First off, Radisson Hotel doesn't divulge that its under construction and also hosting Haiti Refugees for the last year. This hotel is one of 16 Hotels/Motels surrounding the Montreal Airport. Not a pleasant Hotel at all. As so as you arrive, you'll be greeted by dozens of male Haiti Refugees at the lobby entrance. This Hotel is under renovation/construction everywhere inside/outside on site. I went to 3 different ice machines, 2 broken, the 3rd one finally had ice. I watched other customers bringing in store bought ice bags, remember temperature is 30 with humidity at 38. NO AIR CONDITIONING until you reach your room. This is definitely not the safest place for anyone, dark hallways, filthy dirty premises. I feel bad for any Refugee, coming from Haiti or Ukraine, I am a daughter of an immigrant, so I do understand. What bothers me, is that this Hotel doesn't divulge either the construction/renovations going on, or that this Hotel has been hosting Refugees for almost a year. Makes any woman or man, very uncomfortable. Anyone who smokes, must go to the designated areas, outside front lobby. Where as a woman and smoker, now you can be watched by dozens of Haiti men, this makes any woman/man feel uneasy. The situation is so bad, while the Refugees eat 3 meals, provided by Hotel, obviously paid by our Canadian government, this hotel also has to hire Security Guards. You'll see these Two Security Guards standing by elevator, observing each meal serving. Yes, very strange to see that. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone! Their Front desk reception was not nice, very rude, unkind, unhelpful and extremely unprofessional. They all need customer service training immediately. Pet friendly, not at all. I asked for a first floor room, easier with a dog. I had no idea, All the rooms on first floor are occupied by the Haiti Refugees. The grounds surrounding this Hotel, has no areas for your fur animals to pee or poop, literally concrete or gravel. After arriving, within the first hour, I canceled any further nights stays, we certainly left the next morning. We headed to Laval, and stayed at a 5 star Hotel, so much better. I highly recommend the Hilton/Hampton Hotel in Laval, Quebec. You will not be disappointed at all . But you will be extremely disappointed, if you stay at this Radisson Hotel. I'm not sorry that this review, actually tells the Truth about your hotel. I wish someone would have wrote the truth, in other reviews. Because I wouldn't have wasted my valueable time or money, at this filthy hotel.

Booked here specifically for the pool and the fact that it had a suite option with a separated bedroom, which lived up to what I wanted. Check-in was very easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. I was disappointed with the room overall though as it is very dimly lit and both ends of the room open up to public spaces so it was extremely noisy. Given that there was a kitchenette in the suite, I presumed it would be functional and there would be cutlery or something but unfortunately there were just 3 plates and 2 cups so not overly useful. The physical space of the room though is very large and roomy. The hotel over all is definitely family friendly as it has an indoor pool and outdoor splash pad as well as a ping pong, fooseball and air hockey table.

Very disappointed with the lack of lighting in the king suite. The livingroom is lit exclusively by two lamps, same with the bedroom. Rooms are "dim" at best. The suite has a kitchenette but no cutlery etc that you would expect, just three plates and two cups but nothing to eat with. The suite does offer plenty of space which is very nice. Some furniture pieces are worn and peeling and look gross.
Nearby activities
There is a children's museum and indoor playground within 15 minutes of the hotel. Lots of shopping nearby.
Walkability
This area is not walking friendly, it's on a busy one way street with not much to walk to.

I recently stayed at the Radisson Hotel near Montreal Airport and had a mixed experience. On the downside, there was construction going on throughout the hotel, which was quite disruptive. I believe this could have been managed in a more organized manner to minimize the inconvenience to guests. The renovated rooms now have wood floors, which in my opinion, do not provide the same level of comfort as carpeted floors in a hotel setting. Additionally, the absence of a directory on the telephone in the room was a noticeable oversight. The service was slower than expected - it took almost an hour to fulfill a simple request for a towel. Also, the lack of breakfast options was disappointing. On the bright side, the hotel does have some redeeming features. The pool was a nice addition, and the availability of pool tables and table tennis provided some entertainment options. There's also a small bar for drinks. The hotel's proximity to downtown Montreal is definitely a plus. In conclusion, while the Radisson Hotel Montreal Airport has potential, my experience was less than satisfactory due to the ongoing construction, room renovations, slow service, and lack of breakfast options. I hope to see improvements in these areas in the future.

