We came here stoked about the great reviews... This is legitimately the absolute worst service and management I've ever witnessed at a restaurant. My party of four came in, sat down (in a restaurant that was over half empty), and were informed that the wait for the food would be a bit longer than normal. My whole group having worked in food service before, we totally understood and verbalized this. We ordered our food straightaway -- 2 hours later, we're sitting there, table blank. At this point, we've watched waitresses stand by and chitchat, kitchen members stand by and chitchat, and the manager chug down multiple cans of Liquid Death like a frat kid and laugh it up with the front staff while the four or so remaining tables stayed empty and hungry. Finally, a member of my party went over and mentioned our lack of any food to the manager. He told us he'd clear our bill and provide us our food in 5 minutes. 20 minutes later, we're still sitting there and the manager and waitress are gone again. When we DO find our waitress, she checks with the kitchen again and tells us our meals have been cancelled. Cancelled. When we were told we'd be given our food 15 minutes ago, after ordering nearly 3 hours ago at this point. At this discovery, all of our patience went out the window. We told her we definitely didn't cancel our orders -- then the kitchen staff said they're prioritizing our orders -- and 20 minutes later we're still. Sitting. At this point, I went up there and asked for our food. I didn't see our names on any of the receipts anywhere. The cook(? I think?) asked me what table I was sitting at. I told him. He said "We're trying to serve a whole restaurant, we'll get to it." I told him I understand, but we've been here for 3 hours and we were told our food would be served now 30 minutes ago by the manager. He goes "Oh, we're packing those meals to go." I said, "To go? We never said that." "Well, that's what we were told." Okay, fine, works for us. We didn't want to be there longer than we had to either. At this point (9:15pm), I told him my brother was getting lightheaded, we were feeling sick, and that 3 hours is more than enough time to at least get one or two meals out to one of 4 or 5 tables that were seated out of 20+ in the restaurant at that time. The kicker? When we finally received our to-go meals, turns out our waitress had put in several aspects of our orders wrong to begin with. We understand she was likely overwhelmed and she doesn't run the kitchen, but my word, that could've been remediated had we been served even at least 2 hours prior. She did offer us a free round of shots, though; which we politely declined due to, well, being so hungry we were lightheaded and our stomachs were completely empty and had nothing to soak those lovely shots up. I've been on Google for almost a decade and have never left a bad review as I try to understand every situation when it happens, but my word...I wish I could leave 0 stars for service. This restaurant shouldn't even be considered whenever anyone visits Indianapolis, unless they have a whole half a day set aside. Honestly the worst food service my party and I have ever experienced in our lives. Save yourself the trouble (and time...so much time). Hopefully the restaurant pursues better management, at the very least. Wild.

Extra thick cut, 98% fat free, and cured well. Best of all, it's gluten free for a person with celiac disease like me. What am I talking about? It's Kirkland's Signature Premium Extra Thick Steak Strips, of course! You can't go wrong with this food package for a car trip to a city like Indianapolis for a convention you've been looking forward to attending for over six years. It especially hits the spot after you've been waiting over 3 hours for food at a restaurant that, once delivered, wasn't cooked properly and didn't match your order nor met your dietary restrictions that you asked about (and which was never answered by staff). But don't worry, Kirkland's Steak Strips won't put you in the hospital - they're already cooked, ready and safe to eat. Kirkland's Steak Strips are so good even at 10pm, after a long evening of waiting for an order that actually got cancelled by an inept Liquid Death-chugging manager after yourself and your friends expressed concerns over your wait countless times, being told again and again that it would just be 5 more minutes until your food arrived. But you know what you don't have to wait for? Kirkland's Steak Strips. They're always ready for you, sealed in that snazzy black bag and packed with a blast of flavorful protein. Costco is there for those who care about what they eat and want to have a good time chowing down. For everyone else - especially in Indianapolis - there's Punch Bowl Social, where you can go to play a tournament of Exploding Kittens at your table and eat... well, as it turned out for me, absolutely nothing!

Gluten-free options mean jack squat when you don't take care to be clear to your patrons about how the food is prepared, or even follow the specific gluten-free order given by a patron. Take the options seriously or just have some integrity and take them off of the menu so suckers like me don't read your website and think Punch Bowl Social is a safe place to eat.

