I recently visited a really amazing aquarium and I couldn't wait to share my experience with you. Trust me, it's definitely worth a visit if you're ever in the area! Upon entering the aquarium, I was immediately captivated by the vibrant colors and the lively atmosphere. The place was teeming with a variety of marine life, from the smallest clownfish to the majestic sea turtles. The beautiful displays and well-maintained tanks truly showcased the wonders of the underwater world. One of the highlights of my visit was the breathtaking underwater tunnel. Walking through it felt like diving into another dimension. I was surrounded by mesmerizing schools of fish of all shapes and sizes, gracefully gliding above me. It was a surreal experience, as if I was actually swimming alongside them. I even spotted a few stingrays gracefully gliding by! What really impressed me about this aquarium was their commitment to conservation and education. They had informative signs and interactive exhibits, teaching visitors about the importance of protecting marine life and preserving their habitats. It was truly heartwarming to see the effort put into raising awareness and inspiring the next generation of marine enthusiasts. If you're a fan of marine mammals, you'll be delighted to know that there were even dolphins and seals performing in their own designated areas. It was a joy watching them exhibit their natural behaviors and tricks. They seemed happy and well taken care of, which was a relief to see. The aquarium also had a great café with a panoramic view of the ocean, where I enjoyed a delicious meal while taking in the breathtaking scenery. It was the perfect way to relax and soak in the overall experience. In conclusion, visiting this aquarium was an absolute delight. It's a place that clearly cares about the well-being of the animals and the education of its visitors. I highly recommend checking it out if you have the chance. I guarantee you won't be disappointed! I hope you found this information helpful, and I truly hope you're able to visit this remarkable aquarium soon. Let me know if you have any questions or need any more details. I'd be more than happy to help. Take care and talk to you soon!

As the weather didn't encourage spending time along the riverwalk, this aquarium in it's mall basement location provided an escape from the weather. I did my research and found a discount. Military and local resident discounts available. The tanks are premium quality in design and cleanliness, animals did not appear stressed or ill. Most of the tanks are fully visible to a tall walking toddler. They all have a small tablet sized screen where you can view information about the animals on display. I would prefer a more visible static information panel as some of the displays were around the corner from the tank or in use as they can only be used by one individual at a time. I disliked that many of the exhibits lacked a simple point of reference to know what you're looking at as I watched many unknowingly look over the main animal of the exhibit because they didn't know it was there. Additionally the octopus was a difficult animal to find in the especially dark exhibit and could greatly benefit from a photo reference or how to find panel. I really enjoyed the sting rays as well as the tunnel aquarium. We lucked out and got to see the sting rays during feeding time. The SEA LIFE associate feeding shared information about the animals that I wish was displayed more accessibly. I was a little sad to not see a jellyfish during the visit, but that's not why I placed 4 star review. I feel that the location could provide a better education delivery or have a floating educating associate to share more info about the animals/tanks. Perhaps if I knew more about what I was viewing the price point wouldn't feel so high. for example I wasn't informed about the only sea turtle till after I had passed it.

I thoroughly enjoyed our visit at SeaLife. I expected it to be "at" the shops. Not in the shops. The parking garage is attached, and it is clearly posted, "Hide valuables and lock your car." It was my first experience with a parking garage smelling like urine. That aside...I made my way into the shops/mall. There was a big sign stating SeaLife in this direction. It could be overwhelming with first time visit. Never visited the area or the attraction before and the website said at the shops. Depending on your interpretation... would give a different perspective. You can pay for parking inside the shops by kiosk, garage, or by QR code app. I purchased our ticket ahead of time. 2 and under are free. Local residents get a discounted rate online. The bathrooms are by the entrance of SeaLife and you have to take an elevator to see the exhibits. They have a nursing room and adult changing room and separate family bathroom. The exhibits are adorable. I think it makes great use of the space available. They have QR scans throughout the exhibits on different topics. We did not touch the star fish. I feel that my older children may not have been super happy. However, for myself and under two. It was perfect. Indoors, clean, working air conditioning, small play area at the end. In the beginning of the attraction, they take your picture. You can purchase your photo just before the gift shop. Inside the gift shop there are small toys, stuffed animals, magnets and some clothes and accessories.

