I am employed in the public service sector and frequently organize social gatherings with my colleagues after work. As someone who values quality service tailored to working professionals, I am always on the lookout for local establishments that meet these criteria. The Rabbit Hole came recommended for post-work gatherings, so I was eager to give it a try. Unfortunately, I had not made a reservation due to my busy schedule, and it slipped my mind. Upon arrival, I was informed that there was a wait list, but the staff refused to disclose any information regarding the estimated wait time. When I inquired about the number of people on the list, the host discreetly concealed the wait list by pulling their notebook closer to their body and informed me they could not say. Shortly after this conversation, my colleagues arrived, and we collectively decided to wait for a table. Seeking refuge from the cold, we entered the restaurant, only to be informed that waiting inside was not permitted indicating we were a fire hazard for standing near the doorway (this is a lie, if there was a fire we would certainly move). In light of this restriction, one of my colleagues innocently asked the host about the expected wait time. To my surprise, the host responded with a dismissive tone, stating, "As I already mentioned, I cannot provide you with that information." I was taken aback by the lack of professionalism in response to a simple query, especially considering that my colleague was not present during our initial interaction. Due to the lack of professionalism and disregard for customer service, we made the decision to seek an alternative establishment. Approximately 1 hour after adding our names to the wait list, I received a call notifying me that a table had become available and we were expected to return within 10 minutes or we would lose our table. However, the call came across quite demanding as they failed to inquire whether I was still interested in the table, which I was not. Ultimately, the host's snarky attitude and the overall lack of attention to customer service left me feeling embarrassed for having brought my colleagues to this establishment. I have no intention of returning. I strongly recommend that the restaurant invest in training their hosts to ensure a higher level of professionalism.

