I have just had the worst Sainsbury grocery delivery from this Sainsbury branch. The food was being delivered. I asked the driver where the rest of my food was as a lot was missing. They said nothing was missing and left. There were at least 16 missing items. The first person I spoke to in customer service said I could come and collect the items from the store... the store is a 45min drive from me and 2 hour walk. So I refused. They then told me that they could deliver the missing items by 11pm today. They then said actually they had already refunded me and that other than give me £15 credit there was nothing else they could do. I explained that they had literally sent me half my grocery order with key items missing. They had sent me things like burger buns and not delivered the actual burgers. This store were meant to refund me for the 16 missing items. They sent me an email refunding for 3 items. I had to call customer service again. They say they made a mistake and that all 16 items will be refunded in a week or so. I spoke to someone on the escalations team / care line and they arranged another order of the missing items from a different branch for tomorrow. This is a separate order. I will not be using Sainsbury for grocery deliver ever again. Around an hour plus of phone calls and unneeded headaches.

Had an unpleasant encounter with Will who assisted me at self checkout. He kept arguing and I did feel unwelcome over a small issue that I have came across to when using SmarthShop app where I could not adjust incorrectly scanned list of products within app and had to start from the beginning and scan all items from scratch. I told him that its inconvenient to use the app and its easier to use the cashier instead, but for some reason he kept defending it saying that the reason why app behaves this way as in order to prevent stealing as well as to punish users for wrong action. Honestly I felt like I stolen something. its just wrong to even mention thievery when you deal with your customers, just sends a wrong vibe. I am regular customer at the shop but this is the first time I met such an unfriendly stuff member.

Before the lockdown the shelves were always full of stock. Now the shelves are half full or the product you want is just not there , it is also very very expensive, . I visited Sainsburys on Saturday it was 1.30pm the shelves were half empty, in store rolls and bread all had a sell by date of the 14th it was amazingly expensive things are going up not 5 or 10p but 50p upwards very disappointed all round. I went to Sainsburys on Saturday 16/12 well there was hardly any Christmas cards, or decorations and what they did have some were missing an item I.e 3 in a pkt) sometimes only 2 , loads of tins of sweets, mince pies , other varieties of sweets it was really disappointing and no stocking fillers wither. So no it hasn't changed at all it's the same as it was earlier in the year.

It’s a superstore! One of my favourites. Has a great range of food products. Anything you need you can find here. Has a home section, electronics, children’s toys and more. Clothing section upstairs along with a cafe. Argos branch in-store, which is very convenient for click and collect purchases. Large car park free stay for 2 hours. *During covid-19 pandemic this store has done very well in accommodating the changing nature of shopping. Social distancing is in place. There is sometimes a queue outside to get into the store (don’t be put off if you see and long queue as it moves along pretty quick). Trolleys are cleaned after use and staff have protective barriers at their tills. Well done and Thank you Sainsbury’s!

  • Tori Genn

Seems obvious that Sainsbury's are trying to cut their wage bill...not enough tills are ever open in this store. When you use self check out options their tech is slow or broken requiring staff to help out but you are still left standing about with unresponsive touch screens while a solitary member of staff is trying to manage all the self checkouts....it's ridiculous! When did Sainsbury's become a place that treats its staff so terribly? The store itself seems to suffer from supply issues and there are gaps in stock. Shelf tickets invariably show the wrong price. It feels like the whole place is being run on a shoestring. Management needs to get a grip and get out on the floor and help,

  • Alexandra Luzinschi

One of the biggest Sainsburys in London. They have a great variety of clothes, house items and tons of food options. The store is nicely organised, clean and staff always happy to help. They have a cafe area, public toilets and lift accessibility. The car park is generous. You can also have access to Argos, Specsavers and a dental clinic (convenient if you like to have it all done in one place). Although we don’t live in the neighbourhood anymore and rarely visit this place, it’s always fun to spend some time there. I recommend this super store as a place where you can find pretty much all you can possibly need for you household and so much more.

