We came for our end of year work function and enjoyed the banquet served shared style. The staff were warm and hospitable, and we were tucked away in a rustic exposed brick room away from the other diners. To start we enjoyed the dough of the day with prosciutto crudo di parma - salisiccia sarda. Rosmarino were considerate of dietaries and those non-gluten non-pork eaters enjoyed a cheese plate. For entrees we had burratona (opera burrata- truffle & honey abbamele) which was divine, but may have been better paired with the starter bread. This was accompanied by beef tartare (raw beef - garlic - cornichons - potato anchovy foam - rice chip), which was so beautifully presented it could have been mistaken for a sweet dessert dish! For pasta there were two selections, a fusilli (spirals - prawn - guanciale - garlic chilli - preserved lemon - crumb) and a risotto verde (riserva san massimo rice - fresh pesto - goat cheese - stracciatella - olasgati anchovies - pine nuts - potato - snow peas - mint oil). The main was the absolute winner of the meal and one I would visit Rosmarino for again - the steak al cioccolato (white chocolate cured - black anchovy sauce - red capsicum - basil). The flavour palette was next to none, it kept you wanting more, no doubt attributed to the white chocolate cured angle adopted. If this is all you order, you won’t leave disappointed. The sides were patate (triple cooked potatoes - anchovy - garlic - rosemary), broccolini (pan fried - mortadella - lemon preserve) and insalata (radicchio salad - walnut - goat cheese dressing). All flavoursome in their own right, and when shading, respectably sized for a bite or two! Last but not least, as if we still had room in our stomachs, was the deconstructed cheesecake (mouthwatering!) and chef dario’s macinamisù (tiramisu with a twist). The feast was a great way to celebrate with colleagues and reasonably priced. The staff were accommodating of our wine budget and selected beautifully paired reds for our meal. Recommend highly.

Rosmarino has a beautiful sophisticated setting that makes you feel like you could be anywhere else but Brisbane. A heritage vibe with a lovely classy classic fit-out. Half way through a bottle of exceptional Etna and some good conversation, I had to remind myself I was not in London. What was even nicer was the comfort level and seating, with good use of space and table arrangements. Rosmarino has a very consistent room temperature with no breeze or over-heating like so many places suffer from. It was extremely relaxing and I find this to be paramount for a good dining experience. Rosmarino provide candid friendly service with a professional Italian touch. They are a young but extremely professional team with a lively enthusiastic energy about everything they do. They engage you well and with authentic smiles that tell you they know what they are doing. The wine list is extensive with good variety focusing on Italian styles and very well priced for what was on offer. A well thought out range of options with quality drinking in mind for wine buffs or the wine amateur. Rosmarino boasts a very good wine bar at the front of the premises with amazing Pane, Salumi and Formaggi as-well as some playful Negroni choices to top off a good custom cocktail list. Walk-Ins only, I love it. The main menu food was superb and interesting all at the same time. From the Tartare, Crudo and Caprese to the dry aged Duck, rolled Lamb and aged Steak, the presentation was spot on. Far from pretentious the dishes are very delightful to the eye with incredibly good flavours. Unique dishes like Culurgiones and the Dry Aged White Chocolate Steak make this restaurant unique in their approach for Brisbane's food scene. I dine everywhere, all the time. I am seldom impressed and rarely part with money so easily as I did with Rosmarino. The entire ensemble of fit-out, service, comfort, wine, food and climate makes for an award winning restaurant. I will be back to support this team and their endeavours with on a regular basis. Bravo Team Rosmarino.

Ooooffftt that duck it would be extremely unwise (with a capital u) to not order their duck. In fact I regret not ordering two. It’s so good that I can see myself coming back at least 2-5 times yearly to satisfy quarterly duck cravings. Legit better than some of the duck I had in famous Paris restaurants like WOW- THAT DUCK. Rosmarino is definitely not a restaurant that you will experience just once and be like “yeahh it was alright, but been there done that I want to try other restaurants now” for this DUCK ALONE (for me anyways). Moving on- the Wagyu was beautiful- would easily reorder this. Pastas were delicious and good well balanced flavours (tho tbh the serving sizes are so small). I really enjoyed the culurgiones and the green sauce thing that went with it- wish I ordered more of this. Squid ink pasta was delicious. The other seafood pasta I forgot about it was probs the only average thing we got. Prosciutto on the crispy chickpea waffles were so delicious. Their house sourdough was so soft it was really delicious. I forgot to mention but the triple fried potatoes you would actually be pretty silly to not order like at least one serving for per 2-3 people on your table. BEST POTATOES EVER. This is coming from someone who will definitely order potatoes (and all the potato dishes) at every restaurant which has potatoes on the menu because it’s a good way to tell how much they actually care about everything that goes on the table- even potatoes. Rosmarino not only passes the ‘potato test’ but they’re leading the scoreboard with Honto’s fancy bottarga potato hash a close second. Also worth mentioning is that all our cocktails sucked sorry. But this can easily be improved. In conclusion- must orders are duck, potatoes, wagyu, culurgiones, prosciutto, bread in that order of priority.