I have always heard about this place from friends as a cozy spot to hangout, and I've also noticed the lines each time I've walked down Sparks street in the evenings. So I was excited to finally come here to catch up with a friend from out of town, and experience the cozy lower level dining area. Upon entering you'll notice the high ceilings and twinkling lights on the first floor, which is more brightly lit than the lower floor. However, the lower level is definitely cozier as it's dimmer, and you can choose to sit at the bar (what we did), or at the dining tables. Here are the dishes that were ordered: Red 3 ($20) Pizza with San Marzano Tomato Sauce: With pepperoni, smoked sausage, sundried tomatoes, pepperoncini peppers. This pizza was well made! The crust was nice and puffy and light, and the pizza tasted good overall. Small plates: Smoke Salmon Tartare ($23): quick pickled cucumber, lemon tarragon crème fraiche, everything bagel spice, salmon roe, and crisps. I have never had salmon tartare with smoked salmon, so had to try this! It tasted better than what I was anticipating - the richness of the smoked salmon went really well with the pickled veggies, and I always love having crisps with tartare as I find it lighter than bread. This was definitely the prettiest dish! Probably my favourite out of all 3. Large plates: Shrimp & Waffles ($22): pickled beans, chili lime glaze, jalapeno: the shrimp were the tastiest part of this dish with the chili lime glaze, but I felt the waffles were a tad dry. Some more sauce would have gone well with the dish! The atmosphere is perfect for catching up with friends, or even for a date! The amount of background noise was perfect - not too loud, but enough to keep your conversation private. It was fun to sit at the bar and watch drinks being made too! I would suggest checking up on your order if it takes more time than anticipated - we did, and were told the system lost the order by accident.
Going to the Rabbit Hole last night was such a disappointment. We’re visiting Ottawa and this was one of the first places we added to our “must-visit” list based on the great reviews. We were seated at a very wobbly table and told our server would be with us shortly. No one came to our table or acknowledged us despite it not being busy, and after 25 minutes I had to go to the bar and ask the bartender if we had to order from him. He told us he’d make sure someone came to our table immediately. A server came over—a middle-aged bald gentleman—and he didn’t acknowledge or apologize for the long wait. He took our drink orders and we didn’t see him again for another 15 minutes. He finally came over with our drinks and apologized it took so long, saying it was because I ordered a drink off-menu that they don’t normally make. This was a bald-faced lie as we were sitting next to the bar and saw the drinks being prepared and waiting to be delivered for about 10 minutes prior. We were later approached by another server who said she’d be taking over our table. There was no hand-off or explanation from the male server I’ve come to expect when dining out; he just disappeared and left someone else to do his “dirty work”. He was truly one of the worst servers I’ve ever had. The cocktails were okay and the decor unique, but unfortunately they can’t redeem this place from its inexplicably long waits and rude, disinterested servers. Go to The Apothecary instead—we visited afterward and the difference was night and day.
With such a great space to work with, Rabbit Hole certainly did it justice with an awesome atmosphere and vibe. And because of that, I expected a bit more from the food and drink. It's such a shame to set you up for this awesome dining experience, and then to juuuuust miss with the food & drink and service. You can tell the menu was given thought, but the follow-through wasn't 100% For a space that's meant to enjoy crafted cocktails, the cocktail lost was short. Which is fine if the cocktails are phenomenal. They were good, but not short list good. I will say, they did some cool things with aromatics with things like firing up a cinnamon stick, and their bar is stocked well with variety. I was impressed with what they offered and when it came to standard cocktails (as in not 'Rabbit Hole' cocktails), they did deliver. Food, again, was good, but not as good as expected. I'd give an average of 7/10 for taste and quality. The oysters were fresh and good and definitely a highlight. The prime rib burger was the winning main. Pizza is okay. Service as a whole was also just okay. There were certain staff that were amazing, but our server was slow. We were sitting at our table for a bit before we had to flag down staff to ask about service because no one greater us or came to take our drink order. The bar staff had to serve us until our server finally showed up. All in all, I would go back, but only because the space is super cool with lots of awesome hidden corners and coves for intimate dining.
Me and my lady were visiting from out of town and randomly came across Rabbit Hole...let me paint you a picture. First you'll be greeted by a couple enthusiastic hostesses who are eager to get you inside. If you start off on the main floor it is practically impossible not to begin your night off well simply from the ambience and glow of the room. The skillful bartenders will put a quick smile on your face and help you forget about your crazy walk over to this spot. This is where the Rabbit Hole begins...decide whether you want to go upstairs or downstairs, so we flipped a coin and ended up on the the rooftop Tiki bar. If you are STILL not sold on this place, it'll practically be impossible to be a negative nancy because you will be served by angels who deceded down to serve you flaming tiki drinks. From here, we were guided us to another bar within the building where we met Conor. Let me tell you, he is the long lost childhood best friend you've always been looking for... who takes one look at you and makes you a cocktail perfectly tailored for your taste buds. We completed the night on the dance floor which was when we realized we had our best night out ever and that the whole experience was encapsulated within one building. Great staff and incredible drinks. Miss you all already! V & Mercedes