  • Bex K

Really excellent store with a wide selection of foods from cheap to high end, vegetarian to carnivore, and healthy to indulgent. The huge selection of cards and wrapping essentials are also handy to have when you're prepping a gift at last minute and the home section is also loaded with useful items. Also good hygiene station as you enter the store and most customers seem to wear masks. The upstairs clothing area is quite inaccessible as the travelator has been broken for months and there's no way to bring your trolley up unless getting into the virus hot-spot lift so has to be av oided for now in my opinion.

  • D Minett

I cannot moan about the food but I will about cleaning and stocking of shelves. Arrived at the place on a Saturday morning just after the 7.30 opening time and couldn't move for motorised cleaning machines coming at you and staff dawdling about with trolleys filling shelves. If this particular store was run decently then cleaning and shelf filling would be done before opening to the public. According to a member of staff, they try to have the cleaning staff of the floor by 8.30, not good enough. Only one check out in use while other typical Saturday staff are all on a go slow getting in the way of shoppers.

  • Alex Wood

Went here to buy a few simple things- found some nice vegan chocolate for a friend only to realise (after paying and selecting no receipt) that it was expired- don't mind for me but don't want her to think I don't care. They had like 25 bars expired on the shelf so I couldn't get the one I wanted for her. Wouldn't let me take them, refused to refund me initially. Just negligent. Who knows how many other expired products are on the shelves. Won't be going here again although staff were polite enough except the guy at customer service who wouldn't let me talk to a manager. I will be emailing.

Mega Sainburys that has everything you need! They have a level with clothes and a cafe. They also have homeware, games, appliances, bedding, lighting etc etc I could go on forever. One of the few spots we found top sheets! Great range of gluten free products! If they don't have any homeware type things you need then you can order online at Argos and they have a pick-up store. It only took 1 day for our item to arrive. They have a customer service desk which has been useful for returns etc. Staff were also very knowledgeable and could rattle off the exact isle needed to find something!

  • Alexander More

Spacious but surprisingly characterless new store on two levels in a large new mixed commercial and residential complex on the site of a long-derelict brewery. The old single-storey store next door is being demolished. Now includes a much expanded range of household and electrical goods, clothing, etc, as well as a cafe, dentist's office, and phone shop. But be warned: later in the day you may find some of the shelves and large sections of the fresh vegetable section empty. To be honest, shopping in the old store was a nicer experience.

  • Ammar Hassan

Unless you're local you mind not realise this is a relatively recently rebuilt Sainsbury's which is part of a larger redevelopment of the area. The old one was fine but the new one has far more types of goods and is more spacious with two floors, clothes, section a cafe, an Argos and more. Good car parking if you need it. The travelator taking you from the entrance to the store is a bit slow but you can't fault the place for a solid building with all the items you'd want to buy and pretty fast checkouts.

  • Steven L

Seems to have a very serious issue with cars being broken into and burgled and are well aware yet Sainsbury’s not to keen it seems on warning shoppers thief’s very much operating hear so you have been warned, the police tell me they were not even able to get the cctv footage out of Sainsbury’s and it’s now been wiped despite them being aware of the crime at the time. Unless you’re ok with your car being broken into and you’re stuff nicked I wouldn’t park hear or go anywhere near this branch.

  • Laetitia C

Awfull shopping experience today. Nothing worked. Technology is meant to help it was quite the opposite today. Self scan stopped working. Smart shop I scanned everything then at the end we couldn't retrieve the shopping so had to scan everything at the till. Staff was completely unhelpful and assured me I was wrong when I was not. Cherry on the top while buckling my kid in the car I was apprehended by staff telling me where the empty trolleys need to be stored, I wasn't even finished.

  • Adrian M

Stopped coming here for my weekly shop: - abandoned cars in the car park - despite reports of vehicle break-ins, no visible car park security or warning signage - surly, rude staff at self-service tills except for the older gentleman - aggressive big issue seller at bottom of escalators (Romanian-looking girl) - high prices unless you are willing to hand over your personal data and get a nectar card Used to be a great store, not sure what's happened for it to go downhill so quickly

  • Maya, Rochelle and Family

Beautiful Massive store located near Wandsworth Bridge (3min walk). This is the 1st time I visited this store. My first impression was Wow what an amazing place. There’s Argos, Specsavers, Dentist and a cafe based in this Sainsburys. Free parking( 2 or 3 hrs max). I’ve spoken to few Colleague and they are friendly and helpful. Lovely place to shop and visit. Easy access to the store. Availability top class. Brilliant store standards and I love it.