I had a very poor experience at the Indianapolis location last night. I called ahead and asked how the karaoke rooms worked and they said they were first come but not super popular. When we got here security guided us where to go to get a room for karaoke. I went to the desk and he said it would be 30 minutes before a room was available and that it would be AT LEAST that long. We sat at a table very near to the desk yet never saw anyone return any microphones or were ever flagged down by the desk guy who obviously saw us waiting. After about 45 minutes I went back up to the desk and he said that it would be another hour and a half more since we didn’t come back “right when he said”. We decided to wait and watched several groups of people who arrived after us go up to the desk and receive microphones before us. It took WAITING A TOTAL OF 2.5 HOURS and talking to other staff to even get a room. The microphones also did not work well during our time in the room and the song options were not very expansive. When returning our microphones, the man made a snarky comment about how we were early and when asked how early he said 1 minute and laughed. This was extremely condescending and unprofessional. I honestly wish I didn’t spend money on the karaoke and will not be returning in the future. While the drinks were very good, it took a long time to get served despite not being very busy and the fries we ordered were cold. The environment is the only positive thing about this location. I normally don’t leave reviews but had such a bad experience that compelled me to share with others

By far one of the worst dining experiences I had. Me & my friend made reservations for a Saturday night, got there had to seat ourselves no one asked us if we had a reservation then someone came over after we picked a table and told us we had to move then asked if we had a reservation which we said yes. They wiped a table sat us and gave us menus, our server comes over ask us for drinks after we just sat down not even 30 seconds ago. He grabs us waters, no straws then we ask for straws he gets irritated. We then look over the menu, put in a appetizer. He brings us the drink i ordered again no straw, we wait for the appetizer & want to put our oder in i ask him a suggestion on what to order he tells me runs off after my order doesnt even ask my friend what his was. Comes back to the table 5/6 times frantically continuously asking what I ordered finally gets my friends order we wait about 30 mins and in those 30 minutes he keeps coming back asking what we ordered and we keep telling him. Mind you same guy. He then brings us our check without us ever receiving food and waits around for us to pay but we’re confused because he rung up our food but we never received it. So as he is standing there we are lole wheres the food hes like oh sorry they gave you guys the wrong menu we’re only doing late night menu we cant make your food well why didnt u just give us the late night menu instead of basically kicking us out. Honestly thought the guy was on drugs, have never been treated so poorly let alone rushed kicked out of a restaurant leaving hungry and unsatisfied. I wont be back ever.

I have only gone to PBS for a quick bite and drinks a couple of times, and from those few experiences, I'd say the regular menu isn't worth it. There's nothing special about the food, but the service is usually okay. The best thing to do at PBS is to have a catered event. At least, it used to be. I have some friends who used to host a holiday party here every year. It was a big catered event with 20 - 25 people. Their catering menu is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Plus, we'd rent out a karaoke room and a couple bowling alleys. It was always a great time. Unfortunately, things changed the last time we held the party. The event coordinator increased the price of our event about 1 or 2 weeks before it was scheduled. There was no rhyme or reason for it. We were told we had to increase our spend or we wouldn't be able to hold the party. It was truly ridiculous because we'd already had the event a couple times in previous years and we were BIG spenders who respected the space and the staff. The contact we had the last time was so rude and unprofessional. We still had the party, and it was a blast, but we knew it would be the last time we held it there. The waitstaff and food were phenomenal, but the event coordinator needs a reality check. It was incredibly foolish to ruin the relationship when we brought them good, reliable business every year.

I really wanted to like this place, because it has such a neat concept. Unfortunately, it took over 2 hours for food to come out, and when it did, it was lukewarm like it had sat in the pass for a while. Plus, there are food allergies we told them about (gluten/soy) and so we ordered 2 meals with that caveat (example: no garlic bread). After over 2 hours and the other meals coming out first (and the waitress not remembering who had the allergies and putting the wrong meals in front of people), that third meal came out with the bread sitting on top of it so we obviously couldn't eat it. The waitress was nice when we saw her, but left us in the dark about the wait on the food, and with such an extreme wait including messing up our order so badly that one person didn't get fed at all, you'd think they would have done something...comp fries during the extra long wait, reduced price, or make sure our drinks were full at the very least. I sat for over an hour and a half just with ice in front of me.

The atmosphere is amazing!! There is so so much to do here for everyone! Very diverse crowd and staff which is always great to see. After 10pm. It is 21+ which is when we went vut we will take the kids next time because we plan to return. The only issue was the service. Our server wasnt very attentive at all (she had many tables) but, she clearly asked us if she could take the table that came in AFTER us as she asked if it was ok told us they were there first (they were NOT, otherwise why ask us first?) I ordered the chicken and waffles which had a really good balance and taste but it was served pretty cold, our food sat in the window for some time. My boyfriend ordered a burger and fries. The burger was great, the fries were cold but had a good flavor and crisp when dropped fresh..ours were very cold so they re-dropped the same fries for us instead of making new fresh ones, that was a disappointment. The sauce served w the fries is really good. We also did not recieve our waters during our meal, I had to sip the ice from my cocktail we ordered previously because there was just no getting or keeping our servers attention. Still, we would like to return and just hope for better service because this is a really cool place.