I recently visited the Rabbit Hole for the first time and had a mixed experience. While the drinks were delicious, they lacked the strength I was hoping for. I tried the Midsummer Night Cocktail, the Forbidden Mai Tai, Tequila on the Rise, and the BlackBerry Mamba, and all of them had a pleasant taste but were not very potent. I would give the drinks a solid 3 out of 5. For food, I ordered the Truffle Chips with Dill Dip and the "Red" Cheese & Basil Pizza. Unfortunately, when the pizza was first brought out to me, it was burnt. The server informed me that this was how customers usually ordered it, but I didn't enjoy it and sent it back. The restaurant promptly brought me a new one, and it was absolutely delicious. The Truffle Chips with Dill Dip were tasty as well. Overall, while I had some issues with the drinks and the initial pizza, the Rabbit Hole redeemed itself with the excellent replacement pizza. The service was prompt, and the ambiance was lovely. I would recommend giving the restaurant a try and hope that the drinks can be made a little stronger in the future. I would rate the pizza a solid 5 out of 5, while the drinks would receive a 3 out of 5.
Amazing food in a whimsical atmosphere. The oysters were had were super fresh and delicious. My friend had the daily pasta which was filled with flavor and different textures which made it a pleasure to enjoy. I had the White Four pizza which was absolutely delicious and had a honey crust that complemented the pear and prosciutto perfectly. The menu isn't huge but everything on it sounded amazing. Even just the list of add-ons for pizzas (which included different modifications to the crust) sounded great and were a nice twist to normal pizza topping add-ons. The prices are on the slightly higher end for some things but are overall average for the quality of dining experience mixed with the stunning interior. We stayed upstairs (after checking out downstairs which was way bigger than I expected) because it's a little quieter and has more of a dining vibe to it (downstairs seemed like a great place to have a drink). The ceiling is stunning to look at with fairy lights and tree trunks coming out of the vaulted ceiling. The bar is fun and whimsical and the attention to detail is immaculate. Very cool place and I'll definitely be back!
Do yourself a favour and head down [to] the Rabbit Hole as soon as humanly possible. It's a feast for the eyes and the taste buds, and a helluva fun ride for thirsty cocktail-lovers. Check out the details in the furniture and decorations; sip on masterful craft cocktails by swift and friendly bartenders; and don't miss out on their outrageously yummy pizzas served by ultra-cool waitstaff. When you first enter this classy joint, take a moment to be wowed by the fairy-lights ceiling - but don't stare for too long. You'll want to head further down the rabbit hole by descending the subtle staircase to a whole new landing space. And, if you're lucky (or if you're in the know OR one of the fortunate few to get selected) you may just become privy to Ottawa's best kept secret: their hidden basement speakeasy, Jackalope. A night out in Ottawa honestly isn't complete without a Rabbit Hole experience. So, get your Alice in Wonderland on, and head to this magical spot on Sparks Street for a wild ride.
The location/decor/vibes are great! Food was excellent, however the service is to be desired, long story but the hostess was rude, waited for a phone call back to see if they could accommodate us or not, our group was cut in half so we made a online reso, sat by the door which was cold, they separated our table of 8 into two tables, a drink took 45 minutes, 2.5 hours to get our bill all while having one drink… it’s a shame. The food was good, however after a hour of waiting we received food and appetizers at the same time (oysters and charcuterie). When the hostess who was standing beside our table on and off the entire night asked us if we needed anything (empty glasses/plates by all) I responded that we actually were waiting for our bills for the last half hour, she snapped back right away that they clearly are busy, this was now 8:00pm and the restaurant only had a complete tables of two upstairs, the rest empty.
Rabbit Hole A very busy and unqiue cocktail bar experience to be sure, beautifully decorated and very friendly staff, everything from Decor and Bar side to the downstairs is incredible but.. We had a weird experience, we order 4 different drinks off the cocktail menus and something seemed off with each one... the violet envy (photo attached) is a gin based with simple syrup and a liquor of some kind... yet, it tasted like cough medicine.. plus it came in a dumb looking chalice lol ok scrap that I returned it and got the smooth criminal which is suppose to be very close to a old fashion... but it was super sweet, like 3 table spoons of sugar to sweet, fing could drink that either, tried my friends "getting figgy with it" drink and it to... was just kinda maybe ok. Super bizarre to have 4 drinks all being borderline unconsumable. Must have been a weird night. Will try again one day.
We had an excellent double birthday here the other night, and while the food and drinks were excellent, it was really the service that took it over the top! The wait staff was attentive and funny, and the management team came over multiple times to check in on us. Additionally, they really made sure to make our birthday boys special, which was incredibly appreciated. Would definitely recommend this spot for special events. The ambience is dark and moody, especially in the basement with the exposed stone walls and the plush velvet seating. It's surprisingly spacious! And the food was delightful, with the pizza crust having a great chew that you know only comes from a long proof. Overall, would definitely recommend and would love to try more of their sharing plates and creative cocktails next time!