  • Magdalena Maciolek

Honestly this Sainsbury's has the loveliest employees ever !!!! I live close by, so I'm there at least once a week. EVERYONE who works there is an absolute star!!! Anytime I ask the staff member for help, they literally drop everything and walk me to the shelf with the exact product I am looking for. Even if it's 21.55 and you are about to close you are still happy to help! Honestly guys such a good job! I love shopping in this Sainsbury's.

  • V Richards

Fabulous customer service from Benji at the Townmead Road Sainsbury's today. The shelf was empty of the item I wanted, he kindly and promptly left the shop floor to check the stock and bring exactly what I'd asked for. He was so professional and responsive - with a smile. He deserves a star award! The parking, products and layout of this store makes it a pleasure to shop at, and the staff service enhances the experience.

  • Al Brit

Massive sainsbury's offering from food products to gardening tools in a massive thousands of square metres. Food is probably priced more affordable than the local shops. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about their store. The store has also got customers toilets and one of them Argos stores. There's a huge car park as well as many busses stop right next to it. There is also a home ware section and a café.

  • Norman Brown

I used to shop here regularly but it has gone badly off this year. They have reduced their range - on my last visit a full 10% of my regular list was no longer available, not just out of stock. Plus they’re not really bothering with the COVID rules: too many customers were maskless and unchallenged and too many staff were wearing masks below their noses. Perhaps a new manager letting standards slip?

  • Timothy Gillett

This is one of your other supermarkets to go to after your German discount shop! Here you're paying more for a much wider variety ( and quality sometimes) of products. They're pretty much guaranteed to have what you want in stock . This is a large airy store with a wide food and non food offering. It also has a dentist - yes, true! Argos is is also situated here so you can click and collect.

  • Lynette Martyn

Well run store. Range of food stuff is good and changes according to demand. Staff really friendly and helpful. Has a cafe with small but good range of cooked and cold food. Hot and cold drinks. The size of the store is the best quality. It's so spacious so never seems busy. Raises money for local community charities and has a food bank. Clean, reasonable pricing and very good service.

  • B G

As an expat I appreciate their world foods aisle which is expansive and varied unlike Asda which basically has some soda from Jamaica and Indian food. Sainsbury’s is a very large store so you can pretty much find most things though I don’t recall seeing egg whites. There is a cafe at the top with extremely reasonable prices. I love how the carts are magnetized and ride up on their own.

  • Norma Bishop-Joseph

Poor experience recently on many occasions. Shelves not stocked despite products being available, some staff not willing to give assistance, items out of date, mislabelled on prices, overcharged numerous times, poor quality of products and despite complaining absolutely no satisfactory responses and what feels like a total absence of managers. There is no one to talk to anymore!

  • Sae J

a local superstore you can get most of your everyday need items, very happy to see organic food, natural beauty products on the shelves. They have a large car parking space - however, one thing you need to be aware if you bring your car to this place, hit and run happen and you won't get much help without bringing police next to you. Great ranges of product, kind staffs. :)

  • Sarah Simmons

its tooo big and not always well stocked some empty shelves.... staff all do their best to be kind and helpful..but they seem to have long shifts and a lot to do.. very convenient for me as I live near by and its open long hours. Quality of most of the food is good.. It has separate fresh fish and meat counters a bakery ..opticians ! dentist! cafe ! whats more to say !

  • Steve Hathaway

General food supermarket. About average for foods. The rest of the general retail goods no different to the rest of the big 3 or 4 trying to extract monies out of their customers by convenience, of having everything under one roof. But to do this for me, you have to have good or better quality goods at good, competitive prices and they don't. Parking is good though.

