Wow, what a COOL place. I'm so glad we found this place on our weekend in Atlanta. It's a Speakeasy and like all speakeasies, you have to have a secret code of some sort - get it from your hotel's concierge. Once you get the phone number to dial in, you dial it on the rotary phone (for those who need a refresher on how rotary phones work....you have to go from the number and turn it all the way to the metal part - past 1 - wait for it to turn all the way back and then dial the next number. You're welcome.) Anyways, once you're in, you're introduced to the prohibition era, with a beautiful bar, cushy couches, and a wide variety of drink choices. Seriously, the book of drinks is endless and can be overwhelming. I suggest just listening to your server and they will give you the best recommendations. I am not a drinker and my waitress said "just tell me what flavors you like and we will make something up" - how refreshing and cool! I felt so cared for! I can't remember what our first server's name was but our second one was Amanda and she was great! Everyone was great!! Very accommodating and wanted to ensure everyone enjoyed their drinks. I actually didn't like mine and she was able to make it right. Everyone else enjoyed their drinks. Very reasonable prices too! There didn't seem like there was a time limit so that was a welcome surprise. There's a selection of cigars for you to peruse if that's your thing. I mean, honestly, it's just such a cool place. I will definitely come back next time I am in the area! Oh yea, it could get crowded and there is a line sometimes, esp. with all the conferences in town in that area - but I assure you, this place is worth the wait! You won't find a cooler place to hangout! Get dressed up and have a night out in town here!

I recently discovered the Red Phone Booth bar, and it instantly became my go-to spot for a sophisticated and memorable night out. Nestled away, this hidden gem offers an unparalleled experience. From the moment you step through the secret entrance, you're transported to a bygone era of glamour and exclusivity. The ambiance is rich with a 1920s charm, complete with dim lighting, leather-bound books, and an authentic red phone booth that adds a touch of mystery. The cocktail menu is a work of art, featuring a curated selection of expertly crafted drinks. The mixologists here are true masters of their craft, concocting beverages that are both innovative and perfectly balanced. Whether you prefer classic cocktails or daring creations, the Red Phone Booth has something to tantalize every palate. The attention to detail extends beyond the drinks, with impeccable service that enhances the overall experience. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to ensure your visit is nothing short of extraordinary. If you're looking for a place to impress a date, celebrate a special occasion, or simply savor an evening of refined indulgence, the Red Phone Booth is the place to be. It's a haven for those who appreciate the finer things in life, and I can't recommend it enough. Cheers to an unforgettable night at the Red Phone Booth!

Rude establishment!! It was my first time being there on 10/22/23 at 11:30 pm. My friend who is a part of the LGBTQ+ community was discriminated against and kicked out before they could even sit down. You guys explained that their attire wasn't up to protocol but my friends outfit did not break the strict dress code that you guys have. A collar on a leather jacket is not against your dress code! A collared shirt is even recommended on the list! There was a man sitting down at a table with a whole hat on. You guys pick and choose who you want to bring inside. The bouncer at the front that day handled the situation terribly. Very aggressive and disrespectful. The bouncer was a 6 foot black man with dreads. He cussed at a woman and physically put his hands on my friend and said, "you can't wear this!" How dare you! I will not be coming here again, neither will I recommend this place to anyone else. Before this situation occurred, I ate a little bit. There is nothing special about the drinks and the pizza was soggy and the taste was lack luster.

The Red Phone Booth in downtown Atlanta is a chilled-out speakeasy, perfect for anyone looking to escape the usual younger crowd. It's a short walk from our hotel, making it an easy choice for the evening. With a 1920s design, it’s a cigar and whiskey bar that stands out, especially with their unique smoked drinks. Though the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the drinks justifies it. We gave the shrimp scampi and calamari a try, but they didn’t hit the mark. However, the disappointment from the food was quickly overshadowed by the excellent drinks and the relaxed vibe. It's a great place to unwind for a few hours, the staff is friendly, and the service is good. Despite the food, the quality of the drinks and the cool, laid-back atmosphere makes the Red Phone Booth a place we'd definitely visit again. It's an ideal spot in downtown if you're into good drinks and a mature setting away from the usual hustle.

So my friends wanted to take me to this cigar bar that they frequent. When we arrived we parked in a nearby parking lot. When we got to the door it was a phone booth and they had to say a password to gain access. We were greeted by Scott who was the manager and he was great. When we sat down at the bar we were served by Leo and he was great. I started with one of their specialty drinks and didn't care for it so Leo spruced it up. Scott came up and was talking to us and wanted to give me a tour. They were adding to the spot and he showed me everything. The place was so big and nice. My friends ordered pizza and they enjoyed it. I ordered another specialty drink and loved it. I also indulged in a vanilla cigar and loved it. The bill for me came to $42 . I enjoyed my time indeed.