Hidden gem on Sparks Street Yesterday my wife and I went on our first date since the birth of our twin girls. Our anniversary was 2 days after their birth. Being able to go out just her and I for the first time in 10 weeks was awesome on its own. But the RabbitHole brought our experience to a new level. The drinks were awesome, the food was astonishing, the staff were amazing, the resto's design was breath-taking and the vib was sensational. After dinner and drinks we walked the street and RH was definitely the best vib in town. Made for an amazing night and a date with my wife to remember till the end of time. We will most definitely be come back with our family and friends. Thank you for the chef, hostess, waitress and bartender for this successful evening.

I usually have a good time at rabbit hole for drinks, so imagine my surprise when my group of 4 received mediocre service on a Saturday night! Although promptly seated in their patio by Bank Street (so not their main patio due to some weird design where the patio space is shared with several other restaurants), the 3 rotating servers (2 female, 1 male) never paid our group much attention. In fact, they sent our first round of drinks to the wrong table (who had a similar order but ordered way after us). Although they apologized, the drinks took a very long time and the servers did not come to us to inquire about a second round of drinks despite our empty glasses. We also wanted food, but it was hard to flag down our servers. Overall, the drinks and food were good, but the service was so off putting.
Very interesting experience overall. We went to the rabbit hole and went down to the basement. It was a dark, stone building bar with lots of seating. We asked to go to the speakeasy “The secret bar” two doors down from the main building - you have to ask because it is locked and only staff can open the door. They bring you to this very ominous saloon speakeasy. The drink list is quite extensive. We went for the bartenders choice where the mixologist asks you a series of questions and crafts the drink to your liking. It was pricey but very good! The vibe is super cool and one of a kind. Would go back.

Came here on a Friday night. There are 2 levels plus outdoor patio. We sat downstairs and the atmosphere is amazing. Love the dim lighting and decor for ambience. The cocktails all sound interesting and different. I had the Pink Panther, and it was ok. It was really strong but I am a lightweight. I had the Red 3 pizza and added chilli oil and it was pretty good. You can ask for chilli flakes on the side for an extra kick! The dough was crispy, thin, chewy, overall good texture. There was sufficient toppings on the pizza. Pretty good but not wow. My friends got other cocktail and pizza and seemed satisfied with it. The brownie dessert was excellent! The brownie was quite rich. The server was very nice!!! Service time was reasonable. Proof of vaccination required. I would go again!
Extremely busy on a Tuesday night. We sat at the main bar downstairs. The stools were a little high but very well cushioned, so they were comfortable. We understandably had to wait a while for our food as it was so busy, but it was worth the wait. The crispy calamari appetizer was very crispy and not at all greasy, with a delicious sauce on the side and a fresh salad that was lemony and tasty. Then we shared a white pizza. Great sauce and toppings, and the crust was delicious. We didn't try any cocktails but had fun watching the bartenders make them, admiring the finished results and the array of bottles behind the bar. Although it was very busy and noisy, we were able to have a quiet conversation. Delicious food and great service. You might want to reserve (we didn't).
I came to the rabbit hole for a cheeky cocktail with my boys before we went to the symphony. Now that we are 26 we are looking for a more sophisticated space, and that's exactly what we found at Rabbit Hole. The establishment appears unsuspecting when you walk in, then you are transported to the basement, which has prohibition speak easy feel. The lighting and the music create a mysterious atmosphere, that adds to the fun all night. We each tried one of the cocktails, and were blown away. The perfect stop before we appreciated fine music. Shoutout to our server Cassandra, who joked around with us all night! Even making a deal with me, that if I can return here with a tinder date, I will be provided with a free appetizer. I have been swiping!
We don't normally hang out around sparks street but went specifically to check this place out. The interior is beautiful in the dim light. Who knows maybe it's gross with the lights on. They have a patio on sparks and bar on the ground floor. The bar in the basement is very nice as much of the 100+ year old building structure is exposed. Comfortable booths and attention tive service. We were only here for drinks but were well taken care of. Their kitchen perhaps closes around 11 so we could order any food. We also went up to the roof top patio. No amazing views but on a hot night it was nice to be enjoying the outdoors. They have DJ playing electronic music. The roof top patio accepts cash only though. Had a great time and will be back.
My girlfriend and I decided to try out this little hidden gem on Sparks st. We decided to be seated downstairs when asked by the waitress upon entering the restaurant. It was cozy, not too loud and the decor was quite unique. Our server provided excellent service and informed us of a few items that were sold out. We ended up ordering the Miss Cal and High roller cocktails which were pricey, but well worth it! For food, we grabbed the Pizza red three (tasted fresh although the dough was just a tad soft but most likely the amount of toppings they put weighed it down) and the pork belly (crispy on the outside and tender on the inside). The food was spectacular and definitely will be back for their cocktails and pizza!
This place is very cool! You can tell right away these folks care about their cocktails; they were delicious and unique. Everything was elegant, colourful and made from scratch. Eric and Shawn were very enthusiastic and passionate about their ingredients and mixology. service is friendly, casual, and somehow still professional. They made us feel happy to be there. The patio is quite nice, but the inside is phenomenal. The way that the building has been decorated is an homage to it's heritage while still looking updated and neat. A great place to go for some nice drinks and a decent menu selection. Thanks so much for having us, we'll definitely be back!
I had very good time at Rabbit Hole yesterday! I’ve been here few times and they have always been accommodating and extremely friendly. Both the steak and pizza were delicious. Especially the steak was cooked and seasoned very well. The drinks were good as well. But what made the experience exquisite was the staffs working there! The two girls, one in charge of the seatings/covid regulation, and the one in charge of serving were so sweet, helpful, and super friendly. And I’m sure it would’ve been swamped for them on the first day patio dining re-opened. I sure hope they get recognized and acknowledged for their work! Thanks for a good night!
Do not miss this place!! The atmosphere, cocktails, and service was like nothing else we experienced in Ottawa. We had Cocktails off the menu as well as dealers choice. For dealers choice you are asked spirits of choice and then a few questions regarding flavors that are preferred in your cocktails. The resulting dealers choice cocktails were phenomenally balanced and brought so many subtle notes and nuances to our favorite spirits. Each sip was better than the last. Stop in and allow the bartends to show you their creative skills!

