This was my first time moving away from home, so I was quite emotional throughout the move. I decided to use professional movers and went with Roadway because I had heard such great things about them. I can’t even begin to express how grateful I was that they offered packing and unpacking services because I’ve been planning my wedding that’s in 2 months, and unfortunately, I had no time to pack. So, I was extremely stressed about the move. Richard and the team arrived promptly at 9:30 AM and began helping me pack everything. They made sure I never had to lift a finger and just asked me what was coming with me and what wasn’t. In a few hours, they packed everything in my kitchen, bedroom, and living room. Let me just say, you really don’t know how much stuff you have until you move! When we arrived at the new apartment, the team unrolled carpet to protect the floors and wore booties inside to keep it dirt free. The began unpacking the boxes and took all the trash and empty boxes back into the truck so that I didn’t have to deal with them. They unpacked everything on a flat surface for me to reorganize later. I was most worried about the ceramics, but Daisy made sure to wrap everything carefully, and it all arrived intact. Even at this very moment, I am so impressed that the team was able to pack and unpack everything in a day's time that would have taken me WEEKS to do. I’m very grateful for their positive attitude while packing everything as if it were their own belongings and would recommend others to use Roadway as well.

I used Roadway for a move out of NYC to New Jersey, and I was definitely anxious about my first interstate move. Luckily, Roadway made the process super seamless. They showed up and moved out over 30 pre-packed boxes in less than 20 minutes, plus they wrapped all my furniture with care, including three mirrors, a couch and a ton of framed art I worried may be at risk during the move. Turns out, I had no reason to worry at all! The lovely team assured me everything would be safe, and it was. They got to my apartment in record time and moved everything in in the blink of an eye. I’d assumed they’d just plop down the boxes and leave, having fulfilled their duties, but they stayed and made sure I was one hundred percent happy with my furniture placement, even offering to help build my bed while we waited for a final rug to be delivered! I can’t thank the team enough for being so lovely, and for making a sometimes-stressful process seem like a breeze. Rather than worry, I was able to spend the day excited about a fresh start in my new space, and for that I’ve got my Roadway crew to thank.

I used Roadway Movers this past weekend and had an incredible (and quick!) moving experience. This is my 7th move in NYC and my 1st time using movers. We don’t know where our next apartment is going to be so we are moving everything into a storage unit with Roadway Moving. My biggest fear with movers is that our stuff would break or get lost but as soon as Roadway Movers got here they carefully went to work. I even had an Urban Outfitters coffee table (my first big girl apartment purchase) packed & it was wrapped so well I feel like I could drop this off the Empire State Building and she’d be fine! I love that every box has it's own tracking label so I am able to know exactly where all of my items are. The Roadway Team finished everything so quickly and with such care...I think they were done with our entire 3 bedroom apartment within 3 hours! I would 100% recommend and will be using them again in the future. So worth it!! Also, they were incredible with my pup :)

I want to express my gratitude to Roadway Movers for providing the best moving service I have ever experienced. Without their help, this move would not have been possible. Despite the challenges of an 80-degree day and a broken elevator, the workers managed to move everything from my wife and I's apartment down six flights of stairs. I was worried that the bed, couch, and entertainment center would not fit through the door, but they wrapped everything up nicely and were able to get everything through without a scratch or tear. They even provided boxes for our wardrobe. Throughout the entire process, the workers never once complained. I made sure to provide them with food, drinks, and a tip for their hard work. They even unpacked the larger items in our new apartment, including assembling the bed and exercise bike. If you need moving services, I highly recommend using Roadway Moving for their exceptional service.

This was my first time using professional movers and Roadway Moving made the experience seamless! Living in a 3 floor walk-up in NYC, self-moving in the past took an entire day, while Roadway Moving worked so efficiently, they were done the entire move before noon. We packed our clothes and small items ourselves prior to moving day but Roadway Moving did the rest - carefully wrapping our furniture, Frame TV, and disassembling and re-assembling our bed frame with their own tools. Everything arrived safely and with no damage! We have two small dogs and the team made our pups feel safe and gave us more time to tend to them during a process that can be scary to two small Italian greyhounds. In the new apartment they helped place every box in the correct area which has already made unpacking an easier task! Can't recommend this service enough and will definitely be using Roadway Moving for our future moves!

