I booked an appointment the person absconded from work who was supposed to do my nails. The manager then fitted me in. But the nail work was not good. The one toe chipped after 2 days. The baby toe gel broke on the side. Rvd said I would have a gel appointment for free for the inconvenience. So when I booked again. I had an emergency and could not attend which I informed them. When I sent them a message before 6 January 2023 for a new appointment I have not received a response to date. So bad workmanship and customer service. I will be going elsewhere.

Was did by a trainer which I decided to take, wonderful conversations, nice ladies very accomodating. 1 week later my gel toes came out. I stress of addressing the I was told I have nail infection. From there was contacted and it escalated to wanting to "recruit" employees to my normal nail salon. So from being told I'm not well nail infection now it's me recruiting. Mind you I only find out they know my nail salon through the trainee and nail techs there. Owner is very good and does not want to be accountable for anything, very rude as well.

Absolutely ridiculous service. I booked more than 2 weeks ago clearly stating Hillcrest branch. I was giving a time and thing. I come today for my appointment and was told I booked at the Queensburgh branch. That was the only number I had for them and have previously booked on that number for Hillcrest. Extremely ridiculous it’s festive session. I drove from Westville all the way here. Would not take accountability that they made a mistake and it wasn’t my fault. If I had to book on a different number I should have been informed of that.

It does take awhile per person (budget an +/- hr for your nails) and it's really difficult to get an appointment but it is of excellent quality. Edit: second visit here and was dissappointed this time around. Girls didn't listen to what I wanted on my nails and the price for gel overlays was shocking. Not to mention the sarcastic comment when one of the ladies who I booked for didn't pitch - that's not the way you treat customers ladies.

Very good job. Helpful with choosing colours and nail designs. Friendly. Most of them are skilled. They use a machine to remove the gel which is hard to find in south africa. The only bad comment I have is they do toes under the table on their laps which never gets it looking perfect and is very uncomfortable. But for hands I would go there every time

Excellent service and efficient staff that understand the nail grooming business. I would recommend them for well sculpted nails in acrylic or gel. Clean set up with ample workstations, it is important to book appointments in advance and they are busy. Ample free parking. Situated above John Dorys. The online booking system is also convenient.

Great experience every time I go there!! Friendly most experienced staff members I ever seen!! You can show them any picture and always with a smile deliver exactly the same result on your nails!! I’m a client now for more then 5 years and I will never go somewhere else RVD is the best!!