Great cocktail list. Nice selection of craft beers including two made just for them by local brewer Kitchissippi. Knowledgeable and friendly bar staff took the time to walk us through the menu. The baseball sized and shapes ice cube in the Above Average Joe (see photo) truly made it above average. And the popular Garden Lady was delicious even to the non-gin drinker. Although they specialize in oysters the pizza selection is great. In the evenings there’s music and dancing. Great atmosphere and an insta-worthy lit ceiling. Exactly Just what Sparks Street need to get through winter.
Had a lovely time here! Upstairs looks magical and downstairs really lives up to the rabbit hole name. Felt like a place that gentleman rabbits would hang out lol. The drinks were very flavourful and boozy! Got the spark st (?) Mule and it got a real good ginger kick! We got the oysters, a pizza and the wagyu burger. I liked that the burger came with both fries and salad. But the bun was a bit soggy. The salad was well tossed but flavours were too strong with the pickles and capers. Felt like they put the charcuterie ingredients into the salad. I really loved the fries!
The speakeasy is a fascinating place! We had a great time and lots of fun! Georges could make you a drink of your choice or you could leave it all up to him to concoct something extraordinary (provided you guide him with a few key words, like sweet or sour, or herbal, citrus, bitter etc). Then, relax and enjoy. We enjoyed the charcuterie trio with lots of raw vegetables, dips and pita bread. Did not like the truffle chips - hard and burnt.

AMAZING SERVICE. We had to reschedule our reservation, but we had emailed with questions and a request for someone in our group who required accommodation. Ellie was the respondant and just from her engagement and speed of follow up was beyong exceptional If I take other resteraunts as a comparison (which I didn't in my review above) I would have to figure out how to score them 100 stars, I am VERY much looking forward to going next weekend and finishing this review. The bR is set high, and I am confident it will be met.

I'm not a Google reviewer, but the service was soo bad.... Resturant was maybe half full and we were asked to wait outside for 10 mins until the lower level opened. We eneded up asking to get seated at the bar. After about 5 mins the bartender refused to serve us drinks because she thought we were too drunk? Not roudy, not loud and not even drunk lol...This was at 10pm... never experienced this before... it was a friend's birthday party. Just two couples in our 40's.