Searched this place on google and thought it was just another high end bar. We quickly found out however, the place is way more than a regular bar with drinks and cozy atmosphere. It was a challenge to get in because we needed a code and we didn’t even know where to find the code. After some conversation with the bouncer( or manager) we got the clue on where to get the codes to entry. Won’t spoil it here but once we were inside we knew why it was special. The place is just perfect. I have never seen a mixologist so busy with passion making drinks that were just amazing. The price is quite incredible for the experience and the customer service is just top notch. I can’t recommend this place enough.

This is an adorable speakeasy style bar! Initially I was annoyed because we didn’t know you needed a phone number to get in. There was a man outside that was clearly not a bouncer and prevented us from going in with another couple. We got the phone number from our hotel, but I guess it was outdated. We spoke to actual bouncer that let us in after we showed him our room keys. Once we got in it was an amazing experience! They really go all out on the theme! So many cocktails to choose from, a relaxed atmosphere, and we had our drinks on a comfy leather couch. The server was friendly and knowledgeable about the drink menu. I wanted to go back but we didn’t have time in our short visit!

When visiting Atlanta this is my second time entering the Red Phone Booth. Keep in mind the Red Phone booth has a few locations, you also need a code to get in it changes every time but not hard to get it's all for the experience. A speak easy that's cool and gives you old school mob vibes. The atmosphere is dimly lit with cozy. The menu offers a range of delicious food and crafted classic cocktails and many other drinks. The cigar lounge is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a fine cigar after a satisfying meal, or playing some pool.

One of the best bar visits ever!! We found the secret code and got in (eventually!) to the @rpbatlanta speakeasy… a gorgeous space, with a phenomenal drink menu and OUTSTANDING staff!! One of the best cocktail experiences I’ve ever enjoyed. We enjoyed a really great dinner menu as well! These are popping up all over the country but Atlanta is the OG, and for good reason!! The cocktails were amazing as well as surprisingly NOT pricey, their dinner menu was fab & if you’re a cigar aficionado you will love the walk in humidor with the huge selection! Seriously GREAT staff behind the bar and in the door! . .

Went here for a date night while in the city. Heard amazing things and just had to see for myself. I was a little disappointed.. the atmosphere was unique, and getting in through the dial phone was fun! The chairs were comfy, and the drink list was long and had a description of everything in such detail. We both ordered something different, and it just came out like a normal drink. Really expected more from the hype. Once was enough for us. They don't serve food, which is fine, but don't expect the kitchen to open.

We were able to go to the Red Phone Booth while in Atlanta and had a wonderful time! Fortunately, we'd been given the phone number to be able to call and get access. Once we passed though the phone booth, the atmosphere was classic speakeasy...with dark wood fixtures, a beautiful lighted bar and backlit ceilings. Service was top-notch. We gave the bartender ideas of liquors that we liked and flavors we enjoyed and let his creativity go. He ended up mixing four cocktails for us and each was fantastic!

Been wanting to visit here for a while. You have to be a member to get quick access to get in. My group waited I’ll say 20 minutes if that to get in. The ventilation system they have is good. If your visiting you can call the hotel front desk and if they participate with the place they’ll have the password to get in. The gentleman that runs it is very nice and pleasant. MEN FYI there is a dress code that is strictly enforced. This is not a sports bar proper attire is required. It’s expensive but worth it. They sell cigars in the back and the drinks are worth it

  • Noémie

This is definitely a must see if you're visiting. They have great drinks! Try to sit at the bar, especially if you're visiting on your own. You must make a reservation or get the phone number from one of their members. I went for supper at Saito and Hailey the bartender gave me hers. My only complaint is the smoke and smell. This place is all about nostalgia, but I definitely don't miss the days when I came back home from a bat/club smelling like smoke (I don't smoke). I had to leave after an hour since I didn't want to stink for the rest of my trip.

  • PO

What an experience! It's good to know there are still places out there that still appreciate a nice properly prepared drink! The drinks are awesome the staff is friendly and inviting. You can't find a more accommodating place to relax and have a cigar and a drink. The bar has whatever you think you may want and a decently stacked Humidor. If you get the phone number to call in the booth, your in, Ask around at nearby hotels and restaurants and you should be able to get it.

Excellent speakeasy with a vast menu. This particular night was a little slow on service , but there was only one bartender who was doing his best to handle the volume. The atmosphere here is amazing, great company at the bar . Humidor stocked with fresh cigars. Make sure to have the code prior to walking over to the phone booth. You will be approached by the ‘locals ‘. Make a quick entrance and exit. If you’re staying at a local hotel - as your concierge for the code ( a phone number ).

