The location was square one, Mississauga .. The time around 5 something on Nov 15 . I have shopped and returned products before if not satisfied, but I ike to share a very horrible experience at the Square one location. Mostly the front representative are very friendly and understanding but this one experience has left me shaking. The product to return was an unused, not open package of holliroots mist. Firstly the product was purchased the last day of the 15% discount, last week I was not sure I want to use it but since it was 15% week ,I bought it thinking I will return after deciding.. That is exactly what I went to do at this location. As a honest individual, I went up to the checkout desk. Told the rep that I did not opened or used the product , just change my mind. She took the product , opened it and commence to inspect which I did not mind, that's her job. She then told me to wait and Called her Manager, , on duty, . I was actually surprised when she did that as I I had just told her that i have not opened the package and is unused. Thats when the most humility and embarrassing situation took place for me. The Manager, SUE LANGE bought another of the holiroot mist and started comparing , inspecting, smelling the product, although I was repeatedly telling her that I did not even opened the package and this is what is there. She insisted that my product don't have bubbles and the other product has . To protect my dignity and embarrassment I asked the Manager to bring another new bottle. That bottle was similar to my product but she still keep on insisting that it has crystals, which I don't know what she meant, of course implying that I am a liar and had tempered with the product. At this point I was shaking all over with humiliation and aghast. I then told her , can I return the product since she is saying it is defective , that she should addressed the issue with the manufacturer as this is what the contents in the bottle are..Her blunt response was 'No'.. company policy.., we will not issue a return. . I still keep on promising and pleading that I m being honest and that I have in no way tempered with the product. It all went on deaf ears..I was in tears and helpless at this point and frankly at her mercy. I left the store very disturbed by what has happened. It was not so much of the return at this point but trying to prove my innocence. I then called Sephora , customer service to report the incident but just received a general response back today. I have responded back to them, I m hoping that this incident will be taken seriously and dealt with. Since I was scrutinized as a liar, the embarrassment has left me with a low feeling today morning and the look of all the other employees casting that eye at me for arguing my innocence. Pure humiliation. I am still in shock at the treatment I received by this individual. It was so demoralizing. I will never be able to forget it for awhile. I lost all excitement of shopping in Sephora. . A very disturbing experience. I do not want some one else to go through this again.

This is the e-mail…. Dear Sephora Team, I would like to bring to your notice that one of your stores in square one mall, Mississauga has pathetic working staff members. I have posted a review also about my bad experience with them. I am writing this e-mail because you guys had asked me for a formal e-mail so here I want to describe my experience with Sephora. Last Sunday ( 17th July 2022) I visited the Sephora store in square one mall with my husband. He wanted to buy some of the branded products for me as a gift because it was my birthday. So as we entered and requested one of the employees to guide us as I never bought from Sephora but she ignored us. Again we called her, almost 4 times, however, no response from her side. After 2 minutes we asked another employee to help us and suggest some good products but she also refused by saying that she cannot leave her counter and seat. We were extremely shocked by seeing her expressions. This kind of poor behavior spoiled our mood and we have decided not to buy anything from Sephora in the future. As we had really never expected this type of attitude from a well-reputed company's employee. Afterward, we requested an employee who was standing at the store's door to call your manager. We explained to her everything about their poor customer service. She also accepted that this is really unacceptable and pathetic attitude towards the customer. But, I am very disappointed with the manager's approach too as she did not put any effort into her side to rectify her employees' mistakes. As per our experience, the staff members were not interested at all to entertain the customers. In the end, I just want to say, if customers are there and buying your products then you guys have a job and your company is getting sales but if you guys will not maintain your customer service then I am sure many of your stores will be closing down soon because of this kind of approach people will not accept. This is beyond horrible, worst, and extremely pathetic services. I would like to suggest to you guys that before hiring staff please trained them properly in a professional way so that they can maintain your brand value and reputation also because these people are the face of your company and represent Sephora. Finally, you guys have lost your new customer as I won't buy anything from Sephora nor will recommend others too. Thank you Have a nice day

