"First time here"
I'm delighted with the excellent service I received from Soho coffee. All the staff were warm and welcoming. The assistant manager called Marketa is always very polite to myself and staff and customers and welcoming and role models excellent customer service and Soho coffee values . She always passionate hardworking and encourage s staff to work hard by example . The food and almond milk tea they serve is delicious. I would always be happy to go there again, and would recommend Soho coffee to any one who enjoys excellent food and beverages
Excellent establishment, with kind caring staff. I have been a regular customer for quite some time and I’ve never been disappointed with the quality and service. Because of this, I had a celebration for my sisters 18th birthday and I kick started the surprise day at soho coffee house. When I approached the workers with my idea, they met it with such great joy and were so welcoming of it. We popped confetti canons and everyone joined in with the celebration, it was a lovely experience and something that we will always remember.
First time visiting SOHO Coffee I was looking forward to it as the photos looked so good and I love Coffee shops with a different unique vibe. Food was nice and coffee was nicely presented but not so warm:( Brought my toddler and highchairs were available which was good but was flustered enough as you know how toddlers can be at the terrible 2's stage lol ..considered revisiting but was so annoyed to realise I was taken advantage of and overcharged :( trust is everything!

Kinda busy not too bad, had an iced Americano but it was so watered down and awful, not at all worth £3.50 A member of staff also dropped thick glass which shattered everywhere and some shards flew onto a customer's table, by their plate and by my feet. She started clean up but a lot of glass remained after an hour (I had a meeting and it took over an hour).

First time here. Good service, good value for money. Clean and comfortable. If there was one thing that I would improve, it is advertising of food as after I'd bought my sandwich and drink I noticed Jacket potato's were available but hadn't noticed the sign on wall, so perhaps this could be displayed where can be easily seen better. But other than this enjoyed my coffee and snack.

Surprisingly good coffee shop on the top floor of the Bullring. We had the Tex Amex brunch (£6.90) and a giant spud (£7.50). Both were nice and really decent value for money. There were loads of veggie and vegan options and it was pretty straightforward to find something gluten free too. The staff were friendly, and the decor and atmosphere were good!

Dirty. Had to clean my own table. Staff rude. And they gave us cow milk instead of soya - good job we watched them pour it or we could have been spending the afternoon in deep trouble. We won't be going back. Edit: So they contacted me as a reply to my review and asked me to email them. I did. They didn't reply. Again, it says a lot about their attitude to customer service.

Friendly staff and nice coffee BUT, people asleep at tables without purchases, other groups sat with Costa cups and a nice Picnic and the staff pointedly ignoring them. I get that they aren't paid to confront people but the two managers that were on duty should at least intervene. The numbers of people that looked around for an empty table but left for lack of space. I almost felt like giving up my seat....almost.
Beautiful space and much quieter than the crowded Starbucks downstairs. Got seen straight away and no queue. Staff friendly. Lots of vegan options. Everything clean and presentable. This will definitely be my new favourite coffee spot in Brum.

The vibe in this place is fantastic for work, meetings, or even unwinding. The quality of the coffee was spot on, and the staff were very professional. The only reason I gave a 1 star short is because I found a lipstick on the cup that I got. Probably, the cup was not washed well. But, they were more than happy to change it for me when I told them.

Located inside the Bull ring shopping centre, great for access and surrounded by shops and the toilet facilities are opposite. Good place for brunch and lunch with good selection of warm drinks. Windows over look out onto the street. Can get busy due to good location.

Complete disregard to hygiene. Two ladies behind the counter eating while serving customers, picking bits out of their teeth then serving customers. I don't feel that enough training was done before reopening. It is sad to see that some of the staff have no care for the customers and very abrupt Beautiful coffee shop and great food and drink, just a few members of staff that need retraining
A nice and warm place to meet and have a drink. there were a couple of issues though. Toilets are upstairs in the department store so if you're on your own and working you have no chance of a quick trip. Seconds a lack of plug points which isn't good for working. The staff were nice but pre occupied with stocking up and took a while serving a few times. overall a clean and nice location.
We went here today 24.12.21 and had an amazing coffee and veggie brunch. The brunch was absolutely delicious. Think we have found our new coffee shop.Really liked how airy and spacious it felt too.Quite nice especially during times when some like myself feel nervous to go out.The chef was lovely too,she came out and checked that we were OK without the coriander as they didn't have it.
Absolutely vile experience! I was served by a large woman in a black top with ginger hair and the whole time she was speaking to me like I was the dirt beneath her foot! As I was waiting for my order she kept making hostile eye contact with me and made me feel uncomfortable to the point where I had to keep looking down. All I wanted was a coffee. Will never be returning again.
For a coffee shop chain is ok. The sandwiches were good, and the scone was ok. The coffee was not coffee shop standard though and there were not many options for brunch that were not pre packed. It is good for a mall, ok for a coffee shop.

Soho is in the heart of the Birmingham Bullring. We have been here several times, they can be busy. Good coffee will always cause a queue lol . The jacket potatoes are huge, and tasty. Loos are just opposite Soho. It's our lunch favourite. The staff are friendly and efficient. If you are a coffee lover don't miss it.