This hotel is not yet a Radisson. Looks like Radisson bought a cheap motel and is under renovation. And they have decided to rent out rooms in a half-baked hotel. There were rooms which are still under construction but even the room we stayed in had lots of room for improvements. If you see the attached pics you will see that the torn curtain was patched with a scotch tape. The iron was not mounted to the wall. Open ended bare cables were lying on the floor. Power outlets were missing wall plates. The closet door made a loud cracking sound every time you closed it. The vending machines also ran out of water but luckily the nice people at the reception were kind enough to provide us drinking water. The front desk was very friendly and welcoming. There was some loud music playing in the place beside the hotel. Those who are sensitive to sound would have had a tough time going to sleep. Also there's no complimentary breakfast. So overall this place is not recommended at this time. Maybe in a year things will turn for the better.

I booked the hotel 50 days in advance. The room I chose was the apartment with living room and separate bedroom. That's because this was my wedding trip, and my best man came from another country and could stay with us. With less than 1 week left, they call me, saying that that room would not be available. Only an ordinary room, with only one bed, would be offered to us. And that, WITHOUT REFUNDING ANY CENT!! The most they could do is add a folding bed to the room. Yes, that's what you're getting at: I slept with my wife and best man on our wedding night. Well, getting there, our room was in an area of the hotel that is under renovation. It had an UNBEARABLE fresh paint smell. There were no trash cans, no coffee machine, no iron and ironing board, and guess what? The foldable bed wasn't there either. We had to ask and wait a long time, as we arrived at night and tired. To top it off, the staff is extremely rude (with the exception of the cleaning staff) and unhelpful. My advice: stay away from this hotel. There are better and cheaper hotels in the same region!

The service at the restaurant and bar were great. Sonita and Frank are extremely helpful and friendly :) But the rest of the staff at the front desk was not helpful at all. There were several children staying at the hotel and the pool was filled with children who were extremely noisy and the lifeguard did not say a word to them while they were splashing water at other guests. At midnight there were children running down the hallway and banging on doors causing inconvenience to us and some other guests. I had to keep going down to the reception as the key card wouldnt work at 12:30 AM and had to go down easily 4 times before they sent someone to come and unlock the door for us. Our room was decent as it was recently renovated so it looked cleaner and better than the other rooms, but the service is poor and even though we were promised that action would be taken against the guests creating a nuisance, nothing was done. The location of the hotel is poor as there are a lot of road closures and access can be difficult.

The hotel looked so good in pics, but I’m extremely DISAPPOINTMENT. The bathroom and under the beds are dirty. It’s literally so visible. It’s not worth the money. I have been to cheaper hotels that look cleaner. The only good thing they have is free parking and the pool. The view is really nice too. But that’s about it. THE alarm was not functioning either. The fridge is missing, yet we booked a room with one. When I called the reception, they said they would send someone and nobody came. So far the worst experience I’ve had in a hotel. The security guard are extremely rude. I had 3 different security guards be really rude to me and my father. They were kids running in the hallways, and for some reason I could hear everything. What happened breakfast, I will not get into it only thing I liked is the massage. The lady was nice.

Lots of mixed reviews in here so I’ll spell it out. If you’re staying before a flight this place is great! We parked our car for two weeks and there was a shuttle to bring us to the airport. Shuttle was on time. Parking was a bit tough to find - but it was March break so I’ll let that slide. They let us park for free out front until a spot became available. Hotel is currently being renovated so good changes are on the way. New paint and carpets being ripped up. Our room was completely renovated top to bottom and was clean and comfortable. Only downside is that the walls are paper thin so we could hear when the room next door left at 2am. Nice little bar and restaurant on site. Service was friendly and straightforward.

The old lady in the front desk during morning is very rude and racist.A hotel receptionist mean some one look in a great personality and pleasant face to customers. This lady treats the customers with a rude behavior.I visited this hotel a few times and when ever she is there i can't expect anything more.I don't know because she may be a racist to brown and black people.During the time I waited in the lobby many African refugee staying in the hotel came for help and she was rude at them and deny to help.Notice to hotel management they have to hire better people in reception who have good customer care for their future business.

So far -- absolutely terrible experience. The shuttle is supposed to run every 30 minutes, we have waited 50. And we're still waiting. Other hotel shuttles came and went and came back. I'm not exactly looking forward to my stay. I wonder if maybe Barney Rubble is driving this thing with his bare feet. We finally arrived. The front desk is acutely aware of the problem and conveyed a sense that that's the way the hotel is managed, and they were kind, apologetic and helpful. But the room, while newly renovated, only had decaf coffee and our wifi signal is too weak to connect. Also there are no electrical outlets near the bed, only a USB-A slow charger for your 10 year old Android.