When it’s meant to be and paths do cross, magic happens. And so it was on the Saturday, the 18th of November. We booked for a long lunch and were welcomed by the gorgeous Justine. Her parents have a background in patisserie and restaurants. Originally from Strasbourgh in the Alsace, but 17 years living in Australia and a partner from an Italian background give her a solid formation in the vera cucina Italiana. The menu had great options for us pescetarians and we chose an Etna white wine with a farinata to start our experience. The farinata is a delicious morsel and great antipasto. After this we shared plates. Gnocchi mussels arrabbiata first and taglioni ai gamberi next. The last dish came in a bisque and parsley oil sauce. The gnocchi in a tomato sauce with chili oil. We needed a serving of house made sourdough to mop up the sauce. Simply too good to leave on the plate. For mains we shared the coral trout which was pan fried and cured in salt and sugar. The puffed sorghum was a pleasant surprise and made the presentation sensational. For dolci we had the macinamisu, kind of a tiramisu but based on macina biscuits., green apple nan basil sorbet and raspberry and lime sorbet. To complement these we chose the Paul Kubler Grand Cru VT Pinot Gris and the Domaine des Sablonnettes Chenin Blanc. Both were delicious, with the Alsace wine the nipt winner. We were never rushed and spent 21/2 hours at our table. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Today we’re going to their sister venue Etna. I’m sure we will not be disappointed. XO

Agnes cancelled our intimate wedding lunch 2-weeks before the day, and I'm so glad they did. My new favourite restaurant in Brisbane. We booked the courtyard at Rosmarino for 12 adults and 5 children (incl. 2 under 2) and I could not have asked for a more perfect day. 1. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. 10/10. We have some very active toddlers who were very happy with the food, were free to roam the courtyard and had a solid 2.5hr nap while we ate. 2. The food was spectacular. Seasonal produce with a huge amount of variety and technique (we ordered the banquet). 3. The service was impeccable, and friendly. We honestly felt like we were treated like family. We even had a guest "add" an "allergy" last minute and they were extremely accommodating. 4. The wine list is next level. Mostly Euro with great regional variety and although a lot of it is pricey, its' complexity definitely matches the quality of the menu. The table worked their way through several bottles of the ~$80 champagne and it was a highlight - matched with every dish that came out. Would highly recommend Rosmarino for a family lunch or special evening, and Etna for a weeknight treat or long lunch over a Saturday/Sunday.

Where to start? The atmosphere of the restaurant is amazing and very nice. The food we chose a la carte and was very good, scallops was a very interesting dish, something I've never had before! Loved the culurgiones (sardinian ravioli) and the wagu steak. Also had the tagliolini ai gamberi was nice in flavour but would have been nice to have whole prawns in the dish, not chopped up prawn. I liked the coral trout but could have done something more to the dish as it was a bit bland. The macinamisú was a bit of a letdown to the meal as was very basic for $19, and while i understand that egg is used to make the zabaione, the whole dish was over powered by the taste. Service was very good, extremely attentive, and the wine list is like a bible. Will definitely come back again to try some different wines in the future. It's definitely a venue to revisit for a special occasion.

Had the most perfect date night at Rosmarino. We were super excited to try out this restaurant and it exceeded all our expectations - the food, service and ambience were faultless. We had the sourdough, farinata pomodoro & prosciutto (which we ordered two servings because it blew our tastebuds!), pappardelle all’anatra, steak al cioccolato, broccolini, patate and tiramisu. Everything was flavoursome, balanced and delicious - highlights were definitely the succulent wagyu steak and the incredibly decadent tiramisu. The restaurant itself is situated in a beautifully modern but homey space with amazing vibes. We were so lucky to be attended by Matteo, who was super warm, welcoming and fun the whole night. He made our dining experience unforgettable! Rosmarino has got to be our favourite restaurant in Brisbane and I won’t stop raving about it for a long while!

Went here with husband on a week night for a belated anniversary dinner after making an online reservation ahead of time. We chose the degustation, which was faultless. All dishes were thoughtful, well-executed and well-balanced in terms of flavours and textures. Standouts include the coral trout with it's crispy skin and puffed sorghum accompaniment, as well as the wagyu 9+ which was silky with a subtle touch of sweetness from the white chocolate curing and balanced with a rich anchovy sauce. There was a great selection of wines per the glass. Service was friendly and efficient. Table was cleaned and all cutlery changed between each course. Smart casual ambience. Paid private or street parking available nearby. Prices on the higher end. Overall, a wonderful dining experience for a special occasion.