  • Brandon Ellner

Horrible customer service… Employees are about as excited as working in a morgue… They have ten checkout counters, and only ever have 1-2 open…. Even at peak hours.. If you’re lucky enough to use the self checkout counters, they’re never cleaned, a hot bed of dancing viruses and amoebas… Can’t tell if I’m in a grocery store or visiting an NHS clinic..

  • Craig Parker

Always a queue to pay and never enough cashiers, because the management want all self service. No tongs for bread rolls and one assistant said use your fingers, just what you need with a pandemic. Stock is pretty poor and not the best place to shop. On a bright note most of the shop staff that work there are lovely and friendly, especially Lorna.

  • Ed Hodges

This store has a fantastic selection of products and the aisles are wide and well laid out. There are a few minor niggles: the car park is lawless and cramped, the café is a let down. It's a nice space but the choice of furniture makes it uninviting. The staff are a mixed bag (as you would expect) some very helpful and others....not.

  • Maïa Sautelet

This is a large supermarket on 2 floors. Staff was helpful and took initiative to solve a small issue quickly. At the till the cashier couldn’t put it through my item, it didn’t have a bar code and it was the last one. But they used the code from another item I had bought for the same price. So I left with what I needed, thanks!

  • Bryce Jones

Great Sainsbury's, the parking is free but monitored by cameras. The store is really big with lots of space down isles but beware it won't stop people breathing down your neck. The tills never really seem to have to much of a queue which is great. The staff are helpful if you need them to point you in the right direction.

  • Deborah Buckingham

When you ask staff questions they either don't know the answer or grunt with the answer interested. Although one member of staff was helpful when there was no papers out at8:00am. Man, looked like manager, just shrugged his shoulders when asked about the papers. Sainsbury's in Putney far more helpful and friendly

  • Leonie

My favorite local sainsburys. Nice wide Isles which makes shopping more relaxing for some reason. Clean, airy, bright, well stocked. Nice parking with the green dots to show where a space is, very convenient. Homewares, clothes. Wish the cafe was open. It never is when I go. As supermarkets go its really nice.

  • Ash

A large supermarket with a wide range of products you would expect and a large car park. They have a large fresh produce aisle with good quality fruit and vegetables. Large clothing area upstairs, standard Sainsbury's bakery, broad selection of alcohol too. On site there is also a Specsavers and dentist.

  • Timbo Lond

Recently built supermarket replacing an older store with ample underground parking on two levels and access to the supermarket via a travelator. Besides groceries there is a section selling household goods and also an Argos. It is just off the Wandsworth Bridge Road and easily accessible by car.

  • Emma

Huge - vast - enormous place. 2 floors - probably has anything you need. Nice clean toilets. Even has a Bureau de Change. Excellent customer service - all 3 staff I spoke to in different areas were all kind and went above and beyond. Would go back. Wear walking shoes though - it's big in there.

  • Fahed Barakat

Nice clean and modern , surprisingly large for london hence a selection of goods. Has a cafe, cloths, electronics and home sections. Also has a phone shop and With a free car parking for customers. Has a fresh pizza section baked in store . I generally enjoy my shopping and stop for a coffee.

  • R D

Love this branch really big store with customer toilets and an upstairs clothing area. Massive home section and they have modernised the health and beauty area. Everything you could possibly want from a supermarket under one roof. Also have an Argos and opticians. Staff are friendly too.

  • Wiam Haddani

Dont use the self service scanner. Its put a target on you and you will have to deal with rude security guard searching you like a thief. It was one of the most humiliating and embarrassing moment of all. Guard ignorant of the social distancing rules. Horrible place. To avoid at all

  • VAL VLOG

Great place. Never seems crowded. My fave part is the Cafe (Ha!) Great breakfast < 3 pounds. And free newspapers to read. My super good, super cheap breakfast is: 1 scrambled egg, 1 sausage, 1 slice multi-grain toast & water: 2.50 pounds. All in a relaxed atmosphere with parking.

  • George Slater

Every week or so this Sainsburys will put the price up 20% then slap an "Aldi Price Match" sticker like they're doing us a favour, yeah we see you doing that! In the entrance always discounted alcohol and chocolate promotions, why not help us out with the cost of proper food?!