A friend made reservations for a table for 8 for my birthday. We weren't able to play any activities due to the crowd and no availability. However, the food was excellent! I had the catfish sandwich(must be paired with the house's coleslaw)! I sampled the Ruben sandwich (delicious) and the chicken and waffles. I would recommend them all! Our waitress, however, may have been assigned a bit more than she could handle. Her attention span was very short, she kept walking away mid someone's either drink or food order. Our food came very staggered and served by several different servers, thought that was odd‍♀️ Overall, definitely recommend!

Cool restaurant/bar and the food was good. The waitress was horrible though. We were there on a work event and asked the waitress at least 3 times to split the bill since it was a company expense. She said she got it and surprise, one bill comes in the end. She basically said she couldn’t correct it, I just think she was lazy. She only brought half of us napkins and utensils, when we asked for some more, she looked at the people with finger foods (tacos) and actually asked why we need it, I said can you at least bring us napkins.(were we supposed to wipe our hands on our shirt). Also never came back to ask us if we needed refills. We finished our food and went somewhere else to have drinks and hangout.

We arrived early for our reservation, admittedly, and asked if we could be seated early. I thought this was a yes or no kinda question, turns out it was a "tell us to walk to the other side of the restaurant and ask anther person who will then tell you the first person should've told you xyz info and then walk you back to the other side where the original person will attempt to seat you, then seem very inconvenienced about it" kinda question. After being seated we waited a good minute for a server to show up and rush through some info we could barely hear about the things offered. When she removed glasses that had been sitting already on the table for an unknown amount of time for our waters we changed our minds about wanting to eat there. Kinda just got the vibe from everyone we encountered in this establishment that we were an inconvenience it was a very odd and off-putting experience.

Not a great experience. A friend and I just wanted to play ping pong. I called before showing up and inquired on cost per hour to play. Some gentleman on the phone didn’t know so he put me on hold. Some lady picked up and told me $12 per hour. I arrived to punch bowl, paid money to park downtown and entered the area where the ping ping table was located. We noticed a private party was going in next to the bar. We approached the shoes area and told the employee behind the counter who had his headphones in his ears and was on his phone that we wanted an hour of ping pong. He told us we couldn’t play because there was a private gathering and if we weren’t part of it, we couldn’t play. Had I known this ahead of time, I wouldn’t have shown up. Instead, PB failed to notify me of such information over the phone. I won’t be coming back and management needs to educate their staff. Trash experience.

We had brunch at Punch Bowl on a Saturday. They did not seem too busy, maybe they have less staff rn but service was pretty slow. Our server Chyanne seemed to be doing her best but we still waited awhile to order, to ask for ketchup after food was delivered, and then for our checks. There was a mistake on my check but thankfully it got fixed. We wanted to play some games but since things took longer we ended up just doing the free corn hole. It looks like there are lots of fun options for games. The hostess said none of the games were free but the gentleman in charge of bowling knew that some were. The food was good, too and everyone enjoyed their drinks.

If you eat here be prepared for some of the slowest service you can imagine. We were sat quickly but then it took almost 30 minutes to get our drinks, another hour to get apps and then actual dinner didn't arrive until 2 hours after we sat down. We were told that they were having "kitchen issues" but then our server would just disappear for extended periods of time or hang out chatting with the bar/hostess staff. Worst part is that by the time the entrees arrived half of them were cold. We didn't get a chance to try out the free games and hang out activities they have because the ridiculous wait time had us just mentally exhausted and ready to get out of there.

Our waitress was Kayla and she was great. You can tell she was busy but she kept coming by to see it we needed anything. She kept a smile on her face and just a very kind person. She made us aware of the prices because the place is very expensive. I got a 10$lemon drop shot, 12$ lemon drop drink. 6$ can of death water and cauliflower nachos i added chicken which made them 20$. The nachos were very good so good that they didn't really need the cauliflower or chicken and they would of been great like that. There was a lot of flavors. I also got a side of beans and they were delicious. Its a nice place i was happy to go.

So I went here on my birthday as my roommates brought me out. The food was literally cold when it arrived and there were barely any people there as it was a Tuesday afternoon, so being busy was not even an excuse. The food also did not taste good whatsoever. The service was super slow and lacking as well. The place was also crazy expensive for such a lackluster experience. To my horror, my roommates didn't bring enough to cover my portion so I ended up having to pay myself nearly $100 for an experience I wasn't fond of. The only redeeming factor was the games were a nice touch. Other than that, I'll probably never go here again.