Kind of conflicted on writing this review because I have been going to this location for years and the staff was nothing but respectful to me, but my recent few visits to the store was a lot different. The staff was generally impolite, with the exception of some lovely people. When I would ask questions, the employees would act like it was an incredibly demanding task to point me towards the product I was looking for. I didn't pay much mind to it because at least they showed me what I was looking for which is all I really cared about. However, an incident that took place yesterday afternoon was my final straw. I was looking to buy some skincare items but I needed help finding a certain product. So I asked a lady who looked like a manager if she or another employee could assist me, and she asked me to wait. I waited for several minutes, and when nobody came to help, I politely asked her again if I could get some help. She said "I already called someone for you, what I'm gonna need from you is some patience" in a rather rude tone. After that, I left the store without buying anything because I will not allow myself to be disrespected and treated like a burden by an egotistical manager. I really hope they raise their standards for their employees because I don't know what's causing it, but the quality of their customer service has been taking a nosedive lately.

This used to be my go to Sephora, but I have had the most rudest, horrible and disgusting customer service I have experienced in my life. I spent over $200 that day, and the staff the entire time thought I have stealing... To which to some degree is their job but if you're CLEARLY seeing me asking questions about products, taking my time and PURCHASING, what indicates that as a possible theft? Then to top it off, their asset protection or whatever glorified title you wanna give that incompetent guy forced me to show my pockets to him to which I complied as this tall, large male is asking a young girl - to which he found nothing, I got no apology from the staff, he refused to provide his name, and walked off. The only kind person in there that genuinely was doing her job instead of paging in the walkie every few minutes to keep an 'eye on me' while there were ACTUAL people stealing, she treated me phenomenally. I didn't catch her name but she was a licensee for the benefit brow bar. Overall, all the reviews about this store being horrible, the staff being horrendous and overall need to boot everyone in that store is very much accurate. This store deserves the lowest of ratings. Such a poor job. It is a shame what they have done to tarnish the Sephora name. The worst service and most horrible team. Avoid this location at all costs.

My experience at this location was extremely poor. I went to the store and noticed a line outside. When I went to question why there was a line, I was ignored, and then rudely answered. I went into the line after being told that I was going to get a gift if I signed up for insider beauty rewards, so I waited in the line. After half an hour, another employee came out and said that the gifts were done. I noticed that there was one more gift, and went up in the line, but a man that was behind me sidestepped and budded me in the line. The employee, witnessed this, but turned her face away. She then said to go inside to get my gift, so i went to the counter and they didnt give me the same gift as the one outside. They gave me the birthday gift that was of no use to me. However the reason this became an issue is because as I was exiting the store, the same man who crossed me in the line was recieving the last gift. I went to the manager and the employee spun the story and made it looked like I was crazy or something. It's not like I was asking for something that they weren't already giving for free, and I won't tolerate people treating me like this. I'm not sure why the employee was rude continually, maybe it was the fact that I wore a head scarf.

Went to sephora Square one location after a long time cuz I've moved .. was so excited to go bcz this was my fvrt place where i can try makeup and all the associates used to be so helpful but yesterday was a horrible experience 2 associates were arguing more over fighting with each other in hindi/punjabia they literary ignored me. I wanted to buy a concealer but no one helped me i asked another lady to find a color for me and she said all the colors are there u have to check by yourself as i wont be able to test each shade on you.... and left.. These three associates were without makeup.. i was so shocked that i never saw anyone working in sephora not wearing makeup.. there was a time when associates used to help you they would go beyond to make sure the customer is satisfied.. they would mix and match stuff for you. Teach you each step ... Anyways after that i thought i will complain on the counter.. but she was sooo cold that she didnt even greet me or say anything.... please teach your staff some manner and customer services. If you guys dont like this place then dont workkkk please dont spoil our visits.