A very nice, cool atmosphere Aquarium. Great place for young children, teens or even adults..we took our Grandsons here at part of thier Birthday adventure day and they loved it. Ages 2 and 3 1/2, anything that can captivate thier attention for more then a few minutes is a welcome relief and this place fit the bill. Staff were all friendly and very helpful answering questions and providing general information about the different exhibits. The group and family VIP picture packages were nice and reasonably priced as well with several really cool filters to choose from. We got jelly fish on one and Stingrays on the other. All the tanks and fish were very vibrantly colored and the different fish and sea creatures were really neat in the way they were presented. (You can turn the Jellyfish tank different colors to reflect their different Bioluminescence. The Sharks and Stingrays were super cool too. They even had several dragon fish and moray eels. A very cool souvenir shop waits at the end full of cool stuff to buy for you sea creature minded children to complete the day. Even the largest stuffed Shark was reasonably priced at under $25.

Hidden treasure hidden inside the facade of a mall. This place was breath taking! Soft and soothing ambience lifted you off your feet as if you were floating through the tunnels with the sea life. Every twist and turn through the pathway was more exciting and revealing than the last. The fish, sharks, sea rays, were unbelievably beautiful and seems as if they enjoyed people being around. They would come close to glass, do a little twist and turn, and allow you to get a glimpse fins and face. There is also a hands on portion on the second floor as well as a kids playground, and a gift shop. What a fun, friendly place for people of all ages. A must stop in and experience place if you are in San Antonio. Helpful review? If so, tap the helpful tab and let me k ow how I’m doing. Like and share my pics and videos with friends and fam when you can. Don’t miss out on this amazing place, get your fish on, yeah!

Sea Life was nice. I enjoyed seeing all the fish and other sea creatures. You get to pet star fish and some other underwater creatures (no stingrays). There's a water tunnel you walk through, but it's not super impressive. Nothing like the Georgia Aquarium, but then again, this one is inside a mall. I didn't think it was worth the $20.99 I paid ($20.99 per adult and child. We thought the child would be cheaper, but he wasn't). They have a special price for San Antonio residents, which is what I paid. Besides the regular restrooms, there's a family restroom, an adult changing room, and a nursing room, which I liked, because it's all inclusive. It's also right next to LEGO Land. At the end of the walk through, there's a playground for kids to play on. I won't go back unless I really need to because I didn't think it was worth the price.

Very nice aquarium! It's not very big, buy its very nice! I would honestly say it's not worth the price unless you get the combo pack with both Sea Life and Lego Discovery Center. You'll be spending about $20 for each place and it's worth that amount. The children price is the same as the adult price and one should be less, either the adult or the child. Since it's in downtown is probably why the price is $24.99 pp, but other than the price we enjoyed ourselves and would recommend if you have children under 10. There were mermaids in the spring, but i wish they were in the summer instead. There's all kind of different fish and a walk through tunnel and they upstairs where you can see where you just walked from! Pretty cool! At the end there's a play area for the kids. The staff was very friendly and informative.

I purchased these tickets as a package deal with Legoland and was really happy that I did. I was also impressed when the professional at the desk refunded my money for another person in our party who was unable to attend due to illness. What's great about Sea Life is that most of the fish creatures are rescued. One of the staff members stayed to teach us about the octopus and her mannerisms. They were enthusiastic and excited. My suggestion is to go to Legoland (with all of the chaos upstairs) and then head down to Sea Life for some calmer vibes with nature. My son really enjoyed playing on the indoor playground after touring the exhibit. Worth the money spent!

I was visiting from California with my family. Wanted them to sea a sea turtle in person. They advertised a turtle named Guacamole everywhere. The first disappointment was the group photo that was a great photo, but it cut off my nephews head, the photographer even checked to make sure the pictures turned out before giving us the ticket. The second and most important disappointment was the fact that I did not see a sea turtle in any of the tanks. We hesitated at every tank waiting and nothing. For the price of $39.99 per person (and we had 6 adults and 3 kids), they should have it very obvious where the turtle is and actually have a turtle.

Amazing experience for such a great price! I couldn’t believe the variety of interesting fish and creatures they had. The staff were super knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming! I definitely recommend planning ahead for parking and walking into the exhibit if you have small kids or are mobility impaired, the signage in the mall took us the long way around the building in the heat. We will definitely be back!

The workers were really friendly, but I don't think it was worth the money. It took us about 15 minutes to get through the whole aquarium. It was pretty sad, to be honest, there was only 1 sea turtle in the tank and it seemed very sick. At least sick enough for my group to realize that it seemed very out of it. I just hope it gets the care it needs before it's too late!