What a lovely place. The food was tasty. I had the half charcuterie board and some oysters. Both were delightful. I arrived early in the evening so I was pretty calm. The staff was very attentive and kind with good recommendations. We asked for a spot Inn the speakeazy when it opened and we got to have a few drinks there where the bartender Derek was fabulous at picking out cocktails, making suggestions and having good conversations. I highly recommend. Photos are a gimlet and a smoked old fashioned.
Service was a little slow, but great! We ate dinner at the patio and then went downstairs, which was an amazing atmosphere with a DJ that was so good at his job. We were just passing through Ontario and got an amazing impression of the city just stopping here. We had Veronica as our server and she was very friendly :)

Great place for cocktails. I really enjoyed the concept and all the different types of drinks they offer . Not a place I’ll recommend to eat tho, I had the pizza and the spicy nuts to share while enjoying the drinks and it was very average for the price, nothing special at all . Instead I recommend just ordering fries while you enjoy their cocktails. Cocktails prices go for about 12$ , I find it very fair considering the amount of alcohol you get, not water down at all .
Delicious cocktails for a fair price but getting one was surprisingly difficult. Layout of entrance is tiny and does not accommodate waiting area nor was it clear if we could just go to the bar. Got to the downstairs bar and bartender was incredibly rude, telling me they did not have my alcohol of choice even though I could see it behind him. He and the other bartender made it seem like it was an inconvenience to serve us.

Beautiful spot! And what a surprise once you head downstairs to the larger dining area. I preferred the upstairs though, a bit more intimate . We just had some oysters as we already had dinner reservations elsewhere later on, but the menu looked great. Oysters were super fresh!! We had a few cocktails they were fantastic ! Staff were great as well, chatted for a bit. If we’re ever back in the area again this is on our list to eat . Will definitely return !
Great place, good variety of drinks, craft beer, mocktails, and food. The pizza was amazing. When i arrived the service was top notch at the bar and at the table, however, the waitress outside on the patio was not so great, waited on empty glasses a few times for example and the patio was not that full (hence the 4/5 stars for the service). I will go back for sure and recommend the place.

Make no mistake, the decor and atmosphere of this place is incredible; however, I went there for lunch and waited an hour for an $18 burger and fries that came with a side salad. I liked the fries, but my burger was super tiny and so dry it tasted like paper towel. The side salad was actually just a small pile of lettuce with nothing on it. We asked about the wait... I don't know... maybe the kitchen just got upset with us. Bummed :(
Dealer's choice was such a fun experience! The bartenders really know their flavours. Each drink was carefully crafted with creativity. The bartender asked us about the flavours we liked, the types of drinks we preferred and we were served with something even better. Dealer's choice was about $20/drink which was reasonable considering we were not ordering from a menu. Steak and Frites was average, but they give you large portions.
We had the steak & fries, it was well prepared and sized. We quite enjoyed it. Service was prompt and friendly, seems to be a well run restaurant. Prices ranged from about $20 to $44 for the steak, which was good for the quality. My only small criticism is that the presets for tip% on the debit pad begin at 18%. I had every intention of tipping well based on the great service, but the presumption is a huge pet peeve of mine.
Food was incredible, atmosphere was upscale and like no other place we've been. Try the shrimp fra diavlo appetizer! It was perfectly spiced, and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. The ahi tuna was also a must try. My husband loved the curried carrots on the side. His dish came with fries woth truffle aioli, it was addictive. Overall, highly recommended.

I have visited the Rabbit Hole numerous times, and normally I would sit out as what most wanted. One day, we decided to sit on the inside as it was packed outside, and we were amazed by what was inside the place, especially in the basement. The aesthetics of the place is absolutely incredible, perfect for a date night. On top of that, the Rabbit Hole offer some a great selection of drinks.
I was here as a work lunch thing and absolutely loved the place. It was my first time coming and love love love the atmosphere. The basement area is so cozy and the ambiance is legit nice. The food was so good. Most of us got pizza on the table and absolutely loved it. Service was nice but 4 stars because it got super late to get our food, other than that everything was on point.
Came here with some old friends for dinner and it was a delicious experience and the vibes of downstairs is really giving “Prohibition” vibes. Expect the mains to be average around $20-45 and the cocktails are delectable and around the $15-20 price.