Worst experience with any makeup brand. Me and my friend were just going there to check things out and while being busy she hands me something without me realizing. After she was done checking out concealers she left the store, I was having trouble with wifi so I left the store forgetting the item in my hand. Telling my friend I hand it to her and turn around to go put it back but before I could, a loss protection employee stops me. He was rude and disrespectful and did not listen to anything I had to say. Every time I would try to explain what happened he would interrupt me telling me to stop lying. Did I mention how me and my friend are only 12 years old? We are children and he threatened to call the police on both of us even though we were doing everything he asked for example showing my bag and nothing being in it. He then called both of our parents telling them something that DID NOT happen and did not let me explain myself either. They made multiple assumptions without checking footage and even banned me and my friend from the store. I was treated unfairly even though there was no attempt of stealing.

I went shopping today to Sephora Square One Mall and found their Benefit Brow Bar. I have never done eyebrows treatment before and was very skeptical about the process. Mehek, one of the brow bar associates was very kind and friendly-enough to talk me through the whole thing and made me feel very comfortable about the process. I felt a sense of trust with her and went ahead with the eyebrow waxing. Throughout the process (which lasted about 20-30mins) she kept explaining to me as to what she was doing and why. I kept bombarding her with questions but she patiently and soo cheerfully answered everyone of them. Something I thought I would never get done in my life because I did not want to risk the chances of tampering my natural look, made me look as natural as ever with not even 1% error all thanks to Mehek. I would highly recommend booking Mehek at Square One Mall Sephora for your Brow Bar appointments. You would 100% be in safe hands and have an amazing experience. Thanks Mehek and Sephora for this wonderful experience.

This is usually my go-to store since it was the closet to my house, but usually when I'm there I would pick out things and check out right out. Yesterday, I decided to seek some advices from one of the beauty advisor, and all I can say is that, that person was not happy to help at all. I did indicate that I was still pretty new to make up, and asked her for some suggestion. Real honest, I only asked 3 questions regarding a specific brand I had in mind already, but the beauty advisor continue to give me "long sigh", I'm not sure what's the indication here, but if you're not willing to help, you can politely denied and move on, rather than make me feel like I was bothering you. I just went ahead and thanks her for helping, and then move on to service myself. Great store, but please double check at your staff again, because it seems like some of them aren't happy when servicing customer.

I dont know how Firinder is a manager, he doesn't know how pick up orders are to be canceled, assumes without inquiring about my concern, talks to you in a condescending way "we are doing you a favor" no you are doing your job!! Items say they are in stock on the app and he says no those are the store testers showing up as in stock... from what I know testers should already be taken out of the system if management knows how to manage that is. Firinder needs to work on his customer support, it is unfortunate people like this are placed in managerial positions and are supposed to represent the Sephora brand I will be going to another sephora location from now on square one location is no longer for me because of MANAGEMENT. Its different if it was maybe a regular employee but for the manager to act in such a way is appalling to me.

I had an appointment yesterday at 4pm for my eyebrows. I was there half an hour early and the workers were aware that I was on time for my appointment they informed me they were finishing up with client before me and asked me to browse around sephora in the meantime. When it got closer to my appointment time I checked in with the eyebrow lady name (ARIANNA) who had taken a client who's appointment was for 4.30pm before mine knowing I had checked in. I feel it might be cause they knew eachother. It is not right work is work and when I asked her she was rude and said how the client was in a rush, and how she had already started and telling me to wait with no consideration to my time considering I even came early to my appointment. Will not be making any appointments at square one as I feel workers do not know professionalism.

