Ambience: 4/5 Lots of indoor and outdoor space. We were there on Xmas Day and even though it was packed, there was enough parking and seating. Price: 3/5 For the amount paid, the food quality should have been much better. Food: 3/5 Butter chicken was good and so were the roasted potatoes and the grilled chicken. The breads were so underwhelming...tough, chewy and flat. That was the naan and romali roti. Service: 1/5 We made a reservation and we were quickly seated but the table was dirty. We had to ask them to take away the dirty cutlery. We waited for almost half an hour to get a menu, after reminding them that we had not been served. As we were eating, a lady staff came to ask us if we could move to a different table so that our table can be combined with another as a big group had just walked in. We would have obliged if we had not yet been served but as we were in the middle of our meal, we declined. We found that unprofessional. We waited for an hour to get the bill. All in all, we might still visit as we assumed all the issues are due to it being a very busy day.

The ambience was gorgeous!. Food was delicious but our drinks and desert were not the correct order. I asked for devilish chocolate, I received 3 scoops of ice cream, my sister also order a brownie with something else but instead received a hard brown with two scoops of ice cream. Regarding our drinks, I asked for the strawberry mocktail and my sister had the kiwi mint. All they did is blend those and served it to us. Mine tasted like yogurt. I was in fact very disappointed in the customer service of this restaurant. We came 30mins before closing which was at 10:30pm. We weren’t allowed to sit inside. No one checked in on us, had to raise our hands few times or call on waiter just to have someone to come to our table. I’ve never had any issues with any restaurant I’ve ever been to. Any issue was solved right there and then. I just wanted to have delicious food and go home but our overall experience was horrible. Customer service need to do better because the restaurant wasn’t closed until 12:40ish am.

An awesome restaurant in 2nd Parklands Avenue Nairobi. The ambience is great, airy with several big gazebos at the entrance, a main restaurant and a backyard seating. The place is usually crowded particularly over the weekends. Getting a seating for two people is not easy. The restaurant seems to specialise in groups, All the gazebos are usually reversed by groups. The food is yummy and has something for everyone with Indian, Chinese and Continental cusine . Reservations for lunch is not a requirement except for dinner The service very good and fast and parking is ample. This place is highly recommended.

Went there for date night. We were seated literally at the entrance, service took 2hrs before we were attended to even though it was not as busy. Waiters kept passing and assuming us and only attending to a certain "type of crowd" as priority. The food.. popcorn chicken in particular was extra salty and we tried to eat it as it is but couldn't manage.. when we asked for something to be done they brought the food back more saltier. The rest of the food we ordered was managable. We decided to packed all the food as takeaway. Sad that we spent 7200/- on food and still left hungry. Props to their cocktails.. they get you drunk . Ambience was okay. Definitely not going back.. I felt out of place and uncomfortable by the service treatment. Getting a parking spot is quite a task... go early if you must drive.

My first visit to Red Ginger was such a pleasant surprise, I can't wait to go back. Located in Parklands, the first thing that struck me was just how busy the restaurant was on a Tuesday. I was immediately glad we'd made a booking and I recommend you do the same when you plan to visit. Their menu is quite extensive, with Indian and Asian cuisine options that will make your mouth water before your meal ever hits the table. I ordered the Pad Thai, hoping it would at least be ok. I'm more than happy to report the Pad Thai was extremely tasty and authentic, the best I've had bar none. My partner ordered the Thai Green chicken curry which was also extremely flavourful. Red Ginger also has an extensive ice cream menu, and we shared a couple scoops of the peanut butter over cream for dessert. Great great experience.

The ambience is good, hotel setting is nice, good family place to be.Don't go without reservation. The mocktails where good. They offer an Indian, Oriental and Karoga menu. We ordered Indian and Oriental. Was not a fan of the food. I prefer Open house for Indian food. Ordered an Oriental Thai chicken. But it was more of a broccoli and carrot curry rather then chicken. It was too expensive as the food did not taste wow. It was not finger licking good. There was a small shop at the parking selling paan. It was a nice paan. If you have kids reserve the banda's. They 3 sitting areas. The banda's, the restaurant and a bar. Have an open glass kitchen. Waiter was nice. Mixed up our order but was rectified. Food came in at a good time. Drinks where also served at a timely manner not served very early then the food.

I recently visited Red Ginger and I would like to mention a few things that truly stood out for me, as a first time visitor: 1. The staff are very friendly and kind 2. Lighting in the evening even when you’re seated outside, well lit. 3. Over the weekends it’s very busy and calling to make a reservation is difficult. The beauty though, they have enough room for everyone. So if they don’t pick up, just go✌ 4. The food portions enough!! We ordered chicken( can’t remember the specific one) but the serving was enough for two!! I loved it 5. I would suggest that the restaurant consider having more pictures of the food and drinks in the menu, it’ll allow someone to have options coz they can see what to expect! Big shout out to Kioko! I was recently here for a close friend's birthday party which she made reservations for about 10 people at 6pm ....only to arrive and find nothing done. Our banda was set at 6.30pm. The table was extremely dusty even with the mis en place set on it. To add on, the bartender insisted we couldn't leave the bar with our happy hour cocktails to go to our banda!!!!! Talk of harassment and borderline poor people skills. Three of us took one for the team and passionately voiced our unpleasant experience to the supervisor. Compensation was offered to them only, leaving the rest of us with nothing. WHACK!! Despite all this, we still had fun. It was a delightful night. I had meri methi chicken with butter naan that i absolutely loved. Their portions are great, we carried home most of our food.