We went here on a Saturday night. The decor was great and atmosphere was intimate. There were a lot of options on the menu. We were there with a friend who was allergic to garlic and onion and they accommodated it without issues. The food was excellent and service was friendly. I love the different levels this place has and I want to return to dine in the lower level.
Really well decorated with good music and good vibes. This place us deceptively large. There are a ton of people that can fit this place. After certain hours it becomes a night club. The variety of patrons is good. The majority of the people you see there are in their 20s. This is a nice addition to the city and I hope more places like this will continue to spring up
Great service, nice ambiance, better lit than other bars, and not excessively loud. The pizza and chicken sandwich were on point and portions were generous. Arguably better than some of the top pizzerias in Ottawa. Food and drink prices are very steep unfortunately. Also, do the chips have garlic powder on them? If so, I would say drop it (I love garlic btw)
Cool spot. Great vibe. Perfect date night spot or for after work drinks. The atmosphere is cosy cool throughout upstairs and the downstairs (plenty of books and crannies). I found the food pricing (on the pizza) was a touch high compared to other places downtown that serve similar pizzas. The canalés for dessert were fantastic. Highly recommended.
Golly gosh. The drinks here are incredibly strong! However, quite delicious. The pizza, from what I can tell (I didn’t eat any), seems to be quite yummy. Scrumptious, if I may. Dapper place, Sir Charles recommends.

Wow! Crazy place! Extremely popular in Ottawa and usually, it is very very busy place. Must book in advance. There are a few "holes" in this place. The main floor first with tables, then the lower bar with DJ, and the last hole, is a super fabulous, a SECRET VIP room with the unique bartenders. The VIP bar is in a separate location.
I just wanted to say this was a 10/10 dining experience. From the phenomenal customer service to the FOOD. My friends and I ordered the pizzas. The pizzas are made in house and you can taste the freshness. Best pizza I have had in Ottawa. Ask to be seated at the speakeasy and ordered the White Pizza #6 or #2. You will NOT regret it.
This place is an Ottawa gem. You have to go here! The pizzas are outstanding, the wagyu hamburger is so tasty, and so is the steak and frites. The atmosphere is super inviting and fun. Love it here! Must try

A magical place, incredible vibes! Fabulous craft cocktails, fresh oysters, and delicious pizzas. Loved the ‘wow’ factor downstairs. It’s perfect for date nights AND work groups / friend outings. Pay attention to the gorgeous decor as you walk through this space. I’ll never hesitate to come to the Rabbit Hole. A true Ottawa gem.
Absolutely loved this place! The vibe is great! Music goes up post 11 and the tracks played are fantastic! We tried about 3 dishes and all of them were fantastic! Pizzas are customizable and are light. Cocktails are made to perfection! Service is good too! Cassandra was a great host! Overall, would defiantly come by here again!
Amazing cocktails and delicious food. Next level service. We had a group of 10 and our server made an effort to learn each of our names and referenced us directly throughout our meal; it just added a personalized touch to the experience.

The atmosphere here was lovely, especially the cozy basement area, which added to the overall ambiance. The food was fantastic, especially the pizzas that most of us ordered – they were a hit! Our food took longer than expected to arrive. Other than that, everything was on point, and I genuinely enjoyed my time here.
Very tasty pizza - I got the red 6 - grilled chicken and added fennel oil on top. It is a good size as well. Highly recommend the tequila on the rise as well. Service was friendly and quick. Everyone seemed to enjoy working there.

Epic location. Super cool vibe downstairs. Awesome beverages! Great staff and ownership! The downstairs venue is great for dinner or drinks and appies, but it is perfect for events. It's also well known for its pizzas and cocktails. And, the speakeasy is definitely worth checking out... if you can find it...
Best outing in Ottawa. Went from Mississauga to Ottawa to celebrate our anniversary & were greeted by awesome servers & manager who made us feel very welcomed. Ambiance, drinks and food was delicious, especially the fresh oysters, goat goat chicken salad, & all pizzas. Will definitely come back!
Cool atmosphere, fancy interior as well at this place.... But I am not satisfied with the amount of time I have to wait to get my bill..... Maybe this is just a single incident but I expect better service. Only 3/5 for now. If things improve on my next visit, I'd raise my rating next time.
The oysters were so delicious, and the atmosphere here is perfection. Its cozy and intimate, yet it still feels lively. Order the Mushroom Pappardelle for a home-cooked meal vibe - it's very comforting and delicious. The cocktails were good, but Jackalope is where the heat is.
Awesome atmosphere but ruined by the service taking a nose dive in the evenings. Cover charge person was rude and the servers were nowhere to be found, so I'll never know what the pizza tastes like. Oh well.