Lovely variety of brands, unfortunately the staff here is an embarrassment to the company. Rude, unprofessional and simply unhelpful. You can ask them a question of where something is and they send you in circles instead of showing you or helping you, they aren't good with telling information about products either. They made me get out of the line go to a lady checking out customers at a stand, it took so long the whole long line up already got checked out including people who come after me. I went back to the line at this time, and then they told me go back to the lady she is free now. I went back and again the whole line up and more people got checked out and I’m still waiting. Ladies there are rude and seem very judgmental when asked any questions, and seem very annoyed with helping people. Prefer shopping online.

This review is for two young ladies that work at the Square One location. Bushra and Amnta. The day before New Years I walked into Sephora feeling a little overwhelmed. It was chaotic people were everywhere, I was looking for someone to book an appointment for me. Then I met Amnta.. she took full control, booked my appointment…and assured me that I was in good hands. Amnta took the time to listen to my concerns, I found her to be very helpful. Amnta is truly a gem Now last but not least is Bushra!! Words can’t describe how talented she is. Bushra took the time to educate me on the products she was using on my skin. She blended my eye makeup beautifully, I was very pleased with the results. If I could give 10 stars ⭐️ I would. Both ladies provided exceptional customer service. I’m done!!

I have been a long time customer of Sephora so I know that when the store is very busy it can take a while to get some help which I don't mind. However, I found a staff member who was not busy helping anyone else and asked her a very specific question about Make Up Forever foundation - they discontinued their older version which I used to use and I wanted to know about shade matching etc. The response I got was just "go try on the testers.' That is not a helpful or knowledgable response so I don't know why you even work there, if you can't help or say sorry that is not my area of expertise, let me find you someone who knows etc. The reason I will give 3 starts is that when I first entered, I asked for some help with Rare Beauty and that staff member was very helpful with me, which was great.

I went to shop their square one location and needed help to find a foundation that would cover my melasma, to my disappointment not a single staff member was ready to help. I could sense how they were avoiding me and just told me to look around and see," whatever is there". On top the cashier even upon my request and explanation she refunded my money to the gift card that they threw in the garbage . When I explained her that how can I use that money when I don't have the gift card, she called the manger who couldn't do anything but told me to go home and they would contact me. I lost 100 dollars and it's been three days I didn't not receive a single email from them. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service and such rude and cold response from such a big company is absolutely disgusting.

I came in not really knowing the products that would work with my skin. I sought out the help of one of the Customer Service reps, Afifa - who was super knowledgeable and worked with me to find products that would work with my combination skin. I felt confident in her recommendations and ended up leaving the store with a new daily face moisturizer as well as an eye cream for radiance and dark circles. Excellent service, very friendly, and she hit the price point I was after dead on. I’ll definitely be back - so thank you for the assistance and top notch customer service. You made an otherwise difficult process (finding products that work for my skin) relatively easy and I appreciate the patience while we went back and forth finding something that was exactly right for me! 10/10

I was just there and leaving the store. The security alarm goes off and the security jumps on me and my group ACCUSING US. I personally feel like we were racially profiled. The security never took an eye off of us during the 5 minutes we were in the store. The lady at the entrance said “it was one of u guys!” even though we stood in between the alarms may I remind weren’t going off. She still swore it was us. I had to empty my pockets just for her to realize she was wrongfully accusing us. Not even an apology afterwards. There was no attitude shown on my end which puzzled me. Why was I treated like a shoplifter? I will never set foot into this store or any Sephora again. Would definitely leave 0 stars if it were an option. Terrible customer service.

All of the reviews saying that the staff is disrespectful are definitely not false. I was intimidated at the checkout counter or the woman just has a hearing/parsing problem. In that case maybe trying lowering the heckin music to hear people properly or lose the job that needs you to properly be able to communicate with people. I told her that “Amrit” helped me and she was like who’s that? I mean you don’t even know your own staff? Is it general unacceptability towards people who have a different accent or do they hate their own lives so much that they’re taking it out on the very people who make their store run? I’ll never know because you won’t be able to pay me to do the checkout at that store again. Shoutout to Amrit though, she was an angel.