We were looking for a classy speakeasy near our downtown hotel when we heard about this one. We had to do some asking around to get the phone number you have to dial in the phone booth, which added an element of fun. We loved the prohibition themed menus, decor, and atmosphere. We saw several people turned away without a code or the right dress code, which made it a better experience for those who followed the process. Overall, it was a memorable experience!

This bar is such a cool mellow vibe. I’m not a big cigar smoker but Stacey helped me pick one that was thrust right. The drinks were amazing. The bartender Cash made me my own special drink based on what I told him I like and it was probably the best drink I’ve ever had. Everyone who worked there was extremely nice and just made a regular out of me. I went on a Monday and it was just what I needed after work. Highly recommend.

This is a speakeasy/cigar lounge, you have to get the correct phone number, call and you'll be let in through a red phone booth (email for the number). The folks behind the bar are amazing, as the craft cocktails are very well balanced! The people here are very welcoming and helpful! They have a variety of cigars on hand, and the humidor is well stocked. You can order from from the neighboring pizza place, which is really good! Sunday's are calzone and pizza only night. Great place if you find yourself in the area!

Someone in our party group got the code to get into this place. Atmosphere on the dark side, But this is the usual for cigar/cocktail lounge. Good music AND cocktails are SUPERB. Being one of those females who want to smell like Lancome all the time, I do not smoke. But, the cigars and old fashioned pipes reminded me of my grandfather. And speaking of old fashioned, this is the drink one must definitely have here. Truly, the BEST Old Fashioned I have had. An unforgettable night.

Didn't eat here...only came for the cocktails. Entry was a bit tricky. Not because I didn't have the entry code. Just had to wait for someone to answer the phone. You'll see if you go. Atmosphere inside was great. Classic cocktails and cigars. (Good air ventilation removed a lot of a cigar smoke) Good music. Once I got a server (took some time) service was good. Fun speakeasy experience. Centrally located in Downtown. Worth a visit.

You must visit this place! It is a truly unique experience. We got the code from our concerige at the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised that they were not busy at 6pm on a Saturday. We had the opportunity to sit and the bar and talk with the bartender, Stacy. I had the smoked old fashioned, and she came up with a few other drinks to try. The food menu looked delicious, but we only had drinks. We will definitely be visiting again.

By far the best location between the two Atlanta establishments. If you’re looking for nostalgia, low key, and quaint, this location is spot on. The bartenders, Cash and Reuben provide the best recommendations for any bourbon or whiskey sipper, plus their signature drinks are something to write about. The manager, Leon, is always hospitable and ensuring your experience is consistent. If you decide to become a member, you will have access to this gem along with random appreciation and private events.

  • Robert Shearer

IF you can get in, it’s a great experience. Some of the most knowledgeable and creative bartenders around! This is the place you need to know someone to get in for sure. The atmosphere is prohibition era and the cocktail menu is EXPANSIVE. There’s nothing they can’t do. You can also just tell the bartender your base liquor and some flavors you like and they’ll figure out exactly what you need. Oh and you can’t go without purchasing a cigar there. Completes the experience.

  • Scott Dunson

Wonderful atmosphere and service! It was my first time visiting but I will definitely be back. A fantastic variety of cigars to choose from and the drinks were amazing as well. The service was great. We didn't have to leave our seat once. Our server brought the drinks, grabbed the cigars we wanted, cut them and lit them. She ensured the experience was exceptional. The vibe is so welcoming and mature that you felt like the strangers around you were friends.

This is a speakeasy/cigar lounge, you have to get the correct phone number to enter. You need to have the membership to enter the club $300 yearly. The folks behind the bar are amazing, as the craft cocktails are very well balanced! The people here are very welcoming . You can order from from the neighboring pizza place, which is really good! You can smoke cigars inside the building so if you are not used to smoke and smell you may not like the ambiance.

Really cool spot to hang out and enjoy a drink or two. It gets a bit overrun when conventions are in town and the service can be very slow when it gets busy. Every drink I've gotten there has been great but it's not unheard of to wait 20-25 minutes per round. Last time I was in the music was cranked a bit high so it was hard to enjoy a conversation.

This place is amazing. So many stories. So much personality. The mixologists are full of life and depth. They can make you a concoction you didn't know you needed all your life. Upscale and particular. Don't wear a hat. Don't come in casual. Don't order an average drink. It's an experience that shouldn't be squandered. And what's best, they won't let you.

Came here with my mother. We ended up getting the entrance number from the hotel I was staying. What an awesome ambience for a lounge. We truly enjoyed this place.
