Very disappointed. If there was an option for less than 1 star, I’d use that. I ordered lunch today 12:50 for my family, with asap choice, 1:38 received a text saying delivered, while nothing have been received. Than another text saying "delivery modified or canceled ... reach out to them directly for more info". I called them at 1:45pm they asked me to wait 15 to 20 mins as they just sent the food out with the driver. My kids were verrry hungry waiting their food. 2:40pm I called them again, asked to talk to the manager, he said: sorry, not sure what happened with your food ... I can refund your money" that was all from them. They accept online orders and take the money but the order disappeared. So now my family is without food and I have to find another good shop to order food from.

So very disappointed in Red Rooster. It was my go to meal when on the road. Will now have to find something else. I always order the same have for years. So very very disappointed the Flava wrap now has 2 very tiny pieces of chicken strips. One skinny bit of cheese slice instead of grated cheese. No more coke no sugar. But Pepsi no sugar which is awful. Melton store I've just been to. My wrap was so small, it was ridiculous about half the size they use to be. The big reduction in chicken strip size and one skinny bit of cheese slice reduced the size significantly. Chips were cold and soggy. I asked for a little extra salt. Couldn't taste any salt. Very very disappointed. It will be my last Red Rooster meal.

The customer service experience was so terrible I felt like leaving the store. We were served by a male front of house staff who made us feel like a burden, he did not use his words and did not communicate with us. Quite often raising his eyebrows as a form of communication, he did not answer our questions or requests. For example, we requested to swap the potato gravy to coleslaw and wanted to make sure it was okay with them, only to be left with complete silence. We asked in a clear and polite tone yet the male staff chose to ignore us. Such a poor representation of Red Rooster, the corporate culture appears poor. The male employee did not want to be there and he made it quite obvious, reflecting his poor attitude and mood onto customers.

Move over K*C there’s a new game changer in town. The crispy chicken here is actually crispy and the spicy fried chicken is so damn good. It’s so damn good that it’s the only thing that’s cheering me up today. Like I know people say you need to see light at the end of the tunnel but today there’s a triple spicy tender chicken burger at the end of my tunnel and that’s even better. Also the customer service is exceptional. They really do go above and beyond here and Josh and Ebony are just so lovely!

After two years of not eating red rooster because their food became absolutely lackluster I decided I'll give them one more chance and now I remember why I wrote them off where to start, food was absolutely cold the chicken in the burger was raw and the burger was absolutely drowned in sauce and fell apart I will never give this place a chance again and honestly don't know how the heck it's still in business at least at kfc I know the food will taste nice and only comes with a side of late night diarrhea.

It’s been perfect, there’s this new boy I see working there I assume that’s the manager there. Ever since then the food has been wonderful, tenders are juicy, warm and anything else I get is perfect. Before hand every-time I get tenders they would be dry or when buying 3-5 of them the last one is less than the original size of one and it was ridiculous and made me not go to red rooster for months. Very disappointed! We had ordered lunch with two rooster roll meals, kids meal and some deserts. Got home chips were not cooked kids meal was cold and pineapple fritters not even cooked. Missing our chocolate mousse too! Called up they said they would replace and make fresh. Round two- chips the same!!! They were like eating a raw potato not hot and fluffy. Mousse was also frozen!! The meal I was given were quite sub par,the quarter chicken was alright however my chips were a little too salty, so I give the benefit of the doubt because they were busy. The staff especially the girls and some guys at the back have been quite lovely and acknowledged my existence at least.Kudos to you!! However as soon as I was about to leave I overhear 2 male staff members bickering,gossiping and using offensive language ,which was what put me on edge!!! Not very professional to say at the very least when there are customers around!!!

Red roster melton service excellent. Staff are friendly and welcoming. I always get hot honey chicken on family meal or 3pc pk and ask for thighs and drum pieces and staff always comes thru they are the best. Food serve freshly and hot . I dine in and take out as well. Restaurant is clean and vibe is good. Drive thru always busy on weekends and sometimes during weekdays after 5pm. Over all 10/10

If there was an option for less than 1 star, I’d use that. I very seldom eat from Red Rooster and tonight I am reminded why. Seems they accept online orders and are happy to take my money but the order disappeared somewhere in the cloud. So now I’m without food or money. I’ve been of the believe for a while now that Red Rooster is a money laundering front for some other business because nothing else explains how such poorly run, customer oriented business can still exist.

Worst experience!!!!!! Our family order cost us $80! But we didn't even get half of what we ordered! I asked for no cheese on my wrap, yet there was cheese, my mother didn't get the nuggets she asked for and we were missing a chips . The managed of tonight said the driver will return with the correct order, 45 minutes later... I called back and the managed tells me that ALL the drivers had gone home! Not only did we lose money but some of us also went hungry!

