I recently had the privilege of embarking on a wine tour guided by the one and only Daniella, and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. From start to finish, Daniella's passion, knowledge, and infectious enthusiasm for both wine and the art of guiding made this tour an absolute delight. From the moment we met Daniella, her warm smile and welcoming demeanor set the tone for what was to come. Her genuine interest in each member of our group made us feel like old friends rather than mere tourists. Her ability to effortlessly create a sense of camaraderie amongst us was truly remarkable. Daniella's knowledge of the local wineries, vineyards, and the intricate process of winemaking was nothing short of impressive. She shared insightful anecdotes, historical tidbits, and intriguing facts that not only deepened our appreciation for the wines but also gave us a profound understanding of the region's rich viticultural heritage. What truly set Daniella apart, however, was her innate ability to make learning about wine incredibly fun. Her charismatic storytelling and engaging explanations turned what could have been a complex subject into an enjoyable and accessible experience for everyone. Whether you were a seasoned wine enthusiast or a complete novice, Daniella's approachable style made everyone feel included. But it wasn't just the educational aspect that made the tour exceptional—it was the genuine joy and excitement Daniella exuded at every turn. Her infectious laughter and boundless energy were truly contagious, creating an atmosphere of lightheartedness and joy throughout the tour. It's rare to find someone who is not only knowledgeable but also so incredibly fun to be around. From the tasting sessions that delighted our palates to the breathtaking vineyard views that filled our souls, Daniella made sure every moment was memorable. Her impeccable attention to detail and genuine care for her guests' experience was evident in every aspect of the tour. In conclusion, if you're looking for a wine tour guide who embodies the perfect blend of expertise, enthusiasm, and warmth, Daniella is the one to choose. Her ability to make learning about wine enjoyable, her knack for fostering a sense of community among the group, and her genuine passion for her craft make her an absolute gem in the world of wine tourism. I left the tour not only with a newfound appreciation for wine but also with a newfound friend in Daniella. This tour was undoubtedly one for the books, and I can't wait to join her again for another unforgettable adventure. Cheers to Daniella!

We had a fantastic experience with Rustic Vines on their "Famous Monk, St. Emilion" minivan tour. Our guide, Matt, was nice, had a good sense of humor, and gave us just the right amount of info. without boring us. We meet at their office in Bordeaux, where they provided breakfast pastries as well as a personal water canteen for the day, (so no need to bring your own water). After declaring whether we wanted a salad or sandwich for lunch (I recommend the chicken sandwich), we hopped in the very clean minivan and drove to our first tasting at Chateau Bernateau, which is a family-owned winery. Before getting to enjoy three of their delicious wines, we were treated to a short tour of their facilities and their winemaking process by the winemaker/owner's wife. After our tasting, we drove into the town of St. Emilion, where we visited one of the many wine merchants in town. The shop was very nice and allowed us to taste six different wines of various quality. They, of course, encouraged purchasing and even shipping of the wine if you preferred, but were not pushy. After the wine merchant, we walked up to Rustic Vines' local office for lunch. During the 20-minute or so lunch break, Rustic Vines provided us with a glass of either a rose or white wine to accompany our meal. After lunch, we were given about a 30-minute tour of St. Emilion and then 15 minutes of free time to check out the church and its cloisters. After that, it was off to the Chateau De La Riviere for our final tour and tasting. Now, this was a proper castle which featured a fantastic view of the St. Emilion valley and an impressive cave which holds over 750,000 bottles of wine! After touring the caves, we got to taste three of their yummy wines. Once the tasting was done, Matt took us outside to where he had put together a nice spread of snacks as well as a final bottle of wine from the Chateau for our group of 7 to share. When we finished our snacks and wine, we piled back into the van and headed back to Bordeaux. WOW...WHAT A 5-STAR DAY! I hope readers will find my review and photos helpful. #TabesTravels

