Still a work-in-progress. The businesses here all have their place in a much broader community. But the new soon-to-be next-door neighbor (Wonder Scope) moving in next year will benefit children, parents and grandparents. There will be needs for intergenerational shops appealing to 3-year-olds, to teens, and to their parents and grandparents. The improvement of a 4-lane parkway with a dedicated bicycle lane, walking /jogging path-sidewalk (and stretching to Minor Park and Golf Course from Wornall Rd. back to Holmes Road all along Red Bridge Rd.) will appreciate properties in the area... especially for the younger and older families... and for the profitable businesses all along the two-lane Red Bridge Road toward the east... none! The area is not zoned for business until the subdivision of Terrace Lake Gardens, about ten blocks from Grandview Road. The proximity of grocers, eateries, coffee shops, medical service providers, hardware stores, drugstores, charging / petrol stations, public transport and the lush unspoiled hills, ridges, and history of the first real "wagon" trains from Independence via the combined three different trails' "areas" from the Blue Ridge down to the various crossings at the Blue River make the area unique and mostly unspoiled. Then: through Jim Bridger's land to the Fitzhugh Brothers mill at Indian Creek (Watts Mill) or south through Mission Lakes toward a "New Santa Fe": all this makes the area the brightest spot amongst many... all lush with history and learning experiences! The new Cerner Center, new businesses forming at the former 'Bannister Federal Complex', Burns & MacDonald at Wornall Rd. and Bannister, the development of town-like construction / reconstruction in Hickman Mills' Orchard area, along all of Grandview Road, to older neighborhoods, back north to Bannister Road past the oldest golf course in South K.C. (Oakwood), back west to the bluffs overlooking the Blue River Scenic Parkway along Blue River Road and back east to Blue Ridge Boulevard and then south through a regenerated Ruskin Heights, to Longview Road to even more recreational activities at Longview Lake, back over to Blue Ridge Boulevard toward the south and into the totally rejuvenated Martin City. Red Bridge Shopping Center anchors many areas miles away. The urban appeal of a suburban new town setting with a magnificent view to the east is a relaxing difference. There are approximately 37 places of worship, 12 schools, two colleges, six high schools, five institutes, four seniors-only living centers, three day cares, three golf courses and a hospital--all within 6 miles of Red Bridge Shopping Center. Enjoy. And remember: Red Bridge Road is the only east/west road in South Kansas City past Bannister Road. [Blue Ridge Blvd. runs south/east from KC, into Grandview, then back into KC just before... Blue River Road.] Thank you, Lewis and Clark, for naming the Blue River and the Blue Ridge.

If it weren't for the pandemic this place would be even live-lier But I'm glad that there is a lull at the moment for safety (I want those vaccines soon) The staples are Blue Moose, Barrio, and China Dragon for the best eating options! Coming really soon is a Cookies and Creamery next to Crows which I'm super eager to open up because they are going to have Silas and Maddy's ice cream sold there! (Best ice cream I've had in the Kansas side of the city) I expect after this pandemic... I expect there to be more activity based businesses coming into the space

They forgot my pies. The service was surprisingly horrible. I don't expect much from these chains but sometimes one will exceed lack of expectations. We ordered a 30 piece deal in the drive through. Unfortunately, we could hear the employees and their inappropriate comments on the large order. The blond headed male seemed to be the mod and his attitude was pretty off-putting. His remarks were a little over the top. We ordered at 830. The store still had an hour in a half till close. So I am not understanding the inconvenience. We will not return. They won't miss us and vice-versa.

Charming, comfortable neighborhood shopping center, recently remodeled, with several staple businesses, including Sunfresh Grocery, small but inviting, including deli and a full assortment of libations and friendly employees. Euston's Hardware has most of what you need, also with friendly service. The Mid-Continent Library Branch has had some changes post-covid, and is open again. U.S. Bank branch next to CVS. China Dragon is very good and a neighborhood coffee shop, a bar, and a Mexican Restaurant are on site. Fast food nearby, Phillips 66, across from Minor Park Golf Club.

I ignore all the prompts from Maps to review shopping centers - but the developers, managers, designers of red bridge deserve a tip-o-the-cap for the excellent job they have done with the look and feel of this strip center. it's a great looking place that makes me 'want' to return and check out what all stores and restaurants are there. seems like it could become somewhat of a 'destination' venue with the addition of a wider variety of tenants. regardless - good job folks!

I love this area for shopping, however the Sunfresh store smells. The store appears to be clean. Because as soon as you walk in the door, you can smell cleaning products. As the salad bar is also located at the front door as well. The smell turned me off from purchasing anything from the salad bar. I did purchase other items at this location. It's a nice store, just a little smelly that can be corrected.

