I took the tour to Karlstejn Castle last summer with Richmond Cycles and it was one of the most beautiful bike rides of my life. The owner, James, was kind and professional and helped to adjust our bikes for our comfort. The bikes looked brand new and rode beautifully. I've rented many bikes in Europe and these were by far the nicest. The tour guide was very accommodating and allowed us to stop to take pictures at the best spots along the way. He answered our questions about life in Prague and we had a nice chat during the ride (3-4 hour ride). The agenda for the day goes something like this: Meet at the shop in New Town, get comfortable on the bikes, meet the tour guide, and start riding. It was a very flat ride next to the river almost the whole way. The ride was 95% on bike paths. We stopped for lunch at the end of the ride before going up to the castle. The tour guide locked our bikes at the bottom of the hill then we walked up to the castle and explored. Finally we rode our bikes to the nearby train station and took a lovely train ride back to Prague. Thanks Richmond Cycles!

I bought this old bike in Budapest and rode it for around 2 years without putting any work into it. When I moved to Prague, I decided to put some money into it to upgrade it. Most bike shops in Prague only deal with higher end/newer bikes, and they did not want to work on mine. Pavel did an amazing job of asking what I wanted for my bike, and what my budget was. Pavel did an amazing job of trying to get me everything I wanted for the bike at the budget I set for it. He even helped me get some parts that are hard to find due to the age of the bike. He was very transparent once he took the bike apart about any other work that needed to be done. Overall, I am really happy with how the bike turned out, and I would highly recommend Richmond Cycles, especially to people who do have older bikes. Stepped into James' and Pavel's shop when looking for bikes for my wife and I. James was great with discussing options for new Treks with us and hooked up some some demo bikes really quickly. Low pressure sales, and honest pricing. If you are looking for a new mountain bike and a resident of Prague, I recommend getting in there to check the Roscoe out. The 27+ tires are dialed in for all of the things in Prague's streets that are trying to kill you on your way to the single track. And no, I don't work for Trek, I was just so stoked about how that thing rolls over cobble, that I thought I should share!

I had a great experience with Pavel at Richmond Cycle, Prague. He is very friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to spend time Setting up a high-quality bike for a good fit for you. He even spent time showing me different routes that he uses on Strava. I rented a carbon fiber track cycle for 24 hours, very reasonable, and he included lock, helmet, lights, and time to make sure the bike was properly tuned before I set out the door. If you want to rent a high-quality bike, and considerate to her also, this is definitely a great place to go in Prague! Highly highly recommend

I was finishing the Europe bike tour in Prague and was looking for a bike shop who can pack my bike for the flight home. Of all the bike shops that I contacted in Prague only the Richmond Cycles responded. Pavel was very helpful and responsive. He packed my bike quickly and even delivered the box with the bike to the place where I was staying! I am very impressed at the level of the customer service from Richmond Cycles and I highly recommend this bike shop to anyone who is in Prague.

Pavel, the owner, demonstrated great hospitality and gave us a great introduction to Prague and everything cycling related around here. Didn't hesitate to direct us to another shop in the area when some niche product we were looking for was unavailable - that's always a great sign of professionalism. There are lots of good bike shops in Prague but I was looking for a more personalized approach to upgrading my bike. I chose a small shop in Vinohrady recommended to me by a friend. James, the owner, was so friendly and professional and spent a lot of time with me understanding my wants and needs that I really can't say enough good things about the entire experience. Recommended without hesitation!

Fantastic local bike shop in Prague run by a great fellow named James. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and could kit out a novice biker all the way up to a competitive Cyclist with his knowledge and selection. James was great - set me up with the right bike for the trek I was doing (Prague to Karlstejn Castle). Highly recommend and would do it again! A word of advice if you do that trip - when I went, there was pretty strong headwind almost the whole ~25 miles. If I did it again, I would train to the castle and then ride back, but then again I'm a novice rider. Enjoy!

The best bike tour experience ever. Lovely highly informative tour with an excellent service and super new bikes. We called on the day and managed to get an English tour, in the end with just the two of us. The guide was super friendly, funny and very knowledgeable about the history of Carlstajn! We'll rent bikes here again whenever we get back to Praha.

Habe ein komplett irrepelrabeles Fahrrad abgegeben und gesagt es handle sich um einen Notfall und dass ich morgen damit weiterfahren müsste. Auch wenn wir es nicht repariert bekommen haben, wurde unglaublich viel versucht, um es wieder in Gang zu bringen!!! Was ein toller Service!!!

I couldn't recommend Pavel's and James's shop and services more highly! They are true experts in the field and organised a super exciting trip for me and my husband in Prague in June 2018. We had so much fun and everything was extremely well organised. Again- highly recommended!

Recently bought a new bike from here. The owner was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and helped me pick a road bike from the Trek range. The shop has a more personal feel than a large dealer and this comes across in the service provided even after the sale.

I was in town for Chalenge Prague and while test riding the course, had tire problems. Being from USA, and not know if the issue could be fixed. They got the new tubeless tire all set up for me. Kept my pice of mind that all is well for th race.

I needed a specific bike component on Saturday and every other bike shop around was closed. Not only did (Pavel?) have it, he tried to give away for free! Best service I could have hoped for, all my future bike purchases are happening here.

Skvělý cyklokrámek na Vinohradech. Chodím tam pravidelně na servis kol a nedám na kluky dopustit. Vždycky poradí a je vidět, že kolama žijí. Doporučuju!