As a Rouge member at Sephora, I’ve been to multiple locations. Square One is one of my go to locations given it has so many of the high end, luxury, well known make up brands. You can get make up products, skin care and fragrances from multiple brands and suitable for all budgets. I’ve never had a complaint when having my customs make-over or “Glamover” and find all of their artists are knowledgeable, friendly and LOVE their make up. I’m definitely a regular and repeat client and happy shopper here. Sometimes the line ups can be really hard to handle so give yourself A LOT of time to shop and check out. Don’t come here thinking you’ll be in and out easily. How could you? There are too many goodies to stop for a few minutes.

I am not one to complain about sephora because their service is usually good and never had a problem until today. Me and my friends were by the "paid services beauty bar" when we saw an Ouai Hair Oil tester on the table with other Ouai products where I was reading it until an employee came in yelling at me and my friends about how we should not be testing "make up" on the "paid services" enough we did not have any tester makeup on us and demanded us to move somewhere else in a very rude tone. I never been so embarrassed and disappointed with the lack of mannerism this employee gave to us. I really hope that employee was having a bad day (which is fine) but totally unacceptable behaviour towards customers.

Unprofessional, unhelpful and rude. The staff sent me around the store 3 times for bb cream. They would point in the general direction and tell me the brand. When would go there would be nothing there or something similar. When I complained after the second trip around the store to the lady in the front just kept saying the same thing. Some staff were on their phones and others were very rude. My mum was tired from all the trips so she sat on a stool next to us and a staff member very rudely told her to get off. This location just keeps getting worse the more I go and I so I dont think I'll go there again. I got better service about makeup at a pretzel place nearby than here :/

I'm giving 2 stars because I have no issues with the stuff at this location, I've been shopping years here since I'm very close to the store, my issue is that last 2 years my bday is on the 15th of December when I ask for my bday gift they run out of stock since is end of the year usually they go fast so the cashier said I can go ask ither stores or see on line or else by the end of the month I will lose my gift. Didn't have time to talk to the manager or have time to run other stores of course since I'm busy with work.Would be nice next year to make sure that December is end of the year maybe you guys should double up with gift or stop giving them to your friends just saying.

It was not a good experience for me here,, am a sephora customer from last 2 years & this is the time when i expect the staff to help me out but it was disappointing as they didn't did so. Basically, i got some stuff out of which i wanted to return some & its three days after i exceed limit of 30 days policy as i was having a back pain so unable to come within 30 days to return but the day when i went to store to return the stuff, they refuse it & said all you can get is only store credit.. I requested alot & explained my situation but they barely even ready to listen to me& keep saying you can get store credit only which i do not want. So yeah it was something dishearting

I was sold a fake (and empty) Dylan blue perfume at this location by one of the workers in the fragrance area. I went back to return it and they didn’t give me a refund and kept saying “this product is not from our store” when I had purchased it IN STORE the night before. I don’t trust this location anymore and have not gone back since. It’s interesting how the worker sold me this perfume, kept it at the front and then I got cashed out and didn’t even have a chance to look at the bottle. Very disappointed in the rude customer service, completely denying that the product was from their store. Don’t think I can ever go back here. Online shopping is your best bet.

5 stars because this is one of my favourite place to shop at! I needed some new stuff and water to try out new products! By the way this is from Black Friday! I just didn’t get a chance to write a review but as you can see I am very happy with my purchase. Yes, I have used the products by now and I totally recommend these products!!! For the Fenty Gloss Set though it might not be there since it was a limited edition but other than that you’ll find everything else. Not only that customer service is good and usually all products are well stocked on the shelf! Overall amazing store. I recommend this place for any type of skincare, tools, makeup you might need!

I had a bad and disappointing experience twice. The employees are so rude. I asked them to do my Colour IQ, and they just refused twice on two different days. They kept delegating to other employees. Then I had my pick up order which wasn't even ready when I reached there. They made me wait 45 minutes and nobody would help me out. I waited so long just to get my order cancelled. Why would they show us the available product when it's not in store? On top of that, they kept telling me that my name was different. It perfectly matched my name on the pickup order and the receipt itself. It was just pathetic. Would never go to this Sephora store specifically.