  • Leo Hesse

Love this grocery store for it's multiple entry points, huge parking lot, friendly staff, and variety of vegan friendly food that it offers. Self service and customer service points also very useful and accomodating. Not 24 hours but I imagine that will be happening soon.

  • Tullie Yeghen

Efficient service, nice staff, and plenty of choice even at the height of lockdown. Excellent attention to cleanliness and social distancing. The 7.30 AM slot for NHS and social services is amazingly helpful, thank you Sainsbury's for saving my sanity at a difficult time!

  • Bert Hollis

Were low on a lot of things and didn't have some key things I was looking for. The staff also didn't know what some common products were so had difficulty asking for what I was looking for. For a general shop fine, but don't go at the end of the day as stock may be low

  • Peter Clements

Large Sainsbury store with large covered parking area. Often pop in for a brunch/lunch snack and enjoy the offering from hot counter. I've yet to visit and they have in stock Bakery Swiss buns. When I've asked it like I asked a hard question :) Otherwise 5 stars

  • Freddie Kalaitzis

This one time my toilet was clogged because my partner tried to flush a bunch of wet wipes (She thought the wipes were made of paper). This is something that even Mr Muscle cannot break down. Luckily, this Sainsbury's has a toilet facility that is free to use.

  • Mark Jones

Nice big modern Sainsbury's. Loads of car parking, nice wide aisles for Social Distancing. Decent enough homes here section, although the electronics is looking a bit tied. Not yet got dedicated Smart Shop checkout points, you are still in with the others.

  • L K

A large supermarket with an impressively wide selection of food given the fact that it is relatively central. There are incredibly drive-able looking go cart like mobility scooters to help you get around the store should you find yourself over-encumbered.

  • Robert T

Staff are usually very helpful. Manager seems less so ... they lost a great young manager before lockdown he was always seen on the shop floor stacking and helping .. this one now is usually standing around .. the sell by dates in this store are terrible

  • Zizi Safadi

Very big store you can find any thing you need, including clothes and toiletries, toys, and home stationary, there is also a good coffee shop with a reasonable price, and the clothes are very cheap during the sale. Good customer service parking space.

  • George L

Massive and brilliant, apart from timings , its the topic what people talk about every weekend, most think its 24 hrs or serve the area longer a bit because its the only big superstore size in the area, hope it may change in the near future …

  • Katie Byrne Plowman

Car has been broken into, within Sainsbury’s car park this evening. Managed to find a car park attendant after 30 minutes and they explained this is a regular occurrence. Although this is not directly Sainsbury’s concern, it is frustrating

  • Rita Massey

This is a large store with well organized and well stocked products. It is better to go shopping in the mornings as most of the bargains get over by noon. Only draw back is that there are mainly self check outs, and only twomanned counters.

  • Monzo

Great supermarket with lots of deals. The staff are helpful and friendly. If you are hungry you can go to the cafe. To et into the store you can go into the elevator or on the escalator. Trolleys, small and large, are available and you can

  • Charlie

Massive Sainsbury’s, great selection of Habitat stuff as well as food. Clothes on a different floor - small men’s section and much larger sale in the women’s. Had run out of hash browns in the hot section by the time we were there! …

  • Mishari

The biggest supermarket on Fulham Area Here you can get everything you are looking for You will find Argos, dentistry centre, coffee shop, western union, Glass centre(Specsavers)and clothing on the 3rd floor also free parking for 2 hours

  • Collette Edwards

Excellent clean well stocked and very big. I was lucky to be served at a tillpoint where the lovely Cashier called “Comfort”, a woman from Ghana, was charming, polite and helpful. What a lovely surprise on a slow Saturday afternoon.

  • Aleata Alstad-Calkins

An excellent store with everything you need including home appliances and random things that you never knew you needed :-D High quality and lots of options. I'm a vegetarian and I'm SO impressed with their veggie selections!

  • Martin Lawrence

Huge supermarket with absolutely everything you could possibly want and need. Very good inexpensive clothes department on the first floor. Not too busy and it does have plenty of checkouts. Well stocked with good products.

