Some good prices when things are on sale (for the area). My biggest gripe with the store is that some of the cashiers will treat you poorly unless you appear to be wealthy, or if you are buying food items they don't personally like. If I wanted an opinion, I would ask for one.

I think this is the only grocery store in Canada where you can't search for food on their website. If you type in "veggie burgers" or "carrots" into the search bar, you will get recipes. Also the my grocery offers constantly messes up and doesn't work properly.

Previously, Safeway used to be a fantastic store, but lately, it seems they have become quite pricey. The hot food deli, which used to be a highlight, has now lost its appeal and doesn't look as inviting as before.
