Small place tucked away in an industrial. I wish I could give it more stars , but the wait due to one waitress cost it a star. The other three star are placed on value. For two simple breakfast plates we paid $25.00. Part of that cost was because , they are one of the places that charge the ridiculous extra up-charge for egg whites. Eggs do not cost any more when they are bought to make egg whites , separating a yolk is relatively simple,and as cook even simpler.The yolk goes in the garbage and egg whites cook faster and are relatively less egg without the yolk. So the question is what are you charging extra for? So for those who like egg whites and go to places lik R Comer that charge the ridiculous extra up-charge, order sunny side up and cut around the yolk of the same eggs they charge extra for without the yolk then they can have they yolk back that goes in the garbage.

Tried R Corner for dinner on a Groupon promotion which was ridiculous in itself. The place looks like a standard and tired looking greasy spoon, probably the same look for the last twenty years (the bench seating reminds me of 70s era John Anderson's restos). Looked like the regulars are mostly retirees taking advantage of the senior specials. We ordered the salmon for the groupon meal and a regular burger with fries. Salmon with veggies looked OK, but the the fish did not taste fresh, ended up being bad news at home later. The veggies with the fish were seasoned and coated in a lot of oil. Certainly not worth the 17.99 regular entree price (highest on the menu). Burger was OK, a bit too overdone, and fries were average. Service was good. There are better places for this kind of food done fresher (i.e. the fish!) and with a better vibe in Port Credit and elsewhere.

I’ve been coming here for about 3-4 months. I discovered this spot after not being happy with a breakfast franchise nearby. Other places charge $15+ for breakfast and worse service. The ambient here is extremely cozy. Lots of local seniors stop by for brunch here and it’s amazing since they offer senior discounts and early bird deals. The food is actually really well made for its price. I like the daily specials and the early bird breakfast. It used to be $7.99 before 11am but now it’s $8.99. Which still beats the competitors $15 breakfast that doesn’t include coffee! Glad I found this place and I hope their prices stay low and quality stays high. Cheers.

Amazing hidden gem! After a horrible experience at a local grill my mother, brother and I happened upon R Corner Diner. Hands down amazing food and the service is wonderful. Kumar cooks up the most delicious breakfast. Josie was friendly and knows the clients on a first name basis. The portions are just enough that you leave full and you aren't wasting anything. Prices are better than those big name chains and the food is better too. Diner is clean and Josie takes pride in making sure each and every customer is taken care of. She is funny and hard working. Since a new owner took over the restaurant. The quailty of the food food is not great. I was told there vegetable are not fresh and some of the ingredient has expire but still continue to serve the customer. They cook also drop food on the nasty greasy floor and but still contuine to cook it anyway. The Indian lady is not frendly and hardly speak english. So, its fustrating to speak to. I wouldn't recommend this resturant to anyone.

Most unprofessional place. I ordered from skip and they weren't accepting so I called and told them I was calling cause I ordered on skip and wanted to know if my ordered would be accepted and the employee blanky told me no without a care and hung up on me. I have luckily got reimbursed from skip with extra on top but please people dont waste your time with these ride people.. all the other people must be fake reviews.

I almost don't want to review this place because I absolutely love it! Some places are just hidden and special. This place is that spot. Quite, clean, did I say quite? Oh and the food and service is unbelievable, Josie is the best server/friend you could ever have. Seems like 50 years of cooking experience back there. Breakfast is amazing. Don't go here find your own lol. Joking, I seriously recommend this place.

This is a little nook inside a strip plaza located in a light industrial/commercial area. Not a lot of seating and there is definitely a group of regulars that come here so pull up a chair and make yourself at home. Very friendly down home environment and good diner type of food. Every Tuesday is 1/2 price burgers....well worth it. Down home cooking at a reasonable price and pleasant friendly service.

This is a small diner with a handful of tables. My husband and I went there for breakfast to try a new local place and were pleasantly surprised. The scrambled eggs were amazing and the home fries were excellent as well. Good prices too. I recommend stopping by.

Hidden Gem! Excellent sevice and tasty food. Eggs Florentine was top notch. Perfectly poached eggs. Wifey had the shrimp pasta and she said it was exceptional. Please do visit. Highly recommended.

Just finished our usual Wed night @ R Corner and again never a disappointment. Lawrence and his wife are gracious hosts and we need to spread the word about this diner off the beaten path. Great experience, very curtious and kind waittress/hostess exceeded expectations to say the least! The food was exceptional beautifully prepared and the taste was phenomenal as well as made to my expectations! Try the steak its cheaper than other places and cooked to perfection! Beloved by locals as there was great rapport and familiarity between the servicer and many customers. The breakfast and refill coffee was solid at best, pancakes on the soggy side. The diner offers many specials and breakfast all day for a cheap eat.

Just got here with my 3 year old who is playing with the sugars which clearly bothers the waitress...she was terribly rude and tried to walk away before i was even done ordering i had to tell her i wasnt done. I wasnt sure if she was even listening. Hopefully the food will be better than the service.

While waiting for our cars to be cleaned nearby, we walked over to this little gem. Small place, currently no seating bc of COVID-19, but basically what you would expect from a diner. Good prices and tasty food, and the guy running the place was super nice. Would recommend if you're in the area!

Good prices, clean place and decent food. Went in for breakfast for the first time at this diner. Unfortunately the peameal bacon tasted like it had been frozen for a decade. Truly the worst freezer burn I have ever experienced. Home fries were good though

Everything here is incredible. I love the Monday Wing Special the most. This diner is tucked away just off The Queensway. All the food here is amazing. Delicious well priced menu, great service.
