This parking lot is too small to meet the demand, but is the closest one to UCT that first-years can park in. Beware the red and yellow lines - and grass - if you do not want to be fined R500.
Too small, no lighting makes it unsafe at night. Supposedly public parking gets booked out by Sanparks for people with no notice.

Just an open air parking lot. Convenient to walk to Rhodes Memorial or a range of other lovely trails.

No water point. No ablution facilities yet many hikers and runners frequent it.
