  • "Title: Beautifully Disappointing: A Lackluster Taste Experience at Saint Germain Bakery! I recently visited Saint Germain Bakery located inside the Ponce City Market enticed by their visually stunning desserts"

"This bakery has the most inventive and fancy little desserts! I tried the Paris Brest and this Lemon Cube, both of which had amazing fresh textured mousse and were not too sweet! The Lemon Cube is the most lemon-y and tart meringue that had such a pure lemon flavor and the fluffiest texture that I ate the whole thing in one go"

"Everything looks delicious! However, I ordered the Lemon Drop expecting lemon poppyseed cake inside, but it ended up just being lemon cream, no poppyseed as advertised"

"Very tasty pastries, a large variety to choose from and everything just as delicious as the last"

"We tried the Macchiato and the Capucchino, both delicious with a strong coffee flavor but without reaching the Dark Roast"

Title: Beautifully Disappointing: A Lackluster Taste Experience at Saint Germain Bakery! I recently visited Saint Germain Bakery located inside the Ponce City Market enticed by their visually stunning desserts. However, the taste fell far below my expectations. The cakes were dry, the frosting overly sweet, and the pastries lacked the expected flakiness and flavor. Despite their picturesque appearance, the desserts were disappointing and lacked the homemade taste I was hoping for. I hope the bakery takes this feedback constructively and strives for a better balance between visual appeal and taste.

This bakery has the most inventive and fancy little desserts! I tried the Paris Brest and this Lemon Cube, both of which had amazing fresh textured mousse and were not too sweet! The Lemon Cube is the most lemon-y and tart meringue that had such a pure lemon flavor and the fluffiest texture that I ate the whole thing in one go. I wish I discovered this place earlier during my week of work travel to ATL!

Everything looks delicious! However, I ordered the Lemon Drop expecting lemon poppyseed cake inside, but it ended up just being lemon cream, no poppyseed as advertised. It had a hint of some weird flavor that was off. I ended up taking a few bites and throwing the rest away. The hot caramel latte was okay.

Very tasty pastries, a large variety to choose from and everything just as delicious as the last. There's something here for everyone, whether you want a little something something. For wanting a whole pastry experience. Prices are a little high, but it's expected in a location like this! I will return

We tried the Macchiato and the Capucchino, both delicious with a strong coffee flavor but without reaching the Dark Roast. We also tried the croissant, the perfect balance between crunchy and butter and also the Cróquets Monsieur, also delicious. Perfect for a delicious and different breakfast.

I had a great cup of cappuccino with a nice sweet bread with custard it was very good. I accidentally dropped my coffee and wasted it but they came out and gave me a brand new one. They serve their items in biodegradable containers so they’re earth friendly. Great service very friendly people.

Always a joy coming to Saint-Germain in Ponce. I haven't been to the other locations yet. But I've been coming for about 5 years and they have never gone wrong. Very yummy chocolates and desserts. I've tried many items here. Yesterday (Saturday 21. OCT. 2023) I got macaroons and chocolates.

Leon Salted Caramel mousse cake is heavenly! A little overpriced place though, but I’m definitely coming back there.

As always French desserts look so amazing, and it's no different here at Saint Germain French Cafe n Bakery. You have so many desserts to choose from, such as macaroons, danishes, and tarts just to name a few. There's even specialty coffees and teas you can enjoy.

Those pastries are so beautiful and lovely to look at, I got merengue bag and it was pretty good. Also service was good she gave us few samples. Too many selections of beautiful looking pastries, it’s definitely hard to decide which one you want to get.

Yes, the line is worth it! Take that time to linger looking into the pastry case to choose your macaron flavor or a delightful French patisserie specialty. I’ve stopped in here for a length of macarons, eclairs, tarts, a perfect rectangle

Stopped by during my visit to Atlanta, honestly was just walking through Ponce Market and stumbled across this. The tropical dessert was just beautiful, not too sweet, layers of flavors. Boyfriend got the blackberry mousses which was also

These treats survived my 1.5 hour commute home in 70ish degree weather. I ordered several truffles, along with the dark chocolate mousse dome, paris brest dome with hazelnut praline and chocolate ganache, salted caramel hazelnut tart (my

Very artistic desserts and baked goods. They look beautiful. We ordered a few desserts and even though they tasted delicious and the textures were good, all the expected (and listed) flavours/ingredients weren't there. The lemon dessert

The service here was such a shocking disappointment. You see such a beautiful Place with the colorful pastries and then try and place and order which you then realize is a person that doesn’t care you are there or really have energy or

This bakery was very good. Many choices but did not have my favorite. Staff was friendly and they have the cute little boxes for your pastry. Tried the key lime tart as a back up and it was decadent and delicious. Give them a try.

They offer a wide assortment of desserts, hand-made chocolates, macaroons, and beverages. You can stop by for a croissant or something less elaborate like a cheese Danish. The cinnamon rolls are terrific.

I had the Red Velvet and Lavender macaron and it was very delicious! Servers had a smile on their faces and the prices were okay but not cheap! Am defiantly coming back to try the carrot cake. …
