Andrea was very helpful - 5 stars! There was a guy in this Sephora team - who was rude, sarcastic and shaming. I went in with full make up on to buy Tarte Shape Tape concealer and Fenty Bronzer so naturally I was going to try on a few shades. I requested him for a beauty blender and he gave me sponge (some rules)… No problem until here. Now comes the downside. He says” no one does full face make up here so you don’t need a beauty blender” I said” don’t people try on before they buy !?” He said “ yeah! Not full face” he assumed I was doing a full face make up!! AND I WAS NOT. So “don’t they use a blender when they try?, even if it is one side !?!?!?“ Firstly, I never did full face make up at Sephora but if you know, a bronzer needs to be blend in. Makeup 101- How can he ridicule us for things we haven’t even done. You can’t just walk out with streaks and stripes! You need to blend your makeup even trial makeup - this is so basic. I really wish to voice out this passive aggressive sarcastic rude behavior so one one has to experience it again!!! Deeply regret spending $74.xx at this store. poor reception and ridiculous behavior.

Tips: I would recommend if you looking for something specific, order it online and use their "reserve & pick up" option. You can skip the line and the pick up is right outside where the staff is at. Super convenient! Pro: Compact store with plenty of parkings and you can jet in and out without having to go through the mall (westfield Valley Fair) or looking for parking at Santana Row. (These are the other closest Sephora locations) Con: Inventory may be limited due to store capacity. I was interested in two items on the shelves but they were out of stock at this location. I have came here a few times since opening and have positive experience. They have a queue on the side of the store and staff member at the door to tell you some basic rules of trying things on during covid. Because of the limited capacity during covid, the store is very empty and allows you to shop comfortably. The staff I encountered with were all very helpful and takes their time to help you and assisting you finding the right products.

My college-going daughter and I purchased several makeups there and we were greeted warmly and the shopping experience was great. This is why I gave a two star here. When checking out, we were told she could get a free birthday gift if she sign up for an account. So she did. On her birthday, we went there again. There was no line. We went straight to the counter and asked if we could get a free birthday gift. The girl's face at the counter changed immediately from warm to cold, and pointed to the three options of gifts. I asked what were in the boxes. She did NOT answer. After a silent minute, I just pointed to one of them. She did NOT say a word to us after that. I felt hugely humiliated. If free birthday gift is what Sephora offer, you should make me feel like a thieve. It was not a pleasant experience.

I’ve been coming to this Sephora for a while now and today was an strange experience. I was wearing sweats because it was a rainy day and I wanted to be lazy. Well 90% of the workers looked at us and ignored us when we made eye contact trying to get their attention. We had to follow people to ask questions and when asked one of the girls about a product she was rude, kept the product and just gave us the price. Very very uncomfortable situation where we felt judged and treated differently. It was not a pleasant experience, until we asked Reina for help and she was extremely nice and helpful, she made sure I got the right products and right sage for my skin. These 5 stars are for her and her excellent service.

The employees here really went above and beyond to help me when they really didn't need to. I was looking for a new eye cream but wanted to do my research first. I asked if they had any samples on hand, there were none but I was told they would MAKE samples for me to take home from some of the pump products on the floor. I was running short on time, so the associate actually wrote a list of products they would sample for me next time I come in! So sweet, will be going back with more time.

I’m very disappointed with the service today. The cashier suggested me to use the 500 points for $10 off but didn’t tell me that it removed the promotion. And when I get back to them to repurchase the items that told me that I need to get in the line which I already wait for the line in the afternoon. I was shopping with Sephora as a rouge customer for several years, and I really appreciate for the good service except this store.

Very convenient location with the vast parking courtesy of Westgate West. The service has been fine for me, didn't meet anyone with major attitude or anyone who was superb. The selection is small and sometimes whole shelves are wiped out. But there is always the option of ordering online and having it shipped to the store. Curbside pick up is a breeze as it is a stand alone store.

Great place to shop and have a quick makeup done on sight if you have an event to attend. I don't wear make up a lot and so I asked for assistance. The person who assisted me was amazingly patient and helpful. The makeup artist on sight is also sweet and talented. I went in without appointment and she did an amazing job. All in all happy with the service I recieved there.

It's so nice to have a Sephora in the West Valley area of San Jose. Access to the store is convenient and parking is just yards from the door. I found it well stocked with a great staff. The doors open at 1100am. If you forget and arrive at 1000am, you will find convenient shops to check out and a Starbucks while you wait.

Keila’s brow & lip waxing service is wonderful. She really listens to what the client wants and does the job amazingly well. I’ll be definitely trying out other beauty services offered here. Plus, you also get a goodie bag with samples each time with the service from Sephora.

Very good customer service at this location the store itself is very clean the employees are very friendly and approachable however the items themselves are extremely expensive but they do try to help you find exactly what you're looking for.

All the staff were great! But Monnalie was exceptional. She is patient, kind and knows how to recommend products. I bought 2 items she recommended because after trying them on I saw she was right! Thanks Monnalie.

Oh I loved the experience here! The staff is very courteous and knowledgeable, and very helpful. I saw so many customers being served, and the customers looked very satisfied and happy!

I visited here today and bought eyeliner and mascara.I was so thankful that Monnalie staff was so kind and helpful.The next time I visit, I will find Monnalie again.

Supper sad I came in early wanting to finally splurge on nice make up walked around nothing was on stock and got some nasty looks, felt supper uncomfortable.