I highly recommend Rustic Vines for a wine tour in Bordeaux or a trip to Arcachon Bay! Their guides are highly knowledgeable, flexible and attentive, and also the type of people you want to spend a day with! My friend and I loved both private day tours we booked with Rustic Vines: one to St. Emilion and another to Arcachon. As someone who travels a lot and has done many tours, I can say that Rustic Vines offered some of the best tour guides and experiences I’ve ever had! Our guide in St. Emilion and Pomerol, Andrew, was a Bordeaux local and had a lot of information about the region and wine production there. He took us to three amazing chateaux, and each was very different and therefore a totally unique experience. My friend and I are quite knowledgeable about wine, so he worked with the chateaux to customize the tour and tasting to our interests. We ended our day at a wine shop in St. Emilion to try more local wines. The owner was also a wine producer, and his wine was one of our favorite ones! Another highlight was the delicious picnic lunch Andrew prepared for us at one of the chateaux. The next day we went to Arcachon Bay with Thomas. Thomas is also local and was very familiar with the history of Arcachon and how to get around. He first took us to an oyster farming area to try fresh oysters. We then visited the Arcachon town and beach before heading to lunch. We ended the day climbing the Dune du Pilat and enjoying a bottle of champagne and the incredible view. We are so happy that we took a day during our visit to Bordeaux to visit Arcachon Bay!

Bike Electric Saint-Emilion tour is a must! Loved the tour, and the e-bikes were a bonus as they made the ride all the more comfortable & easier (especially on a hot day). Would highly suggest this tour for any age.... even the non-tour type people (myself included). If this is your first trip to Bordeaux & want to experience the vineyards/chateaus but don't know HOW to... book a tour with Rustic Vines! They're awesome people & take care of absolutely everything! Details about the tour itself: Caroline (Caro) was a fantastic tour guide, spoke perfect English & biked at a great pace. The rolling hills were very easy to bike & the route broke up the ride nicely. We met at the Rustic Vines office in Bordeaux, they drove us 45-minutes to Saint-Emilion & we met up with our tour guide & the other 2 people joining the tour. We were quickly fitted for each e-bike then started the tour. It was ~20 minute bike ride between each stop. Biked to first chateau (Chateau Moncets), toured the vines & cellar, then enjoyed 4-5 tastings; had a picnic lunch of fresh breads, meats & cheeses @ the first chateau; rode to the second chateau (Clos La Madeleine), toured the vines & limestone caves there, and had another 3 tastings; rode to Saint-Emilion, visited a wine shop & had another 6-7 tastings there (with the opportunity to buy from a variety of vineyards); then toured the town on foot. The tour & bike rides were spaced out perfectly! Enjoy!!!

I recently had the pleasure of going on a wine tour in Bordeaux, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From start to finish, the tour was expertly organized, and I can't say enough good things about our guide, Daniella. Daniella's warmth and friendliness immediately put everyone at ease. Her passion for wine and extensive knowledge of the Bordeaux region were truly impressive. She took the time to explain the intricacies of each vineyard we visited, making the tour not just enjoyable but educational as well. The vineyards themselves were breathtaking, with stunning landscapes and, of course, exquisite wines. Daniella's ability to provide insightful commentary and engage with the vintners added an extra layer of depth to our wine-tasting adventure. What truly stood out was Daniella's attention to detail and her genuine care for each member of our group. She made sure everyone's preferences were accommodated, creating a personalized experience that exceeded our expectations. In short, this Bordeaux wine tour with Daniella as our guide was an unforgettable journey into the world of wine. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful, educational, and friendly wine-tasting experience. Kudos to Daniella and the entire team for making this tour a highlight of my visit to Bordeaux!

My partner and I had such a fantastic day with Rustic Vines. As soon as we arrived in the office in the centre of Bordeaux we were met with friendly staff & offered complimentary coffee, and the day got better as it went on. Our tour guide (Tomas) was incredibly knowledgeable, but we never felt overwhelmed with information, and the owner (Tim) was really friendly too. The actual tour was excellent -- the perfect ratio of cycling (the e-bikes were FAB!), wine tasting (all completely unpretentious), and local information. We particularly liked that they took us through the town of St Emilion at the end, too, so that we could see the church etc as well. The wines were all delicious (although some were more to our tastes than others!) & the picnic lunch was perfect. We had a lovely group of just 6 of us (British and Kiwi) which meant that the day felt intimate and friendly. It was great that they took photos and videos throughout the day as well which meant that we were free to just enjoy the experience. And to top it off, Tomas dropped us off close to our hotel on the way home which saved us an uber! Cannot recommend highly enough. 5***

