I really wanted to go to a manager in person to leave a good review but couldn’t find him. Two of the lovely assistants in the shop couldn’t help me enough when I found a the last pair of size 7 sandals I liked that where damaged. The lady, she looked like she was in her early 20’s wearing a yellow lanyard, she was attending the fitting rooms. Promptly went and looked for a new pair for me. They didn’t have any and she offered me 10% off and a nice box for them, they didn’t have any boxes and she and the young gentleman on the till advised they will knock 20% off because they where not presented nicely. The young man on the till also went out of his way to tell me about a deal they have in the store and saved me more on my over all purchase!! Often only rude customers get this sort of help, but kindness was paid back with kindness in the store today. I usually feel really out of place in fashion stores but today was a really positive experience for me. I really wish I got these peoples names. Management please find these two and thank them for me.

What poor service .. First time shopping in a store for years and this is the service. No thanks I will stick to online shopping. So I go in to get a suit. Can't get the trousers in my size so I just buy a jacket anyway. I go to till for the server to walk off and then 3 of them are just stood there talking by some rails. I go over and then he walks in the opposite direction ... I walk after him shouting are you going to serve me and he says someone else will be over in a bit and walks off.. Fair enough I walk over to the till and someone else comes over. I ask the guy if I can buy a suit bag.. he says no I haven't brought a suit. I say yes because you don't have my size in trousers.He refuses to sell me a suit bag. I pay and he refuses to give me a paper receipt . Only way I can have a receipt is via email. I refuse to give my email so he won't give me a receipt! So I can not return the item.. what poor poor service

The store and clothes itself is ok. However, the staff is just unacceptable. Yesterday, on 11th of Dec, me and my girlfriend were looking for clothes for me. My girlfriend was literally just following me while I was looking at clothes. None of staff members tried to assist me or speak to me. That is okay. However, the staff/security gave my girlfriend looks. They came to my girlfriend three times, asking if she needs help and whether she is okay. That's the thing security does to shoplifters. My girlfriend does not look like thieve, wears good-looking clothes. Whilst there are dozens of guys wearing tracksuit, your staff came only to my girlfriend. I have high hopes the reason was not her skin colour, but it is so saddening that my girlfriend has to experience this. Please train your staff. Not sure whether we want to buy your clothes ever again.

Love this store and the staff are lovely. However, the security guard that was working on 12/2/23 was rude. He was following my daughters and mother around the shop like they were going to steal. This has never happen before. Normally we are greeted and bid farewell from whoever is on the door. I know that times are hard and he might think he is doing a great job. But he is not. This type of service makes me not want to return to spend my money and as a mother want to protect my children. This needs to stop. I thought it was just me until my mother challenged him and ensured nothing was going to bleep on the way out. Today was very disappointing. I then went to two other shops and it was a totally different experience. Fantastic service.

I used to love this shop as most of my wardrobe is from there but there style is going a little downward and becoming very limited. The shop floor space is very spacious and could do with a move around to make room for further lines of products. The staff on my last visit were very polite and helpful, they did inform me that the limited stock maybe due to a change in season items however but they are not told anything about that which really is a management problem as its the staff that are front line dealing with customer requests & therefor management should keep them fully updated so they can let customers know or better still produce a catalogue of current items in store and a part 2 that is due next season. Feedback please?

This bullring store has one of the worst management. They seriously need to learn how to do their jobs. They dont have a clue on how to run the shop. Theres one girl whos very skinny asian with big teeth who is constantly making me and my family feel uncomfortable. The way she spoke to my mum and refusing to help her. Also theres another staff manager a white male who is just horrific, the way he treats his employees is completly out of line. I dont know how people can work in this place. The management need serious training. I will never shop here again. I will be contacting the higher management regarding this

Bought some lovely outfits, really pleased. The stuff online goes out of stock so fast. The service was good today - the two ladies at the changing room. Had a bad experience before this time where a woman at the till refused to give me a refund or an exchange/credit for a jacket I purchased then realised it didn't have a belt. (She checked CCTV And noted that it was sold to me without the belt, in the week I purchased it.) The best she could give me was £10 off. I later saw the same jackets on sale for £30 (originally a £90 leather jacket) cheaper... so a bit salty still about that experience.

First class customer service received in store yesterday afternoon (7th October). Trying to find an outfit for my Daughter's birthday party and were taking armfuls of clothes in to the changing room when were offered the services of the stylists. Fabulous experience and came away with exactly the right outfit. The girl who originally suggested we use the stylists was also particularly helpful & pleasant. I am just sorry I didn't make a note of your names Ladies! Thank you.

This is a big store and the staff are very helpful if you need assistance for any reason but unfortunately for me as a very loyal customer of River Island I've been let down by the quality of their clothes on too many occasions now and for the price of some of their clothes i expect alot more from this brand. They've become very poorly made which i can't quite understand why but I have to be honest and they need to improve on their quality control

Our experiences with customer service at River Island have been inconsistent. While some staff have been nice and helpful in the past, our latest visit was uncomfortable. My partner encountered two very miserable faces when trying on clothes in the dressing room, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere. Consistency in service quality would greatly improve the overall shopping experience.

The layout of the store and the quality of clothing is great. Staff are friendly. However, they do lack in employees because queuing for such a long time can be tiring. It can just be 2 people in a que and it would take about 8 minutes to get served.. Also, they could do with more items in younger boys section. There aren’t enough compared to the girls and women’s in my opinion.

Terrible. No clothes selection that anyway over the age of 18 would wear! The clothes are all size 10 or below, so if you are a normal person and have curves do not bother shopping here. There are no staff around to ask questions to and litter all over the place....what is going on here? A zombie invasion...

Wait time too long especially on menswear. One staffmember tried to enforce me having an email receipt by turning his keyboard around for me to type my email highlighting that email receipt is better for the planet. I am well aware of this however a customer has a choice to have a paper receipt if they want.

A large River Island store with an excellent range of both women's and men's clothing. The staff here are all friendly and polite, offering top-class customer service. This store always has the latest clothing from the RI chain and has a large changing room area which is clean and tidy.

Went to the children s department. Fashion seems to miss the mark this year. Wanted birthday present for niece 11. Struggled to find anything. Skimpy clothes with strange patterns and materials. And then had to return half of it as she prefered Zara. Staff friendly.

Good choice of clothing. Petite section a little limited. But the real star of the show was Ellie, in the fitting rooms who ran around finding everything we asked of her with a smile. We did end up buying the stuff she located for us!

The men's sale is usually very good, but I'm sure that some of the things I've not seen before, certainly in this branch. We did get three coats this year, and they are great.