Great place to have a meal. Reserve as it tends to get busy and you might not find sitting space when you walk in. The food is delicious and a lot. Definitely worth the price. Drinks are also amazing but there’s room for improvement with the Sangria. The music is played at an okay volume which means you can comfortably have conversations. Overall, I’d highly recommend going in a group.

Now I understand the hype behind it!! The food was awesome!! Everything we ordered as a group was divine and full of flavour :) I would say the only thing that looked like a challenge is the car parking situation if you get there during peak hours you might struggle to get packing inside the compound. Also advisable to call ahead and book if you are a larger group.

The meal I had at Red Ginger will sit with me as long as I live. I visited there for a family lunch last year and I am still thinking about it. The menu is masssssive with a variety of cuisine options, but my fav was the Indian cuisine. The naan is Sooo good. The curries, the spicy ones were especially good. A korma was good, the chicken tikka masala was amazing, oh man I’m drooling just thinking about it. Everyone come to this place and let your life be changed forever.

We were sat next to some indian family that was having a loud party and were not informed about that in advance. This isn't acceptable. Also no sauce was on the table like in the restaurant. The dishes on the menu don't include rice which is basically a scam given the price point. Overall wouldn't return after something similar happened before.

Perfect place for some good indian food. If you don't like spices, the chef can tailor make it for you as per your liking. The portions are generous. The milkshakes are thick with icecream. Kioko was good at serving us and advised us accordingly. I will definitely go back over and over.

We celebrated my friend’s graduation there. We did dinner and it was pretty good…The food was amazing and the staff was friendly. I recommend you try their naan with curry (literally any curry) and Biryani. I will go back for the naan and chicken/mutton curry.

The food was amazing, very flavorful and the portions very large. The menu was the largest I have seen so far with a vast variety of options. Definitely value for money. Its a perfect restaurant for groups. Its family style and I love the idea of sharing meals. A very diverse menu, which can be overwhelming since they have different Asian cuisines. The food from this place was mostly good. I found some of the portions a little bit small and the cost very high. E.g. chicken skewers. II almost paid 7000 Kenya shillings and when I went home I was still hungry. The atmosphere is beautiful.

Very good food, the butter naan and butter chicken curry is a must try. The drinks are good, could be better but I liked the variety of drinks from wine, mocktails, cocktails and beer. Got a recommendation from a friend to try out this place. Should have known to make a reservation beforehand but luckily got a table by the door. Alex Kimanzi was a brilliant attendant and our food was excellent. Asked for something without chilli but the fried lamb I got had a slight peppery taste. The mango sorbet was excellent. Very packed so food took a few extra minutes to arrive but this is excusable. Would visit again. With a reservation this time

Had the chicken tikka masala with butter naan. Had them make the masala non-spicy. Absolutely amazing. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful and he kept checking if everything was up to standard. Ladies Night gets you three drinks for the price of one. Had the strawberry flavoured martini. Bartender was generous with the gin. . Skip the flavors though. It's just colour.

Have been planning to visit this restaurant for a while now. It covers a really big space and was looking forward to the food. On entry, there is some confusion as there is no one to guide u from the gate. The food was way below what I expected. Had the lamb chops which was overcooked and dry, the chicken tikka was average. Overall, bubbly environment, service was okay too.

Atmosphere is superb.. food seculent meat well tenderized, sadly the service needs alot of cleaning, polishing,and straighting to be A1 level. Might go back of the training needs are met and sorted.

Great grounds/space, good food, fast and friendly service. LOVED the dim sum and buns! Grilled salmon portion was HUGE. waitstaff was super nice. Only criticism is the coffee cheesecake was a flop/ too soft. Otherwise, great experience!

Nice place for friends and family gatherings. Their dishes are pretty spicy so if you are not interested in spicy foods, ask them to serve your dish with zero spices.

The waiters were really friendly, I had gone with a large group and they served us quite well, definitely going back. Their wings are also really good.

Indian cuisine is great, mocktails and shakes are very good, BBQ is good, oriental cuisine is average, the desserts and chai are a firm no for us despite their appearance. Great service and overall ambience.

Awesome experience, the service was good, attentive waiters who made the experience great, food was excellent and came on time. Would recommend this place. Great for large groups too as they have 'koroga'

Customer service 10/10, scrumptious meals and an ambient space. Totally loved it.

Lovely koroga joint/restaurant /bar. Definitely worth a visit if in Nairobi. Good food, great range of drinks, a good chef with excellent dishes. Gets busy, would suggest book way in advance.

There to celebrate a friend's birthday. They have gazebos you can book and entertain yourself separately. The food flavors are just yum!

I loved it, they really don't joke with the wine glass and the food quantities are amazing. It may be difficult to get a walk in table especially on the weekends so book before hand.

Stunning food. Huuuuuge selection. Service was extremely good.

I loved the food variety ,the service was also quick and friendly.perfect chill spot for friends and family.But be sure to book in advance to avoid being hurried to leave.

Such a beautiful restaurant!!!! Extremely spacious... the food is really good ... they have bandas for koroga ... the service is good. Loved it. Highly recommended it.

A gem of a place. Great ambience & a big enough menu to satisfy every palate. Indian, Chinese & Continental meals served accompanied with tasty cocktails.

Been here a few times. Still yet to be disappointed. 10/10 highly recommended.