There is no surprise that this is the highest rated tour in the Bordeaux region! Our guide Vincent was absolutely fabulous, extremely knowledgeable, not just about the wine and vineyards, but the region as a whole, really making you feel like you're learning as you go along! The experience was genuinely brilliant, ride there was pleasant and we were fortunate that the group we were with were all amazing people!! The use of the e-bikes were a must with the rolling hills and the ride was extremely delightful with enough stops on the way and water provided in the bags attached to the bikes! (Also great for storing any wine you buy) You end up stopping at 2 vineyards (random based on the day you go) where they tell you all about the making process, show you the vines, cellars and how it's all bottled! You then move onto the best part..... The tasting! Each guide was incredibly helpful and generous with the pours, we tried a total of around 10 wines and they even gave us a bottle for the group with lunch! If you're questioning whether this is worth doing, don't! IT TOTALLY IS

We were after the quintessential french vineyard experience and this tour looked perfect for what we were after. The day was amazing and exceeded our expectations. As we were staying in Saint Emilion we were able to join the group at their Saint Emilion site. We were well looked after by Jorens who gave an excellent brief of the region. Ben our tour guide who had collected the other participants in Bordeaux arrived and then the day began. We were expertly guided by Ben around the region and treated to a first class lunch, two chateaus and three wine tastings, two at the chateaus and one in Saint Emilion. Lots of riding on e-bikes and lots of information about this region and wine making. Excellent wine tasted, excellent food provided. Plenty of opportunities for photos, and also purchasing wine, all places shipped international. An excellent day with expert guidance. Do this if you can.

Fantastic wine tour in October. Went on a half-day tour from St Emillion on the 16th of October 2018. The bikes used were great, the assistance provided by the electric power making for a very easy ride. We headed out of St Emillion to a Chateau in Lalande-de-Pomerol where we were treated to a fantastic vineyard tour by one of the managers of the vineyard. We were then educated in wine production, the classification system in France and new and old techniques for maturing and storing wine. Afterwards we had a picnic on the Chateau's grounds along with a further selection of wine to taste. Then we headed, slightly tipsy, back to St Emillion for another wine tasting, All in all we had a really great day and this was substantially helped by how fantastic the guide (and founder of this company) Tim Crowley was. We highly recommend doing one of their tours!

I prefer to explore cities on my own and impatient with tours, but traveling solo sometimes takes a toll on ya'. At a certain point I just wanted someone to show me around and tell me stories, and just follow. I've been on several tours before and not even half way through them I would regret it. However, I would highly suggest starting your visit to Bordeaux with Rustic Vines - it's a good one. You'll get to know the city quickly. Biking is a fun and the best way to explore the area. I would also recommend a day trip to a vineyard. The tour guides are super knowledge and friendly! I really enjoyed getting to know people I met on the tour and the people who run Rustic Vines. A bit of wine and cheese is included on your tour, too! Don't forget to write on their shop's wall about your experience and mark you were there :)

This tour was the highlight of our two week vacation in France. Our guide Thomas was amazing and so passionate about what he does. On our drive over from Bordeaux to Saint Émilion, he shared with us a bunch of information about the region and types of wines that we’d be tasting. Biking is really the best way to explore the region as you get to be fully immersed in the scenery and it’s so much fun. The region is hilly so ebikes made biking effortless. We got to taste lots of really great wines, mostly Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as enjoyed a lovely picnic with more wine at a cute spot. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone whether or not you’re a wine expert, as long as you can ride a bike. You’ll definitely become an expert on Bordeaux and Sainf-Émilion wine after this tour!