The Square One location has very recently upped their game. Lots more mirrors and fully stocked try on stations (no more having to hunt down a tissue!) I was approached by floor staff asking if I needed help more times in this one visit than probably the last ten years of visits combined - and it was busy at the time. Shout out to Harpreet for her solid picks for me, her patience and great customer service skills. Staff at checkout were very pleasant and helpful as well. Came in for one thing and left with five. This win-win is what happens when you offer an excellent customer experience. Please keep up the great work!

The young staff at this location is simply awful with an attitude I have never encountered anywhere: shame on them, they should be fired on the spot. I went to Sephora to buy some creams and asking a young lady a question, she only made eye contact me with me for a second and chose to ignore me completely by looking down on the shelf. I have never seen anything like that anywhere in the world!!! I spoke with another lady who apologised for the attitude of her colleague yet could not find her as the first girl was hiding behind a shelf, probably thinking: 'that will teach that blonde lady to ever come here again'.

Do not ever online purchase and get your purchased order ready for pickup at this location. Usually expect 2hrs pickup confirmation after order confirmation. No pickup confirmation received after 2hrs. No one to ask for assistance or an area specifically for online order pickup. Lack of employee assistance. Staff that were there say that they were finished with their shift and yet they were still wearing their walkie talkies. All of their staff are stationed at either the beauty studio or at cashier; no one on the floor roaming ready to assist customers. Will not be attending this location in the future.

Worst Sephora location, cashiers don’t even bother to look or talk or even acknowledge you as they cash you out or do a refund and make you feel like an inconvenience to them for doing their job if you interrupt their gossip session with their coworkers. If you’re conducting transactions for clients the least you can do is acknowledge the customers questions and concerns instead of chatting away to everyone around you while ignoring the customer…usually id give the benefit of the doubt but this has happened many times. anyways they gave mean girl energy, jus online shop fr

I have had some poor customer service experience here, but overall they have great selection. I called first to ask if they had some shadows that weren't on the floor and the manager was able to locate them for me in the back room. When I arrived at the store she had the boxes waiting for me to shop through. She was extremely nice and more than willing to help me find what I was looking for and made me feel like an important customer. The girl at the cash was also really nice and helpful. Overall I had great service during my last visit and will definitely be returning.

I was really taken aback by the rudeness of the Asian lady in the fragrance section. She gave my mother and I several dirty looks as we tried perfumes on. She continued to glare at us as she slammed the bottles back on the shelves even after we carefully set them down in the correct places. Not sure what caused her to have a negative opinion of us as from the very beginning she did not once come up to us to ask if we needed help, but I don't think we'll be coming back to this Sephora location again. A shame because many of the other staff are friendly and helpful.

THEY ACCUSED MY SISTER!!!! If I could give this place 0 rating I would. Employees there have no respect. Today, my young sister went there to buy some items. A lady came to her yelling and literally attacking her that she is stealing some products from there. Staff are very rude and don’t know what they are doing. UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF! they think they are so great just because they work in sephora. I went to buy a perfume. I asked a staff member and she was annoyed but reluctantly opened the drawer and got me one. Then I said I wanted to buy it and she put it back in a drawer and left. So i approached another staff member and she was too busy to take my payment. Then i went to the express checkout and someone finally came and helped but made an error in the amount but wasn't apologetic about it at all. Most of them need a serious attitude change.

I came to this location yesterday afternoon, and had the worst customer service experience I have ever had to endure. The MANAGER, who is suppose to set the example for her employees, spoke down to us, treated us like children and made us feel unwelcome in the store. Her attitude was appalling and was unlike anything we have ever experienced, we have never had to deal with such blatant disrespect from an individual in authority and we suggest you do NOT go to this location, as the staff are extremely rude & disrespectful.