I’ve never used a moving company before Roadway but there’s no going back now. You need this service! My Roadway team led by Jesus was early and communicated with me so well about getting set up. I underestimated how much I had, but the team was super accommodating with extra boxes and helping me pack and wrap a few last-minute things. A lot of my items are vintage + fragile and they took *such* good care of packing them up and ensuring a safe delivery. Even my plants, which I really appreciated. I couldn’t believe how fast the team was and we got all of my items moved out in an hour and a half, with the total move only taking 4 hours. As a single woman who also isn’t super handy, I appreciated that Jesus and his team set up my TV for me and also my bed. Thank you Roadway Moving for helping my move go smoothly and with MUCH less stress!

First time using professional movers and Roadway Moving set my standards up very high! They made my move so easy and stress-free, I couldn't recommend them enough! The crew was extremely considerate, and kind, which helped me feel much more comfortable sitting back while watching them work so hard. I packed all my things into boxes ahead of time and they took care of the rest (bringing boxes down, loading them into the truck, disassembling my mirrors, TV, bed and sofa and packing everything before also loading into the truck, brining all my things up to my new apartment and putting my couch back together). Once we were at my new apartment, they kindly asked where we'd like certain things placed so that we wouldn't have to move heavy boxes or furniture around on our own (which was so thoughtful). Overall, 10/10 experience!

I had never used a professional moving service before so I didn't know what to expect. When I first called they told me that all I needed to do was open the door to let them in and they'd do the rest....well that's exactly what happened. Our movers arrived on time and once I opened the door I literally didn't have to do anything else. They were fast yet efficient. Everything was packed carefully and labeled precisely. When arriving to my new place they placed each box in its appropriate room and set up my bed and assembled anything else they had disassembled to move. This was the most seamless move I've ever had. Although I hope I don't have to move again anytime soon, I'm almost looking forward to it so I can work with Roadway again! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Having moved over 6 times in the last 7 years, I've learned to expect the worst from moving companies. However, Roadway did not disappoint!! Not only did they arrive at the time they said they would, everything went smoothly and was handled with care. Having some cheaper furniture pieces, I was worried how they would hold up during the move, but the packers actually wrapped each piece of furniture in cardboard, plastic, etc. before putting it in a box. Then everything was unwrapped, put back together, and in one piece when they delivered! Seriously impressed. Prices are competitive and they gave us peace of mind during our out-of-state move!

This was my second move in jersey city. Going from garden level to a walk up with a ton of fragile furniture, I was nervous who to hire to do the job. This is my first time using Roadway and I'm really impressed. I was moving from Long Island back to NYC and the team was really responsive, communicative and provided me all the details I needed for the move. I hired Roadway movers to move our things into a storage unit while we wait for closing on our new home. The movers were early, professional and so kind! They wrapped our couches, beds, dressers and even boxed our TV’s and artificial plants. They were careful and forward thinking about all our fragile items like our peloton bike. Supplies were provided if needed. They moved all our things into the unit in just a few hours. This would have taken us weeks! So happy to have had them during such a stressful process!

Had the MOST INCREDIBLE experience with Roadway. I was so stressed about moving, especially living on a 6th floor walk up. Roadway packed everything (including clothing, kitchenware and miscellaneous items) and I did not have to do anything myself. They also did this in about 6 hours which wow’d me. They also added barcodes to all of my items that they put in storage, so I could easily find my things when taking the inventory out of storage. Such a legitimate moving company that I will use from now on.

Roadway Moving made my move so easy! They arrived at 8AM and packed everything in my apartment in just 2 hours. I thought it would take much longer but the move went quicker than I thought.