The Famous Monk tour was a perfect day trip from Bordeaux to St Emilion. I was nervous at first that January was the "off season" and that it would be too cold. But, it was a perfect day and our hosts even said it is better to visit during the off season without all the tourists. Our guide was a Bordeaux native and was very knowledgeable about the area and wine. He also made sure that we were enjoying our day. I definitely recommend the option to add on a sandwich. They are made at a shop in St Emilion and are top notch and quite large for only 5 Euro! With over 9,000 wine chateaus in Bordeaux, it is definitely worth your time and money to go on a guided tour of the region. With only 8 people in our group and a private guide, I would HIGHLY recommend this tour- even in the winter months!

  • Ira Szmuk

I did a full day trip in Saint Emilion and it was an amazing experience. Our lovely guide Thomas took us from the center of Bordeaux to Saint Emilion where we got our electric bikes. On the way he told us so much information about wine in Bordeaux in general and Saint Emilion in particular. He was so passionate about it that it's just fun to listen to him. Saint Emilion is located on a very hilly territory so taking an ebike tour is kind of a must and it's just so fun to cycle in the vineyards!! During the day we visited two lovely wineries and had a picnic with wine in one of the them. We ended out trip with a short tour of Saint Emilion which is one of the most beautiful villages around Bordeaux. I truly recommend their tours to anyone looking to discover the wine world of Bordeaux.

  • Nadine Barker

Had an awesome day with you Thomas, thank you! Your English guided tour was interesting & really informative! Terrific to see youngsters guiding the tours - so knowledgeable about the topics: to keep the tradition going. La relève est assurée! Need to make allowance for those other tour guides whose English is not as practiced. Lunch was sensational at Lard et Bouchons! The medieval town visit was just fantastic. Wine sales personnel not pushy. Best buys from Coutet winery. Note: During the periods of protests (Saturdays), be mindful of transportation back to yr accommodation. No trams, uber or taxis available from the town centre so had to lug our wine purchases on foot back to the apartment!! Thank God didn’t buy a whole case!!

  • Nusik Gedikoglu

We had a fantastic time on our full day tour. Bicycleing through beautiful wine yards was really fun! We were on electric bikes which made it very easy and fun to bicycle as there were some ups and downs on the road. The roads are safe for bicyclists but it had been a long time since I bicycled.. I quickly felt confident and safe on the bikes as the guide was watching for us. Tim - who is also the owner of the business - was our guide. He is very kind and friendly. We visited some wine yards, taste some good Vines, had a nice picnic, and learned about the area and wine yards located there. All in all the trip is absolutely recommended. This was a rare experience for me that I will remember for a long time. Thank you Tim and Thomas!

  • TJ

We had the best time on this tour! Taylor was the perfect guide and we learnt a lot about Bordeaux. Could not be happier with the experience - this is one of the highlights of our long Europe trip. Got to visit 2 chateaus in Saint Emilion on the tour we did, and also explored the beautiful village of Saint Emilion (and did another tasting in a shop there). Taylor went above and beyond to make the experience great and took us to several spots in the town that we were interested in. Even the little things were taken care of, including the van being parked waiting for us after a climb to the top of the hill in the town. Thanks again!

  • Ama Hughes

On behalf of Emma, Nes, Raquel & Ama… Full bodied, elegant and bold on the palette….and that’s not just the wine. Tim was the big daddy of tour guides, with his exceptional knowledge, generous hand (on pouring) and banter. Would highly recommend if you are looking for the best wine tasting experience. Electric bikes made the day a relaxing adventure, made even better by the delicious picnic on the grounds of a beautiful chateau. Despite the poor rugby performance of NZ, Tim kept spirts high and wine glasses even higher - what more can you want from a vineyard tour! Thanks so much, a must do for a trip to the region.

  • Hayley Conn

Wow! 12/10! Such an amazing day exploring Saint Emilion with our guide Tim. He picked us up from Bordeaux and was so friendly and knowledgeable of the area and all things wine! We did the full day tour which included riding E-Bikes around the region. The bikes made the tour so effortless and enjoyable and made for a perfect way to explore many vineyards and vines up close. We enjoyed wine tastings and information from the Chateaus we visited, along with a beautiful picnic lunch provided by Tim. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys wine, socialising and exploring beautiful areas. So good!!