Coming back to life. The Blue Moose is up & running, also The Daily Limit is in the same place serving a great burger & stuffed jalapeno poppers. Worth tasting. China Dragon is a freshly made to order restaurant. Crows Coffee is available for that caffeine kick & Mariposa Juice Bar sits behind the Blue Moose. Need to stock the pantry & cupborads, Lipari's Sun Fresh can handle that task for you.

We were so disappointed! The food was cold, although it did have a good flavor. The waitress had the cook redo our food! We had waited so long that we decided to change it to carry out. Then, they forgot to put our corn in the box, and the enchiladas ended up being chicken instead of beef. The waitress and the manager were both very nice, but I'm not sure if we'll go back!

  • Loretta Anne Johnson

It is a convenient place to go, not too far from where I live. I like being able to visit quite a few of the businesses in this shopping center. There are several restaurants of different types, US bank with 2 ATMs, Sun Fresh grocery store, gas station, pharmacy, and a library all in close proximity, so I really do go to the stores here quite often.

  • Liz McNay

Clean, safe, well lit. What's not to like? Plenty of parking. Interesting shops. Entertaining venues. It isn't as busy as it was twenty five years ago, but few shopping centers are. If you had a different experience pretty please leave a review. Reviews DO matter to businesses. I encourage everyone to use this platform to express their opinions.

  • Barbara Lutman

Since the updates and new restaurants and remodel going to happen at Sun Fresh it is nice to go there now. Fresh and much better. Outside seating everywhere. Euston's Hardware is great. Nice people to help. And the new Discovery Museum due to open has beautiful landscaping. Yay Red Bridge. And close to all that is happening in Martin City too.

  • Tom Prewitt

It has been fun to see the transformation this shopping center has been slowly going through. It was nice to see The Blue Moose come in and it appears to be doing well. I visit several of the stores in the RB center. My favorite is still the Daily Limit. Love their burgers, tenderloins and tacos and service is always great.

  • Rome Conrad

I love Red bridge barrio, the CVS is pretty good and some of the other surrounding restaurants. Only thing is is the streets around that particular area in any direction it's terrible.. to the point you have to drive slow or you going in holes right around that area all throughout the streets in most directions.

  • Benjamin Bailey

It had been quite a while since I had been over in the area. But I was taking a back from the new restaurants and little knick-knack shops that they have in the area. It was like a whole complete Renaissance of the area of which I new. I hope they keep up the good work and continue the progress in the area.

  • Tim Neaves

It's not the same Red Bridge your remember from a couple years ago. It so much more now, and is still expanding and adding new restaurants. The blue moose is awesome. Caleb's breakfast and lunch soon to open will be awesome. Wonderscope soon to be built is also going to be a great addition.

  • Woodrow Gray

This is a nice shopping center and offices space. It's laid out nice and spread out to not croud anyone. The restaurants are nice and have outside seating. Outside bar, people enjoying themselves everywhere. Gas station right there, CVS, grocery store and more!! Much Love! the Inferno!

  • Deborah Neiberger

I like shopping at Sunfresh, it is small and convenient. The staff is wonderful. The library is around the corner and I enjoy going there, too. There is also a coffee shop called Crows Coffee and restaurant called Tanner's which serves chicken and burgers. Both are delightful

  • Pam W.

Had the Buffalo chicken wrap and sweet potato fries. Wrap was good but fries have a lot to be desired. Could have been served hotter and with better seasoning. Atmosphere rather bland. Decent service but if you have a large party, expect to be there settling up for awhile.

  • Sam Trave

Right down street from my house got everything I need down there convenience stores gas bars coin store grocery store Mexican food Chinese food hardware store place for the kids to play and learn and the public library what more could you want it's two blocks from my house

  • Joe Ardelean

I went to the Red bridge festival and it was okay but not enough crafts booths, a nice little car show, and the music was great it was just so loud that you couldn't really talk to people in the booths and not enough places to sit down to relax, that's why I waited at 4

  • Jonna Nevins

The newly renovated area will be a perfect place for community shopping and take a walk with your family. We have added multiple nice restaurants here with high quality food and drinks. You can even get pharmacy service, hardware, groceries and other services here now.

  • Pacifica Diaz

Great little shopping center. I don't recommend the sun fresh. Little sketchy and the whole place wreaks of fish but blue moose is an amazing restaurant. Barrio is delicious. I haven't been into many of the shops but it's a cute little place that's got the necessities.

  • Kandice M Gerdes

So much growth now! So exciting to see the restaurants packed. Calebs is great for breakfast/brunch. Blue Moose and Barrio are great for dinner. Crows coffee is great for small meetings or just a relaxing space to hang out. Can't wait for the new library space to open.