  • Shriraam Murali

Don’t let the pool photos deceive you. We were a party of 4 and booked a room that had 2 queen beds. The room belongs in an antique museum and the bathroom was one of the smallest one could ever encounter. The most terrible thing was that only 2 power outlets were working. Imagine a situation where 4 people had to charge their phones and other smart devices and have only 2 power outlets working! If you’re concerned about a place just to crash in, then it’s ok. Otherwise would not recommend this to any of my friends. The oven and the fridge just exists, doesn’t work.

If you’re looking for a bed to sleep in, that’s about all you’ll get. The staff have been friendly and helpful, but there is only so much they can do with the quality of technology here. The place tries to make up for their horrendous wifi and spotty tv signals with a swimming by pool, but not every guest plans to use that amenity. Wifi is a minimum service hotels provide in this day and age. I’ve been beyond disappointed; I’ve been frustrated. In short, lower your expectations and you may be ok with this hotel.

This place was absolutely filthy and a health hazard the pictures are so deceiving. It was so disgusting we asked to switch one of our rooms and still it was terrible. We ended up leaving and finding a new hotel last minute. Very disappointed as this had decent reviews. But the filth and the smell coming from the rooms was awful. Mold everywhere and not cleaned properly. The only thing that was good was the service they didn’t argue at all to switch our rooms and gave us a full refund.

It is an average hotel . Probably more closer to be called a motel . The rooms are average . The floor rug was pretty dirty and the room set up was not that clean too . It is okay if you just need a place to sleep and you are on the run (to roam city during day) . I would say for that price per night I expected better. Better than this would be to go for a motel which would be much cheaper but similar sort . Overall average place.

Vey nice hotel with free shuttle services to the airport. Dave is the go to man for shuttles, great dude. Excellent customer serviceat the front desk. The rooms were impeccable and there's also a very good restaurant and bar inside. They have a fiitness center, sauna, and indoor pool. Also, make sure to check out Nico's gift shop inside, he has very reasonable prices.

You can get the mini washroom in here. Go inside & hard for anybody to close the door. Not meet the 3 star hotel standard with 36 square feet for the washroom. Not joking with anybody. How they provide the minimum service to customer? I try to contact the hotel association for how they can get the 3 star standard.

Facility itself is nice with poor sound insulation in our room, hearing conversations of people walking by, indoor swimming pool opens 1630, food here is very good at the restaurant. Pizza all dressed and smoked meat sandwich, both good, but one of these dishes was enough for two with no leftovers. What's bad is there are no convenience stores nor other restaurants walkable very nearby. Walkability is poor.

It was one night stay, sweet and short. The view of the pool from the upper floor is nice. Only the gentleman in the front desk during checkout was rude. Was checking out at 6 AM and breakfast was not available so asked for drinking water and the person at front desk denied to provide that.

Stayed at this hotel and we left the car parked for 10 days. The room was big enough to accommodate our suitcases. They have free shuttle service to the airport. No issue with parking other than it was pretty full and had to look around for a decent spot. The parking lot at the back is also confusing because it's not clear where it ends and where the one for the other hotel starts. I think it's simpler to use the Park N Ride.

First impressions were that the two guys at the desk were overwhelmed, wearing t-shirts and jogging pants- they didn’t have the room ready and were juggling people in all directions. The room they switched us to had visible stains, goop of unknown origin and dried liquid on the walls. Was not about to let my family stay there. We cancelled and left. The pool area was pretty cool looking though

  • Fabiola Vizcardo

Terrible. The room looked old and dirty. Window dirty. Stains in the walls. Mold in the bathroom. The tub was disgusting. The curtains didn't close properly. But the worst was that we found a cockroach. The only good thing was the service at the restaurant; they were friendly and kind.

We love the bar. Frank was a great guy who helped with food suggestions and car rental. Love the tacos and the cheese cake. The room is okay but the bathtub is slippery even without water yet and there is not rubber mat to use. Location is good as it's close to the airport. More

Shuttle service was horrible. Called the hotel and ended up waiting for 45 minutes to get picked up from the airport. They said it will be 15-20 minutes. Had to call again after 30 minutes then they said 15 minutes. Rooms were right out of 1980’s. Avoid if at all possible. More

I stayed in a suite: one bedroom, living area and small kitchen with dining table (no stove, however). Kitchen was not very useful as they do not provide utensils - what's the point of having a kitchen? You have to ask the bar for kitchen