  • Phillipa Gibbs

We did the e-bike tour today with Tomas. It was fantastic! The weather was perfect for a start, our guide Tomas was a delight. This tour had everything, a bike ride, 2 winery visits, a gourmet lunch of cheese, meats, bread and plenty of wine! We dropped our bikes then walked to another boutique wine seller for more tastings. Tomas then took us through the village to the church. It was the best tour! It’s definitely for all ages, we were 47, 55 and 71, we also had a 76 year old in the tour group. Special mention to Tomas, we looked after his crew of guests like we were friends.

  • Nikki Pridham

I cannot recommend this tour enough! We just did a full day tour of Médoc with Tim. It was very informative and full of many bottles of amazing red wine. Let not also forget the yummy lunch platters that Tim prepared while we were on our first vineyard tour. Tim is very professional but also down to earth, nothing was too much trouble and he made us all feel very welcome and at ease. The best wine tour leader you could ask for! Thank you for a great day in the sun while experiencing the best Médoc could offer. We cannot wait to come back and explore Bordeaux further with you!

  • Lucy Kirkwood

We had the most AMAZING day exploring the countryside of Saint Emilion with the very friendly and knowledgeable kiwi guide, Taylor, visiting a couple of vineyards at a relaxed pace (and tasting delicious wine). Highly recommend the e-bike tour. We also had the pleasure of meeting another fellow kiwi, Tim, the owner of Rustic Vines who ended our day with another wine tasting and some great chat (be sure to let him know if you are a rugby fan). We will be recommending this to anyone we know coming to Bordeaux. ‍♀️ would love to do this again.

  • desirae greenberg

My husband And I took part in a full day Saint Emillion Electric bike wine tour. Bottom line it was awesome and worth every penny!!! Thomas our guide was charismatic, extremely knowledgeable and made sure all the details were in place for a great day. The chateaus selected displayed a great range of styles, selection and views. My husband and I travel a lot, have done a lot of wine tours and used to work in a bike shop. All around Rustic Vine Tours was an unforgettable experience and does phenomenal job in every facet of their tour experience.

  • cata Cancino

Amazing tour, highly recommended! All details were very well planned. We started at 10:30 with a wine tasting in a chateau, then had a delicious lunch with a great view. During the afternoon we did two more tastings, one in a small shop in saint emilion and one in a chateau. Finally we did a walk tour in saint emilion. We totally loved the experience it was very nice and informative. Great wine and food. The staff was also super friendly, Thomas was our guide, very good in providing all the details and explanations!

  • Karl Hinderks

Had an absolutely wonderful day with Thomas from Rustic Vines. He designed a custom tour for us with a couple of amazing choices (Château Montlabert was spectacular!) as well as a little walking tour of St.Emilion and a custom tasting at their office. On top of this, he picked us up and dropped us off from a small town in the middle of nowhere that required over an hour and a half drive each way! So even if you're not right in the town of Bordeaux or the nearby area, they can still take care of you!

  • Julie Mathis

A group of 4 of us took the Famous Monk tour in April 2019, to the St Emilion region of Bordeaux. The tour was an all day tour, and we had a wonderful time. Tour guides were very knowledgeable and patient enough to answer all our questions. We had a picnic lunch above the town of St. Emillion(sandwich or salad), which was a beautiful town. In addition, our guides took pictures through out the tour, and then forwarded them to us afterward! What a plus! We highly recommend the tour, well worth it!

  • Corinne Early

Thomas was absolutely lovely to interact with. He helped arrange a private wine tour in Bordeaux for my husband and I. There was always quick communication via email, and he went out of his way to accommodate our needs. He even went above and beyond to allow a late cancellation when my husband contracted the stomach flu the day of our tour. We hope to visit Bordeaux again and will most definitely book a tour with Rustic Vines. We could not be more thankful for his kindness and generosity.

  • Kerri Kelly

We did the famous monk tour. Brilliant day we went to 2 vineyards and had 3 wine tastings, one during the tour of Saint-Emilion. Julie our tour guide was very engaging and informative. She made the day enjoyable and we had a comfortable mini van to take us around. No pressure to purchase wine but we found 2 bottles that we liked so no problem to buy these. The vineyards and wine shop in Saint-Emilion also offered worldwide shipping. Would highly recommend this tour and company.