The hot chips are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. They are also at the top of the List on Melton’s Fastest Food Joints. And their service is superior to other fast food restaurants. The RR team don’t make you feel as though you’re bothering them because you’ve rocked up; quite the opposite; they make you feel that they’re stoked you’ve ordered.

Zero customer service, not even a return smile! Burger was an over cooked deep fried reconstituted chicken pattie and the ripper roast roll was at least chicken but squashed into a sweaty microwaved bread roll which looked more like a wrinkly sponge, not appetizing in the slightest, will never return to this store ever again. For what we spent on lunch, we should have gone to Nandos and had real chicken burgers

Disappointed in the delivery service!!!!! Half of my order never arrived and after calling the store they said i needed to call doordash to get a refund for my missing order, yet i called doordash and they say that it is redroosters responsibility to ensure my order is correct before giving it out to doordash so never received any refund or acknowledgment. Wont be buying from here again.

Customer Service is APPALLING, when we pulled up to the window to pay she didn’t read us our order back to us correctly, when asked to say it again she ignored us and told us the total price. After paying, we requested a receipt twice and were ignored, not to mention how LONG of a wait it is. No wonder I never came here, wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, don’t care how good the food is.

Ordered a Tropicana box tonight and got home to discover i had a very small piece of chicken and no chips...yes not one chip and most of the skin was missing from the small piece of chicken... when i rang the store the girl i spoke to was very apologetic however I still had no chips and a very ordinary bit of chicken...edit one year later no chips again and blaming me

Last night my husband bought Red Rooster 8 pcs Fried chicken in a box with Chips, Mash potato, and Slaw, (May 19, 2023) (around 6pm)The coleslaw had a smell and was not eaten. This is the second time this has happened, the first time the mashed potato was watery and also had a smell. Seriously Melton Red Rooster you need to check the food before you serve it.

I was the only customer waiting in line, everyone working saw me waiting to order, I had to wait a good 8 minutes before a girl served me. Had to wait an extra 15 minutes for one small meal. The rippa box. Wasn't really worth it, the actual sandwich had just the chicken in it, no salad, chips not salted, chicken pieces were so tiny oh well.

Very disappointed bought cheesy nuggets just half an hour ago .They are raw and not cooked at all if eaten can cause health issues I am afraid simply wasting money, frustrating and bad service the store was even not busy at that time .Staff aren’t doing their job properly.

Just went through the drive through... Basically threw my meal at me... $16 later reg meal chips chicken and gravy microwaved roll couldn't eat it. Very disappointed. Check the photo I salvaged what I could from some of the roll. Hard as a rock hit it against metal sounded like metal on metal. Lucky I got a drink and mousse. I want my money back!?

gotta love red roster it is a little on the pricey side unfortunately but good taste i do personally prefer other stores as my chips were so cold and the wrap also but put some gravy and bang got yourself a good meal

Terrible communication from counter to backroom, ask me if up size is wanted, then after a yes, give a smaller meal but still charge as a large, a simple fix is to just give the customer what they paid for, not call a manager and embarrass the customer further, simple mistake that seemed to be a regular occurrence.

My best mate started working here a few weeks ago he was iso when he got back asked one question and he got treated so horribly n abused by two workers. He reported it and got told he’s useless. He came home crying and now depressed. this is disgusting and you wonder why yous are going out of business do better.

I come to this Red Rooster a minimum of once a week and must say I am never disappointed. The food and staff are always exceptional. The quality and consistency is unlike any other fast food company (including other Red Rooster chains). Please let your team know they are doing great work.

Was just served by Donna who has exceptional customer service, she told me with what I wanted I could get the same for a little cheaper. Totally friendly and helpful. I wish there was more customer service provided like Donna had provided me with today everywhere else. Thank you Donna

Went to the store approximately 8pm Easter Saturday ordered 2 chicken rolls 1/4 chicken chips, chicken chips ok but I received 1 chicken roll cold on the bottom 1 chicken roll lettuce capsicum and spices not happy and before in the past have had problems with this store

Really Disappointed tonight. My daughter spent $80 on BLT crispy chicken wrap meals. Chips are cold and the wrap tastes like it was microwaved. Tomato warm lettuce limp and warm lucky to have had 2 bits of diced bacon. Ought to be ashamed of themselves big thumbs down.

Hands down The worst customer service ever, there was no one even there and and it was really quiet but I still stood there waiting for someone to serve me for a good 5-7 minutes. The food was cold and the chicken had a bad smell to it. Never coming here ever again

Red rooster is the best overall place to get chicken. With the new fried chicken they sell it’s is a real flavour bomb from me. There is a KFC across the road from them but at least this fried chicken is crispy and flavourful.

Please stop over-salting your chips! Today they were inedible. Remember, a customer can always add more salt if they want more salt, but it's impossible to unsalt them. I had to toss them in the bin.