I organised a group booking here for 15 people for a hen's night. FYI group bookings of a certain number must get the banquet. We chose the $99/ per person option. The restaurant was very responsive and made me feel at ease by answering any questions I had. They maintained this level of communication leading up to the night of the booking by email and phone. A deposit had to be paid to secure the booking. I got the venue to print a special message on the menu for the bride to be, which was a nice touch. I rated all of the dishes. Each was beautifully presented. This restaurant would be suitable for a special occasion and is priced accordingly. Quite possibly the best Italian I've been to.

I recently celebrated my birthday with a delightful lunch at a restaurant with my fiancé, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The service was impeccable, and our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu, making great recommendations for our meal and wine pairings. From the appetizer to the main course, everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. The flavors were outstanding and combined in a way that was both unique and complementary. Best desert in Brisbane! Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable experience. The combination of delicious food, attentive service, and inviting atmosphere made it the perfect place to celebrate my special day with my fiancé.

My husband's 60th birthday dinner was held at Rosmarino last night and it was an amazing night. We booked out the Courtyard, and had the set menu. The menu was delicious and the courtyard looked beautiful. Our excellent waitstaff, Scarlett, looked after us perfectly, seeing to our every need, and the restaurant catered to our different dietary requirements. Beautiful setting, gorgeous food and delicious Italian wine and cocktails....who could ask for more. I'd highly recommend this restaurant for a fine dining date night or larger function.

Sensational! We went for lunch and it did not disappoint. The venue is beautiful and rustic with exposed brick walls and stunning natural light. Perfect for a date location or group of friends. The food was delicate and well balanced, bringing traditional Italian dishes in with a modern, fine dining twist. The wine list is extensive with some fantastic gems on there that can cater from reasonable prices to more luxurious. Not to mention a very well made cocktail. Service was friendly and conversational whilst maintaining that professional and informative tone of any great fine dining restaurant. Alvaro was our waiter and he absolutely nailed the brief. Couldn’t recommend more highly and can’t wait to go back!!

We had a great time, good looks great but I wouldn’t say the food was that good comparing to all the cuisine around here. We also felt too much push from waitress we know they are working and trying to sell more stuff but it was pushy. I actually came home sick thinking it might be the wine since it was extra acidic so had a severe stomach ache. Probably not the food. Didn’t really like the broccoli at all the sauce did not match. The bruschetta was unique and sweet. Might be worth a try but all three of us weren’t that happy.

My partner and I went here to celebrate my birthday and from the moment we went in, the staff made sure they got our dietary requirements correct. The customer service throughout the night was on point, they always refilled our water glasses straightaway and gave us enough time to eat before asking us how the food was. We ordered Steak Al Cioccolato, Fusilli Ai Gamberi, local sourdough, Panzanella Scallops and patate. Everything tasted lovely but the standout was the steak. The only word I could use to describe it is: divine. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

Booked a table for 6 for a little Merry Friendsmas gathering last December and was genuinely impressed with all the small details that came with the night! We had a custom menu tailored for our group with various dietary requirements (thank you Team Rosmarino for being so considerate and accommodating!) and loved the little detail they made on our individually printed menus. Food was amazing! Our server for the night, Alvaro, was very friendly and charming. Definitely nailed the mood setting and rustic Italian vibes with the bare brick walls in this beautiful space. The service in this restaurant is of another level, we had dinner in the courtyard and chose our own dishes from the menu, Mateo also proposed some small starters which were absolutely fabulous. I asked for a wine pairing with my main dish and I was even allowed to taste two wines, the pairings were beautiful and brought out the best flavours of the dish. I would like to thank Mateo for providing us with a wonderful evening and the best hospitality we have seen so far in Australia

My wife and I were taken here by our friends who are Brisbane locals. What a great restaurant! One of the most extensive wine lists I've seen (bottle prices are on the high side), the glass of nebbiolo I had was absolutely delicious. Justine's service was fantastic! I was seriously impressed with every aspect of our experience at Rosmarino. The only slight challenge I would make is the price point of the snack menu, that felt a little over priced. The execution of the menu was brilliant, too many times we go to expensive restaurants where you walk away disappointed, however this is one of the rare occasions where I was left feeling excited after the dinner. Absolutely divine fine dining with generous proportions. The dining experience here was magnificent. It is pricey however we did enjoy a smooth bottle of Italian wine. Worth a visit. More