  • Linda Wall

Clean and safe have stored 2016 rv in parking area never a problem, have used inside storage as well and the lighting is always working and bright . The locking gate system I believe discourages vandelism. Great place and Ireally appreciate everyone in the office.

  • Ryan “HerofromHades” Combs

Very much needed for Red Bridge. Happy to see this update and new business positioned even if some old favorites had to go. The Daily Limit, China Dragon and the coffee shop highlight and face Red Bridge, Lipari' s Sunfresh is also found in this area.

  • Carl “Rick” King

If you are looking for a reasonable and great vet then this is THE place. The pricing is very good and the service outstanding. You can tell everyone here loves their animals. One word of caution though....they are cash or check only. No cards.

  • MiMi R

I love this side of town. Located near Minor Golf Course, south down Holmes road. This is a great place to shop safely with the family. Wonderscope loves it's location over here updating many of us attractions. I've eaten at a few of the

  • Melina Herrington

I love that this part of KC is trying to grow and develop. This is around the area I live, and I love it. It has cute, individually owned restaurants, a great coffee shop, & they're building a new Wonderscope for kids that looks awesome!

  • Jason Miller

Nice little shopping center that's been there for years and has reinvented itself several times to remain viable. A number of restaurants, stores, and businesses, including Tanner's, Mid Continent Library, Crow's Coffee, and Barrio...

  • Max Khatthaname

Such a fun experience! Lots of different things the kids are able to experiment with, stem activities and what not. Definitely worth the money if you stay a few hours. We were there for 3, probably could have stay another hour or two.

  • Christine Butler

Red Bridge Shopping Center provides basic services but the grocery store lacks a modernized facility and lags on products and services. The Blue Moose bar and grill has a friendly vibe, serves hearty meals, and a variety of beverages.

  • Rex Snyder

Went here to pick up a couple items from the grocery store. At this time I haven't visited any of the establishments in this center (aside from the grocery store) but was impressed by the variety of shopping and dining available.

  • James Mitchell

One of my favorites! I eat at a place called Caleb's for breakfast. I highly recommend this place. Also a Mexican and Chinese place here as well, along with Tanner's restaurant. There's even an ice cream and a coffee shop there!

  • Richard B. Barger

We go to Red Bridge to eat at the excellent Caleb's restaurant. Terrific menu selection; wonderfully friendly staff. The owner always drops by our table with greetings and conversation. We highly highly recommend Caleb's.

  • Barry Hancock (Bear)

Went to the barrio after leaving Tanner's. Drinks were good but a little high and the music was phenomenal with the Oscar Polk band. Listening to them only the first Friday off each month is a shame. FANTASTIC MUSICIANS

  • A J

I frequent here at the library and the people are always helpful and nice. If you have questions, they have answers. Forgot your library card? They will look it up and you can still use the computers or check out books.

  • Maryanne Shelten

Rapidly growing strip mall. The blue moose is yummy. The boba tea is good. Sun fresh has a nice selection and the CVS is good too. Also the library is growing. Keep an eye out there's a kids center coming.

  • J Williams

I agree with others, this shopping area/strip is well worth the trip out of the city. A little something for everyone, people were polite, and had a very neighborhood-like feel. I will definitely be back.

  • Naomi Ray

Went to Tanners after work with friends. Great food, awesome service, and the atmosphere amazing. We got several apps to share amongst ourselves. Definitely a return trip in the near future.

  • James Joseph Gallo

  • Allen Pickett

My neighborhood shopping center. Love the new restaurants, great local hardware and grocery store. Hope Sunfresh will renovate because their old looking and smelling building doesn't fit.

  • Amanda Quinn

Went to WonderScope with Harley and cousins . Perfect for their ages . Toddler Paradise should be the name of this place. Not too bad on price affordable. We will be going back for sure.

  • Victoria Ragland

Tanners billiard room is very cool. We had the place to ourselves on a Friday night. I was shocked. There was I've country band playing in the next room that was pretty good.

  • KR Wilson

This is a classic shopping area with restaurants, grocery store and specialty shops. It is perfect sized to get variety, get in and out easily and meet family and friends.

  • .Michael Ruff

Grew up here, movie theater was the base but it's gone which is a sign of the times. Too bad the grocery store is gone now. Wonderscope is awesome for kids 8 and under.

  • Ronelle Neperud

Busy store at noon. Plenty of cashiers who are friendly and customer focused. Celebrating their remodel and new sections today! It's a great neighborhood grocery store!

  • Byron Ward

I've lived here and I feel like I'm going to die here. Rubber shopping center is a decent enough place wish they would have more carnivals and it's kept up all right