  • Steven

Went on the full day tour for the St Emilion and Medoc regions. Taylor Bergman was our tour guide and he absolutely unequivocally beyond comprehension slayed! Rustic Vines is an amazing tour that was very insightful and fun! Got to learn so much about Bordeaux’s finest wines as well as drinking Bordeaux’s finest wines. Fantastic tour, amazing views, beautiful chateaux’s, and last but not least fun times!!! Highly recommend Rustic Vines as a must DO if you’re in Bordeaux.

  • Isabelle Caya

This might be my new favourite wine tour. Daniella was an amazing guide and brought us to some of the best wineries I’ve ever been too. It was such a well paced tour and we went to places I wouldn’t have gone too alone. The lunch we had was also amazing and had some great cheese and amazing pesto ;). I looked around at tours for a while and I am so glad I picked this one. We did the full day van tour. So so fun. Tony was training and was also amazing. Thank you guys!!

  • Jason Kurtis

If you like drinking and learning about wine, leisurely biking and having fun, then Rustic Vines should be on your list of things to do when visiting Bordeaux. Our guide Alan was absolutely fantastic and knew more about wine and the wine industry than anyone I had every met before. There wasn't a single question he couldn't answer and he made the day extremely fun. The wine was plentiful and delicious and the picnic lunch was a perfect compliment to the day.

  • George Hutchins

An incredible time with the Rustic Vines team, especially Tim (owner) - real top bloke. My gf and I enjoyed a one day wine tasting and e-bike tour Couldn’t recommend it enough. Was superb and we’ll definitely come back. Great range of chateaus with chateau owners / hosts down to earth and genuine. Wines not bad either Tim has great knowledge and useful insight of the area - thanks so much. P.s will keep working on the golf swing. Thanks a lot!

  • Rory McClenaghan

We like drinking wine but don't know that much about it and this tour was great for us. Yoann our guide was very knowledgeable but didn't expect us to be experts. We had great fun in a group of 8, the electric bikes make the ride really easy and the countryside was almost as enjoyable as the wine. Speaking of wine we got three generous tastings and wine with lunch which was enough to send everyone to sleep on the minibus back to Bordeaux.

  • Susan Abraham

The half-day bike tour of Bordeaux was our trip’s highlight. Bicycle is the best way to see Bordeaux sites, as you can reach further destinations and the city is bike-friendly. Our guide was not only very knowledgeable and engaging, but also flexible enough to tailor our activities to our interests on the spot. The foods and drinks provided were Bordeaux specialties. All-in-all, this was a thoroughly enjoyable tour, and a great value.

  • Julius de Win

Dear Rustic Vines Tours, We enjoyed your e-bike wine tour in Saint-Emilion a lot. From tasting amazing wines to getting to know the culture of the region. Also important to mention was the delicious picknick and the bikes themselves. They make the tour the perfect experience. Special thanks to Thomas, who was our guide for the day! We recommend the tour a lot! Thanks for the amazing experience, Family De Win

  • Daniel Kucharczuk

Sarah is the best tour guide ever! We absolutely loved our full-day ebike trip through St. Emilion and it was the highlight of our vacation. We highly highly recommend anyone visiting Bordeaux to take this trip through Rustic Vines. The location and pick-up in the city was also well planned and low stress. If you like wine, beautiful countryside, great food, and awesome tour guides then this is for you.

  • Erik Porter

Great day visiting Saint Emillion and the surrounding area. Ebikes are great and make the trip a breeze for all abilities. Love that we visited smaller chateaus which felt more intimate. Lovely lunch accompanied by a nice wine followed by very refreshing wines at the end of the tour. Although our guide was good i would have liked a French guide to make the trip just that little bit more memorable.