Sephora Sq1: I went to your store yesterday to pick up my birthday free gift. The cashier was very cold. She scanned my card, the gift; handed it to me without a word. I said thank you. She didn’t even smile or nod her head. Malls and stores are not busy. Business is down. People are spending less. If you don’t like your job. Change it. I have always received great customer service. I stock up on my beauty supplies at least every 3 months. I may not go back to Sq1 because of this one cashier. Very unfortunate

Had such a bad experience and would never recommend to anyone. I wish there was a 0 star I can give them . The staff was rude, I asked a worker for help, she literally ignored me and friends. Moreover , the security guard guy was so mean where even we go he was following us like we are criminals. Would never come back . Felt so uncomfortable couldn’t purchase anything. They really need to have good stuff members who can meet the need of the customers. I hope no one has to go through the situation we did.

I had a wonderful experience with my Beauty Advisor Sagal Mohamud. I wasn’t sure what look I was going for my Christmas events this month (Dec 17 & 24). But both times I told Sagal what my events were and showed her what I was wearing, and I left extremely happy with the end result. I also received many compliments at both events. I would highly recommend Sagal. Not only for her great make up skills, but also for her joyous spirit. Looking forward to my next make up service with Sagal in 2023.

Everytime I visit the location, the experience gets worst and worst. To get help on the floor I had to wait for 30 mins and even after that she kept going back and forth with different customers. Like square one is so busy how do you only have one "skin expert" on the floor on Saturday evening.Everything is chemical based with Aha's and Bha's, nothing is natural except the brand Innisfree, and ofcourse everything is "sold out" in that brand.Never every going to visit the store again.

There was a short brown girl with curls who was working in the perfume aisle and I felt that she mocked mines and my mums accent with one of her colleague. To be honest, I’m not surprised. Sephora employees have always been rude and aggressive for no reason, but this is a new level. I can’t believe this is seriously happening in 2023. If you don’t like your job, why would you apply in the first place? Rather than mocking others, maybe take a moment to reflect on yourself.

Honestly such a good experience! As someone who’s the definition of new to makeup, each of the employees who helped me were positive and patient. I would like to point out Nicole in particular who saw me struggling and politely came over to offer me help with choosing the right foundation for my tone. She even noticed my hesitance to receive help and continued to offer her assistance rather than walking away from me. She was really helpful, encouraging and funny!!

I was there yesterday. I was looking at benefit brow products. I wanted to try it before I purchase and asked if it was possible to get a sample. I was told by the Sephora assistant that worked the benefit counter that they had no sample. I find that hard to believe as I’ve asked for sample for other products before purchasing them at other Sephora locations and was always given samples. Will not shop at this location again. Very poor customer service

Would not recommend this location since all of the staff is really rude here. I came across Sumaiyya, as I wanted to get a sample for a Sulwashoo product. First she declined giving me 2 samples, however upon receiving the sample it wasn't even a fifth full. Keep in mind, this was a face serum, and wasn't even enough for one cheek. Throughout the whole interaction, she was rude in general, and I never have a good experience with any of the staff here.

i hardly ever give positive reviews but this deserves one. i absolutely love the staff at this location. very kind friendly & helpful. sagal SLAYED my make up for my birthday i loved it. definitely gonna come here again considering it was my first time getting my make up done from sephora. one time i was looking for highlighter & one of the girls literally walked back & forth the entire store multiple times to help me find the right one. so sweet.

Honestly, this was one of the worst Sephora experiences I've ever had. I went into Sephora today to buy some makeup products, only to be told that I shouldn't because they won't do me justice. I've struggled with acne since high school, and it's always terrifying to walk into a makeup store with acne on my face and today was the day when one of the cashiers literally broke me with her comment. I'm not going back to that particular Sephora.