My buddy and I came here for some drinks. The bartenders were amazing. Somo made us some personal creations based on our preferences. That was a lot of fun and very tasty. Definitely a fun place to enjoy some unique drinks.

I love how cozy the place is and how private the booth is. You can be totally comfortable with your friends and the best part is the atmosphere is very calm and charming and then it’s a fantastic loud night club. Perfect mix between fun loud and noisy and also cozy and hip
We had way too much fun here! We went back multiple times during a week vacation in Ottawa. The basement is so neat, you have to see it in person. Great cocktails and we loved the gluten free pizza. Nice spot on weeknights or weekends located right on sparks.
Nice and friendly staff. The food was okay the drinks were interesting! The atmosphere and decor is really unique and interesting. There is an upstairs and downstairs to the place with two bars. Lots of dining area. You can come casual or dress nicely here.
And down The Rabbit Hole we went!! A delicious evening on Sparks!! Charcuterie boards were yummy and their Churros with cinnamon sugar, and dulce de leche to die for!! Delicious food, attentive service and cozy atmosphere, always a great combo! …

First visit here and simply put - it’s a great spot! It’s warm. It’s intimate. It’s a place where one can sit back, enjoy well made cocktails, and great conversations. I’m looking forward to the next visit.
Cute vibe and yummy cocktails! This place is was nicer that it looks from the outside. It was busy in a Thursday and the atmosphere was fun and flirty.

The cocktails and pizza were to die for. Each cocktail was better than the last. Bartender was so great. She got part of our order wrong and got us a free drink and fixed it up right away. Vibe 10/10.
Better suited for late night option around sparks but during the day you can still grab a killer pizza

Was seated downstairs and it was lively at 8:30 pm on a Wednesday. Oysters were great but cocktails were hit or miss. Atmosphere was fantastic, great for girls night, friends gathering and dates.
Amazing atmosphere. Quick lunch service if you need to be in and out but the vibe is relaxed and you are not rushed by the staff. Great selection of beer and drinks. Great open kitchen concept.
Nice decor and ambiance, big place, a lot of people. I liked a lot shrimps main dish, my friend ordered chicken piccata mains and she didn't like it. Calamari was so so, posters was good …
We had a large party (20ish people). The staff was awesome despite our numbers; super quick to bring us our drinks, and the food great!

Cool spot and chill environment. Lots of staff to serve and many benches to accommodate smaller groups for hanging it. Really enjoyed the time and the music being played.
Great vibe, decor, and ambience. I had the brownie for dessert, and it was a nice presentation and totally decent brownie dessert. Not a bad way to end a night!
Amazing food. The Ambiance is pretty incredible. You can sit inside or use the patio. The food and cocktails are awesome. The perfect place for date nights :)
Seems like a popular place. Had to wait quite a while for the food because they forgot about the order.

Had lunch here a few times, this time I ordered the Wagyu burger...was slightly overcooked for my taste and the side salad could improve but overall good..
Great cocktail bar off Sparks St with unique drink flavours and good food. Highly recommend the brussel sprouts on whipped black garlic ricotta.
Beautiful place, the ambiance is very relaxed. The cocktails are very tasty, the food is good but a bit heavy. The service is very nice and quick
Great service, super friendly staff. The food was good but overpriced- I also tried some of the cocktails and wasn’t a huge fan
Best place for cocktails and treating out of town guests! Great date night place! I strongly recommend Rabbit Hole.
Such a vibe. Loved it. Great good and service, will def be back. Pizza was excellent!
