We were looking for authentic Czech cuisine and this was exactly the place. Is is a warm and cozy place with welcoming interiors. Make sure to reserve a table as it is quite popular and gets full very fast. They have all the Czech authentic food like goulash and stews, etc... They had a few vegetarian options. I tried the fried cheese and fried potatoes it was great, a must try when you're in Prague. I would definitely reccomend this restaurant.

Food is very expensive for what is actually given in the plate, the portions are very small. The waitress has no kind of education or manners at all. The waiter, however, should give her an example of how to act with customers. My Schnitzel was ok, but the rest was without any sauce and tasteless. Would not recommend it if you are really hungry.

I paid 15 Euro for a salad, which didn’t even have salad in it and the portion was pretty small. The waiter gave us the receipt for us to all pay together. After I told him that we would like to pay separately he told me that I should have told him that from the beginning on and that it is to much work. After a discussion we were able to pay separately. Also we had to pay 1 euro(25kc) for bread which we didn’t order. And I mean 25kc per slice.

The place is not bad, but for the restaurant in the city center it didn’t fulfill my expectations: -We were waiting for too long for the food and as you can see we didn’t order anything special - just a salad and a steak with fries. -Neither the steak nor the mushroom sauce didn’t have any “taste”, both of them didn’t have enough salt or some spices. About the rest: the salad was good, very big portion, tasted well and for the good price.

Pretty good food and reasonable prices. I ordered the roasted duck. Of course, it was prêt à manger, so they just reheated it. No problem. But it was not warm enough. The duck was rather dry and falling apart as soon as I touched it. The sauerkraut had too much flour in it, not enough tartness and not crispy enough. The plate on which it was served was undersized.

It was "ok". Nothing to brag about. If you pay on Euros, they will add quite a bit extra. Pay in local currency, either in cash or card. No extra charge for using a credit card. We also were charged significantly for tap water in addition to our meal. If you don't want to eat bread, refuse it when they bring it to your table or you'll be charged for it.

The food was nice but the service was really bad. The waiter was old woman with blond hair who tried to force us to pay her tips. Ofc if the service was good, we would paid her good tips. But when she gave us receipt, she was asking why we cannot pay her tips in a rude sarcastic way. Do not recommend.

This place had good traditional Czech food. The food was tasty and provided a way to feel closer connected to the country that we visited. I would recommend going here for anyone looking for a yummy traditional food. I really enjoyed the white cabbage that came with the plate. It was a sweet picked cabbage that paired nicely with the rest of the dish.

the best dining experience we had in Prague was at this resto. friendly service even when the elderly lady server didn’t speak much English. fabulous pork ribs and good beer in large mugs.

very nice place pity the unfriendly staff and the food nothing special. the Prague ham they serve as an appetizer is anything but Prague. looks like a discount ham. Then the arrogance in the claim to leave a tip. disappointing.

Can't speak to dinner, but a great spot for a pint and pub food. I had rye bread with herbed garlic butter and a fabulous grolled sausage with mustard and freshly grated horseradish. Delicious! Service was attentive and friendly. I would return.

The waiter was unfriendly as hell! We had to pay 150 just for ketchup that was on the table when we got there and bread that we didn’t order. And the waiter then had the audacity to basically demand a tip. I’m never coming back here and if it’s the last place with food on earth. Další

Found this lovely restaurant by accident. Food was fantastic and beautifully presented, the staff were very friendly and helpful. And it was very reasonably priced. Definitely the place to go. I'll definitely be back