  • Christopher Norton

The second time using Rustic Vines on our visit to Bordeaux and this time was just as good as the first! We explored Saint-Émilion on e-bikes… couldn’t fault it! The châteaus we visited were perfect and biking through the vineyards was fantastic. A special shout out to our guide Jerome, (hope that’s spelt correctly) he was just brilliant! Picnic amazing, wine amazing! Worth a visit

  • Fiona Rooney

This was a great wine tour. We opted for the full day electric bike tour and it was so much fun and a great way to see the beautiful French countryside and Saint Emilion. Our guide was lovely and knew so much about the area and different wines. Would recommend to anyone who wants a day out of the city to take in the picturesque scenery (and the electric bikes take out all the effort!)

  • Rebecca

We did the Full Day Electric Bike Wine Tour and Tasting. Our guide was Julie and she was great! The bikes were top quality, very impressed! We visited 2 wineries in Saint Emilion and had a picnic lunch full of wine, charcuterie and cheeses. We also had a small tour of the town. The day was structured, very organized and was a good balance of biking and wine tasting. Highly recommend!

  • Laura Baker

Great day out. The tour guide was fantastic and the scenery is unparalleled throughout Saint-Émilion. Only visited 2 vineyards within the village itself (and one back in the town centre), with significant portions of biking. The biking / sight seeing takes up the greater portion of the day vs actual wine tasting but a great way to explore and see what the region has to offer.

  • Kayla Imrie

My partner and I were lucky enough to get onto a full day tour in 1 days notice and it DEFINITELY didn't disappoint. We had a blast on the e-bikes sifting amongst the vines of the right bank in Bordeaux. Absolutely stunning views then topped off by delicious wine tastings and tours. The guides were impressively full of knowledge regarding wine and the area. It's a must do!

  • Josh Walker

Excellent afternoon out and if you're travelling through Bordeaux this definitely must be on your list! With great views and country lanes to be explored, having an amazing and knowledgeable tour guide (Sarah) who explained everything along the way. Half way through you get to sit down enjoy the wine, views and the food. Perfect day out would recommend this to anyone!

  • Anita Olan

We spent two brilliant days with Rustic Vines, and I can't recommend their tours highly enough. Our guides, James in Médoc and Julie in Saint-Émilion, were absolutely wonderful, and the chateaux we visited were beautiful, interesting, and delicious. When I'm back in Bordeaux, I look forward to enjoying more Rustic Vines outings. Cheers and thanks to the team!

  • Sophie Taylor

We did two tours with Rustic Vines, a day tour in the Medoc region and the ebike tour of Saint Emillion. Both were so brilliant, we learnt loads and had such a good time. The picnic lunch was such a nice touch as well. Tim and Thomas were great guides! There was a good balance between learning about the wines and drinking and enjoying the wine

The tour that kept giving and giving! We had such a good time with a really great group under the care of kind Kiwi Taylor! Bikes were easy, countryside everything we dreamed, the chateaus welcoming. Can't recommend this enough! We heard Ben is a really good guide too, but Taylor was absolutely brilliant. Thank you thank you thank you.

The tour was wonderful and easy from start to finish. Thanks Daniella for making it fun every step of the way! We tried some wonderful wines and had interesting tours of the vineyards. The wine tasting and discussion of wine culture in the region in the office with Nicola at the end of the trip was the highlight of our tour …

The half-day wine tour with our guide Jérôme was one of the highlights of our family trip. We visited two châteaux and learned a lot about wine making. I have family members who only understand English or French. Our guide was able to switch languages easily and make sure everyone had all the information. Thank you again, Jerôme!

Such a great day! We got to cycle around the spectacular countryside of St Emillion, taste some incredible wines and learn so much about what makes this region so famous! I cannot recommend this tour highly enough! Fun, friendly and fantastic- all thanks to a great team, our amazing tour guide Thomas and a lovely atmosphere!

Taylor was a great host! We did 3 wineries in the Medoc and each was a completely different experience. We loved them all and bought wine from all 3. Would highly recommend this company to anyone! I did the private tour with my parents so just the three of us. We even left wine in the van and Taylor dropped it to our hotel!

The E-Bike tour with Nicholas was amazing. Beautiful scenery and great wine tasting - E-Bikes were easy to operate and a pleasure to ride. Nicholas went above and beyond to explain the area and Saint Emilion to us in fascinating detail. We are not organized tour people, but I would rate this 10 stars if possible.