  • Aliaa M. Abaza

Excellent selection of fruits and vegetables and cheeses and international food. Upper floor has a nice selection of clothes. Also has an Argos branch inside and has a very convenient bus stop right in front of the shop.

  • Sami A

Every time we come here the checkout points are close and you have to wait long queues and wait for longer than expected. That’s why it’s not acceptable. Management is 5 out of the 10. The rest is perfect and beautiful.

  • Roger 3, 68

Only 2 of the EV sockets working. The car park is used by local teenagers doing wheelies and hand stands on their bicycles. So it doesn't feel like a safe place to leave your car and go to shop. I won't go their again.

  • Yvette Donovan

Huge store with wide range of goods available including some which you could only get in specialist stores a few years ago...impressive! Good parking at ground level for customers with escalator access to store above.

  • ad moh

A welcoming store with great helpful staff. A wide range of food products. There is a car park . However, the store manager should remove the homeless guy parked at entrance to carpark. Otherwise worthwhile a visit.

  • Gopakumar Menon

Open late and has everything you need under one roof. Don’t get electronics from here. It’s over priced. Alcohol rates are great and they perhaps have the best choice of beers in this side of the river.

  • Ms.Shana Otley

Massive Sainsbury’s with great parking! Perfect for bigger/ taller 4x4’s and even caravans ! You get pretty much everything here ! Staff know the place well and always know which way to point you !

  • Richard Mclaren

Huge variety of products. Huge parking area underground. Plenty trolleys, lift and escalators. Clothes section on first floor. Hot food section. Opens 7am weekdays. Honestly can’t go wrong.

  • Greg S

Cafe upstairs doesn't serve hot food anymore, only coffee and pastries, cakes etc. Hot chicken is available downstairs next to the bakery. Customers toilets available. Parking as well.

  • Bolanle Ojoye

Good store and spacious. Always has what I need. Even during lockdown and now being in tier 4 things are available and not overly busy as things are being made out to be.

  • Donna

Very big Sainsbury's, plenty of choice. Some empty shelves towards the end of the day. The customer toilets were really dirty and out of hand soap and tissue.

  • Esra Dillon

So convenient and so lucky to have such a big store. Every member of stuff are so friendly and welcoming. Need, Turkish food, ingredients stock please …

  • Ahn D

Is a big Sainsbury's with a lot of products to choose including clothing, kitchenware, etc. as well a lot cheaper than the rest of Sainsbury's. Nice staff.

  • mc t

Got some less known competing brands in the condiments, cooked meats, eggs, and fish sections e.g. Hubbard's, James's. Store is generally well stocked.

  • michael Johnston

It's a big store, the staff are friendly and also very helpful, you can buy almost anything, plus there is a specs error and a argos in the store,

  • H J Holme

Was served by Louise at the 5 items or less counter and she literally made my day. Just super lovely and genuine and helpful! Give her a raise!!

  • Alex Bransby

Nice big Sainsbury’s close to Wandsworth Bridge, huge underground parking garage in good condition. All the products and facilities you expect…

  • Marina Louw

Always well stocked. Have pretty much "everything you need on short notice" from daily supplies to suitcases erc. Love the self-check out.

  • Maria Paula Reyes

They need to be careful with tag prices, as they do not always match their products and this can be deceiving for consumers rights.

  • R Amed

Great place for shopping but I would be great if they had a larger clothing range with less basic styles and a few eat in places

  • John Crossland

Used the cafe, first time for a while. Sad the breakfast rolls aren't cooked fresh, mine was toasted and not tasty. Coffee good.

  • Bafs Brennan

A nice clean store with parking disappointed no coffe shop that would have been nice . Has spec savers and other facilities

  • Fabienne Noakes

Very good click and collect and very nice staff. Some shelves were a little bare today but still very good place to shop.

  • Alexis Poole

Nice cash-desk staff. Large shop with goods range of organic foods and an interesting range of household accessories.

  • José Francisco Serpa

The best place to shop in Fulham. Next to Wandsworth Bridge - Side South. Many options how foods others countries.

  • Richard Ben Fletcher (Richie)

A very open and light store with wide aisles. But the toilets were out of order which is why only 3 stars given.
