a lot of overcharges. Not mistakes. Intensional Overcharges.