I would give one star if I could, had a very similar experience to another reviewer which store manager said they could not “override return policy” for an item which does not work. The item was well within the return policy and there was no need to override anything in the first place. the store manager was just stingy and rude and unwilling to help. I don’t ever return things and it was such a waste of my time over such a low cost item.

Going here with a stroller is a completely nightmare, I felt so watched all the time. What should I do with my baby? The aisles are almost empty I don’t know what’s going on with the supplying chain but is not good to find everything out stock. The attitude of the employees here is like if they are doing a favour to you. I asked the cashier for gifts in exchange of point and she was so rude at me, I have points because I shopped here!!!!

My friends and I came to this location to test out some perfumes as we usually by them online. Usually when I go into Sephora’s I don’t feel too welcomed, but Afifa in the fragrance department helped us! She was so kind, sweet, and so easy to talk to! She gave us amazing recommendations and you could tell she is passionate about her job! I would definitely say this girl needs a raise given her expertise and 10/10 customer service!!

2 stars for area of convenience and the occasional cool employees (shoutout to Ari!)!but every other time is such a disappointment. What started as a trip for essentials and checking out any new fragrances (during their 2X points event), to walking out empty handed and rejected. You either can’t find what you’re looking for, associates will straight up stalk you or have no interest in helping you, big lineups, or all of the above.

super uncomfortable experience - felt watched the whole time. I put back The items that I did not want and after wandering and looking around one of the associates asked me if I wanted the lip glosses that I had picked up and I said no I put them back (wish I did in front of the other associate) and she called the girl right in front of me to check and make sure that I had put them back. It was super embarrassing and awkward

They canceled my appointment a few hours before the appointment - yet we're required to give a 24hr cancellation notice? Funny. The woman was rude on the phone and didn't seem to care - they had no backup artist available. If I had a big event that day - I would be SCREWED! Thankfully, the Yorkdale location was able to fit me in. Do not book with them. Also, this location is always low in stock.

It was so great that I have to write this review to shoutout to the sales associate Allisa (@pavoneartistry) who was so wonderful and knowledgable! She showed us so many neat high quality products and more importantly how to use them! She's definitely who you should find in stores if you have questions as she's a makeup artist on the side!

KC at the beauty bar is amazing! She is very welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable when it comes to brows. I never got my eyebrows done at Sephora before so I decided to give it a try. I was very pleased with the results and what she did to my brows. They have never looked better! I live in Toronto and specifically come to this location just to get them done by KC. I highly recommend her.

If there is such thing like this then why give customers the exchange policy.And later declined to return the product and she claimed that you cannot return here and forced us into buy this item in front of customers.This happend on Victoria day Today.

I went two separate times and each time I asked an employee a simple question if an item not on display could be in stock, which happened before. Both times they answered very rudely and with an attitude. They answered like I asked a stupid question. Not going there again.

I love sephora other than their new regulation where they discontinued giving samples for trying before buying the actual product. It is such a waste buying a $100 product and then returning it because it reacted to your skin. I think they should start giving samples to save money and time serving customer returns.

Very bad experience. Staff at the perfume section was so rude that she didnt even care what I want or looking for. Had to do a return from an online order there was no lineup. Took less than 10 mins to be done The cashier asked the reason for returning and told it was not what it looked like online. She looked at the item and processed the return. The location wasnt busy there seemed to be enough employees to help people

Sephora refused to give my birthday gift! All these years I got my gift from store, this time I wanted to my birthday gift with my online order but they did not help me at all. Whey were rude! Unfortunately I had to face terrible customer service. Very disapointing.

I went to sephora on November 13, 2023 and disappointed about no try samples for products suck as lip liner on the floor of all colors. I would really appreciate if they would stock it up products so we can try it and not asking for try samples every time.

The place to go for beauty and care products. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Stock is sometimes a hit or miss due to the traffic that goes through this particular location, but all in all, a very refined experience from browse to purchase.
