I had always enjoyed Star Kebab's gözleme - vegetable ones - but sometime probably in 2019 there was a notable change: pastry different: no longer 'soft', but now thick & like cardboard; marked decrease in the amount of filling - EXTREMELY stingy - just getting a mouth full of cardboard pastry; one day, I ordered 4 fillings: spinach, cheese, capsicum & mushrooms, but received it minus the spinach. Was too far away when I started to eat it, so unable to return to the shop to rectify. Then, I realised the owners were different: it was now a lady taking the orders, not the same young guy who had been there for years. The new owners probably need to revert back to the previous owner's recipes otherwise they are bound to lose alot more customers than just this one, if they haven't already...

It was delivered cold to start, it was as dry as a sao biscuit. Not pleasant at all sorry. North Richmond kebabs and pides are much better. I left instruction when arriving to call as I'm in a granny flat and owners weren't home. The driver was going to just leave it on their BBQ. Luckily I seen him. Pathetic service

I recently had the opportunity to try Richmond Star Kebab, and I was very impressed. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. I ordered the chicken kebab with tabouli, cheese, and barbecue sauce. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the vegetables were fresh and crisp. This is the best kebab shop in the region, have been going here for many years, my children love it. They have great owners and a fantastic delivery driver who is happy to deliver to your door step Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. They start deliveries from 5pm in the afternoon (on those selected days). Please keep the shop busy as they love to provide great food, service and quality kebabs to their locals, deliveries go as far as Marsden Park. Well done Richmond Star Kebab!!!

To be honest the food is just pathetic, and extremely unreasonably priced. Pide was burned to a crisp, had hardly any filling at all, and was tasteless. I paid a whole dollar for one slice of lemon with it. The snack pack had overcooked chips, no salt, no cheese (as was ordered for $1.50 extra), and bland meat. $65 for a pide and a snack pack (with delivery). Absolutely astonishing. I've been burned every time I've tried to give this place a go, and I won't be doing it again.

I've been there half a dozen times since new ownership. Kebabs are not wrapped tightly and fall apart. Aluminum foil wrapped into kebab so last mouthful is tinfoil. Chips are overcooked and so hot they burn holes in the Styrofoam container. Be very careful and check your change. Three times I've been charged three different prices for the same meal, always by the same person. Others have told me the same story too. I'd give this place a miss, I wont be going again!

I have been coming here for a long time and really enjoy the food . Normally come here in the afternoon and evening for take away and find food and service really good . Recently I have been coming during lunch and have found the service and quality of food very inconsistent as i noticed it’s different staff . Most expensive kebab store in Australia probably. Please check prices before buying. I ordered a basic snackpack, $22 no cheese, no drink. Quantity was about 30% less then every other snackpack ive ever ordered. Taste wasnt awful. I asked the lady if they overcharged me by accident, and she sarcastically said "why is it to cheap" I said i normally pay $12 and she laughed and mocked me along with her workers! I

Honestly!!! Use to be my favorite 5 star take away shop in the hawkesbury.. but over the last few years it has gone down hill severly, food isn't the quality it use to be and the prices have doubled like they have replaced some ingredients with flakes of gold, not very happy and never to return. If i could I'd give no stars, but as their name states.. they only get a star from me.

Unhappy customer they fail to listen to what a customer wants. I ask for no onion or capsicum on my kebab they put capsicum. I added mushrooms and cheese no problem with them charging to the cost but on my kebab no mushrooms or cheese :(

If you are after the 'WORST' kebab on the planet than this place is for you.. chicken, dry totally disgusting, brown lettuce, stale bread pathetic.. If you do decide to eat here you may have to sell a kidney on the black market to be able to afford it.. $24 for kebab, 600ml coke & 250ml water.. look elsewhere..

Ordered 2 kebabs one which came completely wrong, meat was old and crusty, lettuce (which was not asked for) was brown, they were cold to the point where the cheese wasn't melted in the slightest, one girl was polite when greeting us when we walked in however the girl who served us was extremely rude.

Authentic and delicious food and WONDERFUL customer service. We went for a late dinner and the lady behind the counter (I think she was the owner) was so lovely and happy to have nice customers! She gave us extra free food for being friendly and the food was Fresh and flavoursome! Highly recommend!

Do not recommend at all unless you enjoy eating food off the floor. I accidentally dropped my pide on the floor Infront of the owner and she expected me to eat it, told me the floor was clean enough to eat off it (it definitely was not) and not want to replace or refund it.

Ordered 2 Gozlemes which I was charged $19 each and ended up with a dry 5 sliced Pide... on top of that when you asked for the lot on a kebab you would expect the lot. Would never ever come back. And don't ever expect me to recommend this place to anyone... so disappointed

Wow. Firstly, watched the lady move the kebab meat with her bare hand between two trays. Takes our order while kissing her hands then proceeds to make our kebabs with her bare hands, no gloves and hasn’t washed her hands... Walked out and through the kebabs in the bin.

THE.WORST.KEBAB I have ever had! The chips were cold and had a texture of being sitting in the rack and re heated in the fryer. The kebab itself was dry and the chicken had texture of canned tuna. I threw it out.. very very disappointed

$65 for 2 kababs, a mini snack pack and 3 waters. I assumed she got it wrong and I was getting "combos" but she handed me the 3 items (no combos) When I questioned the price she stated because I got cheese.

Terrible Kebab. Minimal filling. The kebab was really skinny. Asked for tabouleh and got a few leaves of parsley. It was cooked so long the lettuce turned into boiling hot slime.

Excellent fresh produce paired with dough made daily by the hands of the owner who is an absolute delight herself! Always a great experience and delicious food every time we go.