No covid check in , worst counter service ever ..no clue , no system of service just a staff free for all. Eventually order drink and say I will sit down . The girl says I have to wait for drinks and promptly does something else .. how hard is it .. 5 mins later no drinks ... Total chaos .. avoid and go muffin break next door .. you might get get some service
I recently visited soho coffee with my daughter. We were served by the lovely Marketa. My 13 year old daughter placed her very first order and she was quite anxious. Marketa was very polite and patient with her. My daughter even expressed how kind Marketa was. Everytime we visit this branch she's always smiling. Thank you for the lovely service Marketa.
Very friendly staff and the breakfast was amazing. Little pricey, but then so is everything with the current cost of living crisis. The bread and sausages were perfect. Would come back again.

Great selection of drinks - they sell matcha lattes which a lot of places don’t! The salted caramel and pecan brownie was absolutely delicious, and can be served warm which makes it even better. The decor is very pretty and there is a huge amount of natural light which made my trip a very pleasant experience! Would definitely come again :)
Popped in with my family for some drinks whilst visiting Birmingham. Had a delicious iced coffee and 3 fruit crushies - they were cool and refreshing. Staff were very professional and welcoming. Good view and calm atmosphere - we really enjoyed our visit.

Went into soho today for the first time it was very busy however I found a table straight away. I would rate the cleanliness and food hygiene 10/10 also the staff were so lovely as I was unsure of what to order overall I would rate my experience at soho coffee bullring 10/10 fast service and excellent food and drinks
Def not coming back, staff are very rude, specially The woman called Amanda she spoke to me like I was a piece a trash when I was asking for my food and drink as I was waiting nearly 25 minutes for it. She even raised her voice at me just because I said I was in a rush and couldn't wait. Food cold and drinks to...
Nice place within Debenhams store on erd floor. Choices are okay for a coffee shop if a little expensive for some food items. I paid £4.70 for a tuna melt and whilst it was very tasty that is almost a pound more than Costa Coffee charge for a similar item. Coffee was very good though and staff really helpful.
Such an amazing range of vegetarian and vegan options! Nice staff, great location and decor. Definitely the best cafe in the Bullring

Ordered 2 jacket potatoes 1 tuna mayo and 1 cheese with beans - tuna mayo was good On the cheese and beans potato there was 10 beans with no sauce it was ridiculous when I asked the manager he said that was there portion size, 3 scoops. Scoops of what! Absolutely disgusting the way he explained it
It’s a nice spacious environment to sit in and I used to enjoy the food and drinks. However the past few times I’ve been, the coffee is cold and the food is gammy. Also, just want to point out that the paper straws last about 30 seconds in the milkshakes & smoothies. You need stronger straws.
Not that clean. 5 staff behind the till yet tables still have used cups/plates on them. Milk for drinks offered out of a jug will no lid ( anything could have been put in it) when ask for different milk was given a small bottle that was filthy on the outside the inside don’t look any better.
Started coming in 7 months ago, and has quickly become a favourite and a regular, Staff are warm and welcoming, choice of drinks are great, alternatives offered (ie, my Oat milk). The food menu is also very nice, Much rather a Soho Coffee than the Costa's and Starbucks in the area any day.
Cute cafe and I loved my strawberry shortcake shake with coconut milk, only downside was the paper straw which wilted. Great milk alternatives though! :)

Really lovely place, vegan options are great and staff are very considerate. I am awkward so I ordered the wrong sized drink but they were really helpful and made me a new one which I did not expect. I always tell people about this place, love the dairy free cream.

Set in corner of Debenhams store just by the link to grand Central this cute little coffee shop has a range of hot snacks like baked spuds with fillings like sticky bbq chicken. It has a unique glass walled circular room And a single disabled friendly toilet.
It was very poor. Staff chatting about there personal lives.they gave me tea with no milk or sugar. Did not ask if I wanted them. I tried to pay with cash and she as really rude even though there was no sign to say card . The tables were disgusting. only.
Amazing place, the coffee and drinks were fantastic. The Blueberry Burst was out of this world If you ever visit Bullring and want to chill out before you return to your your shopping spree… strongly suggest you consider this place

Drinks presented as messy with more cream than latte. Not sure where the gingerbread syrup was. Equally the salted caramel was missing from the hot chocolate. .. couldn't taste it at all. Nothing like the pictures on the advertisement board
We will not be coming back they do not counter for families I asked just a simple request for them to do the hot chocolate in my son's Cup as he is a bit too young for adult cup and they said do it yourself we will not be coming back here

Me and my son popped in to Soho last Wednesday and we were waiting to order. I went up to order a latte but it just was not efficient at all the worker which was a guy started to speak in a foreign language and i found it extremely rude.

Great little hidden gem in the bull ring. Great coffee, food and beautiful decor. Very spacious with a lot of seating. Much better than your mainstream coffee shops which are crammed and always busy. Must try!
Lovely place for a quick fix of coffee, Well decorated and got seen straight away by a lovely gentleman Ally thank you for making my first experience at Soho Coffee easy and enjoyable will definitely be back.
I'm not impressed. Their sandwiches are very similar to those you buy in Tesco, M&S etc. Obviously pre-made and not fresh-made in the café. Very slow expedition. Prices are too high compared to what you get.

Staff are very friendly and helpful plenty of choices on the menu for food and drinks. it's also very clean as soon as a table is empty it is wiped over 9/10 for all

Very pleasant cafe with decent choice of food, snacks and lunches. Surroundings are stylish and close to main shops in and around the Bull Ring shopping centre.
The food was alright, nothing particularly special. The person that served us was snooty and unwelcoming. It made my friend and I feel extremely uncomfortable.