The decor of the place was really nice.. up scale with an home feel to it as well. Clean restaurant and our server was attentive.. our meals came out in a timely fashion. I just wish the food tastes as good as it looked.. not saying it tasted bad the flavors just didn't hit me as thought it would. The roasted chicken quesadilla was good, the chips with the cheese dip was good, and the biscuit and jam was good as well. The shrimp tacos I ordered didn't quite have any flavor.. neither did the rosemary fries. Maybe the food would be better the next time we're in town. On the flip side they have like 4 bowling alley, three dart boards, two bing ball tables, mini arcade, a pool table and nice sitting area with a large jenga.

Went for brunch with the girls and I was in awe with the greatness of the food. It was delicious and enough to feed a whole family. They served us a big amount of food. They took their time to make the food and it turned out delicious. The fries were crispy good and flavorful. The chicken quesadillas were well done and juicy. The carrot juice that my friend had were good as she mentioned. Overall great place to hangout with friends. They also have a bar and arcade session. Worth every penny. Definitely will be back. And if you are careless, no worries you can pay online on your phone. Enjoy!

The pull apart bread felt undercooked on the inside as it was very dense and sometimes even doughy and was super oily. Rosemary fries were pretty good. They had a decent collection of board games and card games to play. I also liked how they had a QR code on the bill to pay it online.

Been here twice in the past month, would say this is one of the worst places I've been to when it comes to service. First time it was busy so I could excuse the ~40 minute wait, mid food, and the unclean tables that were never cleaned, but they were not busy during my 2nd visit and yet I NEVER received service during the 1 hour and 15 minutes that I was there. I wasn't even offered water. Most tables were a mess, and I barely saw any staff wandering around. I would not recommend gambling on trusting the positive reviews, take your business anywhere else

The punch bowl social is supposed to be really fun. We went there and the atmosphere was nice, quiet, fun. Food was mid- portions are on the smaller side and the taste is nothing too fancy. Drinks were horrible, they tasted like a shot even though it was a cocktail and the serving had so much ice the drink itself was so little. Our server was really patient and kind thought and that made everything kind of okay. Prices were not too bad.

SCAMMERS! Do not come here unless you want money taken from you. My husband and I ate a small bite here (fries) and played a quick game of darts when we came. We then realized 2 days later they charged us 2 different bill prizes than our original bill. Meaning they CHARGED US 3 TIMES for incorrect bill amounts 2 days later after we left. The first bartender we had was kind and attentive. After shift change around 4pm the bartender was not great, did not ask how anything was and almost cold. Very unique place. Bowling alley, board games, cool interior, very friendly staff. They have really good food too. Poblano mac & cheese was very good. The noodle were cooked perfectly. The white bbq sauce on the chicken sandwich was delicious. They give you a bowl of petite biscuits with an outstanding strawberry ginger jam to go with them. Overall a very cool place with really good food and drinks.

Place is literally dead. Nobody ever came and waited on us . People next to us same thing bowled here 2 hours no drinks. But the people working here seem like they’re having great conversation. Old food and drinks out on the tables by us the whole so somebody actually got served at some point. I should of gone with the reviews a read and not come here. Lesson learned.

I saw this place on Tik Tok and thought it was would’ve been a cool place to visit. I was right! Punch Bowl Social was a cool environment for a date night or to hang out with family and friend. I ordered shrimp tacos and a punch bowl drink (I’m in a Whiskey Diet). I also had other drinks as well and everything was amazing. It was clean and spacious. The staff was great and very sociable.

I didn’t get food so can’t say but it looked pretty good. Great buzz about the place no matter what time of day. We went around 8pm, threw some darts and had a great time. Perfect for fighting off the jet lag!

Super cool spot with something for everyone. Went for lunch on a Friday. The place is chill and has plenty of hide away spots for some privacy this time of day. Played some darts and ate some amazing bar food. The wait staff was very friendly and checked on us often. Nachos are a meal for two!

Fun hangout place. I was there for corporate events. Bar staff were nice and reasonably fast. They have karaoke, bowling, shuffleboard and more. Decent spot for downtown fun

Cute place! Waitresses were very friendly. The veggie grain bowl was inedible unfortunately as the farro was undercooked and super super chewy, but they let us get something new. The biscuits and gravy had great flavor and a nice balance of textures!

Great experience!! The most friendly staff and great tasting food. Service was top notch even while training numerous employees. I would give them my money 10 out of 10 times