Fantastic little aquarium that's very educational for little ones and adults alike! My kids enjoyed seeing all the different aquatic life and even getting to pet some aswell! The staff was friendly and the aquarium was very clean! The returnable factor can maybe be kinda low when comparing it to other aquariums in the area; however, it's getting its start and hopefully is able to expand more! Definitely recommend if your just visiting the alamo city or a resident with little ones!

Very cute aquarium located in the River Center Shop on the Riverwalk. Very satisfied with the aquarium. Very clean aquariums and colorful. Also had a little discovery area. A lot of ocean life to see. If you buy tickets online, you will save a little and can also bundle with leggoland. Also had Military rate, but not sure if it's all the time or holidays only.

My Daughter and I visited Sea Life for the first time on Sunday. It was so fantastic to see the beautiful fish in their clean tanks! It is such an impressive, relaxing, and well-planned environment. We walked through several times to look and then to take photos. There is so much to see if you take your time. It was a wonderful experience. All of staff were knowledgeable and friendly. We will visit again!

Easily the best Aquarium in San Antonio. The aquarium is a tad bit smaller than I'm used to, I'm hoping they expand since it's got alot of educational features and a nice layout for viewing the aquatic life. I took my 2 year old here and he loved it. I'd definitely recommend this as a nice place to visit if you have a spare hour or 2 and want something to do in the downtown area.

  • Erin D

We really enjoyed this aquarium. Everything is clean and animals look well cared for . It's small but ideal for young kids. The walk through was peaceful and quiet with plenty of places to stop & sit . *Wheelchair accessible

Small aquarium but they make due with what they have. Plenty of fish to see and explore. Every single one of the staff members were knowledgeable about the aquarium and they all seemed to be in a great mood, it really made the experience that much better. Would recommend.

This place is not only for kids, we loved the learning and my husband felt in love with the mermaid. Its great for kids and adults to learn about different fishes, turtles, etc. They have military discount which is a plus, and they have Spanish speaking staff, redes, food court and lego class

  • Hawaiian Punch

Kids loved it !! Did the Lego land last time so decided to do sea life this time !! Staff does a good job of keeping you informed on what’s going on and what each fish is !! Very professional and knowledgeable staff!! Would definitely recommend this for anyone that has kids and or loves fish

  • Christine Gamez

Much cooler than I expected it to be. The kids loved it and spent hours enjoying the underwater views. The staff is great for the most part and did a good job of educating and answering questions. There is even an interactive touch tank at the end. I would absolutely recommend.

  • willy whisman

Pretty small. I understand location but for the small size the price seemed high. The small area for the kids to actually touch things most was closed off and there wasnt much. Most of it seemed repetitive. The place was clean and everything looked great but....

  • James Coyle

This place is really cool. We did the BTS add on it was awesome. My 8 yo loved every second. We like going to aquariums whenever we get the chance, so I was worried this was gonna be a let down for the price but it's not. Definitely worth the cost.

  • Makayla McDowell

We decided to go here since my daughter has never been to the zoo or the aquarium before. It wasn't too small or too big of a walk through and it wasn't crowded at all. I like that they had a system to let a certain amount of people in at a

Its a 3 because of the employees. This is really a little kids kind of thing but i would have given it 5 stars still. I initially went for LegoLand but the girl says, "We ran out of Legos. " i said, "i don't know what that means. " She just

This place was so cute! Went durning a week day so it was not crowed at all. It took us about 20-25 mins to actually get through the whole attraction. It’s almost like an underground tunnel you walk through and see the all the water life.

  • Alisha Snowden

Recently moved to San Antonio from WI and was excited to see sea life was here. Visited the mall of America location and loved it. This location was a bit of a let down. We finished in about 30 min. Nothing too exciting. Tanks were dusty

What a great addition to the downtown area. We are from WI here visiting family. It is a little over priced for the size of the aquarium in my opinion but it was nice. The tanks were very clean. The gift shop had reasonable prices.

If you have smaller children I would definitely recommend taking them to Sea Life! My two enjoyed it so much! Also they have a small indoor playground, along with a small gift shop! So many beautiful fishy’s to see!

Very cool aquarium, especially when you walk through the tunnel where you are surrounded by marine life. I enjoyed my visit here, I do think the price was pretty steep for what you get though.
